Today Nicholas gave me one of the best hair cuts Ive ever received!!! I have thin, fine, long hair, I am always reluctant to have my hair cut because I usually am told we can cut it across the bottom and give you bangs, no layers. Anyone who has thin hair knows options are limited, and always a chance if you ask for layers your leaving with a mullet, and 8 inches shorter.Nicholas has a professional demeanor, was enjoyable to talk to and listened to what I said I would like. He even asked me questions before cutting. I left Hair Masters feeling uplifted and beautiful. I highly recommend going to Nicholas.

Finally! A stylist that can do a decent pixie cut! Staff is so nice and efficient. The place is clean, even the restroom. Well, it is all ladies so... Going back in three weeks for a trim and it wont break the bank! Yea!

You know what youre getting at Hairmasters, its a very affordable hair salon and they are very nice with my tween. Only had one subpar experience (ages ago) but Ive seen that stylist again. Would recommend for nice quick haircuts.

Took my daughter here for her 1st ever hair cut and the hair dresser was super sweet and patient with her. She absolutely LOVED her hair.

If I rated on the basis of friendliness, they’d get 5 stars. Based on quality of my cut, it’s a solid one star experience. I should have known better, went in on a busy Sunday afternoon. I was squeezed in while another customer’s color processed. 15 minutes on the timer when I sat down with a wet head to the time the bell chimes and she was whipping off the cape. Looked great with her quick styling, looks like this picture when you comb it out, LITERALLY! I’ve never seen such a piss poor pixie cut in my life! Come on, you were a teen in the 60’s! You know what a pixie looks like! Think I’ll try a barbershop next time, bet they’d do a better job.

Brenda was my hair dresser and she was amazing. I had a great time just talking with her and my hair turned out better than I’ve had done in years. The hair dresser next to us did a great job also. I will consider driving back to Brenda from Bend if she is still there, next time I need a cut and color. Reasonable cost and good deals on hair product.

My son goes to Brenda multiple times a year. She is super patient with him even though he has a hard time staying still and tends to scrunch up his neck every time she gets out the clippers ha. She always manages to do a good job though. My daughter and I both see Candice, who is very good at knowing how to cut wavy hair to make it style nicely. They are both excellent stylists.

Paid quite a bit of $ to do a blonde balayage, only for it to come out copper, brassy, and strawberry blonde. The manager offered to fix it only to tone it to make it one color with barely any highlights and its still had a lot of red in it. Highly disappointed as this place came highly recommended. $135 down the drain. Now have to go pay $ for another salon to try and fix.

I worked at Hair Masters for 7 years, and managed this shop for my last couple years with them. The girls talked me into going out on my own, and Ive come a long way since. I now own a small studio in downtown Eugene and owe a lot of my knowledge to the work experience here.

My experience here was amazing! Make sure to ask for Brenda Hurd!!! She layered my hair and it looks amazing! She took off my split ends and made it look wonderful. Overall wonderful experience.

Great place for great cuts, color and hair stylists

Went in last week for simple 2 trim. Told the stylist EXACTLY what I wanted and that I had a top-heavy layer for my curly/frizzy hair and to keep the shaping etc and above all, not to cut more than 2. I was a little worried because he looked so young be he had a supervisor there so I thought, I mean, can you really mess up 2?I was so wrong. He not only destroyed my style by ruining the shaping, he did a bottom heavy layer which hacked up what appeared to be 4 of dry top hair. (he never sprayed my hair with water or anything, the edges were uneven). The whole time he was so carte blanch and talking like a person who was on drugs about his high school and how he wanted to open his own salon and how the stylists at his old beauty school were better than Hair Masters, yadda yadda. In retrospect I am like 70% positive if he hadnt smoked a dobbie in the back he was high from the day before, I mean, thats the level of maturity and stupidity that his one-way monologue was at. He said he had just finished beauty school and was talking about his high school friends. I mean, where do they get these professional stylists from???!The whole hair cut took less than 5 minutes. When he was done one half of my hair was so obviously uneven so he quickly cut off the additional inches when he saw me looking at it in the mirror. Right then my heart sank but it was too late so I kept hoping that it was OK.When he finished chopping I couldnt really see the shaping, primarily because my hair was fluffed out from his brushing and still dry. I hoped against the best, went home and washed my hair, only to discover after it swelled with my natural curls that appro 5-6 had been hacked off of my top layer. I could literally feel the weight of difference because so much of my hair had been taken in the process. My husband was shocked and said it looked really bad, and he could have done a better job (my husband, who is a programmer/video gamer and has never brushed his military cut in his life much less noticed my hair cuts in the past).(the top layer used to be to my navel but now the top layer is only 2 below my shoulder line. That is a huge huge difference.)Next day went back and demanded refund from manager, who rolled her eyes, offered zero apology and begrudgingly gave back the money. She was rude and belittling, even said oh it doesnt look bad (never mind the fact my husband had to help me trim the totally uneven ends the stylist had left and now my hair looks like friz).I called up hairmasters hotline and after 5 days finally got in touch with Eugenes District HM manager who briefly apologized and offered a 17$ gift certificate and said she would investigate. I also wanted a formal written apology, which she did not offer, just a stupid gift certificate to use towards their overpriced products or horrible stylists (bear in mind, 17$ doesnt get you a master stylist, just another schlemiel who is on cocaine or something).So here I am, with a horrible hairstyle before the holidays (and I had to honeymoon in it, too!) with 6 of my hair lopped off and barely an apology from hairmasters and a 17$ gift certificate. Sorry, but a free butchering of hair and $17 certificate to another free butchery is NOT adequate.Dont go to a HM in Eugene unless you want a butcher to chop your hair, a manager to belittle you and roll her eyes and a district manager to offer you a bare apology and another free chance to go through the trauma of loosing more hair. AWFUL.

Dont say you can do a skin fade, when u use the zero on your clippers for the shortest length. Andersons and mos faded are the only places Ive been so far that can actually do a skin fade.
