(I think ALL companies that require an employee to have access to your property should do this.)He asked if I wanted him to wear a mask, as it was during the pandemic.James was friendly and PROFESSIONAL, let me know what he would be doing, and patiently answered all of my questions. As my heating unit runs on electricity and gas, he stressed the need to be sure my CO detector was always well maintained.The routine inspection and maintenance was done in no time, and I am very happy with Jamess timliness and professionalism.

Update - 08-18-2021After posting this review and a few other reviews on other sites, I was promptly connected to a manager and they quickly resolved the issue as we requested.06-22-2021Associated Heating and Air Conditioning sent a technician, James, to our house to check on issues with our AC unit not cooling the house properly. After a short period of time, he came the conclusion that we were low on refrigerant, and maybe we had a slow leak. He added 13 ounces of R 410 A to our system thinking this would resolve the issue. After doing so, the system still didnt seem to improve. After further investigation, he realized that he wasn’t testing in the proper locations. He realized that “he should have been testing at the return ducting”. Once he realized this was a better test, he found that the return ducting in our attic space was damaged and had a gaping hole in it. He advised us that this was the issue and that needed to be repaired. I immediately removed the interfering shelf in the attic so he could possibly repair the issue for us. James was still packing up his tools when I informed him that the interference was removed, hoping he could finish the job we asked him to do. He claimed he couldnt do it as I have been here too long. He said they would have to come back to repair this and for us to try to “patch it together in the meantime”. He didn’t remove the additional coolant as we later found out that he probably should have once he found the more probable issue.7-20-2021We returned from our vacation to find the AC performance hadn’t improved at all. James came back out and said “it looks like you did a good job repairing the hole”… he wasn’t going to do any more work on it. We asked him to please fix it up properly as Associated Heating and Air Conditioning would recommend. He “strapped the duct work and added more duct tape”. The system was STILL not performing to our satisfaction. We have never had this much problems cooling our house over the past 8 years. He felt that this AC unit “may be a little small for our house size”.7-22-2021After having to deal with warmer temps in the house we decided to try another company, Comfort Flow Heating and Air Conditioning, which was recommended by friends of ours. The technician came out and immediately found that the system seemed “out of balance”. She concluded that the system was “overcharged” with coolant. She removed coolant (approximately the same amount that James had put in on 6-22-2021) from the system (we were charged for this removal). Within 20 minutes of her doing this (while she was testing and checking other things) we noticed the AC had cooled the house to temperatures we were wanting. This was virtually an INSTANT change.We waited a week or so to make sure the AC was operating properly, and haven’t had an issue since.Once we felt the issue was resolved properly by Comfort Flow, we attempted to contact Associated Heating and Air Conditioning to get a refund for the refrigerant that James added. We don’t care about the amount that Comfort Flow charged us to remove the superfluous refrigerant… we would just like a refund for the coolant that James added (due to incorrect diagnostics).8-18-2021We have tried to get a response from someone regarding this matter with no luck.

I would have given five stars if Chad was the only technician we had review our system. He assessed our three Daikinductless systems thoroughly and competently. The first service technician, Max focused more on sales than service, later sitting in the company van while his trainee cleaned our units. After confronting him about this, he remained socially appropriate as the office staff did to my complaint. Our units were then about 9-10 degrees off of their remote settings after Max reset them after the cleaning. Before service, the remotes were no further off than 2-3 degrees Fahrenheit. When we called the office to have them reset more accurately (for the A1 service as advertised), their answers were all manner of excuses to pass the cost on to the customer. Frustration aside, service improved after much time spent on my unpleasant complaints and expectations that Associated Heating stand by their A1 service claim.

Jace and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and patient. They hit quite a few issues while replacing our existing ductless unit and heads, but they were quickly able to plan out a route to take to fix the issues and put in the extra work to do so without any hesitation. This was our second time using Associated Heating and Air Conditioning and we will definitely be back again should the need arise.

Chad is an amazing person; knowledgeable, polite, cheerful and helpful. He fixed my heating/AC system quickly while never rushing. He always had whatever he needed close at hand. Charles did a great job working on my mom’s heating and cooling system. Very personable and did a thorough job both inside and out. Associated has worked with my mom for many years and has worked with me to schedule appointments and generally handle issues that come up. We appreciate their quality service.

My 89 year old mother has been using them for a few years to do annual checks and maintenance. Under their $39 special for annual checks that they advertise to senior mobile home parks. Its an up sell scam!This last year they came out and after they left the heat pump wouldnt come on. She called their office and they were snarky and said well your unit is 12 years old. She explained it worked until they came out and they never turned it on before leaving. They repeated that her unit is just old and they can send someone out for $79. She called two additional times and was treated poorly. We called James today and the repair man said there was a wire that was disconnected that went to the float. He says it could have been an accident but if they had tested it and turned on the unit before leaving this would have been avoided. It cost $159 for this man to come out and fix what associated did and tried to charge more to come out and fix.Zero customer service and zero integrity! James heating was great service, quick and very polite. I highly suggest giving them a call and avoiding associated. They are taking advantage of the elderly and trying to rip people off!!!!!

Max did a great job with our maintenance. He is knowledgeable and provided excellent feedback on preventative maintenance. I highly recommend Associated Heating and Air, great service! They provided our initial install a couple of years ago as well and the team was great. They were able to install quickly working extra hours during February to ensure my family had heat. When there was a problem in this heat wave they got to us pretty quickly and they went the extra mile to make it right. I am very satisfied with the work performed by Associated Heating and Air Conditioning. We have a fairly large house, with a separate furnace and AC unit each for the upstairs and downstairs. This was a large, difficult job to install two gas furnaces and two AC units. Starting with the estimator, and continuing with the installers, I was impressed with the clear, regular communication and the professionalism. The cost was very competitive, but I believe the quality of the hardware was a cut above the other bids I received, and the warranty was also better than the competition.

Had records from the previous owner on the system from a decade ago and sent out a very communicative and kind technician for a tune up.Decided 6 months later to get a new HVAC System.I interviewed 5 other companies in town for a new HVAC system. Besides Alpine having locked up Costco, Lowes and Home Depot bids (I found out after signing up with each plus the person they sent was condescending and rude), Associated was hands down the best representation from start to finish AND came in about $3000 less with basically the same system perfect for our home size and a better warranty (including parts AND labor).Greg is the perfect guy to have up front. He was kind, courteous and had visuals and charts of a VARIETY of choices that fit our needs and budget. All the workers were friendly and got the job done with professionalism and no nonsense. Everyone of the five men on the day of installation had a specific job with Bryson as the lead. I could here them patiently and respectfully talking to each other, working out any issues that came up (due to my home) and several quick calls to a very organized office staff. They even have their own electrician who is working with the team. Thank you Associated! We love our new MUCH quieter system...

I ordered a new ductless system for my home and when they came to install it, they found a problem with the crawl space under my house... it didnt connect the way they thought it did. They ended up having to install more equipment than they had planned. It didnt cost me extra because they stuck to their original quote. Im not sure other companies would have done the same thing. Associated Heating and Air Conditioning stands by their word. That is golden!

So far its been a good experience, we are not on property to see the install yet, but trust that everything will work well when we’re back. Good communication with all employees and I’m sure the crew meant our expectations.

Associated Heating and Air Conditioning installed a gas forced air heater and a electric air conditioning. My appointment today was to check on all my equipment. The technician helped by putting arrows on my system so I could make sure to put my air filter in correctly. He also helped me with programming my thermostat which wasn’t easy. When it was initially put in I didn’t want it programmed yet. Great company and employees that are professional and provide a great system at a great value!

Dan was very pleasant even though I asked a lot of questions about my system. When he gave me his answers, he always made sure that I understood. He made sure that his tools were picked up and there was no mess when he left. He was clean and wore shoe coverings to protect my floor. He wore a mask for Covid 19 restrictions.

Ive used associated in the past for repairs for my hvac systems & considered them to be professional & knowledgeable. this summer my air conditioning went out, & my furnace was also in need of replacement. i had to wait awhile for the new installation, but considering the overwhelming rush of repairs due to the horrible heat wave, i felt they got to me in a reasonable amount of time. they did a great job, installing new units in 1 day & leaving my property w/brand spanking new units. i was very impressed w/their thoroughness & care for my property. i would not hesitate to recommend them & will use them in the future.

Our AC condenser drain line became plugged and I was unable to clear the blockage so I called associated. They were able to come out that same afternoon to remedy the problem. The technician Chad was very personable and professional and Ill certainly ask for him for our next service.

On the hottest night in local history, our HVAC system, installed by Associated Heating and Air Conditioning, stopped working and I called Associateds help line and left a message. After being initially told that the backlog of calls was (understandably) as long as 48 hours, but that established customers were being prioritized, I got a cheerful call from Tricia a couple hours later and learned that a foreman, Jason, had joined their effort to help sweltering customers. He was at our place in less than an hour and had us cooling back down in 15 minutes. From the initial bidding process to installation to routine maintenance and now this, I have never had more consistently great experiences with a company.

I called Associated Heating for a quote on a new heating and cooling system after my 22 year old furnace failed. Blake came to my home and was very attentive to my needs as we needed to add ducting to a new room as well. Our heat pumps outdoor compressor started squealing and howling and it was right outside pf our bedroom window! We called Associated Heating & Air, to get it fixed. We set an appointment to have a technician come out and see what the problem was.At the appointed day & time, the Associated Heating & Air technician, DAN, arrived and said that as soon as he opened the door of the van he could hear our Heat Pump making a big racket and he knew EXACTLY what the main problem was with it!DAN did a GREAT job of quickly and correctly identifying why our heat pump was making so much noise: a bad Fan Motor Bearing! Additionally, upon inspecting our unit, Dan found a couple of recalled circuit boards than needed to be replaced by updated ones.After waiting about a week and a half for the needed parts to arrive, we were called and an appointment was set for the repairs to be made.
