I was recommended this location and Aleida by a friend and I was not disappointed. It was my first experience having a brazilian wax done and Aleida went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and making it as painless as possible. I’ve been to her several times since and the experience is always phenomenal. She’s funny and very personable which puts you at ease as well as doing an exceptional job every time with the actual waxing service. I highly recommend her and will continue going back to her for as long as possible.

I’m so happy I found this place. Aleida was the best wax specialist I’ve been to hands down. I’ve tried other European Wax Centers in the area and I’ve never had such a pleasant experience like I did here. She is gentle and very thorough. The most painless Brazilian wax I think I’ve ever had. She made me feel extremely comfortable. You can tell she cares a lot about her work and her clients. I don’t plan on going anywhere else. Their employees are not informed about policies of products but they push employees to sell products that they don’t have information about. I purchased a product asking about it come to find out that the information that was given was incorrect and they would not allow me to return the product due to Covid. I asked for store credit or any discounts toward a next service due to their lack of information to their customer and they did not accommodate in anyway. That is a poor reflection on this location, the staff, and the manger because clearly everyone should be informed and educated about everything that has to do with the company if they are an employee

My first experience was with Aleida, and she is absolutely wonderful. She is the only technician/specialist I go to and will ever go to. Aleida is always a pleasure and super friendly. I feel very comfortable with her and she always makes sure I am happy with the results before I leave. Whether it is your first time or you are returning, make sure to book with her - and in advance because she is well-liked and for good reason!! I have a EWC right underneath my building but purposely go to Englewood to see Aleida.

I got my eyebrows done and the waxer burnt my skin. I now have two giant scars under my eyebrows. I pay the high price at EWC to avoid any mistakes when it comes to my face. I am completely disappointed and upset with how I look now. I called the store immediately and was not able to reach anyone, so I left a message and have yet to hear back from them for several hours. It’s very unprofessional.

This is my favorite place to come and get waxed! Out of all the places I have been to they really know how to make you feel comfortable which I find is super important! Jennifer at the front desk is very easy going! I love her! Every time I walk in for a quick underarm she always seems to squeeze me right in! As well as Kayla! Those two ladies are such great people. Love the staff, their all so friendly and helpful. And they definitely get the job done! Cant wait to go back!!

Wonderful, warm atmosphere at European Wax Center. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable throughout your visit. All my questions were answered in an insightful manner. The first time I went? Great Experience, Tania walked me through the whole process since it was my first time. She was friendly, but kept it so professional. She gave me guidelines, gave me realistic expectations, the whole 9! She was amazing. BUT the second time not so much, Reena was Friendly, but I felt like she was rushing. It didnt help that she told me how long shes been in the game, for me to get home and find left over wax all over me ! Other than that my checkout was smooth, front desk ladies were pleasant. Id recommend this place, but not without having the person you want to do your wax in mind. Not every professional gives professional results.

DO NOT sign up for their waxing packages they will keep your card number on file and charge you for services not rendered. When you ask to speak to the manager they will tell you the manager is not in every single time. I had to cancel the card they had on file because they kept on trying to charge me for services i did not receive. On top of that when I call to get a refund the non existent manager needs to approve it but the manager is never there. Go anywhere but here!!!

I have been coming here for a few years. The receptionists are sweet, professional and accommodating. I have worked with a variety of techs, and they have all been great. I had to reschedule my appointments a few times, but the receptionists have always been super accomodating and will reschedule without issues.

I alway do the Brazilian with different people but she did the back strip which really surprised. Aleida did a great job 🥰 definitely going back to her

This was my second time getting a Brazilian. The first time was not the greatest experience. I opted to automatically look into a different location and chose here @ Englewood. I have to say this was the best experience ever! I was welcomed right away with such a pleasant receptionist, she was so kind and attentive. I was greeted by my specialist Aleida L. I have to say I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE! She was beyond nice. A total sweetheart. Made me feel so comfortable and really knew how to make me feel at ease. She was so professional, lovely, fast and a perfectionist at what she does!! She made the experience as least painful as possible. Please ask for Aleida! She is wonderful!

They are honestly so unprofessional. They sold me a $500 package that was placed on 3 separate payments that I later decided that wasn’t going to work out for me due to how they DONT remove everything, leaving you having to go more frequent. When i called on the phone to cancel before I got charged the the 2 other times they gave me the run around and cut me off quick that a manager will give me a call. She never reached or proceeded with my request i had to call another 4 times and it was the same thing all 4 times. Its honestly so disappointing you pay so much money for poor work and customer service. This location is honestly the worst, i will not be coming here any longer. At the end of the day i got charged everything automatically and still waiting on a call from their retarded manager. Not worth wasting your time and energy in this place.

I’ve gone to EWC for a while now and with my busy schedule my appointment times and days change a lot but Aleida is the best so convincingly I always feel comfortable with her even when I change my appointments 100 times she’s very calm and casual about it. I’m usually in and out in 10-15 minutes which is amazing .

Clean facility. Friendly staff. Marcia was very friendly, funny, perfectionist, and made me feel comfortable. I came in for an underarm wax which was a pleasant experience. I usually do my bikini waxes at the Edgewater location but now that I feel somewhat comfortable with her, I may make this location my main base for all my waxong needs, especially since its closer to my home.

Not my favorite place to go but its a necessity! Clean place, friendly environment, estheticians that get the job done, and customer service that sounds a bit robotic but pleasant. My only real complaint is that when they try to sell their products, it often appears as though theyre shoving it down your throat which can be a bit annoying. And during my last visit (roughly 3 weeks ago) one of the customer service ladies seemed to be trying way too hard to please folks. She sounded like a robot instead of sounding genuine....definitelynot a deal breaker but its something I did pick up on. As for the estheticians, Ive tried to stick with one over the years but due to my crazy schedule, thats impossible. Going to any of them works for me as its all still painful, lol! I frequent 2 locations in different states as its convenient for me at times. Again, no real complaints and regardless of how painful it is initially, I will continue to go out of necessity!
