Absolutely horrible service. We had Cartwright out to tent our home for termites. From the beginning we had issues from not supplying us with enough bags to protect our food and belongings, to them running late. The employees who showed up late were extremely rude and unwilling to answer many questions regarding the service. They were very demanding on what needed to be done ahead of time, without actually giving us notice to prepare. They told us our safes among many other things needed to be left open which did not help us feel comfortable. I am very glad we removed the safes from the home because when we returned there were things missing. My son collects trading cards and unfortunately there were hundreds missing from when we left the house. The house looked as if a tornado went through it. Everything from the basket in our freezer being on our garage floor, to my wife’s underwear drawer being wide open and possibly gone through. Our outside flood lights were “removed” for some reason, but were damaged during that.***ALSO... WE STILL HAVE TERMITES!!!***I have killed multiple including one just last night. This whole thing makes me wonder if I paid this company to not do what they were supposed to, rather have a tented house to rummage through and party in. Please do not ever contact this company for any type of business as it will be a huge mistake.

They are always very responsive; every time I have had fire ants they are out there within 24 hours and typically the same day to treat. COMPLETELY HORRIFYING!! Cartwrights went to the Padres field and preceded to remove a hoard of bees. One guy climbed up in a beekeeper suit, sprayed them with poison, killed them all, and vacuumed them up with a shop vac. I know there are bee keepers in San Diego who are committed to SAVING BEES!! They could have called one to come and gather them and bring to a hive. This is completely INHUMANE! Everybody knows that bees are important to our lives and they are already dying from pesticides and pollution. Without bees there are no flowers, no fruit, no vegetables. Without bees the world can not survive. How could they be this ignorant? They are hurting your grandchildren and their future. OUTRAGEOUS!!

Breaks laws by not using killing spray on what the bottle says to spray on. Should take their licenses away. Killed honeybees, should have easily removed them. I remove swarms all the time with no veil nor suit on. They are not aggressive. SHUT THEM DOWN

Can you at least try to move the bees safely instead of killing them next time? Call a beekeeper! Bees are essential to our ecosystem and are on the rapid decline globally.

When instances of Colony Collapse Disorder are on the rise, theres no reason to kill normal, non-africanized Honey Bees. Honey Bees are one of the MOST IMPORTANT pollinating species. The State should sue this company AND Petco Park for televised genocide.WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

I was at the Padres game and they killed all their bees. My daughter took a beekeeping class this summer and she was horrified. I dont think shell ever enjoy baseball.

Gave two stars only because the lady who actually answered the phone was nice but couldn’t really answer my question because that wasn’t her area of expertise. She stated such, which I appreciated her honesty, and said she was going to transfer me to Melissa, then chuckled and said “I’m sorry she’s actually gone for the day”. I asked if she was literally just walking out wasn’t she and she replied yes. I told her that I believed I have something in my attic and she wanted to write down my information for someone to call me in the morning. I then said on the website it says that they’re 24 hours and asked if anyone could come out today. She said “only for existing customers”. I guess I’ll call around to see if anyone can help me this evening because who wants to spend the night with an unknown critter in their attic! Thanks Cartwright

Honey bee swarms should be relocated and not summarily killed. If the Padres told you to do it, you should have re-educated them on why it was wrong. You are an embarrassment to the pest control industry!

Cartwright Termite and Pest Control of San Diego (El Cajon) is truly the most dishonest, disreputable business I have dealt with in ten years of living here. Lying, cheating then wanting to be paid without even coming to review their poor work. I was charged $200/hr for an individual who told me he was being paid $10/hr (which was overpaid in my opinion as he truly had no skill in repairing wood or painting). Cartwright painted over their fake repair, and even the paint looked like a 3 year old as it was applied with a finger (the worker didnt have a brush). The repairs were not fixed, merely covered over, then I received a grossly inflated bill. Run folks Run. Hire a homeless person off the street and youll have better quality and do public service.

Do not call this company to rescue bees. They are a pest control company. Their specialty is killing pest and termites.
