Needed a full vacuum, recharge, and check for leaks on my AC, and fix my heater control valve and Moroni and team knocked it out same day, just a few hours, and-oh-by-the-way very reasonable price. This man is an expert. Period. I tend to do all the work on my Beems (as far as my tools will allow) because I am very very picky and have trust issues... he made me feel at home, the work comes with warranty, and its obvious he knows EVERYTHING about our machines. Not to mention, he has an innate desire to explain everything about your issues...like a teacher of sorts. Excellent work all around!P.S I even got a cool tour around the shop!
This is a great shop. Its always hard to find a good mechanic but I believe I found mine here. I liked that from the initial call, Andrew was very friendly and attentive. Also had a chat with Moroni and he was very knowledgeable and you can tell hes a person that cares about the quality of the work. They had my car ready quickly and the job was well done.
I hardly post reviews but this place deserves it. Ive brought my car here 3 different times for repairs on my BMW M6 V10 which can be difficult car to work on. First time I needed a seal replaced in the differential which was leaking when I first bought my car. Second time I needed a park distance control sensor replaced. And today was actually the third time I took it to get both my throttle actuators replaced. Prices are reasonable depending what repairs are youre getting. I know for the differential seal I was charged over $400 at Moronis while some other shops were charging just slightly over $300. However the labor for the throttle actuators I was charged $350 for both and programming at Moronis while other shops were quoting me $600 to $700 for both of them. I dont even know how much the dealership would have charged me... nor do I want to know the astronomical number it would have been.... Just an FYI I found out that in the El Paso area I found Moronis to be the cheapest as far as labor costs to getting your throttle actuator replaced. If you know what repair is needed call several shops in the El Paso area so you can compare the pricing as far as labor costs goes. I dont have experience with other shops but I can tell you if you decide to take your car here even its a few bucks more than other shops I guarantee you wont regret it! 👍 Theyre very great and friendly people and if its your first time there they show you around the shop which is a beautiful shop! Jennifer is in charge of the front desk. She will get you pricing ASAP and will give you a time frame of how long it will take. Moroni is a very good and honest mechanic and knows what hes doing. If he finds something else while repairing your vehicle he will call you directly and ahead of time to see if you want to replace that component. He will not go through and replace something you did not authorize. He waits for your authorization whether its a yes or no. I know from experience because when he was replacing my throttle actuators he found a torn hose that goes connected into throttle body and called me to see if I authorized that repair and I said yes. If he could work on a BMW M6 V10 which is a car that a lot of people know is VERY difficult to work on, he could work on any BMW Series without a problem.
Maroney beamers is out of business the owner passed away.
Well I had the worst experience. My daughter took her car to get painted and repaired and all I can say is, that it was the worst experience we have ever dealt with. First of all, they kept her car for over 2 months with no communication unless we called. Then was told it would be ready and then change the date. Her battery, speaker and license plate went missing. Til this day we still havent been reimbursed for any of it and the car was left in horrible condition. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Hard lesson learned. If I can give them 0 stars I would.
Honest and trustworthy BMW certified mechanic. I took my BMW 328i Xdrive to get reprogrammed and a new computer, came out a little more than I thought but the car runs great. They also washed and corrected minor details on the car. Way more realistic pricing than the dealership. Highly recommend this Business.
Had my transmission done, and did a good job. The only thing I will complain on is that my navigation cd was stolen from my vehicle. It was delivered with my GPS working and received it without no navigation now. I did call and let them know and was told that it was not stolen. Sad to say some workers make the business look bad. To have this navigation cd replaced will be 500 from BMW. Thanks maroni establishment. And thanks for not returning g my call after patiently waiting. I will be posting g this to 915 on blast on facebook.0z
Went to my engine fixed & Moroni used a bolt to block inside of hose worst experience.
Sad to say, I went and they are shutting down the business. Its always been the spot you took your BMW if it had issues without having to go to the dealership. Sad 😥
Excellent service. I highly recommend all my customers to Maronis BMW Specialist.
Moroni is a very good mechanic an still to this day helps my husband an i with our cars, an very reasonable prices . We don’t trust nobody with our cars but moroni
After feeling robbed by BMW of El Paso, a . These guys were respectful, honest, precise and had standards you would expect from a dealership maintenance dept. Best of all is their labor rate was reasonable. It was indeed a relief after I exceeded my mechanic limitations and technical understanding of the car. Simply put, I highly recommend them and they now have a loyal customer.PS. They only use BMW certified parts and trained techs.... hint!
Great service! Moroni an honest man and bmw is running well. He explained every issue with the car and fixed every problem with an inexpensive price
They were so great. I had to get my mini towed to them because it was completely dead. I had my car worked on at the Mini of El Paso, then 3 days later it dies. They fixed right up quickly and not too expensive. And they fixed a light bulb for free too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back for future repairs and maintenance.
Took my X5 in and I was in a hurry and needed it maintenanced for a long trip. Moroni got it back to me quick and made sure he looked over everything so I wouldn’t have any problems. I won’t take my BMW anywhere else. Great service overall!!
These guys went above and beyond. I run a German repair garage, and was out of town visiting family. I found them online, and was in there early on the Friday after Thanksgiving. They promptly diagnosed my issue, and informed me they could not get a replacement part until Monday. I hate paying retail anyway, since I run a shop and usually get wholesale prices. The staff diligently looked through a few parts cars, and even around the shop, and at the last minute before they were supposed to close, found a good used working unit for my car. I made it home safely, and am very grateful for the help of Cesar and Jacob, as well as their technicians. I feel I was treated fairly, promptly, and was given class A service on short notice. This is the place to go if you love your BMW or other German car, as they take great pride and car in their work. Thanks again.
Honest fair and pleased with Moroni!April is GREAT
Moroni and his staff are excellent! They have been professional, attentive, courteous and extremely knowledgeable! Best place to take your BMW and other luxury cars!!!
Ive yet to seen good mechanics as good as the mechanics at Moronis BMW Specialist. I took my 2010 BMW M6 due to a check engine light on. The service was excellent. Within one week of my 2010 BMW M6 was ready for pickup. The price was way better then the dealership. I would recommend anyone to go and get there car fixed there. I give you my word that you wont be disappointed by taking you vehicle there.
Im glad I went to Moronis. I had a mechanic from BMW check my car and had mentioned it was my Inlet and Outlet Camshaft timing gear and when Moronis did a Diagnostic check it was something else! They helped me get my car back to running smooth. Good, and Honest people. They know what they are doing! I HIGHLY recommend this Shop!! Thanks Guys I will be taking my car in for future services. ****** 6 stars in my eyes!!
I would recommend this place because they are true specialist that know what they are doing and take their time for perfection so the customer can be satisfied and would want to come back and put their name out there. At the end you get what you pay for and what one seeks is a great job. Thank you guys and a special thanks to Jennifer and Jesse O. Im a 110% satisfied till next time
Very impressed with the service at Moroni Bimmer & Euro Tech. I brought it there to have them close the sun shade that BMW El Paso, left open after trying to tell me that it was going to cost $3400 to fix. Moroni took two hours not only to close the shade, but fixing the sunroof for a tenth of the price! Highly recommend that if you need work done on your BMW, Moroni is the place to take it!
Great customer service, fair prices, and timely work! Cesar provided great customer service and options for my maintenance needs. Definitely check this place out first if you need any work done on your car!
Stopped in from out of town & these people took care of me. They know all there is to know about BMWs and gave me pointers for future references. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone who truly care about their cars! They are very honest and trustworthy & most importantly, fair pricing. I would never go back to a BMW dealer for service if I lived right around here. Thanks again you guys!
Worst experience of my life. The receptionist is rude and never calls back if you leave a message. It took them forever to repair my car (a whole month). Overpriced for mediocre work. Do not go there, do not trust them with your car.
This place is awesome. I just moved here and it wasnt long before my 2008 BMW 528i started having issues. I began experiencing difficulty changing gears and the engine would stall after idling. After having a few not so great experiences with BMW, I decide to give Maroni Bimmer a try. It was a decision that I am now proud of. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Not only was the staff knowledgeable and friendly, they were very quick about repairing my car. As another person mentioned in their review, they were able to help me understand why my car wasnt functioning properly and that eased my mind knowing that someone actually knew what they were doing and not just playing mechanic. They even gave me a tour to see that they have a legitimate and fully functional workshop. After my car was done, they even did a complimentary car wash. Needless to say, if I ever need future work done on my car, Ive found my new mechanic.
Sad that the owner passed away and they are closing shop, one of the best BMW service provider.
Took my BMW in because it was leaking coolant, they were very professional they explained what the issue was and possible solutions and other recommendations on repairs for my auto. Thier price were fair they did an excellent job even replaced a light bulb and fix my car trunk. Furthermore it took a few days to have my car repaired but I was given daily updates on what they were working on. Highly recommended them!
Best BMW shop in El Paso. Took my car for diagnostics, Maroni is stellar! He takes the time to explain all diagnostic results and does a phenomenal job educating you on the vehicle. Had researched several places including dealership, none come close. Highly recommend Maroni for new and current BMW car owners. Car was serviced on time with first class treatment. Best in El Paso and surrounding areas.
Best service on BMW so far. I know Im a little late on posting but they good money. They will get your car right. And the give the best prices on everything.
I was traveling thru TX when my BMW needed an emergency repair. The guys at Moroni were great! They fixed it fast at a fair price and I was on my way in a very short time.
If you own a BMW, bring it here. Was quoted $150 plus tax for a bulb and socket at the dealership. Brought it here and was only $50 to fix and they replaced all the bulbs.
These guys are awesome. I took a car in for a pre-sales inspection and they did a fantastic job with uncovering a slight issue before I bought the car. This helped me negotiate the price.I also had a chance to meet Moroni the ower. He took me on a tour of their facility and I was impressed how everything was so state of the art and top notch. He really cares about providing the best service for his clients.Im definitely going to be taking my new BMW here for regular maintenance.
Body shop was paid over 10k to fix my 335i that was wrecked on the driver side and replaced parts using used parts. Now I have issues with bushings etc. Owner states its the way I drive but if that were true then passenger side suspension would be having problems. Also within the first 200 miles of driving the driver rear strut came loose on the freeway and started clunking. I called the shop to advise them of the issue which I spoke with Jennifer and she said Moroni wasnt in and that ill have him call you asap. I never received a call. Ive spoken with Moroni about the issues and wanted a refund on the faulty parts so I can get the issues fixed at another shop. Moroni said he would only warranty the parts but how can you warranty used parts and thats besides the big issue. All trust has been tarnished, if you dont trust the shop then you really cant feel comfortable knowing if its going to get fixed right the next time. They never call or keep you posted when the car is in the shop. Ill see you in court Moroni.
Moroni is the best! Very knowledgeable, professional, and detail-oriented; he knows his clients and goes above & beyond for us. Thank you for everything - the Stouts
Went all over town to for work to be done on my 328i and got outrageous prices, met up with Moroni’s and they took care of me and got everything done in a day! Best service in all of El Paso i recommended to everyone!!
These guys are pros, will not take my vehicle anywhere else in el paso. I would send anyone with an import down to Moroni and his people. They treated my car as if it was their own. Honest mechanic, honest person.
Knowledgeable, efficient and professional.
On my way to work one day, I head there not so pleasant experience of getting into a fight with a small concrete block on the freeway that i was unable to maneuver away from. I took it over to Moronis and soon was taken to the back and shown how much damage had actually occurred to my drivers side wheel. It was bad.The team at Moroni worked with my insurance company to quickly get things squared away and kept me informed throughout the process. When I got our car back, it drove beautifully. They also fixed some minor things that had been giving us headaches! I had a great experience, and theyre now our go-to for service needs. Skip the dealer, save some energy, and come here first.
Slow start to diagnose the problem but the cars issue was a complicated electrical problem. After figuring out the what the problem was, they moved REALLY FAST to repair it. They even helped me SAVE SOME MONEY by letting me order one of the parts myself. The shop manager was really patient with me and tried to keep me informed of progress. I was a typical bad customer calling all the time all day and they were very understanding with me.After talking to Moroni himself, I have the nothing but respect for this shop. He really wants to earn your business and make sure all your car issues are taken care of.I have a couple of other future maintenance issues with the car and I will definitely be taking it to Moronis. This shop should be on your top three list.
First time here and not the last. They are fast and efficient. Will definitely take my 330ci back for anything else it may need.
Ive been to Moronis a few times now and I would bring it to them again. They know what theyre doing and are easy to work with. The only issue I had was some miscommunication over pricing but at the end of the day, although they charged me more than I was expecting, it was a great deal and value when compared taking it to the dealer. If youre considering taking your BMW to the dealer youre doing yourself a disservice by not talking to Moroni first. Some of those other reviews I think were people expecting something for nothing. Moroni runs a business not a charity and BMW parts and expertise is not cheap. Hope this helps someone.
Mr. Moroni WILL NOT hold your car hostage and try to sell it back to you like big Enterprise BMW dealer will.1. He will diagnose your car top to bottom and explain in detail the exact problem. He wont say things like maybe its this or well try changing this part to see what happens. No! He is a straight shooter from the start!2. I have never been to a repair shop that replaces little detail things for free. My X5 had a headlight assembly not getting power problem. They fixed things like the back up sensor and, wow, the light under the rear doors! I didnt even know it had lights there until I got it home in the evening!3. He is a self proclaimed beemer Whisperer. He knows what every little sound means. Even the sounds you didnt recognise as being a problem. Hissing from the air vents, popping sounds of valves closing, he hears it and knows just by sound if it is functioning properly. I swear the guy is as good as Tony Stark (Iron Man).4. He treats his customers like they are his own family and that is the touch big enterprise is missing. Best of all he is very affordable and honest. If your having problems with your high end, expensive European car, he is the guy to take it to. No hassles and no nonsense.
Very dishonest. I left my vehicle there and after a week of it being in the shop he hadnt checked it and charged me money for leaving it there. He shouldnt be certified!
There are not too many BMW mechanics in town that are actually worth it. I saw moronis as being listed one of the best shops in town. So i decided to try it out when i ran into an emergency with my car.On July 26th I took my bmw 535xi to moronis mechanic shop due to several error codes being displayed. The codes revealed that I needed a new front transfer case. The original price quoted was around 2k. That price included a refurbished transfer case and labor. I declined the use of their parts service and opted to find the part on my own. I located a fairly new oem transfer case from a donor BMW. I received the part about a week and halfway later and dropped it off to moronis. They had my car ready to go in about 24 hours.Parts$275 grade A transfer case$400 labor including oilProsThe work was done quick and correctlyConsMoronis uses one service to find parts for your import vehicle which can sometimes be needlessly expensive. The price to new dealership and their parts are about 2-300 dollars in difference.Customer service is lacking. They took about three says to figure out what is wrong with my car. I understand good work takes time but I do not think a courtesy call is out of lineThey do not provide a loaner/rental. They are charging some high prices for their work. They should be able to get something for their customersLastly after my car was ready they said they washed it. It was obvious they didnt wash it. I told the clerk about it he assured me it has been washed and the grime that i saw was just from the armor all they used. When i got closer to see that the car looked to covered in sand like it had been outside the whole time. I alerted this to the clerk he questioned me if it really was dirty then laughed at me promising a free car wash on him.Not sure if they had to drain the gas tank or they just used the gas in the car but they left me with 16 miles to empty. I understand its not their responsibility but at least as a courtesy put in two or three gallons of gas.In conclusion I will nit be going back to this mechanic
Once again Moroni fixes my BMW with perfection and with extra perks too at no extra charge. Thank you Moroni.
Worked on my 330i and did nothing, he ended up charging more than 500 dollars just for opening the valve cover and replacing the gasket. Gave wrong diagnosis and seemed like he didnt know anything about BMW. Took it to my friend that specializes in Audis and he was able to get it fixed, and nothing was due to what moroni the moron said.
Found this shop my luck. I had to get my DMTL pump replaced (fuel vapor leak sensor). I had taken my car to the dealership to confirm that was what indeed needed to be replaced. After $70 and 2 hours later it was confirmed. I purchased the part and called this shop to see if they could help me get it replaced since I was in a hurry. They rushed me in and it was 1/3 of the price the dealer had quoted. If I were staying in El Paso any longer this would be my new shop of choice. Without question they did a great job and I wished I had found this shop a year ago and $$$ before.
Excellent service. Extremely knowledgeable
I dont usually take my time to write reviews but this time I just couldnt wait to leave Moronis shop to write abt my experience with them; their customer service, and how the value their clients. I went to the shop on a Thursday to get Moroni check my BMW 328i 2008 after I had previously gone to BMW El Paso ( where they gave me an estimate of over 7000) to fix a leak in the car and replace some other parts. When I got to moronis place, after a quick check he told me abt the same issues BMW reported and took over 20 min seating with me and explaining to me what needed to be done and how long it could take to get fixed, Im not a car savvy but he broke it down so easy for me that I perfectly understood and felt confident that he was the guy for the job. Shortly after, I had to leave the shop to run some errands, Moroni personally called me to give me some updates and the cost of repairs, I kid you not the man charged me less than 2000$. I needed the car a lil fast, so he aggreed to work on it on a Sunday when the shop is normally close. Fast forward Monday, i went to pick up a bring new car ( yeah thats how it feels now). From now on, nobody else is gonna touch my car but Moroni and you guys reading this should try it too.PS: I wasnt asked to write a review and I didnt do it in exchange of a deal. It was just my genuine opinion abt the place.
I almost never write a review, but I think this deserves one. I am from Mexico and was traveling on my way to San Francisco Ca, when my shaft axle broke, I barely made it to El Paso TX, and immediately began searching for a BMW shop, thats when I found Moronis, they were perfect, they explained what happened to my car, showed me in detail and with patience what was needed to do, then, they helped me find a part for my car that at first was priced at over 700 usd! They finally get it at 125, they made the same effort with the rest of the parts. When you are traveling with your family on a budget, those details are a life saver. And to finish my experience they fixed my car the same day so I could continue my vacations without delay with my family, they even changed some broken bulbs without charging for them or even telling me about it!That is great service! If you ever are in need for a very good mechanic for your BMW or european car, look no more call them, you will be pleased.
Very dishonest people, i left my bmw, they charge me a fortune, then i went back bc my wipers were not working, and they told me that, it wasnt their fault, that things just broke by itself, later at another place the broke the cable, when they were fixing my car, a keep fix was all that was needed, but the guy there told me it would cost over 500, dont go there ever!!!
One of the worst experiences of auto repair facility. Dropped off my car to have the injectors replaced since thats what i was told by moroni due to check engine light. Was told the car would be done Friday. Friday came around no call so went to shop to pick the car up, and they have not even started on my car. Moroni said he would have it done Monday for sure. Monday came around and I called the shop to make sure the car was done before driving down there. Jennifer answered and told me the car wouldnt be done until Wednesday. I was completely outraged! Wednesday came around it was about 4pm and have not received a call. I had my friend drive me down there because at this point it was ridiculous. I got there about 5pm and the car was sitting outside in the front. They told me the car has been done and i said thanks for the phone call! They quoted me $875 but the bill came to almost $1300 i questioned the bill and they said that was just a quote? The injectors were more than we thought. I said are you kidding me!! Not once have i ever been over charged for a repair! But if its going to more than the original quote you can atleast notify the customer. Who does that? On top of that the check engine light reappeared on my dash? and still having the same symptoms. At this point i question the shops credibility? completely dissatisfied and still have a check engine light on??
Always happy to get my vehicles fixed here.
So I went against my better judgement one weekend and purchased a 2004 BMW X3 from a used auto dealer out in Phoenix, AZ. It was a great price for an SUV in great shape with only 68k miles. It was almost to good to be true and I found that out when I finally took the 6.5 hour trip to purchase it. Everything went well until moments after test driving it the service engine soon (SES) light popped up. The mechanic there ran the trouble codes with a cheap OBDII reader and a couple trouble codes popped up saying that the air/fuel ratio was not correct and the system was running lean in bank 1-2. The dealer cleared the codes and told me that it was probably a bad O2 sensor and that he would knock $300 off the price so I could go have it fixed on my own. On the drive back to El Paso the SES light popped on again, giving me a real uneasy feeling with my recent purchase and made me question my own impulsivity and decision making skills. I quickly googled BMW auto repair El Paso and found Moroni bimmer specialists as one of the top results. I went there the next day and as I pulled up wasnt sure what to expect or if this new purchase was going to be a never ending money pit. The place wasnt very pretty from the outside but dont judge a book by its cover. The moment I started talking with Moroni I realized I had come to the right place. As soon as I told him the trouble codes he immediately responded with almost the exact definition of them verbatim. He took a quick look at my car, inspected the interior and engine, and then showed me some features that I didnt even know existed. Then we discussed how he would diagnose the issue using a smoke test to find the source of the vacuum leaks while using the newest technology of engine management software to get an in depth look at all the information given by the onboard diagnostic system. We then took a quick tour of the garage/facility which turned out to be about the size of a small warehouse. It was huge and had almost everything you could think of and then some. He went to work and found the source of the leak. He charges $90 to diagnose the issue but what works out great is that he puts that cost towards the repair if you want to fix the issue. It ended up being the PCV valve and hose. He quoted me a price of $300 to replace the parts and fix some other issues I had including the interior passenger light, squeaky window, and interior side panel coming loose. Within about 1 hour the parts arrived and he went to work. At this point it was lunch time and I had been waiting for a little while, his son ended up taking me out so that I could grab a bite to eat and then drop me off at work. A couple hours later and it was done. I got a phone call to come pick it up. Started her up and it ran beautifully, they even went the extra mile and fixed all the other small issues I was having. The customer service at Moronis is top notch! If your BMW ever needs repair or service I highly recommend Moronis. It is by far the best service I have received in the automotive world especially when combined with the knowledge, skills, and available equipment it makes this place unbeatable.
Mr. Moroni is a true professional, very good customer service from Mr. Moroni and Cesar.
The place is fine im sure they know there stuff and there generious... but the downs are they take a while to figure the problem out.. they never call you.. and they keep telling you that they will call. im sure this guy would be great to tune up and fix ur cars but make sure u have another ride because im working on past a week now.. i dont know about price he charged me $592 for a fuel pump fuel filter and installation with a $75 diagnostic and the towing fee of $50 but it totalled out to 592
This place is great with moroni being very knowledgeable but the person in the front (Roy) is very rude and tries to take advantage of you as a customer. Do not get a quote from this guy.
I changed a fuel filter. Everything was perfect.
Awesome service top notch mechanic
Only take your car here if you want them to drive it home and put extra miles on it.
Friendly & Professional!
Great job
They will fix your problem but expensive (not as much as the dealer).
They know bmws!!!!!
Disappointed by this place
Dishonest
Unprofesional.
