Had a tech come out on 04/03/21 and he was super nice and fixed the issue and everything was fine, it was a simple fix from what he said, however the very next day (today) 04/04/21 it has not worked all day and it’s 90 degrees in the house. The website says 24/7 emergency service but I guess on holidays you’re SOL because I’ve tried calling 3/4 times already with no answer. My toddlers are currently sweating in this house but happy Easter to you and your kids tho!!

This company was extremely patient with my family! After having horrible experiences with two other companies, and being without air conditioning for two days, Refrigeration Express showed us that NOT all companies are the same. We did have to wait a day to get them here and we know why. Technicians are knowledgeable, fast, honest and empathetic. He had our air conditioning working in about 20 minutes. He bypassed the system to provide cooling while he went to go get a part. Prices are reasonable and I am very grateful to have found them.

Called 5/4/21 for an appointment for someone to come give me a quote to change my evaporated air to refrigerated air.Lady said someone will go the next day at 5pm, but no one came to give me a quote.Not even a call or anything.Very unprofessional.

Bought a brand new home in which Refrigeration express installed the A/C unit for the home builder. Had problems from the get go, wrong size return, had to modify that, unit constantly freezing, no resolutions only blaming others. Was told by the owner that they would repair my A/C this year and extend my warranty since they knew something was wrong with my unit... well surprise surprise now they’re going back on their word and trying to charge me to fix the unit that they haven’t been able to fix. NOW they’re saying I need a 2 year maintenance on it when they have been to my house 10+ times and never mentioned that, I’m guessing because now the warranty is done and they can charge for that now. I’m very disappointed in how they handled my situation and people need to know how they do business. I wish I could give less than 1 star.

Don’t contact this company.We bought our home 2 years ago and they tried telling us that our AC unit was over 4+ years old and installed incorrectly.When the technician came into our home to look at the filter, he told us that this is his 5th day on the job and wasn’t sure how the company wanted the job done so he wasn’t going to touch anything because he wasn’t properly trained. How is it that we paid $150 for expedited service and they send us a technician who isn’t trained to help us?!Finally after examining our unit, he told us that we needed a new coil and quoted us $350. After not having AC for almost a week, we got a hold of a different AC company and they informed us that the AC had low fluids and did NOT need the coil replaced. They poured some into our AC and the system is now running.I contacted the company to inform them that we will be canceling the service and they told us that they were wrong and the system will crash soon. They’re a joke!Get a second opinion before you decide to dump all your money with this company. It’s sad to know that we’re in an epidemic and this company is just wanting to rip people off.

This company deserves to be recognized. I am ashamed to say they were not my first choice. I called two other companies before I found them on Google. The first two companies I called blew me off because I could not explain the issue I was having. I will not mention their names to not give them publicity.The good thing is that after I called Refrigeration Express, I was treated nicely and they understood the problem I was having with my refrigeration unit. They helped me resolve it temporarily and get it going over the phone while one of their technicians got here. I am not young anymore and I might not have the patience to deal with young people laughing over the phone instead of hearing me. For this reason I would like to give this company a good rating because they took their time to listen. They paid attention to every single word I said because the technician that arrived knew exactly what to do. Thank you!

Excellent service! I was not prepared for my heater to break down at 4pm. I called Refrigeration express and they immediately sent a technician for repairs. I only have tile in my house and that made it even colder. The technician fixed it in 10 minutes. He only charged me $80 on an emergency after hours call. Wow! The other company I was using would have charged me $120. My feet are now warm.They are friendly, courteous, and fair in their pricing!

I hired Refrigeration Express to do a conversion to refrigerated air and new ductwork in my house. They were amazing and extremely efficient. Left my house spotless and completed the work in two days. Their technicians and duct specialist were professional and patient. Answered all my questions and never left me one day without air. I highly recommend them and if you hire them I promise you will have no regrets!!!! Pricing was very very fair in comparison to others quotes I received.

My heater brokedown on one of the coldest nights of this month. I called various companies for assistance and Refrigeration Express was the quickest to respond. The technician was at my house under an hour and was immediately able to diagnose my system and begin repairs. Fortunately, the repairs were completed in a couple of hours and I didnt need to spend on a hotel. I would like to personally thank Refrigeration Express and the technician for helping me in my time of need.

Do not call, especially if you have small children or elderly. They lie and say the tech is on the way and when he doesnt arrive and you call, they either dont answer or the lie and say the tech is on the way. They also play family members against each other, telling me and leading me to believe things he didnt say or that he was not actually told. Over 5 days with no AC, the times the tech came, he would be her for a short time and leave without telling us why. Once he did tell us he needed a special tool. that was a lie. We found out 4 1/2 days later that we needed a new motor and they were having trouble locating one. Prior to knowing this, we called another AC repair company but when they arrived they told us that Refer Express had taken our parts so we would have to endure the weekend without AC.Not fun with an infant!

Beautiful installation done by Refrigeration Express! Our home was extremely hot when they came over to give us an estimate. We already had two other companies check our old water evap and had provided outrageous estimates of over $7,000 for a 3 ton split system. One even told us we needed an electrical upgrade. Refrigeration Express was fair in their estimate and we did not end up requiring an electrical upgrade. Their electrician was so patient in explaining why we had enough amperage to cover the new unit. They even gave us a copy of the city permits. They gained our trust! They were kind enough to start a day later in the afternoon with two crews. The technicians did not leave until the air conditioning was working. Their technicians care! They did not leave us even though they struggled a little with the structure of our house! Thank you for caring! God Bless you guys!By the way, our neighbor had recommended other companies here in El Paso that I could NOT afford! His point was to go with big companies so that in case of an emergency they would respond. Well guess what? My neighbors condenser tipped over and fell off the roof! Their ceiling also collapsed and now the Big company does not want to respond! It does not matter how long they have been around! If the employees do not care, the job will not be done right!

Excellent service! I have been calling Kings Aire to take care of my AC for over six years until they left me without AC! They left me without AC for two days claiming they had a lot of customers. I have my elderly parents here at home in hospice and Refrigeration Express was the only company to hear me. They showed up at 8pm and explained that the parts required were not available until the next day. Even though we had to sleep without AC, I trusted they were goin to take care of us. The technician showed up at my house at 8:16am right the next day, repaired our AC and the AC is now working. Thank you!!!

Our Trane AC unit stopped working at about 8:00pm on Friday night. I called Refrigeration Express at 2:00 am to schedule a service call. They said a technician would arrive first thing in the morning and sure enough a technician did! David arrived around 7:45 am and identified the issue in 2 minutes. A safety switch shut the system down because the water drain had clogged. David fixed it quickly and also showed me how I could check and avoid the phone call and downtime in the future. This company did not charge a flat rate fee like all the other companies. Their price was fair and the quality was more than I ever imagined.Thanks again for the great service and the prompt response!

Worse choice I couldve made by hiring this company. From the day we had the units installed, we have had leaks from my roof into the closets of where the furnaces sit, the upstairs never cools down enough for comfort & the gaping holes they left throughout my house was the job of u professionals!!!

I had a very pleasant experience with Refrigeration Express. The tech that was sent over was very knowledgable, and did a great job. I also got a great deal on a Trane unit compared to the other HVAC companies in the area. I am so glad I took a chance with this company, and I couldnt be happier with the outcome. I called them to rectify a bad installation. They assured me they could do it with the equipment left behind by the shotty installer. (We asked that they remove the existing equipment and install new equipment and the tech said it was not necessary). Midway through their process, I could tell their installer was having issues, so I told him while he was on the phone with Norma(one of the main ladies, if not the main one) to please do whatever necessary, again, including removing equipment left behind by the shotty installer. They said no, it should work since the condenser was new(which it was). After they finished, the a/c never cooled lower than 75 and remained on ALL DAY(as it could not cool lower than 75) Each time they would come out it was something different which required more money. I would call to speak to Norma, but she was never availble or never returned my calls. Its worth noting that before i paid them, she would call me to finalize the contract and would respond to my texts immediately, but that ended once i paid them. I finally told the receptionist(who was always nice and by far the most professional of the bunch...cant recall her name. She was young though) that I would be requesting a refund from my credit company. Norma finally called me and was rude and interrupted me all thoughout the call. She also threatened my by saying I will go get my equipment, and I will sell it. Although I myself was calm and rational through this call, Norma hung up on me as I was speaking. She never resolved our issues and I did file a claim through my credit card and got my money back. They came a few days later to take their equipment back. This company should not be doing business, and they will say they tried to resolve in their response, but I also have the texts and phone calls to prove they didnt. At one point we were told the installer who worked in our home was terminated because he was doing bad installs which Cost their clients more money than what they needed to spend, which is something I noticed they responded to another 1 star reviewer. Be careful.

Tech was 2 hrs lateWas charging us for a diagnostic yet he didn’t know what was wrong with the AC said he was charging us $370 but if that didn’t work he’d charge us another $370 to replace the entire engine. Was rushing me to give him an answer when he was 2 hrs late to the appointment. Completely unprofessional. Horrible service
