Nice and clean place, got a quick haircut. Feel like she cut off a little too much and fade is a little off set. The shop was clean and they did a great job sanitized after each guess. So a solid 4 star. Make sure you call for appointment, avoid the waiting. This place place get decent traffics.

American Deluxe Barber Shop is the cheapest one I found in Encinitas before Christmas. I got a nice haircut and experience for $20 which is not too expensive. The other ones were between $30-$55. The personal is friendly and we had a fun conversation together. The place is clean and looks modern. It was not too busy and I was not waiting in a line. Strongly recommend this place.

Had nothing but great cuts here for over a year while I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. Ann, Rico, Patrick, Wes, and any other of the barbers do great cuts and great fades. Such a friendly group of people! 🤘🏻

They told me they were closed at 3:40 PM. The person that walked in in front of me took a chair and they ask me to leave. I have been getting my haircut there for many years but will go somewhere else in the future.

I always get a really great haircut here. Never been disappointed. All the barbers are awesome. If there is a wait, it is worth it.

Ive been going here for about 2 years now. Theyre clearly open and there were 2 barbers in there. Upon entering I saw 2 people sitting in the chairs with no masks just texting and talking. They then both looked at me and said that they were closed. One of the men told me he was the only one working and theyre closed so he wont see me. I asked why are you closed (its 2:23 and the sign says open). He tells me, rudely, to leave and he wont be cutting my hair. When I close the glass door and look back, he sat back down, took his mask off and went back on his phone. I hope he isnt getting paid hourly to sit there with his friend and tell me to leave. I wont be coming back. And the person with him was obviously not a customer. His mask was off and they were messing around with one another. You have lost my business. Please look into the employee there today. Wish I would have got his name.

Gus is an exceptionally good barber and better human being. His attention to detail is next level and has given me tons of good advice on how to shape my beard (never really grown mine out before) Prices are right where they should be, maybe even a bit on the cheaper side. Had the worst experience in this barbershop. The people who works there look professional but they are far from that. (No all of them). Firts time costumer.No greeted when I entered, confused where or to whom to go or talk to. Finally someone called me rising his arm up and everything went down hill.My hair is always short, how can you missed up a short hair? Attention to detail doesn’t exist or they have no accountability for their job. How can you leave your client leaving the shop with all the lose hair all over the face. I was embarrassed in how I was treated and how my haircut was done. I could not wait to get out of that place. Paid $21 plus $3 tip ( gave small tip just for courtesy).Who manage this place? Website is pretty basic, not really helpful.Please do your research before get your hair cut done by mediocre employee.

Sunshine did my husbands hair and its honestly never looked so good! She was super knowledgeable and friendly. This barber shop definitely know what they are doing.

This is a very popular place for the right reasons! My husband comes here since before I met him. Hes always looking sharp! His last visit he took our boy...almost two years old. Lets just say that this place is not very kid friendly. But its excellent for adults.

Great cuts... Decent price ($21/cut)... Only downside is its cash only. Very inconvenient to those of us living in a increasingly cashless world.

Been going here for a few years, usually pay 15-20$ ( i have a lot of hair). this time i paid 25$ and the barber was on and off his phone; i like my cut but it seemed like he was distracted. Unfortunately i will go to a different barber next time.

ALL the barbers at ADB know how to cut. You dont have to sit in a queue for the first or second chair. Ive never waited for more than 15 minutes and always walk out with a good looking do. My hair is really course and tends to get out-of-control bushy after just a couple weeks. Cuts from the ADB barbers keep me looking sharp well past 4 weeks. Thanks for the great service!

First time coming here, I got this one lady barber, I thought she knew what she was doing, I asked for a mid fade with a lined up in the front.... I got a high n tight hair cut..... when I was there I was so embarrassed with the hair cut that I just wanted to pay and leave... I will not go back... Id rather spend 20 bucks at Super cuts and get a horrible cut from them.... atleast they listen

Weve visited the Encinitas and Oceanside locations and always have a good experience. You can request a barber-we never do (and some barbers cut better than others) but the experience is always a good one, theyre always efficient but dont rush, and they play good music

First time I got a bad haircut here. Chick asked me how I wanted my hair then totally disregarded my instructions. Cut my hair like I am in military. Shaved off my sideburns and cut my hair so short on my neck I have a 2 inch white stripe! She was clueless and I am bummed.
