The experience that I have had with Kim its so incredible a lot of people own their business but they dont enjoy what they do and Kim is so professionally and she appreciates the job that she does for you I am so thankful that I go there as a man to take care of my feet ever since Ive been there Ive never changed to another person I recommend you she is very friendly and she gives a great massage on your feet trust me when I say that she takes care of everybody the same nobodys different cuz my wife goes there with me

Having moved to San Diego after many years in San Francisco, I was on the look out for a great place to get my nails done. I tried four different places in Escondido and wasnt happen with any of the experiences. I refused to settle for a mediocre salon so I did some searching online and I found Kims nail salon which happened to be Escondido, and I am so happy that I did.The nail salon is a clean and comfortable environment. Not only is Kim great at doing nails and uses top quality products whether its the nail polish or the lotion she uses, but she has a great personality and makes her clients feel special and valued. She goes out of her way to ensure I am happy with my nails and lets me know I can always call her after if theres a problem and she will fix it no charge. So far I havent had to take her up on this but I love that she offers.Kim and her salon are special so I encourage anyone looking for a good nail person in the Escondido or San Diego area to go here. She even texts you the day before your appointment to confirm. I love it!Two big thumbs up!

Kim works alone and pays strict attention to her clients(me) needs. All business and very friendly. She listens, teaches you about your nails and good health and her fee is reasonable. Her shop is small, intimate, clean and inviting. I have had a manicure. I bring my wife and my96 yr old mother, who loves to come and see Kim. She is pampered with a manicure and pedicure and can’t wait to come back! Recommend her highly. Enjoy your time there. Must make a reservation because she works alone by choice.

I didnt know of a nail salon in Escondido, so I googled it. The first one I found was Kim and I gave her a call on Thursday. She was so nice on the phone and was trying to accommodating my 14 year old daughter. Homecoming is today(Sat), so we didnt have much time. After she explained the process she does and the material she uses, I was really impressed. This was going to be my daughters first time getting nails and of course I wanted her to have a good experience with it all. Kim did an excellent job and my daughter is so happy! We made an appointment for the next time even if she doesnt get the nails on(shes on the dance team for high school, so they cant really wear nails), Kim will be doing upkeep on Alysias own nails. She works inside of a beautiful hair salon and everything was nice and clean. Kim welcomed us with a great big smile, offered me coffee, explained each step to Alysia, had the perfect color polish and tips that my daughter wanted. At the end, she gave us a big hug! I have gone to Kim several times now and have felt very comfortable with her. She is very warm and welcoming. I have had difficulty keeping acrylic nails because they always pop off and this is the first time in 3 decades that I havent had that problem! She uses a superior product I am told, and it works! Im super stoked and will keep coming back.

She is so sweet. Went in yesterday was able to get in on a same day call and she even stayed after hours just to do my nails!!

Personal service and calm atmosphere. Kim provides a one-on-one nail care experience that is a welcome break from the typical busy nail salons. We made sure to make an appointment because Kim seems to always be very busy. We will be back for sure in the near future.

Kim saves my nails . They didn’t were horrible & thick. Looked very cheap and ghetto. She took her time to remove them & put on a whole new set that looks absolutely beautiful . 100% will not be going to anyone else as long as I’m in California .

Kim is amazing! My toe nails are always hurting and after going to her, she takes out the skin buildup and help my feet feel less painful! I always feel relaxed and she always ensures you are comfortable and enjoying your experience. I dont mind the 30-35 min drive because of the excellent customer service and quality work Kim provides.

Nails By Kim Chau was recommended to me by a good friend in Escondido. Kim is very professional, did a great job on my gel manicure, and my toes are looking and feeling great after the pedicure. Kim is attentive, nice, friendly and communicative. She made recommendations and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before starting. I will go see her again.

This was my second visit here and I have definitely struggled going to other places and they never fix the ingrown issue once they are injured it takes a professional or doctor to try and fix it. So Kim knows what she’s doing! So they are improving :) not walking around in pain. also gel finger nails were done well. I work with my hands a lot so nice to see pretty color while I work. Great place to relax or talk and Kim your awesome don’t believe anything else.. sometimes what ppl want just isn’t possible. I’ve been to enough places to know this she knows what she’s doing!Thanks again! ;-)

Kim is professional and you wont get any of the usual pushy up-selling like with most nail places. She uses quality gel polish that doesnt leave your nails dry and damaged underneath. I highly recommend her!

The store is run by one very kind woman. Ive been going once a month for nearly a year with my grandfather and Ive always been pleased. Kim has done a great job everytime which is exactly why we keep coming back!

Unfortunately didnt have a good experiene here. Kim Chau was seemingly upset throughout my whole manicure and when i made a suggestion in regards to my nails she stated that she wasnt finished yet and yanked my hand towards her. She then afterwards tried to sell me overpriced hand lotion in attempts to remedy her poor behavior. I will never be going there again. My nails were thick and bumpy.
