So far, day one move in was a NIGHTMARE! our unit was infested with roaches and unclean/unlivable. I really hope to remedy this and update my review because we were shown such a beautiful living environment before moving in! The area is what attracted us and we would like to stay but my anxiety and stress levels are currently through the rough right now...

I wish i can select negative one million star here beware do not move here to this apartment they will never come for maintenance never never never and been here for two years and now they are using COVID excuse to not show up and fix things around the house my OVEN been out for a month at least and noone shows up am sick of it paying so much money for one tiny bedroom and it is hard for me to move out because I had been having family work emergencies back to back

I came today at 12:03 pm to the apartments office to put the apartment rent in the box, and I opened the office door to put the money order in the box, and suddenly I heard the voice of a woman screaming from the inside and saying to me to get out of here, and I dont know What is happening to her? I was shocked by her words and she did not respect me, I told her not to shout at me while I was standing outside with the door open. Just hold the door handle to put the rent payment, this thing is not respected by this lady, and she closed the door in My face is saying bad words, I don’t know why, and my wife and I were planning to renew the lease and stay here, but I will never renew here again.

Terrible response time for a lot of maintenance issues and since the office closed down because of COVID-19 its impossible to reach anyone in management. Ive emailed them and got no response. Ive called their number and been redirected to an emergency maintenance call center, then had my emergency maintenance call ignored for two months. Dont waste your money here.

Rancho Hillside Apartments are very pet friendly. We Have lived here for over 9 years all because of EVELYN. She is the best. My pets like the treats the office provides. Living here with all the amenities is like living in a RESORT. Gym; Pool; Movie Theater and best; COOKING CLASSES....AND Tennis Courts. Lots to do in this community.

I love living here. Rancho is such a great location and the staff is super friendly. Evelyn is so amazing! The maintenance staff is quick to respond, helpful, and determined to make sure everything is right. The community is super clean, quiet, and affordable. I love the gym, pool, and community events. Won’t leave any time soon!!!!

My husband and I have lived here with our two kids for a few years. We love our community. It’s quiet and peaceful. There are a lot of children for our kids to play with and we’ve made lots of life long friends here. Evelyn and her staff are beyond great. She’s always smiling with a fun attitude and helpful. We love it here!

I want to start by saying these apartments are one of the nicest apartments that Ive ever lived in. It is also one of the best well-kept places that I have ever lived. Whenever I have friends over, I get so many compliments of how homey my home feels and how they have so many amenities a lot of apartments lack. From providing services such as cooking classes & Zumba classes. To the tennis courts and having so much parking available for my guests to park in when they come to visit me. Two additional laundromats throughout each phase as an option to save on the water bill. I am extremely impressed with how the establishment is ran. Whenever an issue arises there is always someone there to reassure me that whatever issue I have will be taken care of in a timely manner. Evelyn the apartment manager who manages the apartments is always so helpful and goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I am getting the service that I am paying for. Ive never felt so appreciated as a tenant and never have to worry about not being heard. She is always so attentive and shows true authenticity when it comes to the well-being of my family. I have never had a complex manager care so much about who I am as a person and what my family needs to live comfortably. I truly feel that I have found my forever home even though I am just renting. I would definitely recommend he is apartments to my friends who are looking into renting! Keep up the good work guys!

Terrible customer service and Manager on site. Very rude and disrespectful. I lives here since 4 months I’m trying to get out soon as possible. The apartment has insects my kids are sick. Im a long time resident here at Rancho Hillside Apartments. It is a fantastic place to live. Its quiet, clean, and the neighbors are great. A big part of that is that, Evelyn the manager is awesome since she has been here there has been dramatic improvements to the complex.

My family and I have been living here at Rancho Hillside since 2013. We really enjoying living in this area because of its beauty, its about 25 minutes or less to downtown, and close to the kids schools. Rancho Hillside Apartments is a really good place to call home and everyone Ive met thus far has been really welcoming as well. Also since weve lived here they have updated the pool area with new furniture, the clubhouse has also been remodeled, and the weight room. The high light though for myself and my family at Rancho Hillside Apartments, is the property manager Evelyn. Since she was added to the Rancho front office things have been so much better. Evelyn has great customer service skills, listens, makes sure things get done that are needed on the property. Evelyn all around to me makes this property feel more like a home and just a place that you want to be. So if youre not living here already, you are missing out on a great community and leasing office staff.

It has been really great living here but the staff is always changing. You work with a wonderful staff member and the next month they are gone. I really wish we could have staff that would walk the property and assess everything that needs to be done. I understand we are in the middle of COVID-19, but it would be nice for them to get out and bring the property back to where it should be. It is sad that we have a tennis court but we can’t use it because the net is gone so it’s purpose now is a dog run. If that is going to continue, could the tenant/tenants please be respectful and pick up after your pet? It would be nice to have a basketball court there instead.

I’ve been living here for two years, and I won’t leave any time soon! It’s super close to an amazing school for my daughter, shopping, and the local library. Evelyn is by far the best manager I’ve ever had. She’s always around to answer questions and help her tenants. Her staff and friends respect her greatly!

I want to be clear I do not live here. I took a customer there and they like it very much and after reading lots of great reviews I felt they should have another 5 star from me. So for now no problem with giving them a five star rating. Hopefully it helps keep there rating up.

As a resident in the apartments, I truly enjoy being in this community. From the most friendly neighbors and staff to the comfortable atmosphere, I enjoy being here and inviting my friends over every day. Evelyn, our manager, is the sweetest and charismatic person and she definitely makes sure that the community is kept clean and takes care of the residents here. I love these apartments!

We are previous residents of this community. My husband and I moved out of state but then found our way back here. We had missed the peace and quiet of this community compared to others we had seen. My husband and I have been staying at this community for over 5 years now, and its because of Evelyn, the property manager. She has been and is so dedicated to all her residents and she is the reason why things have ran so smoothly. I know this because when she was out on medical leave, this place was so chaotic and almost every person that was temporarily filling in, didnt know their job and customer service, most importantly went down the tank. She will always listen to your concerns and has a heart of the Lord. I can continue to rave about this most amazing woman that is no longer considered a property manager to me, she is family to our family. She is always looking out for my children. If you want to be treated the best, live here.

Wonderful place to live in! First time Ive ever lived in a complex where its very well maintained and clean. All the hard work goes to the wonderful office staff especially Evelyn. She continues to work hard to make sure everyone’s needs are met and that everything goes smoothly. She goes above and beyond for the tenants, which is something that is unusual due to past experiences. As long as she is here il continue to rent, matter of fact we will be upgrading to a 2 bedroom pretty soon thanks to her and her wonderful personality. She isnt hard to miss if you ever decide to stop by rancho hillside, she is the lady that has a beautiful smile and always waves hello outside.And special thank you to the wonderful maintenance crew and office staff, thank you for always being patient and quick when we need you. You are appreciated!

Never thought I would be writing a review, yet alone a bad one. This place almost has 5 stars in reviews all within the last month like how great Evelyn the manager is. I wonder if these reviews were solicited to increase the ratings at this complex to hide the bad reviews at the bottom of the list. Its all fine at first, Evelyn the manager seems so nice and professional until you decide to put your 30 day notice.. then all goes to UNPROFESSIONALISM! She made Rude Remarks to my husband and I.. andsome odd reason there phone started to never be picked up because I would call 5 or so times and straight to voicemail! I walk in not even a few minutes later from calling, and Evelyn is talking to people about meeting them this weekend for camping or something, and other personal issues while the phones are still ringing! ignores that I walk in doesnt aknowledge to even say be right with you. Had an appointment for pre inspection that was scheduled with HER weeks prior at 4pm due to her being the one who did our move in inspection. The day comes, 4:15.. eventually 4:30 pm comes along, nothing. Went down to the office, again no acknowledgment when she saw me at her desk while on her phone. Another staff member was helping a current tenant and Evelyn tells that tenant in the middle of the staff member already helping to come to her desk and tells the staff member to handle the inspection! The staff member and I looked in shock of how awkward that tenant felt because of the situation she was put in due to Evelyn not wanting to handle her appointment she had with me. I received my deposit in the mail, and see that She deducted a carpet fee to install new carpet when the carpet was already old prior to move in And was no where marked on the pre inspection sheet! I was also deducted money to repaint the WHOLE apartment when the pre inspection copy just marked touch up on living room and bathroom wall. Evelyn deducting nonsense that was not written or marked on the original pre inspection sheet that the other staff member did is ridiculous! I even went into the office and she told me face to face she will email me the final inspection sheet. NEVER RECIEVED IT.Make sure you have Evelyn type a letter for EVERYTHING she addresses to you for YOUR proof so she doesnt turn around and back stab you later!Very Disappointed in how my husband and I were mistreated and how situations were handled.

Very bad customer service when we signed the lease they said will change carpet and paint and cleaning but they didnt we went to canceled our lease we lost a lot of money about this because we didnt have time to look at Another apartment too too bad

AWFUL! This property is managed by Willmark communities and go google them at read the reviews on Yelp because they are all true!! This company is rude and unprofessional and will not return your calls and actually will hang up on you. We just moved out of our apartment and left it spotless and we received less than 50% of our deposit. I was absolutely shocked to see they charged us 125$ for cleaning and 125$ for paint! There was nothing to clean or paint! We tried to have an initial inspection twice and no one from the front desk showed up both times! Also, they never pro-rated our rent for our last month and the manager kept giving us the run around about giving it to us and finally said it would be added to our deposit, well of course it wasnt. We have been trying to dispute all of this, especially the money they owe about the pro-rated rent but the company will not return my calls or allow me to speak to a manager. Save yourself a headache, unless you dont care to get your deposit back.
