Semper Solaris has been fantastic to work with. I just moved in to a new home with a very long driveway therefore requiring trenching for my project. Mike Berg was so incredible to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of my many questions and concerns. The trenching crew was amazing. Trenching is a messy part of the process and the crew were so polite, respectful, clean and quiet that I even bought them lunch. After sitting with multiple companies we decided to go with Semper Solaris. They were not the lowest price but our representative David K. did a great job explaining everything in easy terms and was there to answer all of my questions throughout the process. It took a little longer than I was anticipating but the final product is worth it. We finally have our own power and dont have to worry about electricity prices going up every year. Well where do I start. So Im a first time home buyer who does his research on everything as Im renovating my new home. Solar comes up. I get a few quotes from licensed solar companies all through SD. Then I came across Semper Solaris. The woman on the phone Billy Jean was so genuine and sweet about explaining to scheduling basically everything I needed to know as the project is getting prepared(Thank you Billy). Semper sends out their rep Named Mark Ivory. Wow let me tell you, he literally broke down solar exactly how I needed someone can. Since each solar company from the other bids and info I received; those companies didnt see the value as much as Mark and Semper which I really appreciate. Mark was outstanding breaking how much kilowatts etc for the home per month to year and the price beats all for how many panels Im getting while all American made which is a nice plus as well. I really Thank you guys Semper for treating a novas person on solar as that and explaining every detail because theres a lot that goes into solar from permits to panels per home and Mark just knocked it put for me without me steering over anything. Given the California fire hazards and potential electrical power losses, my wife and I decided that adding a battery to our existing solar system might be prudent. After substantial homework considering the options, and then severely testing the patience of Semper Solaris super sales representative, Paul Rampoldi, with endless questions, we signed a contract to purchase on 7-7-2020. Paul clearly explained, in writing and pictures, what the schedule would entail. Considering all the very unusual circumstances of Covid 19 virus, extreme state-wide temperatures and fire-fighting, plus support team family disruptions regarding school starts, etc., we expected substantial delays.Instead, our initial and very thorough site inspection, including roof and solar panel checks, was very professionally conducted by Alberto Quintero on 7-22-2020. Following all design processes and pre-approval, material acquisition and scheduling, actual installation was conducted on 8-21/24-2020 by Val Valdez and Eliseo Morales. Paul Rampoldi, the project sales representative, even went to the trouble to stop by to observe the installation action. The installation team could not have been more professional. Almost surgical in their approach, everything was clean, orderly, well-coordinated between the two and completed with precision. Not one dropped screw or piece of any scrap was left. Their work was immaculate and they kept me completely informed throughout.Post-installation and pre-inspection preparation was so well conducted by Aria Moeini that the successful city inspection was completed in minutes on 8-25-2020! Semper Solaris requested “permission to operate” from SDG&E and it was granted on 8-26-2020. It was a very smooth, orderly flow of events!The positive pattern continued on 9-09-20 when our UV unit was scheduled to be installed. Felipe Piche and Steven Steward called to confirm one hour prior to scheduled arrival time. They arrived exactly on time, described their plan, and completed the installation in less than an hour. Throughout, they were neat, clean, courteous, and exceptionally well-spoken in describing their work and operating procedures for the equipment. The worksite was left neat and clean!In my former profession as a management consultant and trainer, I worked very closely with every function and paygrade within hundreds of trade contractors in several states. I’ve never seen one more impressive than Semper Solaris has been in this endeavor! EVERY company representative has been on time, pleasant, courteous, well-spoken, very clear as to their intent and in their follow-up, and well-focused. EVERY person has pre-announced what I could expect, performed their function, then ensured that I saw and understood what had been achieved. Every step was prefaced by a call from the office confirming what and when each event was to occur, who would arrive and that they would call before arriving. There have been no surprises and every event has gone exactly as advertised. Chris, the battery guru in the office, has been super helpful in helping me with detailed battery questions. The finished product is a very neat, compact, clearly labelled package. See attached picture.

Very satisfied with Semper Solaris. I worked with David Kaul and got 3 other quotes from local and national companies. Working with David was a breeze. He knew his stuff and was patient to explain the pros and cons of different approaches. I appreciated this as there is always more than one way to achieve the objectives and he provided me with options. We wanted to maximize the panel coverage, while also ensuring we preserved the aesthetics of the tiled roof using a picture frame method. We opted for 27 panels installed picture-framed. I was surprised at how reasonable the Semper Solaris quote was and this is more a reflection of getting an honest at first pass than it being cheap as once I pressed the other companies they suddenly found 20-30% savings to compete. David quickly worked up the paperwork and let me think it over without pressure. We signed up and from here the process was smooth and straight-forward. Semper Solaris provided regular updates through email and David was on call to triage any issues. The install (conducted by sub-contractors) was very quick and painless despite a crew needing to remove large sections of my tiled roof. Panels and invertors were installed and all piping was painted to ensure it blended in with the roof/walls. The final inspection and turning on of the system went smoothly and David checked in to ensure all is working ok. Overall a really simple and pleasant experience for a large and complicated process. I would definitely recommend Semper Solaris and more specifically David should you need someone patient and experienced to help you manage the project start to end.

Rhami was a very good sales consultant, and worked with our request to add two more panels to his initial design. We really liked team Emilio and his crew. Marcos and Robert enjoyed playing Peters drums during their lunch break, which was totally fun. We were happy to share our oranges from our trees and Dutch cookies with the team. Overall we had a very nice experience and the Semper Solaris crew and staff were very nice, professional, and courteous. We would recommend Semper Solaris to anyone who is interested in solar!

I was very excited to get solar on my home. Just the savings alone was going to have such a big impact on my family’s budget, so we wouldn’t be concerned about those pesky electric bills. My husband and I had talked to a few solar companies, but it wasn’t until we had an educated consultation from Semper Solaris that we decided to make the investment. After our initial meeting, then the calls with the corporate office to finalize the plans, to the final installation we didn’t have a single issue. Once we made it to installation day, Matthew Ward and his team were beyond professional when answering our questions (regardless of how silly they were) with the final result and walk through of our system. I am so happy my family went with Semper Solaris for our energy needs. I feel like the relationship we built is going to be around for the long haul.

I was convinced that all solar companies were out for my money and the state tax credit, with no concern for my needs! I knew Semper Solaris supported Veterans and invited them to give me a quote. Wow, not what I expected! Dave gave me an education on the whole process and convinced me that outright sale was the way to go! He sized my system based on my average use and gave me a couple of discounts as well. He set up my system to be financed thru Wheelhouse credit union. Every detail was arranged, and all documents were electronically signed, in just a few days.They drew up the plans, submitted for permit, and came out to do the install in just 2 weeks. Austin and a team of installers were such a joy to have crawling all over my house! I asked that ugly exterior pipes be avoided, and they did! Not one pipe is visible on the outside of my home. I am so pleased with the outcome! I know they worked hard as they finished 3 pizza’s and a case of cold bottled water! I’m excited to get the app that will give me system operation details on my phone. Definitely 5 stars for Semper Solaris!!!

We were recommended to them by our general contractor. He was only doing up to drywall and did not include HVAC or solar. SemperSolaris salesman M.I. sat down with us and went over all our questions on Feb 1, 2021. After we signed contracts, he ghosted us via email, text and phone calls and only referred us to customer service. We signed a contract for 100% brand new roof, solar and HVAC system. They began tearing down our roof BEFORE permits were issued for our home project leaving our original wood floors exposed to the elements. It began to rain and leak on our wood floors. M.I. said he pulled favors to get the roof started with demo, and wouldnt address the rain coming into our home. A customer service agent said that if we wanted to pay out of pocket for them to come out and tarp our roof, they would come out. Our solar project was delayed by SemperSolaris from every stage. They based the solar panels on our old square footage; not even bothering to read the blueprints we sent them showing our new increased square footage and new roofline. M.I. miscalculated the number of panels needed for our project and when he reached out to us, he said we needed to pay for them. After giving him a moment, he decided to pay for them out of his pocket. Our HVAC project manager was a nightmare. He not only was verbally abusive to my husband and contractor, but wouldnt believe that he had to pull the mechanical permits on his own.C. S. wouldnt listen to our contractor, not we as homeowners and ignored us when we said that the City of El Cajon inspector notated on our project that SemperSolaris had to pull their own permits! We were assigned D.Y., a specialized customer service agent, who would take over our account and promised us he would inform us at every step daily with updates. That never happened. I requested that his phone calls were followed up with a summary email to ensure written communication, he stopped after the second call. Our trust with Semper was now non-existent as M.I., D.Y. and C.S. all had lied or ghosted us in one way or another. D.Y. stopped responding in a timely manner. Semper began installing our HVAC project WITHOUT obtaining permits from the City of El Cajon. The delays added months to our project. We had to not only pay for our SDGE bills, but also began paying on our loan for the entire project to the credit union. Our first payment was not until June 4, 2021. We obtained the permit for our HVAC portion weeks later and we set up an appointment with ENERGUY to test the system. We passed so it was time to schedule our final inspection with the city. We chose a Friday with someone over the phone with the city. Semper was asking for final payment again and we let them know that we needed an update on the reimbursement request and to be shown how to use the app on our phone to monitor the solar panels. They threatened to cancel our inspection and pull our permits. I looked at the website for the city on planned inspections and we were not listed. Our inspection was cancelled. I had to call the city and reschedule the inspection to take place the following Wednesday. When D.Y. called to confirm we had a new inspection date, we asked about a result for our request for compensation. (D.Y. had previously indicated he was going to submit the request to someone that approves these kinds of requests.) He proceeded to tell my husband that he himself made the decision to not grant our request. He had lied. He never actually submitted our request. It wasn’t so much that we didn’t get compensation, it was more that he misrepresented himself as someone to trust. Buyer beware, the loan through Wheelhouse Credit Union is a second mortgage on your home, not a simple loan as they indicated to us. When we went to refinance our home to pay off the loan using equity, the loan company was the ones that let us know what they did.

We had 3 other companies give us bids but we felt most comfortable with Semper Solaris reputation and our rep Kevin Trafford took the time to explain how they mounted into the roof and we liked that they are a solar and roofing company so we knew they would take good care of our roof. The crews showed up on time and were very professional. We would recommend to anyone interested in going solar.

Semper Solaris did a super job installing our solar system. Michael Gault our sales representative supported us all the way through the installation. We liked that they were veteran owned and managed as well as the fact that they are also a roofing company. Their bid was competitive with others and the installation took less than a single day. Our neighbors commented on how professional they were and how respectful of the neighbors during the installation. I had solar panels installed in January and the process went extremely smoothly, I was very pleasantly surprised! I got a quick installation appointment, the work was completed in a single day, and the crew did not damage anything and left the garden clean. My sales manager Mark Ivory was friendly, knowledgeable, and above all, patient as I sent him several texts, and I probably could have answered some of my questions myself by more carefully reading the material that he had provided me. So overall a very good experience, can only recommend this company and Mark!

The only issue was actually getting an appointment for the initial quote. Once that ball was rolling it was smooth sailing! Their customer service was super patient and helpful. The actual roofer was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He went above and beyond when he found more extensive damage beneath the tiles than we anticipated. Our bill was way more reasonable than wed been quoted from other roofers. I would 100% contact them again and highly recommend them to others!

This Company is a Joke. I could have made a baby in the time it took them to fail, fail, and fail again to deliver an approved plan from the city. Started October 2020 and canceled my project June 2021. my sales guy, Paul Rampoldi, seemed to start malfunctioning, spewing out incorrect footages for setbacks (doing a ground mount). I kept asking him details about the location for the array and he really was clueless and kept giving me incorrect info. Then their planning dept kept screwing up footage numbers and it kept changing over and over for set backs from property line and then later they discovered their would be a easement set back as well. Shouldnt these people know their job??? So I requested for a new person to work with and they gave me Nicole Laco. Shes very good at making it seem like the city is the only reason for all these delays. Never taking any Blame for Mistakes made over and over again on their inexperienced staff that continued to fail delivering a drawing for 9 months. So I told them to request a special variance. They didnt even know how to do it or what it was. I later found out on some notes on the plans that the city stated that they needed to apply for the variance in the correct way. So they never really did this. So then the company decides to move the location to another spot that, ALSO, wouldnt work. It kept inching closer to putting it on my driveway and behind and almost under an oak tree. I received an email with plans that were showing that the array needed to be moved based on the center of the easement, which I soon discovered they were basing the measurements off of my fence line which actually wasnt my actual property line. I kept telling Nicole that these guys obviously do NOT know what they are doing. I felt like maybe I needed to go elsewhere. But she assured me to continue my patience that they would get this done and ended up giving me 2 different dates, months apart, but they always failed to deliver and it just kept getting pushed back. One would start to realize that everyday its not installed, is more money out of my pocket from sdge. Months later, I receive a call from this girl Stacy and she tells me that my install date has been moved again to July 2nd 2021 from June 15th. I asked her why and she said we are still waiting on the city to approve the plans. I explained to her my entire story and experience and how frustrated we were. I expressed that we would probably be needing to go find another company if this kept getting pushed back but... lets see how things go. We agreed upon that note. The following day I receive an email that we later found out, from my project manager Tony, That it was Nicole who generated it. No signature at the bottom of it. She states to me Upon MY request to cancel the work, that they will be refunding my money. So I panic and call Tony. He knows nothing. I couldnt get ahold of Nicole or Stacy and I sent out emails and text saying woah woah I never said we wanted to cancel and to stop this from happening. I call into the main line and a manager calls me back and tells me they are terminating the job because I expressed to Stacy that we may need to look elsewhere and that may follow with a not so good review of my experience. Nicole texts me back hours later, as usual, says she will call me tomorrow. We chat and she tells me over the phone that she felt that I wasnt being patient enough with the process but if i had that would be one thing but since I stated the things I expressed to Stacy that she feels she needs to protect her employees and terminate the Contract. I did get her to agree that her staff is part of the problem. I tried to get her to change her mind by apologizing and said Ill just keep my mouth shut because 9 months is a very long time to just kick me to the curb based on some feedback. She said shell think about it. At this point, It feels like she is being super unprofessional and childish at this point, sends me texts terminating the contract. Shame on the staff at Semper Solaris mainly Nicole. Dont trust them.

After 5 quotes my husband got this was the company to go with and Im so happy we did! Installation was professional and quick. Follow up a month later with Courtney to make sure we know how to use/ read our meter. Very nice! Would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to go solar.

The short version is I was up-sold a whole home backup system with 21 solar panels and 2 batteries. After multiple install and fix attempts I ended up with a partial home backup system that was hastily thrown up on the wall. I had and continue to have many other issues and delays before, during and after the installation. When I have more time I will share more details of my experience.Update: It has now been 5 weeks since I contacted their support team and my sales rep with the laundry list of issues and no meaningful response. To add insult to injury, I did get an email today confirming they successfully charged the final installment of the $50,000 for this project.I waited to write this review as I wanted to give Semper Solaris time to address my concerns. It has been almost 4 weeks since my install was complete and I have been ignored, pushed aside and all I have heard are versions of we are looking in to your issues. Its clear the checks have been cashed so I am no longer a priority for them.I ultimately went with Semper Solaris over SunRun who was actually slightly cheaper because I wanted to support a smaller company and the veteran element was also important to me. I now completely regret my decision and its clear to me Semper Solaris has taken on and continues to take on more than they can handle in this booming Solar market.Details for those that are interested.1) The biggest issue now is during the sales process I was upsold more panels and a 2nd battery because I have a Tesla car charger in my home and I was told doing this would provide a whole home backup including the car charger and that was very appealing to me. I agreed and thats what is in my contract, whole home back-up. After the initial installation was complete my car charger was on the backup system and seemed to work fine. However about a week later a 2nd crew came out to fix a few things and I could hear them discussing amongst themselves and saying things like what they hell did they do?, what a mess. When I inquired what was wrong they told me it was wired incorrectly and they have to fix it. After an hour or so they told me the car charger could not be part of the backup system and they had to take it off. I told them it was working and I bought a whole home backup system so Im not OK with this change. They made a few calls and came back saying they could wire it back up the way it was but the system wouldnt work properly and it wouldnt be safe. The only way to have the car charger on the backup system was to upgrade my entire panel. Left with no other choice I asked them to do what they felt was right and I will take it up with the company.2) more to come ......

From our salesperson, Dustin Wilson to our project coordinator Michael L. Cognetti and all other staff members in between, we could not be happier. The installation went flawless and Michael and his team were able to answer any questions we had regarding the how, when, and wheres.The installation team was very careful in making sure the conduit runs and equipment was visually minimal. The guys really did a fantastic job. While the system was installed i December of 2017, we have not been able to realize the full potential yet of our solar system, I am confidant that it will produce more than we need in the upcoming summer months.

They gave me a specific set of numbers for my monthly and then it changed with the company that does the lending. When I reached put they basically said, “whoops they always change their policies. At least you’ll pay less once you pay with your tax return!” No accountability. Terrible. To think that I was referred here by an acquaintance of mine. However, the install team was great and they communicated thoroughly during the whole process. To them I’m grateful and the reason I gave two stars vs one.

I cannot say enough good things about the Semper Solaris team and our sales rep, Paul Rampoldi. Last year we use SS to install solar for our home. We had bids by 2 other companies as well. Both companies were significantly higher and the sales reps were pushyer than we liked. Paul was very professional listened to what we wanted and was never pushy. Once we committed to SS Paul walked us through the whole process. I was able to call him anytime with questions. The installation went smoothly and during the process the rest of the team kept me informed as well. This past fall I noticed an ad for the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP). This rebate program, offered by CA, is for a Tesla Powerwall backup system.The total rebate is $26,400. One way to qualify is to live in a high fire zone, have solar and your only source of water is an electric well. The first thing I did was call Paul Rampoldi to find out if we qualifies for the program. He was surprised to learn that we did not have city water or access to city water. He took our application and we qualified. Once again Paul and the rest of the team walked us through the process. At first I was concerned that because of COVID the CA would shut down the program and then we would be on the hook for the full cost. SS did not start the install until we had confirmation from the State and there was money set aside for our project. Prior to approval SS team came out and did everything they needed to do to prep for the install. As soon as this approval was given the installation was completed in less than a week. Again SS did not disappoint. The full team from Paul, office staff, rebate team and installation team were always kind,professional, answered our questions, were on time and returned our calls in a timely manner. I chose to go with Semper Solaris because they have a 25 year warranty and will replace the panels at no charge if something goes wrong. I liked that they email and text to communicate, more than by phone, so I can get to it when Im not so busy. Overall, everything went really well, from the sales consultation, the the installation which was really quick, to the after care. I would recommend anyone thinking about solar to give them a call.

Great job getting our AC up and running. We had Semper Solaris install a new condenser and redo the supply ducts. There was a problem with the amount of cold air in the output. Flipe Piche Jr. came out and diagnosed the system. Determined that there was a valve that needed to be replaced. He ordered it and installed it when it came in. He also noticed that the duct leading to one of the guest rooms needed a damper to reduce the amount of air circulation. He did not have that part on his truck but promised to come back with it. He did and we are good to go!We really appreciate Felipe for his tenacity in making our system top notch!

There are MANY choices out there for solar energy, and we spoke to a number of them. Semper Solaris is the way to go. They weren’t the cheapest, but our sales agent, Gary Phillips, answered every question in a way that made it easy to understand. After much research we decided to go with Semper Solaris for our solar. Billie our project manager took excellent care of us throughout the entire process.I really felt like Billie had our best interest at heart and was always so accommodating. She has so much solar knowledge it was quite impressive. This company cares about its customers and it shows.

When I was looking to get solar panels installed on my house, I had listened to two total proposals. Both proposals were a good deal. Let’s face it, paying anything less that what I was paying for gas and electric was going to be a good deal. The second proposal we listened to was from Mark Ivory with Semper Solaris who had an edge over his competitor. For starters, we held the cards and did not say what the other company was offering. Like a magician that was telling you what card you were holding, Mark told us what the other company’s proposal. Then proceeded to smoke their offer. The parts for the solar panel are made right here in the USA. Each panel cell operates independently so that is one cell is shaded by a tree, the others will still function to full capacity. I have also met the owner of the company who is a fellow Marine. I didn’t just go with this proposal because the people were great, although that is a plus. I went with this proposal because the quality of the goods and services provided are superb. As of this review, Semper Solaris has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I had retained Semper Solaris as the general contractor for my home roofing and solar projects. The roofing project had been completed to my great satisfaction as listed in my previous review. The solar project was fully completed a couple of weeks ago. And true to form the solar project was also completed to my great satisfaction.Semper Solaris was able to fast track both my solar project city permit and SDG&E net-metering permission. The solar project was completed much sooner than I had originally expected. The project team led by Billie Yako was punctual, efficient and meticulous and kept me informed every step through the whole project. Billie went out of her way to turn on my solar system production without delay once SDG&E gave its permission while our family was on vacation in Europe. I really appreciate that effort and I’ll definitely recommend Semper Solaris to anyone interested in going solar.

We needed a new roof...water stains on the ceiling told us as much. So we contacted several reputable roofing companies and in the process decided solar was also a great purchase. With several bids in hand, we chose Semper Solaris. It was David Kaul​ who took the time to explain the whole thing - tax credits, estimates, and all - and from there we spoke with several knowledgeable and personable employees who treated us very well from day one. The entire project only lasted a few days and the work and follow-up were A+. Feel free to get multiple bids, but none will match the quality of service, materials, and workmanship youll get from Semper Solaris.

When we were shopping for a solar panel system a year ago, we got a variety of quotes, but from the reviews and impressions of Rhami who came to our house, we were sold.Our project manager Billie Yako was truly amazing. Anytime we had any questions she was always there to address them.She made sure the whole process went super smooth and the installation was super clean. When we started installation,we indicated that we didnt want conduits everywhere, and didnt completely want the solar panels visible, and the installers did everything we asked!Couldnt recommend Semper Solaris more.

My recent business with Semper Solaris has been Outstanding. Due to the recent rainy season, my roof was damaged and leaking. I had five quotes with other vendors for solar and 3 quotes for the roof. I decided to go with Semper Solaris because they had the best price for both solar and roof as a combo. They also were veteran owned and had a good rating on Yelp and Google. I had to do research on the type of panels and invertors just to make sure that they had a quality product. Others countered and still could not beat the price. To start, my Consultant was Roland O. He informed me on the process, how long it would take, and the cost. I was given a military/veteran discount. Next, was Field Supervisor Cesar A. He walked me through the re-roofing project. That part of the project took about 2 weeks for the entire roof. Once complete, then the solar portion took place. Billie Yako, Senior Installation Coordinator, held my hand through the process, making sure everything was correct and on schedule. If I had any questions, then she would call, text, or email within 24 hours. The solar project portion took less than a week. SDG&E and the city inspection passed in less than a week later. Billie followed up making sure everything went smooth and insured that I was able to monitor my system online or on my smart phone. The entire project was done during the rainy season and was completed under 1 month from start to finish. I would highly recommend Semper Solaris.

This company is pretty competitive in the solar market and their customer service is good for the most part. The sales guy sort of goes hands off after you sign the contract, but if you message them, they will answer. My project was solar panels along with main panel upgrade. They do use subcontractors but you can have the option to not use subcontractors. I didnt do that and there were a few issues. All of them were resolved quickly by their contractors so their response was good. Because of this, i recommend you request to use only their employees. Everytime I come in contact with their employees, they were very respectful, wore mask, and communicative of their work.So there are some key things their subcontractors messed up one. The electricians for the main panel upgrade did a poor job. Got it done but poor quality. They managed to cut into my interior wall from the exterior. Luckily, no one inside or anything of value was against that wall. They didnt put back my rain gutter and the conduit for the main line on the roof was not weather proofed. they just spackled tar around the base plate and hole. I took pictures and showed Semper and it was taken care of within a week. They placed new shingles around and it was quality.The solar installation was done well and i had no issues with their quality of work and that was a sub contractor as well. The only gripe I had was the lady from that company. She was debating what is passable with the city inspector AS I WAS WALKING WITH THEM. The inspector dinged her for a rivet that secured a badge onto the front of the main panel. He passed it because it was small but expected her to come back and apply silicone over the rivet. Semper corrected it.Essentially if I asked for no subcontractors, I might of had a better experience. I gave them 4 stars because Semper fixed the issues that their subcontractors messed up on. Their response was quick and of quality. The solar installation was pretty fluid and deadlines were met besides the issues along the way. At the end if the electrician didnt mess up and the solar installers liason actually took in the inspectors markings and siliconed that rivet. I would gave them 5 stars.

So happy to have decided to use Semper Solaris to do the solar on our house. The install crews were great and explained very thing to use once it was finished. Our sales guy Kevin T was upper chill and answered all of our questions regarding the panels and the process. We have been up and running now for 2 months and my wife loves not worrying about what time she uses power since we added a couple of extra panels so we could be more comfortable. We highly recommend Semper Solaris. David Bell was our consultant and he presented a very solid, understandable proposal with specific expected results. We went with Semper Solaris even thought their bid was the highest of several we obtained because of their superior technology, theyre a local company and use American made products. The installation so excellent and so much better organized and smooth than I expected. Now a year later, we have had our first true-up with SDGE and the results exceeded Davids projection. We went from a month cost exceeding $200 to an average $5-6 monthly now. They are an excellent company and deliver as promised.

We ended up going with another bid but Josh D was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through the process of presenting Semper Solaris’ bid. Had we not gone with our current bid, we would have been happy to work with Semper Solaris and Josh.

To start off, we were really impressed with the crew. They called ahead, showed up on time, and showed up every day. They were very efficient and respectful, and cleaned up every day. We did have one issue, but it was fixed without any hassles. Sean, our job supervisor for both our roofing and solar project, kept us well-informed, and took care of any questions and issues we had, and was able to work with our schedule as we were traveling. Billie Yako, our project manager, also kept our project on track and set us up with a follow up appointment. We were referred by one of our friends that worked with Mark Ivory and Semper Solaris. We were so pleased that we even referred two of our friends.

We needed a few shingles replaced on our roof so we had a couple companies come out to give us a quote. Semper Solaris was the easily the most affordable. One company recommended replacing the entire roof! Semper was able to schedule a technician to come out a couple days after the quote and Drew handled it in less than thirty minutes. He also confirmed that my roof was doing just fine and not in need of a complete replacement.Would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future for any roofing needs.

I am a 15 year solar professional and while I am an employee I would not be here if it was not the best of the best. Over 100 so called solar companies in San Diego County I selected Semper Solaris because they Walk the Walk while others talk. I can tell my customers a build time and it will happen. What is most important in the industry is pay your bills so you can get the materials to build your next job. Thats what John and Kelly do,The other thing I like is I can tell my customers to drop by any time and ask to see an owner. There is a good chance you can because John and Kelly are hands on and go to work every day. Give Semper Solaris a shot. You wont be disappointed.

Good communication and excellent execution. The emails they sent me along the way explained everything I could expect during the project; and my sales associate Rhami was available by phone call for any additional questions I had. Semper Solaris’ workers were polite and didn’t step on my rose bushes. They cleaned up after themselves. I was always quite hesitant when it came to installing solar on my home. But when my roof began to leak the solar solution just started to make more sense. If they are going to use sub-contractors they should pay them on time. I have a roofer friend who has still not been paid. Hopefully they take care of their subs. If my friend gets paid I’ll remove this review. Not a fan of big contractors not paying subs. Also the public should know if you are using subs which in this case they certainly are.
