I brought my vehicle in here because it was overheating. I requested a diagnostic be done to determine the exact cause of the overheating, and how much it would cost to repair it. I never received a true diagnostic, as none was performed on my vehicle. Instead, Mr. Torres went ahead and replaced the water pump, called me, and told me the car is ready and fixed. I went to pick it up, but it was NOT ready. They did NOT fix the problem, as it was still overheating. Then they kept it a few more days and replaced the radiator, and said again...Its ready, come pick it up. I did, but the car was still overheating! Second time, and they still had not cured the problem. Then they said I needed a new battery, which I purchased from them as well. By now, I had spent at least $1300 dollars! But still my vehicle is overheating. Why didnt they just perform the proper diagnosis in the first place like I asked them to??? Instead, they just GUESSED at the problem (which is still not fixed) and charged me an arm and a leg for a bunch of parts and labor, which failed to fix the problem. Mr. Torres, do you and your team know what youre doing? Thanks to you, Ive wasted $1300 and still dont have a vehicle that works. Oh BTW, the new battery you installed doesnt work either.

My elderly Asian father who barely speaks English was taken advantage of by this place. This happened last year. He brought in his truck to have his A/C fixed. They made my parents wait all afternoon, then said they have to order parts. They paid $847.00 to have the a/c compressor changed, expansion device, A/C service and 3 other things. The next day, my parents brought it back saying it wasn’t working. They kept telling them “nothing is wrong.” My parents finally gave up. We got the truck to get it fix and the mechanic said nothing that was on the receipt was done! The A/C compressor was so old! I have pictures and receipts since we will be filing a claim in court for this. You took an advantage of an elderly couple and did nothing. My mother had medical appointments such as her chemo and they couldn’t use the truck. I will be speaking to you soon I’m sure once you get serve.

This is the kinda place that will fix the wrong thing in the car and it not fix your original problem then over charge u...I only go there cuz its close to home....

I took my BMW 7 series for service. The professionalism and kindness of Mr. Torres was exceptional. My vehicle had a coolant leak and also a vacuum leak. Thanks to Super 5 I saved around $1200 that I would have paid BMW dealership. I am so grateful and will continue to bring my cars here. My mom took her 1999 yukon to fix the AC and overcharged for parts found much cheaper online. Conartist is what they are at best, they kept guessing and replacing parts and she kept taking the truck back many times. At the end she ended up paying 780.00 with no AC and wanted to charge an extra 445.00 to replace compressor. Why not replace it at the beginning? Totally disgraceful cheat, also did not refund my moms hard working money. She paid almost 800.00 and nothing was fixed. Will report to BBB.if I could put 0 stars i would. I have taken all three of my vehicles here, I have been happy with service and value that they warranty their work .

They overcharge, don’t have your car ready on time, and when they ‘’fix’’ it it will have the same problem again a couple days later. Other car shops’ estimates are almost half of what this con-artist charges. And when my car showed the exact same error code again a couple days after it was ‘’fixed’’, they didn’t even fix it for free because of warranty, but charged another couple hundred dollars.Let me just say this: When you first drop off your car and someone has a whole monologue rehearsed about how they’re not a scammer, they’re probably a scammer.

My boyfriend used to work here and he told me the owner will recommend services that people don’t need. Or that he charges a certain price for parts but has something cheaper installed. He left as soon as he found out what they do to the customers.

Great service and customer care. I highly suggest that anyone who needs there vehicle inspected or fixed come to this place. Prior to coming here I stopped at pep boys and they sucked so bad and were super rude so I left. Here I was treated with respect and taken care of. The price was amazing in comparison to what other places wanted to charge me. Im in the military and they took that into consideration and applied a military discount which really helped since I just got stationed here and money is a bit tight. I can assure that for the remainder of my time here in El Paso if I ever have any issues with my vehicle this is the first and last place I will ever need to stop. I hope this helps anyone looking for a place to get their vehicle checked.

Took my car for an oil leak. A week later, my car was in the same exact spot, in the same exact way I parked it when I dropped it off. Owner tells me it will cost $500 to fix the oil leak because it was most likely leaking from the rear engine seal and would have to take the transmission down for that. Apparently, they diagnosed it before even looking at it. He did acknowledge not looking at it but because of their experience, they knew already. I don’t think so. I picked up my car immediately. When I picked it up, the owner tried to play it off by telling me he was going to make sure his mechanic put all the parts back in my car. Little did he know I was right outside the shop by my car. It’s hard to find a good mechanic these days that won’t try to jack you for your money. Smh

Went in for transmission issues. After about 2 hours of looking at it, I get a quote of 2000.00 to replace my transmission. Another option was to rebuild. I drove it home to think it over. Well it was a simple fix. I added 2 quarts of oil. Their master mechanic over looked the obvious. You decide. Get a second opinion.

I took my 1997 Jeep Cherokee for a transfer-case repair. Transfer-case was engaging and disengaging once it encounter terrain resistance. They charge me more than $800 to change the chain and oil pump. I used the vehicle once and it went back to do the same symptoms. Took it back to super five and the manager said he believe there was issues but because he could not replicate the symptoms there was nothing he was able to do. They test the vehicle on the asphalt and by lifting the vehicle on a lifter. Both of these methods did not put any friction/resistance on the tires; consequently, no issue was encounter. The parts have warranty, but he did not approve to open the transfer-case for review. I assume he did not want to invest time and labor on revising if the work was done properly. This was my experience on Super 5 Auto service. It is my opinion that this shop does no have the expertise, but they take the job anyway. They charge as an expert, but do not delivered the work related to how much they charge. I am not interested on dealing with this shop again in my life. Watch out and have a nice day!

Just left Quality Tire and had problems with my ABS system. Put a scanner on drove the car and idd the problem. Told him I could probably do it myself and he said thats fine but if you need anything else done please come back. Oh by the way no charge for the scanner. Havent been treated buy a mechanic and a long time like he treated me.in

5/12/20 took my wifes car to get AC fixed was quoted 1400 dollars plus 70 to diagnose, picked up car took it to Chelmont Auto on Montana got a call on !513/30 car is ready total bill was 800 big difference this guy has Covid 19 in the head

Replaced a front wheel bearing using a hammer, didnt reconnect the ABS censor, ultimately bearing was not seated correctly so it damaged the hub and had to be fixed by the dealer for an additional $500.00. Would not honor their own warranty. I am a truly unhappy customer.Update: Contacted the gentleman below, spent a very long time explaining all the details. No further contact. Yes, they seemed super concerned about making the situation right.

We service all of our company vehicles at Super 5 on George Dieter, never a problem. We’ve only had one warranty in years and the manager had no problem taking care of it. They keep records of our vehicles and provide all documents necessary for our company when we request them.

Mr. Torres and his staff are HONEST,Professional and Friendly! I came to hey my A/C serviced another place told me my compressor was leaking and it would cost me $1000 to fix. Super 5 located the leak to a $20 valve. They have earned a customer for life in me. Please come here just check them out you will not be disappointed.

Took my car in to have left upper control arm and ball joint, front brakes with front rotors turned and wheel alignment done. We were charged $481.00. When I drove away the car continued to pull in the exact same manner as when I dropped it off. I drove back immediately and they took the car back in. I waited again for over an hour as they kept driving my vehicle and bringing it back. The owner Mr.Torres told me the alignment could not be done on my car because my frame was bent and that it would cost me over $300 to send it out and get it diagnosed. He said he guaranteed that the wheels were straight and that it would not waste tires. After driving it in the highway, my left front tire popped, after buying new tires at Discount Tire the car got worse, shakey and pulled unpredictable to both sides. Took it to Brake Masters, they diagnosed with computer alignment and found that all 4 wheels were severely unaligned. The front had a severe toe and the jam nuts were loose causing my tire to pop, which he guaranteed would not happen. The car was left perfectly aligned by Brake Masters and my frame is not bent. After going back to Super 5 to request a refund per my guarantee the owner Mr. Torres refused to look at the computer print out from Brake Masters, he called me a liar about my popped tire, and even denied talking to me about guaranteeing the job. He then tells me Im trespassing and locks me out. I called the police and while waiting I noticed the mechanic doing alignments was eyeballing with no computer. After the police talked to him he realized he could be liable for much more and was a big safety issue. He robbed the wrong person and offered to refund my $70 alignment.

My truck was over heating and charge me and didnt fix it. When l took it back the man got really mad. I think he just takes peoples many and dont fix there vehicles.Be careful if you go there.

This people will charge you even if they havent done anything to your vehicle. My dad was charged $200 just for a diagnose... You Fricking Thieves...

Never go there. Was quoted one price then when job was done was charged a completely different price(much higher) conveniently, after he tried to take my truck to his house for the night, i told him no and after that he raised the price on me.

This place is super good, reliable honest, fairpricing. My car ran really good after he fixed it. It needed a lot of work and he had it ready in 5 days.

Charged 200 to test and recharge ac and didnt even test the system. Had an obvious leak air only lasted 1 day and they dont garantee their work. Had it replaced else where.

Weve used them several years now. Never had any issues. They are quick and prices are competitive. Your vehicle will usually be back to you the same day.

Went in asked for an estimate on what is wrong with vehicle. Started the work without giving me an estimate or even calling me to tell me what was wrong with my car. Then they wanted to charge me to put the piece back together. Then try to charge me higher prices than what I found online for average price. Then they charge a hazmat fee which was not mentioned to me either either. If u go in, ask for a written statement that its only an estimate and no work to be done until u sign. I have dealt with other auto shops and I have never had anyone do any work with out contacting me. I will stick to the other places.

This place is on the expensive side. I got a wheel bearing done here and it was pricey but I needed it done that day so I paid it. Now month later I called to see how much it would cost for them to install new ( bigger ) pinion gears in the rear diff and they quoted me at 700 in labor. Thats ridiculous the job should take any longer than 2 hours. So why are you charging 7 plus hours of labor.

Steer clear from this place. Incorrectly diagnosed my a/c issue and STILL charged me for a the diagnosis and to supposedly fix a small leak. Manager went on to tell me it was my a/c compressor after he charged me 220.00 and would not refund any part of it. My a/c was left in the same exact condition as when I brought it in. Mananger told me hed give me a credit if I took my car in to get the issue fixed correctly next time. Very dissatisfied with this place!

Most incompetent mechanics Ive ever dealt with. Took my car in with a simple leak and ened up having to replace the engine after they worked on it. They should stick to lube and break jobs, real mechanic work is out of their league.

Mechanics used the wrong tools to do the job and left abs sensor unhooked. Had to take it back to get it put back together correctly. A month later wheel bearing went bad again. Took it to dealership and was told initial install was done wrong. Went back to the shop to try to get a refund and was told basically it was all my fault.

I was charged $ 710 for being there for a week and there was nothing ... I brought it and what I leave worse .. owner charged me $ 710 and the car was worst, I have changed some parts without permission :( and my car still does not work :( I robed me with $ 710 for doing nothing 😭

HORRIBLE SERVICE !! Went for a leak, they changed water pump, got charged $ 512.00 took 3 days to be ready. After 5 minutes driving my car it was leaking again. So, problem was worst. I took it back to the shop and said Leave the car for one more hour and will be ready, lets get the air that was left After seeing that there was water behind where the pump goes, I wanted to charge $ 700.00 for disarming and guessing what my car had plus what he believed my car had. Total, my car lasted in the workshop for a week and it came out worse.Very liar, dishonest, gandallón and all other synonyms of thief. Ah! And he said he was not a fortune teller.If possible, I would give it ZERO star.

Horrible service, bad mechanics, a lot of lies, high prices and they give you your car worse than how you wear it, they do not guarantee anything they are not responsible, the worst service of my life, you take it for one thing they talk to you and it turns out that other things the car does not compose it and they make stupid excuses. Dishonestly I think I will put a lawsuit in court, I do not recommend it and check well there are more bad comments than good here. El Paso do not need this people.
