Zara salon and spa is awesome! They really understand and make sure that every customer are pampered and made to feel that you are the MOST important person there. Every attendant were corteous, professional and thorough. I would go back and definately recommend this spa and salon, the owner takes personal interest and good care to all the customers with love and care. And also recommends products and give away free gift stuff

Zara salon is my one stop shop for all my beauty needs. They take walk ins and appointments which makes it easier for me to go whenever I can with my busy schedule. I went to Zara for the first time, and had an amazing experience! I went in for a hair cut and blow dry. Asha took care of me and listened to all my instructions and preferences. For the first time in years, my haircut came out exactly how I wanted. Asha took care of my hair within an hour. Will be coming back!

It’s a very nice place to have facial. Ria does facial. and she did an amazing facial for my combination skin. She used suction, ultrasound thing. She concentrates on skin massage for about half an hour. It was amazing. The result was also so beautiful. I also did hair coloring. They were very responsible with my hair for coloring. They also maintained a friendly environment for the whole time.

Attentive and clean. Somewhat of a wait, but they were quick once I was attended. Really liked my haircut. Bummer it’s cash only!

I made an appointment and reached on time. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was told that they are short staffed and cannot do it and requested me to reschedule. I was relying on getting my hair cut before going somewhere and had arranged care for my toddler on a weekend. So this whole experience left me very disappointed and with my schedule for the evening ruined. Although the ladies were nice, this was very unprofessional.

These guys are pathetic. Especially the guy who does hair cut for women. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Had an appointment for the wife for cut and color and they messed it up by doing root touch up. No professionalism. Never going back again. Just wanted to post a honest review.

I had been there coupleOf times for grey hair touch up . Bhavana did an amazing job . Last time my visit for hair color was not good . The color they choose for me dint look good and they dint consider my choices . Overall very disappointed with hair color and it’s not looking good too on me . People can hardly see that i colored my hair .

My family and I have been coming here for a while now. They are under new management. Sue is our go-to person, very experienced and professional. We highly recommend Sue. The place is clean and nice. Plenty of parking in a nice strip mall. They also sell some nice products in the store. Great location, right on route 27 in North Edison.

She didn’t try to sell me anything instead corrected what I was doing incorrectly. And most importantly she gave me a very good haircut. Following her suggestions has helped me fix my problem areas.

Really really wanted to like this place. Close to work and has parking available. And going by the reviews I figured why not. One line review- its at best a 2 star establishment- the almost 5 stars is fishy! They fit me in the same day in early August for a color and cut. The one star is for just that.. I showed up on time and the stylist was working on the manager/owner. I guess I looked a bit destitute - its funny now but boy was I annoyed that day. From the start the tone was - condescending, not providing the information I requested (if I ask you what brand/line of color you intend to use - answer up because I know my hair better than you. And Im paying!) and a general disregard for proper mask wearing. Spent the most uncomfortable 2 hours of my life (apart from surgeries!) in this joint. Rami the stylist- dont ask me if I can maintain a cut, Manager lady- dont hover over me at the shampoo station to show me your purple hair, and both of youll for your sake educate your customer - answer their questions - we dont go to hair school but we do know what works best for us. How many times was I asked who cut my hair before going there? About 5 times! Im not the kiss and tell type - what difference does it make who cut my hair? If you found something wrong with it - fix it and ask me if Im OK with what youre doing to fix it. Not impressed by the negative attitude.. Post a clearly visible price menu - everytime I asked a question it was taken in the spirit of how much it would cost. NOT what I asked- I asked how much time the different processes would take - but thank you for showing me on the first visit that you judge a book by its cover - Ill take my (considerable) business elsewhere. And if all the above appears service related, heres my actual color review - the color job gave me a dry scalp, and I saw very many strands where the color didnt take - just after the first wash. Save your hair and your sanity - look elsewhere!

I must say I love getting waxed at Zara’s from my favorite lady Pretti she does such a amazing job doing my Brazilian wax /face and she always take her time! ... I will be continuing to go to pretti as long as I’m still living in NJ

Since moved to US, by default go to Indian Salon for hair and other needs but never found professional salon and stylist know our type of salon like we have in Mumbai. My colleague recommended Zara “oh boy” that was the place I was missing for years. I am so happy that she recommended me, now I can get quality hair work like I used to get back home.

I had tried so many saloons for haircut but I was never satisfied from their work. I visited Zara saloon a day ago and I was so happy from their work. They did a great job on my hairs. They did haircut, hair conditioning and hair color for me. My whole look was changed after whatever they did to me. They were professional and sareen was very cooperative and helpful in choosing a hair color for me. I will definitely go back only to them for all the services.

This place is great! I usually just go to place like Great Clips or typical Indian Salon on Oaktree road so this was one of my first experiences with Zara Salon. Right away I notice, their product quality is far better and you can tell people work their are very knowledgeable and qualified. My stylist, Izi took great care of me and was very detailed with my hair. The staff is very friendly and complimentary coffee provided to customers. Nice and convenient location in Edison. The owner, Sareen, came by to make sure everything was going OK and I left feeling brand new. The girl up front, Malissa was very polite and helpful in scheduling my next appointment and any questions that I had as well. Will definitely go back!!

My experience with this salon was a disaster i went for waxing, hair color and highlight. But my arms back side full hand hair left, Brazilian waxing lot of hair left.Hair color stain on my face still on my face, when I came home I wash my face and found lot of color left in my both ears. And she ruined my hair quality after wash my hair became so ruff and dry.Hair color and highlight also not done well, there were not a single strings of a highlight i can see in my hair, my friends, husband everyone said hair color and highlight not even worth of 100 $And she have charged me lot of money.This time I am very disappointed with services.Will never go back. AND NEVER SUGGEST anyone to go there.While doing facial sarin the salon owner she was yelling on her staff over my head.Highly unprofessional behavior.She sold me used protect was the hight of cheating on a client.

This salon saved my hair!!!!! I went to get a balyage done from another salon (that was apparently a reputable place), and that salon totally botched my hair - I was brassy orange! I called Zareen (the owner of Zara Salon & Spa) while driving home with the horrible hair, and she immediately had me come in for an appointment. She spent 2 hours on fixing my hair, and spent time educating me about the bleaching/toning process itself. I will never go anywhere else for my hair again.Side note: I’ve been coming here for eyebrow threading & waxes since I moved to Edison from Canada last year, and this place is the best in the area! Would recommend this place to anyone & everyone!
