Friendly shop. Fast, fair, and honest. Everything I can ask for out of a mechanic. I highly recommend them over the local corporate shops. They got me in when other shops wouldnt. Diagnosed and back on the road in the same day.

I got my AC fixed for the second time in a week and after they charged me twice still left some components complily loose.Thing like the air filter box antifreeze hose condenser base and more important components

Went into this place just for a wheel alignment. Left my vehicle there and conveniently i get the call 30 minutes before they close that i needed about $1k worth of parts. Took my car to another shop and my alignment was done quickly and only issue my car had was that one of my struts was not aligned properly. Good try on the rip off attempt. Will never take any of my cars to this place

The experience here was amazing, also, in that it was a disaster from start to finish. A pleasant young man oversees the front desk and with extraordinary politeness takes an endless barrage of irate customers without batting an eye. The shop has several mechanics, none of whom seem to communicate with anyone. Because a $5 thermostat was not replaced, the engine on my car was ruined. I hope and pray I never see or think about this place again. I suggest you go across the street to Pep Boys, where at least the work is under warranty.

The guy in the front desk was polite and informative. I went it because my tires wobled alot while at 60mph so i was pretty sure it was the balancing. I was told it would take a few hours so i left and returned two hours later and my truck had not been touched. I sat in the waiting room for about another hour before someone drove my truck to the back area and finished like 10 minutes later. So the fix was about 10 min and it took approx 3 hours. They did fix the issue though and I was asked if I wanted all 4 tires balanced or just the front ones. When I told the guy I was not sure he recommended to do the front only which did solve the issue and ended saving me money from not balancing all 4 tires. Satisfied with overall service just wished that the 10 min fix would have actually taken less than 3 hours. Will definitely be back for service at this place. I will just prepare for a longer stay.

My check engine light came on suddenly last week. As a senior, it worried me immediately as I just purchased this used vehicle 3/wks ago. A parts store diagnosis indicated its code; O2 sensor. I know that its a vague diagnosis and it could possibly be more. I called Jerrys and Ben answered, no appointment needed, drove there and within the hour was on my merry way (relieved) that someone would check it out on a Saturday without an appointment. Ben explains all the details, causes and effects of why my Oxygen Sensor was the diagnosis shown by parts store. He also took the time to explain how to possibly avoid having it happen again as my O2 sensor was working okay. (Without details; he completed the need that caused the engine sensor light to turn off).While waiting- I noticed several ladies finalizing their repairs. Ladies- I highly recommend Jerrys Auto Repair and Tire, Ben is straight forward, honest, polite and professional here.

Took my 1999 Ford F250 on with engine trouble. After a week they got the issue resolved however the truck came back with a rather large oil leak. When confronted about the leak, they offered to charge me to steam clean the engine to find the leak they created.

Absolute worst mechanics. We had the car towed to Jerrys to have the clutch cable replaced. While they said the job would only take a bit to fix, it took them over a week to get a clutch cable, in fact I went and bought the cable to give to them to fix because they first ordered the wrong one. A repair which shouldnt have taken more than two days took 8. Upon driving the car back home my wife called me that the hood isnt secure and is flying up on the freeway. I get there to discover the frame has been bent and we discovered the brake lights no longer worked. I drove the car careful back to let them know it was damaged further in their effort to fix it. At first they tried to blame it on me, but the car wasnt damaged when I brought it in. Jerry only shrugged and says this happens. No... Not at a decent mechanic at least. So within the day they fix the taillights, bend the frame back so the hood can be secured again.As I was called over, I noticed now that the headlights were loose, the mounts broken and didnt point in front of the road anymore but the sky. Absolutely no sympathy from Jerry for the second time Im trying to get my car fixed, and they ruined it further. He suggested I take it elsewhere because they wont continue to work on it for free. They wont fix what they broke, trying to fix something different they had originally broke.Horrendous service, no care for customer or their vehicle, and only caused further damage to our only vehicle. Im giving two stars because of the pandemic, Im sure its made it hard on everyone, but service and horrible quality like this cant stand. Please find another shop nearby on Dyer to get your vehicle fixed and skip this place unless you are certain they will do a good job. Which for me, three times was constantly subpar and infuriating.

Jerry a great place for your tire needs... The owner in the front always nice and courteous.. Probably only place in el paso u can find a 10$ tire to get u to next pay check.. They do carry great selection new tires as a well. Reason 5 stars their service ia great, and they are super friendly

My recently widowed grandmother has been taken advantage of many times here. The last quote she got for some maintenance was almost 400 dollars over either of the other two quotes I got for her. She also purchased a lemon from Ben who refuses to refund her even after he assured her he would if the vehicle had problems (it did) and he has since just flat out told her he wouldn’t and says it’s her problem.

Will not go back. 2 days after leaving Jerrys engine seized.

The people at this shop are amazing! The service is also really good. They found me the best engine and walked me through everything were going to do. For a non car person like me this helps a lot. Also, they didnt take advantage of the fact that I know nothing about vehicles.

Horrible!!! I always used to get tires here i decided to go get an alignment here they called me an hour later to tell me that they couldnt fix it because the control arm bushings needed to be replaced and that it would be 700!!! They didnt even close my hood right and now i have a dent they also charged me $47 for a diagnostics that i didnt ask for i will be searching lawyer advise because apparently im not the only one with a complain!!!! Dont take your car here!!!!!! Wish would have read the reviews Replying to jerrys comment: yeah i dont know why they opened my hood but then how would you have known i needed new battery connectors and a belt if you didnt open the hood!!! it wasnt opened before i took it there so you must have opened it im not the only one whos had problems with this have you read your reviews??? Of course you guys never take responsibility And YOU SHOULD REALLY TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THAT HIDDEN FEE!!!! Crooks

Stopped in to check a tire with a slow leak. They quickly found the leak, repaired the leak, and balanced the tire, all at a very fair price. Good place

I took my car in for a tire issue, they tried to charge me close to $400 to replace wheel rods then didnt want to waive the $50 diagnostic charge if i went ahead and made the repair. These guys dont know how how to do business. Makes me wonder wat other shady things are going on here. I will never bring my car here again!!!! These guys tried to charge me $400 for a tie rod replacement job, i just googled it and that job should cost $200 tops these guys are complete rip offs.

We went there after going to Firestone and being told that the flat tire on my wifes Jeep could not be patched or plugged. Firestone on Dyer wanted us to pay over 250 dollars for a new tire. We had seen Jerrys a few times and decided to stop there as they were closing. A couple of days later we went back and took two tires that both had nails in them and were pretty worn. They plugged and patched them both for a really, really good price and I even got me some truly good brisket to go along with it. Now we know where to go for any tire issues we have.. great, fast and friendly service.. Thank you guys so much.

I had such a terrible experience here. I was visiting from out of town and I was having some car problems. First off they charged me $50 to tell me what was wrong with my car. I watched them the whole time all they did was take a flash light and look underneath my car. Then one of the mechanics came out and asked me “how much was I willing to pay to fix my car?” . That was so unprofessional, they said it was going to cost me over $1500 to fix my car or better yet I was better off taking it to a junk yard. As a mom from out of state I was upset and completely unsatisfied with how they treated me. Don’t not go here, save your money I threw $50 away for them to tell me something’s that wasn’t even wrong with my car. I went to another mechanic and they were able to service me better and fix my car for the fraction of the price !

I have never used Jerrys for any actual mechanical work, but when Ive needed a used tire to hold me for a few months until I can purchase new, they have always treated me good. Yeah the guys in the back dont always have a smile on their face, but theyre mechanics not salesmen. As long as they do the job I am paying them to do, I could care less what they look like. Dont be rude, or unprofessional. On two rules I have, and have never had a problem. Thanks guys!

Charged $27 to do a tire swap. Claimed they balanced my rim but it still has the original weights. Rip-off at its finest.

DO Not, Do Not go through this rip off company. They lie to you about everything, this is not the name of the company. The people in the office are con artists, they use the most expensive towing company then they try to charge you even more for towing. Do your self a favor. Look up a better mechanic. Save yourself from what I call, The rip off shop. They charged me 545$ and did nothing but tow my truck. Im pursuing legal help. DO NOT, DO NOT go through these guys or you will be the next one ripped off. I would give them negative 545 stars if I could. I had to re tow my truck to a real mechanic.

This has to be the worst mechanic shop I have ever seen. My roommate took his car in to get a diagnostic run for a small misfire and an inspection sticker. They called us and said that it needed spark plugs and an induction cleaning which was agreed too. When my roommate picked his car back up it was still misfiring and they explained it needed to be driven to reset the drive cycle. They stated after it had been driven and reset it would stop misfiring.He returned the car after the weekend because it was still misfiring. Two days later they called and stated the misfire was caused by a leak in a vacuum hose which my roommate authorized them to repair. A few days went by and the car was still not ready and we had received no phone calls from them. When he called to check the status of the car they stated that it was the timing and it would be $800.00 to repair on top of the $400.00 that had already been spent. He declined the repair and said he would pick up the car. Then he found out that his car had been taken apart which he did not authorize. After waiting two days for them to put his car back together he had to have his car towed to another mechanic because during all of this somehow his car stopped running completely. In order for him to get his car back to have it taken somewhere else he had to pay for the labor for them taking it apart without his authorization.So a car driven in for a simple fix left this shop on a tow and the second mechanic has stated that the car is not even worth repairing now. The mechanics were extremely rude and even laughed when we requested to pick up the car. The original diagnostic was never performed even though it had been requested, just an emissions diagnostic to see if it would pass inspection.They offer towing and we felt they should tow it to another mechanic since it was running when it was dropped off and no longer was when it was picked up. The mechanic flat out refused and was extremely rude about it, however the owner Jerry did do the tow for free. Overall this has been the worst mechanic experience I have ever seen someone go through.

Destroyed my rim and tire on a simple tire mount. I tried to give a small shop a chance. Take your money elsewhere for quality work.

Pretty disappointed. Replaced my entire engine and told me I had a warranty. When I came back to get it looked at because I was having problems they told me whatever was wrong wasnt covered by the warranty because we had been driving it without the catalytic converters, but the catalytic converters were on the damn truck when we brought it in the first time when they replaced the engine. Therefore THEY ripped them off. Now they want to charge me another $1,000 to fix the problem that THEY caused. Never will come back here. They also tore the connectors for the O2 sensors. They recommended I dont drive it until I have the money to fix it. Its my only vehicle, husband works full time and we have a baby on the way.

Excellent service, enjoy the fact they have a warranty on the repairs. The office people are great at explaining what the problem is as well as what caused the problem. They had no issues with letting me see where my engine was leaking before they began working on it.

Had a fuel pump go out and the part was on backorder for at least 2 months! Jerrys scoured the web and found an equivalent part and got my vehicle back to me as quick as they could get the part in, and for less than I was expecting it to cost. I was contacted every few days to keep me up to date.Being a mechanic myself, Im very picky when it comes to automative service shops - Jerrys is among the best!

I stopped in at this repair shop and I was quite confused and disappointed because the pictures displayed on Google are not of the shop at all! I drove past it 2 or 3 times before I figured out that the dissheveled building was the one I was looking for. I was going in to buy some tires but ended up leaving because I couldnt get any service. If the shop is going to lie about what it looks like then imagine what else it will lie about? Ill stick to well know tire places from now on!

Scam artists. They dont tell you what they are charging and then refuse to give you your car until you pay. They claim to be Christians but I dont think so.

Im so upset. I was in el paso and Jerrys was the first mechanic i could make it to. My brakes were metal to metal. They all made a very good first impression but charged 500+ to change spark plugs abd fix my brakes. Its barely been 3 months and my brakes are already metal to metal again and i try contacting them because i supposedly have a warranty for a year and the numbers wrong.

Do not take your vehicle here. I took my 1977 Chevy truck here with specific instructions to give it a tune up and work on the carburetor because if was blowing black smoke under full throttle. They only did the tune up, and did nothing to the carburetor. It still blew black smoke. The air cleaner wasnt even seated on the carburetor, and the #8 spark plug wire wasnt connected. I had to bring it back in twice to get them to fix it. In their diagnosis of my truck, they told me my timing belt needed replaced, along with my battery. That struck me as curious, because the truck has a timing chain, not a belt, and the battery is 6 months old.If you bring your vehicle here, it will probably leave with more problems than it had previously.

Found this place about 3 years ago I used to go to Dyer Tire but there they make you feel like they are hustling you there is no set prices just seems like they come up with prices out of nowhere like for instance one time I went there the one guy was trying to sell me a tire for $30 hes like all this is the cheapest Tire I got I said no he says let me go check again he goes back there comes back with the same exact tire because I noticed a mark on the wall and now hes like well youre so lucky I found one for 25 stuff like that took me off of Dyer Tire then I bumped into Jerrys Automotive and fell in love with it you just dont get that feeling of there hustling you there Ive been there for mechanic work and tire work I highly recommend this place

My fiancée blew a tire today and Jerry’s was the only one who could help us as we were short in cash. You can get used tires starting at $10. Sure they won’t be as good as a brand new one, but if you are short on cash and need your wheels for work, then Jerry is your man. We will keep coming here!

Rip off! Went in to fix my AC they tried to charge me for a new compressor but I went for a second opinion and I just needed more freeon for my AC! I almost paid a whole lot for something I didnt even need! Never going there again.
