Had a great stay here, but the move out practices are underhanded. According to their staff, they will charge you an automatic $250 cleaning fee on move out no matter what. I wish that this was mentioned when I first moved in so that I wouldnt have wasted my time cleaning the apartment for hours on move out.
The best! I love everything about Chase Village. Extremely dog friendly. Very helpful and reliable maintenance. The office staff is amazing. Very nice apartments too.
Great location and amenities! My dog loves the park and the friendly staff.
This place was one of my favorite places to live while going to school! The apartments are SO spacious! This is a great area, lots of friendly people! The staff made it a very friendly environment! I really have to compliment Maintenance! I have never lived at an apartment where the maintenance is so quick and friendly with any issues or fixes in the apt. No complaints whatsoever, this place is a great place to live!
Yes they allow pets but they will take away your whole deposit for “pet damages”. We paid $1300 for a deposit and charged for $1800 when we moved out. They said there was urine in every room but our roommates NEVER had a dog in their room and our dog never had an accident in the living room or our room. Our carpet was only stained because we didn’t wipe her paws and their grass was always muddy. On top of that we called and emailed them for proof and they only want to provide us the invoice for replacing all the carpet. I do not recommend living here at all.
Lets be honest, this is one of the nicer apartment complexes in Eugene. The grounds are well-kept, the units are updated, and the location is great. Ive also had many interactions with the maintenance staff and have always been impressed with their quick response and professional manner.
Havent lived in an apartment for a while because 3 little kids stomping around would make any neighbor mad but when we were looking, Chase Village had the nicest apartments and best amenities for a very reasonable price. Looking around the apartment you could tell their maintenance team takes their job very serious and they dont just rush through a job to check it off a list. Everything was very well cared for.
Highly recommend! The staff is highly competent and friendly. Maintenance team is wonderful. Facilities are kept clean. Overall, a great place to live!
While living at Chase Village for over a year I was always the upmost satisfied with the maintenance crew! John, Ethan and the whole staff did so much for the apartment community. They always fixed any need and helped point me in the right direction with any question. Thanks again to everyone that made my stay there worth it! -Trent
By far the best place I lived hands down!!!the staff in front office are amazing very helpful they are in top of everything!! Lets not forget the maintenance guys literally a phone call away easy going and super helpful.really reccomend this place to everyone
These positive reviews are highly suspect. I can attest that almost all of the photos posted on Yelp are professionally taken and posted by the management company. So, its my opinion that the glowing reviews are similarly planted by the staff. Mine is not. The following review is based on true experiences at Chase Village. In all truth, Id rather not have to take the time to post a review -- Id rather just forget the last year or so -- but I feel a responsibility to prospective tenants to explain exactly what life at Chase Village is like. Some people have mentioned the proximity to Autzen Stadium. I suppose that could be taken as a positive. But it really isnt. When youre looking to rent, the management group promises that the traffic from Autzen Stadium wont be an issue because they have a process to keep resident parking open, direct game day traffic (yadda, yadda, yadda). Thats just so not true. Every game day was a nightmare. No parking, no ability to even drive close to my unit or to even leave the property after a certain point in the day. Chase Village did nothing to help and was totally tone-deaf to the issues experienced by tenants. The size of the units is a problem. The one-bedroom, one-bath unit is incredibly small and overpriced based on comparable square footage. The units are dark. And dank. And spider-infested. The kitchens and laundry facilities are dated and in dire need of maintenance/replacement. Even the plumbing is substandard. All of the units have incredibly thin walls. (I heard lots of complete, private conversations, even two floors away and with the TV on). There is no security to speak of at Chase Village and I spent the entire year anxious about what Id run into or find as I left my apartment. Items were stolen from my patio and every night there were people rummaging through the trash facilities. It is unnerving to just take out the trash because sometimes people are hiding inside the brick walls. Cars were also frequently vandalized. On the topic of cars, there are a surprising number of abandoned cars in the parking lot. Go look for yourself, if you dont believe me. While youre there, look at the way the buildings and grounds are maintained. In one building, there is a vine growing up out of the ground, through the plastic siding and up into a window. Trees sometimes fall on cars. I acknowledge that part of the problems I had with Chase Village was due to my inexperience. This was my first apartment. I did not know the Eugene area very well when I rented and, as I said above, I thought the location to the stadium would be advantageous. Chase Village just exploited my naivety. I actually left my unit in better shape than it was when I moved in and they still ripped off my entire security deposit. Please do your research when renting any apartment but save yourself a lot of money and heartache, and learn from my bad experiences at Chase Village. There are far better rental complexes in Eugene and they are definitely worth a look.
Property looks great and the apartments are big. Maintenance has been awesome and the office has been super helpful! Easily the best place that Ive lived at in Eugene.
Have worked with and communicated with the maintenance team here multiple times. Nothing but positive interactions for every scenario, attention to detail was always a high priority.
Thank you Chase Village and Ariel Duplant for sending residents our way when they are looking for furniture. We appreciate your support of Brenners Furniture a business that has been Downtown since 1938. We will continue to have great deals and a large selection of Student Specials.
Chas Village is a fantastic place to live! Everything is kept nice and clean and they are very very good about keeping up with work requests on your apartment. They are very fast, and everything is is fixed great! I will absolutely be renting from them again!! Sandra and Jessie are great people to deal with that work at the front desk and are very helpful and can answer any questions thoroughly that you may have! LIVE AT CHASE!
Extremely impressed with the diligence of the maintenance crew here. Each time I have an interaction with them they are professional and genuine.Very pleased
Great place, I transferred from Stadium Park since I had a group of 3 of us living in a 2 bedroom and wow they are BIG apartments. I know their office is so nice and the pool near the clubhouse was very nice with updated chairs to relax in. Would totally recommend to any college student in the Eugene area. 10/10
Only have been here for a couple days but its been great so far; location is awesome for game days! When we moved in the only problem was a lot of out outlets did not work and a couple lights were out, but they were very speedy in getting them fixed. Rooms are huge! I like the additional storage room as well.
Very nice apartments. And the maintenance team is very attentive and does a great job!
My husband and I have lived here at Chase for a few years now, and we absolutely love it! Our apartment is spacious and homey, and we are always so well received by any of the staff members we talk to. The fireplace is one of my favorite parts, but the entire property is always well kept and beautiful! I would recommend Chase to anyone and everyone!
I just moved into Chase this last September. So far I have gotten settled incredibly quick due to the really helpful maintenance staff and the office staff who are always ready and willing to answer my questions! I definitely plan on renewing my lease when I can so I can stay for another year after this.
I have a good time in Chase. It is really cozy. We have enough space to live...To be honest, I have a lot of good experiences. I like the pool and the tub. Thanks for Chase office provide good service for us. I will recommend to my friends.
Ive lived at Chase Village for over 4 years and do not intend on leaving. The staff is great, professional, and always ready to help. Through out the years living here Ive come to realize that the staff whether in the office or on the maintenance team are always here to help. They take care of everyone equally and make you feel welcomed. I recommend Chase Village for anyone or even any family looking for a new home. Duces!
You won’t get your deposit back even if you left the apartment in better shape that you found it. The one employees were good, but the new ones are always confused and give out wrong information.
The ladies who lease the apartments are incredible. Hands down the best customer service I have ever received when renting. They were incredibly accommodating of my move from Texas to oregon- I was never worried about a thing! I only interacted with Mia, Megan and Elena but they are an incredible representation of the company and I am so happy to be living at Chase!
I love living here, theres nice staff and the maintenance people especially are always on top of it!
Chase is an exceptional place to live. I have been here for almost a year now, and I have already renewed! The leasing process was quick, clear, and very pleasant. I knew exactly what I was paying for and the staff were excellent. Since Ive lived here there hasnt been a single day that I havent been greeted by name by the receptionists working in the office. There are constantly free items in the office including: coffee, tea, snacks, sodas, energy drinks, and a myriad of other perks frequently given out. In addition to this all villagers are invited to bbqs, pizza parties, sports game parties, and other fun community events! Its been a pleasure being here at Chase because of all the amenities and the wonderful staff, but most of all because of all the friendships Ive made here. You can constantly run into friendly people here, students and otherwise, and it makes living here that much better. Live at Chase! Its a great place to live!
I have lived at chase village for 4 years and can honestly say I have no regrets. The prices are competitive but the amenities are top knotch. Every year they do massive upgrades to public areas. I never had a work order take more than 1 day to be corrected. Highly recommend, especially to pet owners.
This place was so welcoming at first and I thought that I was going to enjoy living here. I was wrong. They constantly tried to charge me every little thing. I was told information on what I should do when moving out and I followed those instructions. I was very upset to see that they are trying to charge me $1130 for them to upgrade my apartment and that they are trying to blame my service dog for the damages. I hired a professional cleaner to clean my apartment before I moved out and they are also trying to charge me saying that I left the place a mess. Do not live here unless you like to throw money away on a bad apartment place that doesnt help their residents. Also I would give them no stars but I had to give them one to post this.
A nicely sized apartment, for a quality price, and accessable amenities! The office staff is always super friendly, and maintenance has always been incredibly helpful with the minor repairs inside of my apartment. I plan on sticking around a few years and really making this place home.
Hands down one of the best experience I have ever encountered even before moving to Eugene. Moving with pets is a hassle on its own and even more difficult when finding an apartment that accommodates to your needs and your fur babies needs. From day one and so forth, they have been such a blessing for letting us live here. All our families that have visited have said nothing but great things and are very surprise by how big and beautiful the property is. We are very thankful and very grateful we get to live at Chase Village!! Thank you! 😍🤗
Chase village is literally the worst place in the world. Their staff is entirely incompetent. They do not communicate with each other or with the residents. Maintenance takes a month or more to fix anything. The staff ignores their residents as well. When I moved in the carpets hadnt been cleaned which by the way is ILLEGAL. It was filthy and the people before me had a pet so there were pet stains all over the place. They gave me a voucher to get the carpets cleaned myself and didnt refund my restoration fee. Not to mention, theyre extremely inconsistent about they will or will not do in any given situation. I am leaving this place once my lease is up and never coming back. I wouldnt recommend chase village to my worst enemy.
Im currently a tenant at Chase Village, and I really enjoy living at the complex. Ive lived in the apartments for 5 years, and everyone (managers, maintenance men and employees) have been great! They make you feel welcome, and theyre quick to get problems/maintenance requests fixed. Every problem that has needed to be fixed was done quickly. My dishwasher broke, and I had a brand new one installed in no time! The apartments are very nice inside and out... definitely the best apartments in the area! They have FREE Tanning, two gyms, two pools, hot tubs, basketball/volleyball courts and much more. I also like the easy access to the bus (takes you to UO campus).I highly recommend Chase Village. Overall, Its an awesome place to stay! Unfortunately, Im moving out at the end of summer, and Ill definitely miss living here. Im also going to miss the free cookies and treats in the office. No complaints here.
If you want a peaceful and quiet place to live, avoid chase village. 90% of the residents in chase are college students who like loud music and partying. My neighbors play loud music all the time, so I complained to the managers several times. They promised me they would give my neighbors a notice or a call, but it seemed never happen because after all my neighbor are still playing all the time. In the end I have no choice but to call the police to solve it.
Great customer service, good knowledge of the job, fast response.
They are so great! The maintenance team is amazing!!
Trevor has been great in a timely manor
Best customer service, maintenance, and amenities! My one bedroom apartment is bigger than most and I love it!
I lived at Chase for 3 years. Overall it was a pleasant experience, if a bit expensive for the area. Staff are pleasant and attentive. We had some disputes from time to time but it was all handled professionally. Its a college apartment, so be aware that noise varies with season. You will likely not be able to leave the complex easily on game days during the fall (but thats every complex in the area around the stadium). Easy access to college through the park, with running trails nearby.Negatives - Theres petty crime around the area, consistent with the college mentality and non-sober antics. For incoming college students and young renters, the business practices of the management may appear cold and deceptive. Im probably desensitized after living in the Bay Area, but in general I got exactly what I expected out of the contract. Some clarity at contract signing about final costs would be beneficial.Main complaint would be the annual contract process, and something that anyone looking at the complex should be aware of. Early in the calendar year theyll send around notices asking for a commitment to renew the lease by the end of the spring, or your apartment will go on the market. As all leases renew in the summer, this is essentially a 15-18 month commitment. Given that the majority of renters are probably college students, I understand the business reasons, however as a working professional it was something that didnt fly well with me. I dont live by the school year, and I dont like putting commitments in for over a year.
Do not rent here unless you want to pay way too much for the poor quality of the apartments and the unqualified maintenance workers $1500 is not worth living in these apartments everything that I requested to be fixed was half assed and jimmy rigged by people who knew less about how to fix the problem then my 1 year old daughter! I also couldnt count how many times I had my parking spot takin (that I PAID for!) by some kid oh and dont bother trying to report it even though they have signs saying the vehicle will be towed Ive never seen someone get towed out of my parking spot. I loved coming home after a hard days of work and having to walk ten minutes to my apartment because there isnt enough parking. I love ranting about the hell my family had to go through living here Ill include pictures like my RUSTY SINK I was left yeah dont live here!
DO NOT MOVE HERE. My lease end date cannot come soon enough, stay away from this complex. We have put in for maintenance requests, that were marked completed and never done. My car was broken into (as well as many many others), multiple cars have been stolen, people dig through the garbage constantly, we can hear our neighbors cough or sneeze, our fridge broke twice within 2 months resulting in us throwing away an entire fridge and freezer worth of food both times (not our fault the fridge broke) but when Ive asked for compensation for the food I had to throw away, I was not a priority at all. Its been a week, I have called back 3 times now, was told I would know what they would do by the end of the week which has now passed and I am still waiting. Dont waste your money spending this much on an apartment that only cares about getting your money, not about helping you, or helping fix problems.
We have lived here at Chase Village for over 2 years. We are a middle aged couple with two children. Just because the community feels this is a college complex, does not mean it is! We have never had anything short of great customer service at the office and all of our concerns and maintenence issues have been dealt with in a prompt and timely way. Thanks Chase!!
Chase Village has issues. Twice, we have had parcels go missing from what is supposed to be a secured mailbox. Our vehicle has been vandalized twice. Security in this large complex is almost non-existent. For these issues to continually happen without being addressed by the management is unacceptable. RENTERS BEWARE!
Wow this place is great and chris helped out so much at the front office what a rockstar
Great customer service! Really friendly environment.
RENTER BEWARE! BUGS BUGS BUGS! Our unit has found a huge infestation of carpet beetles, silverfish, carpenter ants, AND WASPS. Yes, theres a wasp colony also living INSIDE our unit! The apartment tried to actually not help the situation at first - chose to not even believe us. They finally sent out a pest control guy who hardly sprayed anything - 9 minutes for $100. When we were still experiencing the Infestation (including the wasps) they urged on continually sending their pest control guy. We called 3 exterminators around town, who all observed the apartment and said it was heavily infested. Treatment runs about $2500 for how bad these buildings are, and theyd have to treat the ENTIRE building. Turns out now we might have bed bugs. My partner woke up to bites all over his stomach this morning. NOW we find out they power wash the siding every year. This would explain the mold and mass infestation. Overpriced! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!
The maintenance staff is awesome!!!
Love living at Chase Village. Staff is very responsive. Theres always a hosted bbq or other food event happening free to tenants. During finals week, they gave out breakfast to everyone at the entraces, and in the rain, too. Great amenities: 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis, 2 weight rooms, tanning beds, etc. Ground are always kept nicely landscaped. Security is very responsive, and there are quiet hours during the day and silent hours at night so the place is always comfortable. Well organized maintenance and management team. Highly recommend.
The apartment is decent, but NOT clean when we moved in and they would not refund cleaning fee. If you dont mind being ignored when you need things fixed (frequently), apartment not sprayed for ants, and most importantly, being IGNORED when someone parks in your parking spot, then this is the place for you!!After numerous complaints to the management, about people parking in my spot, nothing has been done, and they just shrug it off.So, the rent is a bit high, the apartments somewhat run down and older, the management pretty uninterested, (except when it comes to collecting rent), and parking is outrageous (especially on game day, DONT leave your apartment!!) Except for that, it is an okay place to live.I am amending my review. Make it a negative star. Have tried to get them to fix a light on the porch for two months. No luck. Now that it is dark earlier, it is dangerous going down the stair in the dark. Almost fell, but they went to fix it, didnt, and now it is halloween and super dangerous. These people are nothing but slum lords!!! Yes, they are fixing the outside, but inside, the floors are in bad shape, the figures are falling off, the lights dont work, and they make you have renters insurance that puts their negligence and horrible maintenance on your insurance, not theirs. They claim no responsibility for accidents/injuries for their negligence. AWFUL!!! HORRIBLE landlords.
The one bedroom apartment we rented there was not at all worth the 960 dollars we paid a month. Multiple cars were stolen including one of ours, and multiple stolen cars were found in the visitor parking spaces. They were disrespectful at the office, fake even. Mckenzie Meadows apartments are cheaper, bigger and way nicer; We had a much better experience there. At Chase our bathroom fan didnt get fixed until the second to last month we lived there. They also do inspections like a dorm room to where if you are not home they go inside anyway. Which Im pretty sure is illegal. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Our mailboxes were all torn open at one point and they did not do anything about it. Just had us start using them again as normal as we could and just rebent the back side of it. Thats security right there. Not. Not to mention the never ending silverfish bugs and ants they wouldnt take care of. Worst experience we have had with an apartment complex. Hands down. (Side note. They only maintain the hot tub and pool closest to the office. The other one is foul)
They will try to rip off every dime they can after contract is signed. I lived there for 6 months and after I got out of there they charged me $200 for cleaning and the apartment was clean! I was going to be forced to live there again due to lack of apt offers at that time, so I put down $270 to hold an apartment. however, I found another place, so I called Chase Village two months in advance of my contract to tell them that I am not going to live there anymore. After few weeks, they email me asking me for an additional $250 fee for canceling the contract. yea right! sue me you greed *******trust me you will be better off at places close to Chase like Parkgrove Apartments or Stadium Park. Campus is even better with price range around chases price range.
Thay are great people to do bessness with movinng. In soon. 😎🏈📢
This place sucks. They dont take any of the maintenance requests seriously! Weve been without a working AC for 14 days!
DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Not only is it way over priced for the services they offer (pool and hot tub-look like they have never been cleaned, tanning- bulbs need to be replaced and you can only tan twice a week, night time security- not actually to prevent crimes) but the staff in the office is incredibly rude! They were all super friendly and helpful before I signed the lease. They have ignored ANY problem or concern I have had. All of my maintenance requests have been brushed aside. They even had the audacity to give me a penalty for not cleaning up the people above mes cigarette buds, I dont even smoke! Oh and my neighbors are some of the most evil people I have ever met!All in all I would strongly advise not living at Chase unless you want to be harassed, ignored and have the life be sucked out of you!!!
Chase Village is a very great place to live. The staff are incredibly nice, especially Jesi & Sandra (theyre great), and are always there to answer your questions and Im always welcomed with a smile. Ive lived here less than a month & I am so happy that I decided to live here. It is very convenient to the bus stop & the bike trail is literally across the street; and both are a straight shot to UO. Autzen Stadium is practically my backyard. I feel very comfortable with where I am with a lot of space, I can honestly say I dont feel crammed. Maintenance is VERY HELPFUL! Once I see something that isnt right, I call the leasing office, and they put in an order, and the problem is solved the next day. And the cookies.... they are the best, free in the leasing office. The two pools and two gyms are bonuses, they are great for working on your summer bod or your summer tan (might I mention, theres tanning booths available for free). I am overall very happy with my choice & I thank Sandra and Jesi for all their hard work making Chase Village an amazing place to live.
Chase village is a quiet nice place to call home
This is the WORST apartment I have ever lived in. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. They dont even deserve 1 star. On the first day I moved in I thought the apartment was suppose to be clean, but no, there were bugs in the carpet and worms. There must have been a hole somewhere that lets bugs in because everyday I saw more bugs in the carpet. It awhile for maintenance to show up to fix stuff, sometimes they dont even show up. The appliance there were in bad condition. Like the refrigerator keep leaking, every morning there would be a puddle of water in the kitchen, called many time to fix it, but only work temporary. Also they $200 restoration fee is stupid, I had 2 other roommate with me, which means it was $600 fee that did not sound reasonable, since when I first moved it the apartment was not even clean and it stinked. So glad that I am not living there anymore.
Security is to busy monitoring trash cans instead of peoples safety and property. Kinda sad.
One of the ugliest places here, bad management, and horrible maintenance.. I have been here for 4 years and when I got only 6 months to graduate I asked them to extend the contract for only 4 months, they refused it. I highly disapprove anyone who is looking for a place to rethink again about Chase Village!.. also theyve increased the prices without telling us.
Good and good!
Expensive but nice
The surrounding environment of CHASE VILLAGE is very good, and there are people to clean and tidy every day. On weekdays, the bus is convenient to go to DOWNTOWN on the 13th and the left to the school to WALMART and WINCO. If the residence is spacious and bright, the office staff are enthusiastic and patient in handling problems and very efficient Usually there are problems at home and everything that needs to be repaired can be solved quickly. If the English is not good, they will also explain to you patiently, especially Jesi and Sandra. They are so good that they accompany me to practice English pronunciation once I am going to send them off before returning home. Order a small gift with Chinese characteristics hahaThere is a Chinese restaurant nearby, a small shop, a coffee shop, although I don’t usually go there, but it’s convenient if I need it occasionallyThere are also free fitness equipment, swimming pool, hot spring bath, and sometimes the staff will be at BARBECUE in front of the office. Don’t miss it when you pass by~~~
This is a good place to live. And officers are very nice. Not too far from the school. The environment is not bad!
Everything is wonderful, but one drawback is summer time
