Would not let us retrieve our personal property from the vehicle (which is illegal, I believe) and charge $60 a day (on top of the huge tow fee of course-$225 for a sedan towed 6.7 miles which is WAY higher than average pricing!!), or the totallyyy reasonable option of $112 to get it after hours. The woman made no effort to work with us despite the fact that we had the keys and money ready. It is clear this place would be even more predatory if they could manage it, how anyone owns and works at these places with a clear conscience is beyond me. Car was also retrieved with a nail in the tire, because price gouging us once wasnt enough, now we have to buy a new tire too.

Towing people’s car for no reason. Has to be illegal. There has to be a valid reason for you to do so.

This company is a licensed robber. They towed my car without any reason, and they put a lien on my car. After having my car back, the lien record caused my car can’t be renewal, and police pull me over for that.They should go to hell.

They will tow your car without a valid reason and make lies about why they did. They didn’t even make a report to the police that they towed our car. When we asked for proof of photos they said they cannot show us any photos (which is ILLEGAL). Be careful when dealing with this company do anything you can not to pay. They don’t deserve a penny.

I own my own mobile detailing service....THIS TOW COMPANY STOLE 6k worth of mobile detailing equipment February 9th, and to this very day I haven’t heard from no one about anything !!! Horrible people very horrible

Respectful workers, theyre there to listen and be of a service long as your not screaming at them. Process doesnt take long, if your willing to understand what happened and why .. Somethings you dont have control over, and even if you do theres ways to handle it. In a professional manner .. No one wants to get towed, but things happen!

Worst customer service Ive ever received. Being in customer service myself I have high expectations when I am on the phone or being helped by a company THAT TOWED MY CAR ILLEGALLY. First of all you have to call to even get the address of any yard which took up 30 mins for NO REASON. As well as when I called the night it was towed they gave me a rate of 269 plus 60 storage fee and a 100 porter fee to send someone there AFTER HOURS and continued to tell me they would be open the next day. But when I called the next morning, they told me I had to make a reservation and still pay the extra 100 for a porter to come and release the vehicle and another 60 for being there over night. THIS IS BLACK MAIL LMAO. I talked to 3-4 customer service reps and they told me all the same thing with pricing. I would of gone and got my vehicle the night of for cheaper rather than waiting just to pay more and not have transportation to work. Also had some couple extra scratches on my vehicle so they have no care for your property whats so ever. Looking at other reviews.. they tow illegally all the time, mess up your car and even almost ran into someones car trying to beat them to their OWN vehicle to tow it. Completely unprofessional. Lets just say theres a reason these people work in this industry and have an average of 1 star. Dont even know how they still have a business license, if they even do. Wouldnt be surprised if this was an illegal establishment.

The gentlemen we dealt with in the yard returning the car to us was excellent however the lady that is on their phone is a total she has no phone etiquette for customer service skills at all

On Thursday October 11, 2018 at 8:15 am I observed a Western Towing truck getting ready to tow our neighbors car parked on the street. I witnessed him taking pictures of the vehicle in preparation of the tow. I went across the street to their house to alert them that their car was about to be towed. The driver saw me and ran to his vehicle to try and beat my neighbor to the car. His tow truck was parked, hiding, on the north corner of Via Granada and Via Colina. The neighbors car was parked in front of space #77. The tow truck driver, in reverse, accelerated to about 15-20 mph to attempt to hook-up the vehicle. He almost hit the front end of the neighbors car. He then sped off when he couldnt get the car. Not only did he drive extremely unsafe to get to the car, he then did it once again to leave the scene. I phoned the towing company directly after this to lodge a complaint with a customer service rep. I spoke with Ashley and then was handed off to Joel. Joel was pleasant at first letting me know that he would be reprimanding the driver. However, he then went on to add that some of the drivers, namely him, have been jumped when people have come out to find their car being towed at our mobile home park. I told him its perfectly fine to be scared, but the driver shouldnt be driving like that due to fear. He responded with Im not scared of those people. That shocked me. I let him know he was talking like some sort of gang banger about a prison beef. It was apparent Joel still hasnt gotten over being jumped in the mobile home park. I let him know that driving backwards towards a person doesnt indicate fear, it indicates anger. All he could answer on that was people do weird things when they are scared. After some back and forth where he in no uncertain terms let me know my area is known to have violent people, he terminated the phone call after I demanded he tell me who his supervisor was. He said he was the manager and when I asked who the owner was and who signed his paychecks, he refused to give me any contact info for the owner. I told him I would come down to find the owner and he said go ahead I wont let you see him. I am appalled at this mans customer service. The driver needs to be fired as he is a major liability. It was morning and there were children on the street going to school, and I had just come home from dropping mine off thankfully and they were not there to witness this. Joel needs extensive training or to be put in another position.

They didnt let me know my car was towed until 5 days had past which incurred a $60 a day fee! Not very professional or courteous.

These people steal cars from parking lots, then extort the owners for almost $400 to get them back. The dispatch caller is extremely rude and hangs up on you when you try to get an address to find your stolen car. I parked my car at a visitor space for my friends apartment, and according to their paper work 30 minutes later my car was towed... from a visitors space. Not only did they steal my car, they damage the rear bumper in doing so. I am filing a complaint to start an investigation by the better business bureau in order to get this predatory company in check.

Parked in my boyfriends ASSIGNED parking spot that HE PAYS FOR and got towed at like 1:30 in the morning (he had literally just moved in 2 days ago). It’s ridiculous that the apartments and tow companies have this “deal” with each other to screw over the people that live in them! Also it was towed on Saturday night, I wanted to get it back Sunday morning but they are “closed” on sundays and was going to charge me an additional $92 if I wanted to get it back Sunday, and if not I could get it back Monday (but not without them tacking on another $40 for an overnight stay) screw these people and this sleazy “business” if you can even call it that and screw the apartment complex for being in on it, he won’t be renewing his lease to say the least.

I got sick and forgot to move my car from a street with a totally unnecessary HOA decree for no overnight parking. The posted signs had absolutely no info on who would do the towing or how you could retrieve your car and no phone numbers at all. After extensive research, and waiting for them to open, so I could fork over my entire paycheck (no joke) to get it back, the guy has the nerve to expect sympathy from me that his credit card machine wasnt working well and was taking a long time. I informed him that I was about to drive to Urgent Care when I discovered my car was towed so my give-a-damn was a bit busted.

How are you going to charge me an after hours fee when you towed my car after hours. Why should I pay extra because you want to have your drivers working after hours but nobody else. Have them not tow cars after hours!!!

Worst tow company ever! Unprofessional, rude, and straight robbery! Took them 6 hours to get someone to the office to release my vehicle to me. Had to pay an extra 100$ for an after hours fee because they towed my vehicle Friday night right as they closed their office and dont open again until Monday. So finally when they told me I could go get my car (at 12:15am) 6 hours and 15 min later after they towed my car they informed me I owed them $385 to be released my vehicle!! I almost was in shock! All Im saying is if your car get towed by these guys prepare for the worst.

My friend got her car towed and tracked down the location within the hour, and when she got her car back it was over $300 and her ipod and safe box were stolen from her car (which was locked) luckily the box didnt have money in it but youd think they already stole enough from her...

I just filed a police report!! I asked for all paper work I could get from western towing and we know who the driver is!! They stole things from our car even from my babies stroller. I will not stop until I get paid for my things paying to get your car back and also getting your personal items stolen!

They have a afreement with the motorhome park across the street. There are absolutly no signs posted for towing. Had my car towed right in front of my home at the end of a cul-de-sac. When asking about why my xar was towed(it had been in the tow yard just over an hour) the lady at the front desk grinned ear to ear ans had some sort of official rules of the trailer park memorized and said it was on all the signs warning you....I looked there are no signs posted. Enjoy your 300 dollars you thieves.

Got my car towed for no reason at 11 night. Friend had his birthday went to park at the visiting park to say hbd and leave which isn’t assigned for anybody and it took us less than 20 mins. They delayed us outside on the cold till 3 AM trying to at least get the keys for house and wallet, our stuff he refused and I’m guessing I’m going to be at the street because wallet and the keys are on the car really? No respect we talked to the person that is there who’s name is wayne an old man and asked why he was Vaping and paid 0 attention and asked to pay 370$ for a wrongful towed.Outside on the street. Can’t pay even for a hotel to stay, no food also because wallet is on the car.I have an appointment for college and test.

Would not let me get my work keys, causing me to lose over $6000 worth of refunds I had to give to customers because I could not get my Christmas orders out in time. Absolutely detrimental to my business and no remorse. How do you live with yourselves?

The dispatch staff on the phone werent helpful at all as they were laughing while I was on the phone waiting for them to tell me where my car got towed, the lady told me she will call me back after 20 mins to locate the yard where the car got towed since the towing guy wanted to pull a fast one on me by towing the car somewhere far, so I would get charged overnight fee . I didnt get a call back from the dispatch, and I had to call two more times to get a response on where my car was . After an hour waiting for the releaser to arrive, I got a call telling me he was at the site, and I can go there to take my car . I got there ASAP, but nobody was there, and I waited 20 extra mins for him to arrive only to get charged $317 because its an after hour fee . The car didnt even stay there for more than two hours, and it was only due to their delay and laziness . Absolutely horrible service from all the employees working there . I literally gave all my paycheck to get the car out, just because I parked my car outside my mobile house for 15 mins, and when I got out to move my car, it was gone .

I drove my friend to pick up her car. As soon as we arrived the man was very rude and abrupt, he interpreted us many times. He told me that I could not go inside with my friend. So it was just this man and a 20 year old woman alone. Awful company and awful employees.
