Ive been coming to this shop since I moved to the area in 2007, so Ive naturally known Linda, her late husband, and her boys (whove taken over). Theyre exceptional! Some may deem the prices to be expensive, but I beg to differ as they are extremely attentive to each customer and take care in grooming folks. Im glad that theyve survived the pandemic as I will continue to frequent them as long as they remain open. And, they are very rigorous with their safety protocols, providing masks for each customer. I also like how I can now book my appointment in advance.

The best haircut Ive gotten in years, these guys remember you by name and the exact cut you want. So stoked they survived the pandemic. If youre in Leucadia and need a cut, head in! Although Id recommend booking on Booksy in advance because they fill up quick

If you aren’t getting you’re haircut here, you’re wrong. These guys are the BEST! You can tell they truly care about giving each and every customer a great haircut, and they are as talented or more than any other barber! Like previous reviews said, this isn’t one of those corporate salons that churn out average haircuts. You’re going to get a quality haircut, good conversations, and you’ll leave there looking forward to your next haircut.

Great barbershop because of great barbers. Love these guys, especially now that they do by appointment only. If you want a fresh cut, with great guys in a relaxed barbershop environment, this is your place. This isnt a supercuts, so dont expect that. They take their time, we all enjoy our conversation and you leave each time with a perfect haircut for you.I went through 4 different barbershops before I settled on this one. Recommend 100%.

My entire family loves this place! Great local barber shop that we are proud to have in our community. They consistently take such pride in their cuts and the line out the door Friday afternoons should tell you this is THE place to be! This is a family owned shop and youll be taken care of here. My son especially likes when Emiliano cuts his hair as they first met at the skate park but everyone here does a great job.

Old school barber shop with a new gen vibe. Youll go in and have barber shop chats with staff and clients just like you see in the movies. Clients are nearly 100% men (young and old). Its like going back in the day. Many other shops are lightly attended - but this has a big local vibe to it and is always busy and people waiting which allows for the great banter. Highly recommended Encinitas and Leucadia flavor. Rare.

A very unique, tight-knit crew of barber artisans comprised of young surfers and skaters that loyally take their cue from the matriarch owner. They are good at their trade, passionate, operate with a great sense of humor and embrace their customers. Your visit here is part of the Leucadia “experience” and will have you returning!

The best haircut I have ever received, hands down. I was going through the area and had heard this place was amazing. The stories really do hold up, the staff is super chill and sociable and their cuts are done with precision. The level of detail on my fade was like something I had never had before, they did many run troughs to make sure it was perfect. They offered me drinks for free and had TV and good conversation; if I am ever back in the area, I know where to go for a haircut.

This place is great. They really take their time and do a great job. The shop is very small but has a good vibe. I am knocking a start because they do not take appointments and when I was there they had a super long wait. I waited just over an hour. I really just dont have enough free time to spend 2 hours total getting my hair cut. I will be finding another barber shop because of that. If you have the time though, this place is good.

I love this place. Ive been going here for 6 or 7 months now and have seen just about everyone in there. They all do a great job. Prices are fair and the wait isnt usually too long when its busy.

The place may be a little worn on the outside, but on the inside, there are welcoming barbers that have been giving me great haircuts. If you want a fade, this place is the place to go. Simply amazing.

Only barber shop I frequent as a regular. All the barbers are great and know what they are doing. Right by the ocean and some great restaurants! Sam and Emiliano are my two go-tos for fades and line ups. Can get busy and parking can be a little tricky, but it isnt too troublesome.

Its kind of a hit or miss, my husband is still trying to get the feel for this place. The only reason we keep coming is because Oceanside is a stretch

I was just there 10 minutes ago.. i got a haircut by the 3rd barber there he was in so much hurry to go home he wouldnt stop looking at hes watch ... My line up looks horrible he didnt even use the raiser blade .. also friends from the first barber by the door said one real bad comment about LOOKING ALL MEXICAN in a bad way saying sorry right after ... and I paid 20 over priced Ill said ... never going back there again ...

New to the area from upstate NY. I have gotten cuts from Juan, Linda, and Ronaldo. Very impressed with everyones attention to detail. Even with customers waiting they stay focused and give a quality, finely detailed cut every time. Price is very reasonable and I always end up tipping around 40%, simply because I am beyond satisfied. The shop is small, which is nice because you can converse and not have to yell. Very talented group of barbers.*To the very first review - who gets their haircut only on Sundays??? Sounds like procrastination on your part. Sport Clips is open on Sundays though....

Went in on a Sunday, and was out of there within the hour. Very detailed, amazing service. Every time I get a haircut from Pix, I get non-stop compliments. Another benefit is after I get my cut and look fresh, I go to the bar next door and all the bartenders and girls are nice and flirtatious. I highly recommend this spot if youre looking to chill with some rad dudes, get an amazing haircut and enjoy the rest of your day in the Leucadia/Encinitas area. Best Leucadia or Encinitas Barber Shop around, by far.
