Alpine serviced and eventually had to replace my broken heat pump. Over the course of multiple home visits and interactions with the office, every one of the 7 or more individuals that worked with us throughout the project was professional, helpful, and personable. The owner/manager, office, and engineers working at our house, all of them have been extremely nice and professional. They performed great quality work, were respectful to the home, cleaned up like they had never been there, and I couldnt ask for better service.

Brandon was AWESOME!! Our AC went out during the hottest week in Eugene and they fit us in and Brandon got us taken care and of right away! He’s personable and such a great guy! We will definitely use him again! He even cleaned out our dryer vent while he was here. Highly recommend!

The process from beginning to end was easy and relatively quick for a last minute summer install request. We had a full cut heat pump system installed in our house. Our installers, Jesus and Frank, were extremely efficient and great people to have around for the week. For the first time, we are enjoying a cool house in the summertime. I feel bad for our installers because they had to be working in our hot and confined attic crawl space all week. But, they took it like champs and knocked the job out with professionalism. Kudos to Jesus and Frank...yall deserve it.

Lucas Ferguson did a great job explaining what the process would entail and answered my questions in a thoughtful and professional way. He also walked me through how to take advantage of credits and rebates during the process and got the proposal to me before he left. Great service!

Casey was very professional and honest. He did a great job, and really took time to check everything over. He also took time to make sure my dog was comfortable, and explain things to me. I didn’t feel like he was in a rush to get to the next house, and made sure he did all he could for me. I will definitely use Alpine again.

Installation went well for new AC/gas furnace. Nice install folks. They really made the cement slab level and look nice with gravel. However, they couldn’t get the new upstairs wireless thermostat to pair with the new downstairs thermostat system (their installation for both). They sent a technician out the next day which was nice that we didn’t have to wait. The second technician couldn’t figure it out. Asked me for the manual to read. Then asked if we had different batteries to try in case they were dead. Gave him those. After 1.5 hours, he said that they would have to send another technician out. I called to set that up. They should be here later today. Will update score and text with results of this next visit. The next tech couldn’t figure it out, so another tech was sent a few days later (only because I was leaving town for a few days) . This tech let me know that the incorrect second thermostat was installed upstairs, so he quickly swapped that out and it paired correctly.

After calling around to a few places, Alpine seemed like the most cost effective option to repair and replace my HVAC. I am military and they recognized that and gave me a great deal! They were efficient, professional and thorough in replacing my system.

Had our AC unit replacedPositives- Everyone we interacted with was friendly- Good price- Flexible with our schedule change- everyone that came inside wore shoe covers- AC works well (finally)Negatives- Initial install was done incorrectly and we had to wait another week before it was up and running- when they finally got it installed a week later it was still missing a part so we were told they had to send a technician out to finish the install- technician was 3 hours late. We were supposed to be the first customer of the day but the technician decided to try to fit in another job before ours. Something went wrong at that site and he was delayed. Emergencies happen but no one reached out to let us know that he was going to be late- when the technician finally arrived he said that the install was done incorrectly and that they were going to have to come back AGAIN- scheduled that but the day of we got a call saying they had to reschedule because they didn’t have the right partSo to summarize, a job that should’ve taken one day ended up taking them 4 separate visits. And they moved our scheduled time twice, once without even telling us.EDIT - changing this review from 2 stars to 1 because now they’ve had to come back a 5th time. There were two install issues pointed out by the city inspector. And for this 5th appointment, they were scheduled to be here between 11 and 12 but it’s 1:10 and they still aren’t here. They’ve been late more than they’ve been on time.

Things started out well. It was late Friday afternoon when I contacted Alpine as our AC had stopped working. At first I was told that they were not able to schedule me that day or next week as they didn’t have any available appointments. But, I got a call back 5 minutes later saying a tech was on their way. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to come so last minute and late in the day. The tech spent quite awhile looking at/working on the air conditioning unit outside and then told me the compressor was locked up and had to be replaced. The HVAC system is only 2.5 years old so this was surprising. The cost to replace it was $2,500 and hopefully Amana would pay for the part (not the labor) as it should be under warranty. But, we would have to pay for everything up front. The following week we called the company that had installed the HVAC system 2 years ago and they came out a day or two later. They immediately told us the compressor was working - they had everything fixed in less time than it took Alpine to tell me I needed to spend $2,500. I actually paid less for the second person to come out and fix the AC than I paid for Alpine to come out and tell me the wrong thing. That was really disappointing so I called Alpine to tell them. They were going to have me talk to the manger but he was on another line. They said that he would call me back. A week later I still haven’t gotten a call from him....

The team has always been responsive and supportive of our needs. Our house went from a baseboard heating system to heat pump. This required new duct work throughout the house. The installation was excellent and every attempt was made to conceal the system in the most economical and visually pleasing way. The team is always polite when performing our required preventative maintenance and cleaning. They also installed new insulation after the heating/cooling system.

I had a new Mitsubishi unit installed June 2020. I was replacing sheet rock around this time and Alpine worked with me to install the lines inside the wall before putting up the new sheet rock. Had Tom come out to inspect system after another company was here. He the other guy spotted a leak at the furnace said it was R 12 and could not be fixed..Tom found that drain Line was plugged he fixed it. I also told Tom system doesn’t work very well . Tom inspected ducking and found that it was not set up right for this house, that is why some rooms very little heat and air. Tom suggested that we have you to come out and give us some options on replacement, the system is 18 years old Tom thought it is time..I f you have any questions just call us

If you need service for your existing HVAC equipment or are looking for a professional installation of new HVAC equipment steer clear of Alpine Heating. They use inexperienced installers & techs without any formal training. They practice & encourage the techs/installers to take shortcuts & use inferior materials. Most importantly they do not employ any licensed Journeyman Installers or Service Techs nor are they Nate certified. The Salesmen do not have the experience or the training necessary to correctly size equipment or design a proper system for your home or business.Some things to watch out for are shoddy installation procedures. For example the installation manager actually follows up after the installation of new ducting to apply white-out to silver hex screws instead of having the installers use the flush mounted painted screws that come with the registers. They have a poorly tooled so-called sheet metal shop that greatly limits what they can produce & they do not employ any licensed Journeyman sheet metal techs. Take a look at the company trucks/vans and its a really good indicator of the type of service/installation that will follow. Most of their small fleet of vehicles are poorly maintained & the staff driving them can often be seen smoking in them. If you do choose to use this company for installation be sure to wait to sign & watch as the original price they quoted drops because they are often desperate for work.

My experience was good from the beginning to the end. I hired Alpine to install an HVAC system in my home. Randy came out to initially assess the situation and he was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Since my large addition has a short crawlspace, they had to add ductless units in addition to the ducted system in the main section of the house. They told me about a Mitsubishi system that will run both the ducted heating and the ductless heads all from one heating unit. CJ and his crew did the installation and communicated with me throughout the process. CJ even found several problems with my house that would have become much bigger issues if they werent pointed out to me! Thank you to everyone at Alpine!

They replaced the compressor that keeps our walk-in refrigerator, keeping it nice and cool. They also do a great job on the roof with the HVAC unit. I would highly recommend them.

Brandon came to our home and asked specifics questions on what we were experiencing with our system that allowed him to trouble shoot the issue with an open mindset to figure out where the problem was coming from. Experience in customer service was very good.

They have worked on my furnace twice and both times I was happier than when I had to use marshals heating and air...The last time Alpine was here he got my furnace working better than it has in the 7 years we have been here.

The sales rep, Shane, was great. We talked with 6 companies and most of them had terrible customer service. Out of the 6 places we ended up getting 4 quotes and Alpine was actually one of the higher ones but because of the customer service we received we thought that extra money we were paying would be well worth it. We were only kind of right. We are very happy with the product but it seems like once they had our money the customer service has gone downhill. Who knows, maybe everyone else there isn’t as good as Shane was. There are still things that haven’t been fixed or corrected almost 10 months later. I’ve also been trying to contact them for over two weeks for some specific information regarding our account/invoice and they have been terrible at responding. When they do respond they continue to give me information that I’m not asking for and just send me that same useless info each time. If it wasn’t for good customer service initially and the product working well for us I wouldn’t have even give them 2 stars!

Alpine has serviced our heating and air at our home a few times in the last few years. Service man James is awesome. He walked me through how and whys of the heating system, ordered a new part and got everything working while the part was shipped and he installed while we were at work.. recommended options for repairing or replacing worn out air conditioning service with fair estimates and no pressure advice. All in all very pleased with alpine!

First time using Alpine to double fix our furnace. The service individual was punctual, professional, and even liked my super-hyper dogs. After leaving we found out that our heating was still not working, so we called Alpine back and had the same service tech come by shortly after. Turns out we needed a new thermostat so he was able to quickly replace that. He took the time to show us how to use the thermostat, and even checked our air filter to let me know what size we use (our heating hasnt been working in quite a few years). Even though this was a short appointment, I was extremely impressed. Will absolutely work with them in the future. Thank you!

Ive had excellent service from Alpine on two occasions, and I highly recommend them.About six months ago they installed a ductless mini-split system for one room in our house not served by our main system. Their price was great, installation was smooth, and the mini-split has been working well.This weekend our main system heat pump broke. Brandon came out on Saturday, diagnosed the problem, and said they would see about getting a replacement part on Monday when their suppliers opened. On Monday, he returned with the necessary part and now everything is working great.Brandon is extremely friendly, very informative, and confidence-inspiring. I enjoyed chatting with him, and I came away from our two interactions knowing a lot more about how my system works. He seems to have a genuine joy in working with customers and addressing their concerns, including answering a ton of questions in my case.Drew (the owner) has also been great.

Great experience using Alpine for the first time on a furnace in a home we recently moved into. Office staff and tech were both easy to work with. I definitely felt like I was treated honestly and fairly throughout. The furnace problem was quickly identified and the part ordered. My tech was also able to show me features about the furnace that I didnt know about and I thought that was very helpful. My follow up to install the broken part was scheduled for the next day. I opted to have a new thermostat installed as well. Perfect knowledgeable, courteous service - right on price - and my home is warm again! My friend was having yearly inspection/maintenance on his heat pump. I recommended Alpine to him because I had used them before and they did a great job for me. They are great from the office staff, to repair people to owner. We were not disappointed this time. The repairmen were on time, kept us involved throughout the process, showed us how to use our thermostat, and explained the current status of our unit. They had to add freon which added to the cost of the call but even with this were less than other companies used in the past. Also, they will come back at no charge in 3 months to make sure everything is fine. Very happy with annual service call. Representative was on time and cleaned inside and outside units without getting any mud or dirt inside my house. Cleaned up the debris and put away the hose he used.Definitely recommend this company.

Drew the owner and the installers were amazing. I got a new HVAC unit installed after my compressor went bad. The expense was to much more than getting the compressor fixed. This is my third time working with Alpine. I bid out my unit with some other local companies and I couldnt be much happier with choosing Alpine. The quality product and diligence of the installation was great. The new salesman was a little much but overall the unit is much quieter and more efficient and the installation was top notch.
