I called at 8 am, Richard told me he would be here between 10-3. He called at 11 to say he was on his way and by noon, my AC was fixed.He only charged me for the repair, not a weekend service charge like other companies do.I’m very happy with his professionalism and responsiveness.Highly recommend.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! Early this year they fixed my heater but messed up the air conditioning on purpose. While waiting for payment the guy said it looked like my air conditioner was gonna have issues. Didnt give it any thought because my air conditioner was working just fine. April comes and I turn on the air and it doesnt work, go figure. Scared of expenses and another bad experience, I waited till now to fix the air conditioning. Hired another company and as soon as he opened the air conditioning system, we could see the problem. The person from this company (Southwest) taped some cords so that the energy wouldnt pass. Im going to authorities to inform this issue. So hopefully this person and company loses their license and can stop stealing from people.Update tried to post to answer what the owner down below wrote and wasnt able to. So Ill post it here my air conditioning system is on my roof. Only two companies have checked it in the time Ive owned this house. This company, that I once trusted completely (because of the good reviews) and let the guy go on the roof on his own, and the other company who I watched since he opened the refrigeration system. As soon as I wrote this review, I should of been contacted by the company, but i wasnt, even if it wouldve been for an apology, I would have accepted it. Company only answers here to try to do some damage control (even having my picture as evidence). You tell me why you have someone sooo untrustworthy and unethical working at your company!!! I

My issue with this company was that I was told there was a fee to come and check the A/C unit but if I decided to do the work they would deduct the show up fee from the total cost. So the show up fee was $85, I decided I would get the work done and called to ask how much the work would cost, I was told $450, I then asked if that was with the show up fee included and the female on the phone said, oh, um $400. So at this point I lost all confidence in Southwest and decided not to do business with them.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Southwest Heating and Cooling Service! Had a different company out twice earlier this summer, still not working great. Finally called Southwest and the young man who came out was knowledgeable, polite and so well mannered! Everything works Great and we now have a reliable repairman❣ Thank you so very much!!!

This company handled my parents conversion to refrigerated air. They were awesome and super professional, they did great work. My parents loved their price and customer service, since my parents dont speak English too well Southwest made sure to explain it in Spanish as well. I’d recommend them 150% best in the city!

Southwest sorry about having to reschedule and thank you for understanding. Your team was awesome throughout. From the wonderful lady who answered my calls to the techs who showed up to my home. That was top notch quality and customer service. Just an FYI for anyone looking for a heater repair, don’t call anyone else. I shopped around before calling them and their price to fix my blower motor was $250 less than the closest competitor. I scheduled on the wrong day by mistake and they were so helpful about rescheduling me on my day off. They were on time and just so friendly. I can see why they’ve been around for so long.

Southwest thank you guys for fixing my heater last week. The repair guy who came Richard was really friendly and knew his stuff. My heater has worked perfectly since he replaced the broken gas valve. You guys rock and thanks for giving me a good price. Other companies wanted to charge me double what you did!

Very good service. They arrived on time and quickly, was able to see same day we called within a couple hours. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my HVAC unit and fixed the problem for me. Would highly recommend and I will for sure call them again when I need them.

I trust this company 150%. My refrigeration system was not working and I had 3 other companies come by and they all did a quick check and all said it was the compressor. Something didn’t feel right about the diagnosis and I decided to call Southwest. They came on time and made sure to do an extremely thorough diagnosis, it seemed as if they tested nearly every component and found that the issue was something called a contractor. They showed me that it had been burned out and wasn’t allowing the compressor to turn on. They replaced it and right away it started working. They gave me a great price too and saved me thousands! They were honest and made sure to show me proof of all of their work and explained everything very thoroughly!

I used these guys before and they were good. But the last 2 weeks I called to get my AC serviced and both times they failed to show up.

Pure professionalism and great customer service. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to any of my family and friends. They came out to fix my unit on a Saturday, and even though their schedule was full they made room on the schedule for me and saved me from triple digit heat! Richard was the best technician I’ve ever dealt with and the price was great, not like other companies that try to take advantage of someone’s desperation. He showed me exactly what the issue was, what caused it and explained in great detail what needed to be done, he did it and showed me that it had been repaired properly!

Had a great experience with this company. They quickly diagnosed my heater and fixed the issue within a couple hours. My unit had a water leak which caused my board to short and my blower motor. They showed me that proof of it and gave me a great price. I’ve had this type of problem before in one of my rental homes and I know it’s expensive and they did it for hundreds less than another company I had used before Southwest. They were clean with their work, had exceptional customer service skills and even went the extra step and tested my heater for carbon monoxide free of charge for my peace of mind. I recommend them 100% and will now use them for all my heating & cooling needs in my personal home and rental homes! Great work guys, especially Richard!

ONLY COMPANY I’D TRUST IN EL PASO! I called southwest for an issue with my a/c since they were the only company who could come out same day. Richard came over and was on time and called beforehand as well, he quickly found my issue. It was a faulty capacitor, he showed me the part and how it had plumped up, he had a replacement on hand and installed it straight out of the box. He gave me a great price as well, some of the other big companies have charged me double what Southwest did for the same thing. He ensured my unit was working before he left and made sure the air as coming out cool. This will definitely be the only A/C company I’ll call from now on!!!

Richard and his apprentice recommended and installed a water heater in about 3 hours and removed the old one. Very professional, both of them. On top of doing a very clean and professional job they were both very respectful Human Beings. Thank you Richard and young Padawan apprentice.

Richard is very reliable and provides the best service. I have referred him to many of my friends and family for their homes and businesses. Richard routinely comes out and performs maintenance on all of my properties and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments.

About four weeks ago, I had my air conditioner checked out by Richard from Southwest Air. It was blowing hot air and he diagnosed it as my condenser motor being out. He gave me a price of $450 dollars for the part and labor, but would deduct $70 for the initial inspection. I agreed and had it installed on a Monday. Three days later, my AC started doing the same thing. I called Richard and he came on Thursday and told me that my compressor was not working. He stated the part was $850, but would take two weeks to get here. I felt he was just trouble shooting or trying to scam me! I decided to chalk up my losses and go elsewhere.

100% recommended. My heater broke when it was very cold and they were able to schedule me the same day. Other companies told me it would take a few days for an appointment. The technician Richard arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly and showed me it, a broken igniter. He had the part on hand and gave me a fair price. It was fixed within the hour and he was very clean with his work.

I do not recommend this company. I had them come to my house to have routine maintenance done. They wanted to overcharge me for maintenance that was not needed. This company was not honest hire at own risk.
