This shop does great work. They have serviced my Sprinter van for 12+ years now and are complete, communicative, and very fair.
Awesome! Friendly, honest, called to let us know what needed to be done, treated us fairly. The car was done by the end of the day. Someone you can trust.
While on in town on business in Eugene, my car gave a “charging malfunction” error. The car advice was pretty serious “turn off vehicle and bring to the dealer”. I was able to limp it over to Jackson’s Complete Auto Care about 5:15 pm. The techs had gone home, but they got it all checked in for the next day. I had a call the next morning before 10:00 am that it was ready to go. They changed the alternator belt and tensioner. I felt like service was quick, they were honest and fair. Experience was stellar! Thank you!
My son took his car to them and they checked it out. Said it was good to go, and they quoted me $150, but didnt charge him anything! Thats a great business!! Thank you!
Very over priced, got my air conditioning fixed at a fraction of the price.
I am a loyal customer of Jacksons- they have taken excellent care of my 2001 Toyota Echo so that I can feel confident driving on the highway to work without fearing a breakdown or that I am putting too much wear and tear. I am always confident in their diagnostics and I feel that my car is running as well as possible under their care. They also send out yearly rebates to their customers which usually covers the cost of an oil change.
From the friendly welcome to the review of upcoming service needs to keeping my car running safely and reliably, I appreciate the consistent and quality service I get at Jacksons Complete Auto Care. It starts with their flexibility of setting up an appointment time and continues all the way to pick up when I tend to pepper them with questions as we talk about what I can plan for in the upcoming maintenance visits. Thanks to everyone at Jacksons Complete Auto Care!
While on my way home I started having car problems, it was almost 5 so I was worried I would get turned away. I called Jacksons auto because it was the closest mechanic to me and they told me to head over. I made it 2 more blocks and my car died... I called back and told them what happened, I was blocking traffic and no one was willing to help me push my car, I just kept getting honked at. Next thing I know a car full of mechanics from Jacksons pulls up and immediately gets my car out of the way! Bob was so helpful over the phone (I was pretty upset about the whole situation) he helped calm me down. They waited for me to get my car towed there and I was called the next day with a description of what went wrong with my car. They were very honest with me and very helpful!
My truck decided that it didnt want to start periodically for no rhyme or reason and after the frustration of trying to troubleshoot things myself I decided to call Jacksons Complete Auto Care and they had me back on the road by the next day. Jacksons staff where extremely professional and responsive, they addressed the issue I was having and made sure my vehicle was fully operational and working reliably. I wont hesitate to go back and see them in the future if needed and will recommend them with confidence.
Jacksons did excellent maintenance on my 2000 van that needed to be done. I feel the price was right and not high like I was paying for their childrens college education. Jacksons also was able to find and fix what like 5 other shops were not able to fix and for that they get 6 gold stars.
I’ve had a great experience with Jackson’s. They’ve solved issues with two of my vehicles quickly and professionally, and I’ve never had a problem with the work they’ve done. They’ve even contacted me the day after I picked up my vehicle to ask me if everything is going well. I’ve never had a mechanic do that. I fully believe that they are trustworthy.
Never came in just called. The guy said my car was junk.
Excellent, personable, precise, affordable, care for your vehicle!!
Got me on a Saturday, same day appointment. Fixed the car quick and did it for the exact same amount my regular shop quoted me for, but couldnt fit me in for. I didnt even tell them about the price my other shop quoted me. Good group of guys will do business with them in the future.
This is the only place I take my car. Highly recommend!! Bob and the rest of the guys there are great! They shoot straight. They tell you when someone is in dire need of repair and what can wait for another day.. or if a repair isnt really a big deal. They are even open a bit on the weekends. A+++
My son came up on this place by being towed there from the freeway outside of Eugene. He had had an accident in Nevada, and was towed to another shop at the other shop they replaced the tires that were obviously ruined and did not check anything else. They then sent my son on his way on his long trip to Portland. Now obviously they didnt check everything because when he got outside of Eugene his car broke down again and he got another tire that had a problem. At this point my son had been on a 10-hour drive that lasted 2 and 1/2 days so when he was towed into Jacksons complete autocare they took really good care of him checked to the diagnostic on his car and then found out that he needed a new battery. they put a new battery in test it out make sure that the car was safe.Jacksons complete autocare was wonderful to deal with especially since I was trying to help my son from Utah .thank you Jacksons Auto Care.If I could get more stars I would!!!!!
Frustrating to get a quote for over $2k to fix ac on vw jetta when it only ended up needing a solenoid not an entire compressor. Especially when this was suspected when vehicle was dropped off. Repaired for @ a cpl hundred, not thpusand!
This place is a gouger...125$ per hour is 25-$45 more than most shops charge. And 100 for diagnosticJacksons charges 130 .Patrick Olson a few blocks down has diagnostic for 100 and 100 per HR rate..Im taking my yukon there....
Wonderful service. Ask to know your perception of any problem and report back. This is an excellent business. We are extremely satisfied.6/12/19- When my 2015 Honda failed to start, I was pretty sure that I was not out of gas. I had the car towed over the weekend. On Monday the techs spent hours tracing down the problem to a fuse. Although they were pretty booked with work, they were able to get me back on the road by Monday afternoon. Thanks!
My 2003 Honda CRV blew out its radiator and left me stranded some 50 miles from home in Eugene. AAA and the towing operator recommended Jacksons & I had seen reviews about them on yelp prior, so I called to get their take. Dropped off car straightaway and by next morning they had diagnosed the problems and given an estimate. When I picked up car the work was done and it ran just fine. Been over a week now and happy to say that they were friendly & knowledgeable and also texted afterward to ask how the vehicle was running. Would certainly recommend them.
Suspension in my van just.... snapped. Broke. They gave me a reasonable (and honest) quote. It was fixed in very good time and they topped off my fluids. Couple other things they did that suggested they really cared. Final cost was within a dollar of the estimate. Hard to find a good, honest mechanic shop. These guys earned my trust. Ill be back. Been meaning to write them a personal thank you but hope this suffices for now. (also you guys replaced that missing lug for no charge... I noticed that...)
I had dented one of my rims about a month ago and had my vehicle towed to this location for the work that needed to be done. I had gotten word back that a replacement rim would be $700 (for one wheel). As this was pretty steep at the time I believed the person I was tallking to and thought that there might be a better way to go about this. My idea was to get a new set of cheap wheels (as a new set would only be a little more than $700 but I can get them all replaced) and sell my old ones, especially if they are going for $700 referbished. Well fast forward a month and I find that the wheel I was quoted for $700 actually costs $200-300. If I would have had this information at the time I wouldve went with just replacing the one wheel instead of all four. With $1000 in expenses for the work and wheels, I now cant sell these rims as they are nowhere near the value I had thought they were. Pretty upsetting that a shop would try and upsell a product like this, but it was my mistake believing the shop instead of doing my own research.
When my van developed a transmission issue, I had it into a transmission specialist who verified that the transmission itself was fine and that there might be a computer or harness issue. I brought it into Jacksons, they identified the issue within a half-day of me dropping it off (frayed connector in the wiring harness to the transmission) and had it repaired the day after the part they ordered came in. They also replaced a turn signal bulb and verified that we didnt have any leaking seals. Im thoroughly satisfied by the skill and attitude of the people I worked with and will bring the van back the next time I need service.
I took my car in to have the AC unit looked at and after a $60 fee I was told that my AC compressor had blown and shot metal through the entire system. To fix the problem they would have to replace all the air conditioning parts and it would cost $2600. Thank goodness I have a mechanically inclined family member that insisted I not take it in and let him fix it. He got a used $100 compressor from B&R, filled up the Freon and it works good as new. Obviously there was no metal in my system. Dont let this place take advantage of you!!
Fast, Friendly and Professional..If your looking for a place that you can trust, Jacksons is the spot! Not only do I use them exclusively, but I send both my college age kids there for all their automotive needs. I have had nothing but great experiences since I started using Jackson. I feel safe sending my kids there that they will be treated like family. Cant say enough good things about this great shop. My vehicles (and familys vehicles) are always fixed right, on time, and very affordable.
Top notch customer care! They were very courteous, listened to my description of my cars problem, and shuttled me back home across town. They called quickly with a diagnosis, estimate, and phone approval to proceed with the work. My car was repaired within an acceptable timeframe, and the charge was within industry standards. When I returned to pick up my car, I felt as though I had been cared for by family members - they greeted me by name, explained what had been done, and even gave me tips for going forward. These things are all important to a widow without a lot of mechanical knowledge. And months afterward, they even emailed to remind me when it was time for my cars checkup - not in a spammy way, just a friendly note. I appreciate this kind of care. High five to this great team!
Jacksons has kept our vehicles on the road for years. Their services continually expand to keep up with the needs of newer vehicles. We keep cars for 10 years or 250K, and Jacksons keeps them running perfect.
Great folks. Great customer service. They do what needs to be done, and don’t try to pressure you into unnecessary repairs. I’ve been going there for years.
I had my truck break down in Eugene on a trip through. AAA recommended Jacksons so I had them tow me there. Jacksons was thorough, honest and professional. They took care of the problem FAST, gave me good info about taking care of my diesel engine and were friendly and personable to boot. Very good experience!! Thank you so much for getting me back on the road!
I had a terrible experience with this business and am happy to have moved on to another auto shop. Back in September of last year, I dropped my car off for a very scary issue. It had unexpectedly stalled on me at a stoplight twice in two months leaving me suddenly with no power steering and no power brakes. Also my right rear blinker had stopped working a week before. When I came in, they took notes on my issues into their computer system and told me Id have a $120 diagnosing fee. This fee is not charged at Action Automotive. (Or Bob James, where Im going next) But I reluctantly agreed since having moved on because of bad experiences at Action Auto. I left for a 10 day vacation only to come back and be told that the car could not be diagnosed (but I would still be charged half the diagnosing fee! ONLY half, I was told as if it was a favor! Thanks, for charging me $60 for a drive around the block!). When I came in to pick up my car, I thankfully thought to double check to make sure they had fixed the rear blinker. The guy gave me a blank look and said Oh, no...we havent yet. Its unsafe to drive without a blinker, and yet I was almost allowed out the door with no blinker, no apology and no explanation. Not even a hint of concern.Terrible, terrible service. TWO more days I had to wait just to get that dealt with. Also, the guy didnt even suggest any next steps or anything...just We cant fix it, if the problem doesnt occur while we drive it. I get that, but seriously, some suggestions...some ideas....ANYTHING??? Nope. Just. So. Lame.
Best customer service. The service is always done right. Thank you guys
Best shop in town. I take all of my vehicles there and they are always honest and are able to explain things so it makes sense. I would recommend Jacksons to anyone and everyone.
Went there for an oil change - we are on a long road trip - because of the AAA approval, but was NOT impressed. First issue - I identified our vehicle year, make and model during my phone call - they SHOULD have verified that they had the oil filter they needed at that time, instead, they told me to come on in, they were not busy. As a result, a 15 min. oil change took more than an hour, while they waited for the oil filter to be delivered. Second - SUPPOSEDLY, they did a multi-point vehicle inspection checklist, but they do not provide the completed checklist and I seriously doubt that they did anything but change the oil. SO, the point of my seeking out a AAA approved service center was lost, since I do not have the warm fuzzy feeling that I was hoping for, that my vehicle was in good shape to continue on our road trip. This is the main reason for my only giving a one-star review rating.
Great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and probably will return.
My car was overheating so had it towed to Jacksons to diagnosis and repair. The mechanic called me regarding the diagnosis and explained in detail what they found. They provided a price quote which I approved. When I picked it up the next day my car worked perfectly, was nicely vacuumed and the bill was exactly as stated. Very friendly experience.
Overall a great experience with the guys at Jacksons. They kept in contact throughout the entire diagnostic process keeping me updated with what the problem could be and how much it would cost at each step. The techs were honest and friendly and even let me keep my car on their lot free of charge until I could get my car removed. (Sent to salvage)
Complete gouge. Our delivery Truck broke down. Towing (very close by) was $400. Then $1,200 for a distributor cap / rotor. Then when our delivery guy picked it up, they said they had to replace some other stuff and it would be another $183. They did the work without my autorization!!! And would not concede anything. And they were done with the work three days later than they said they would be. Lousy outfit.
My motorcycle had a hose failure late at night, stranding me in their parking lot. Even though they dont deal with motorcycles, they were accommodating and understanding; I left a note explaining what was up and called them first thing in the morning--they had already taken a peek at the hose and found suitable temporary fixes!A+, would break down at again.
Pros and honest.
Got the wifes cars oil changed, floor boards vacuumed, and exterior washed for about 35 bucks - plus they gave her a ride to and from work and replaced a burned out taillight for no charge. Cant complain, thats for sure. Great guys, A+ service. Thanks
I like these guys - straightforward, honest, and friendly without the typical used car guy salesman BS. Decided to give Jacksons Auto a try on a friends recommendation, after another shop who shall remain nameless couldnt manage to fix the clunk in the front end of my car (after three visits and three bills for the same issue, I might add). Voila! One visit to Jacksons and no more clunk, plus they explained everything in a way I could understand without making me feel like an idiot for asking and without a bunch of car guy jargon. Hallelujah! Ive finally found a place that doesnt have Slick Mick working the counter.
I like the shuttle service they offered, they gave me a ride home while my car stayed over night.
This is a great auto shop. Expect professional, knowledgeable, and attentive staff who have many years of auto care under their belt.
My widowed mother-in-law lives on a fixed income, Her 2008 Honda Civic had a radiator and air conditioner condenser leak. I bought the radiator and condenser my self, removed the old ones. But because the air conditioner needs recharged, I took it to Jacksons to install both radiators and charge the air conditioner. I removed the radiators in 30 minutes with (1) 10mm wrench. Jacksons shop rate is $90 Hr. They charged me $243 to install the radiators and $80 to charge the air conditioner. Or 2.7 Hrs of shop time just to install the radiators. When asked why so much? The answer was we just go by the book rate for the whole job I asked if Jackson could charge me the shop rate for the installation, NO, we just go by the book rate I asked how much time did the mechanic use for the installation The answer came back we do not know, we just go by the book rate This is not a way to run an honest business as far as I am concerned. I will not recommend Jacksons to any body when they can take advantage of a widow like this.
As we were driving I5 south our check engine light appeared near Eugene. We found Jacksons serendipitously through a quick phone search. They fit us in immediately and ran diagnostics on the car. Within a few minutes they had discovered and fixed the problem. They did not charge us for the visit. We offered to pay for their time, but they refused with a smile. The staff were gracious, knowledgable, and incredibly honest. We highly recommend Jacksons.
It was a horrible experience they tried to rip me off. They said they put $20 worth of gas in my car and my gas tank was on empty so they lied to my face. He did reimburse me $10 because he knew it was a lie. I would never recommend Jacksons to anyone they will rip you off.
I loved it.My truck had a check engine light on and it was worrying me. I found these guys on google and to my surprise I also found coupons! I thought to myself hey, this is cool. I can get a free diagnostic. ill give this place a shot.Showed up at 10:00am and it took them ALL DAY to run a diagnostic. Probably because they perform such an extensive check on the flashing light that tells them whats wrong with my engine. They called me at 4:30pm and told me that my master brake cylinder was bad and that I needed to replace my O2 sensor. I was impressed. Only 7 hours to figure out such cryptic failures (despite my brakes not working at all that week). I wasnt doing anything that Tuesday anyway. So I went back in to pick up my truck after a long day of anticipatory waiting. They had a bill waiting for me there for $180.00. WOW ONLY $180 TO RUN DIAGNOSTICS FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND I HAD A COUPON FOR A FREE DIAGNOSTIC. Easily the best deal I have ever gotten from an autoshop (those shops with signs that say free check engine light inspection are lying to you). They hadnt actually done any work (nothing all day) to my truck, but i guess they did figure out what was wrong.I asked, ok, so how much to fix my master brake cylinder and change the O2 filter?OH ONLY $1600.00cool I have this coupon for 10% off brake workoh yeah we already applied thatuhI was impressed. So impressed that I went to Autozone and bought my own O2 sensor and master cylinder for 97.00 (total). It took me an hour using my amateur skills to change out these two things. I thought to myself, so strange, I wonder why they would charge me $1600.00 for such a simple job with really cheap parts.Probably for the same reason they charged me almost $200 to read engine diagnostics for my check engine light, when every single other auto shop will do that procedure for free in less than an hour.So I guess Ill give your shop 5 stars, cause I LOVE IT when a mechanic bends me over, f*%ks me, and tries to make me pay for it.Anywhere in Oregon is better than this place./s
Top notch customer service and workmanship
Great helpSo much better than dealerships
Lied about what I needed done on my car trying to swindle as much money as possible out of me.
Awesome work
Great work.
