I dont know about their general dental service. Itll be fine if you come for a regular checkup. But considering serious services such as implants, I highly recommend not going there. They are very irresponsible. I had two new implants last year. As mentioned below, one of them was loose, so I contacted them to fix it. They said the dentist no longer works there. So what, you dont care for patients because he doesnt work in the office anymore? Wow, I cant believe it. I think their doctors are not committed, so if youre considering serious surgery, dont go there. Anything can happen, and they wont take care of you. They wont provide any follow-up treatment. I will also report their negligence to the BBB. I heard from my dentist friends that its not rocket science, and if they have a tool, they can fix it in five minutes. The issue is that It is hard to find the dentists who use the same implant brand because different implant brands have different systems. I dont understand why they are so irresponsible. I contacted the front desk staff (she said she is a manager, but I dont think so) and waited for two weeks, but they dont respond to my request.I called today because there was an issue with one of the implanted teeth, which is loose. It is just one year old, but now it starts to be loose. Overall I was satisfied with their services, and this issue was not expected. Because I currently do not live in NJ, I was trying to ask what kind of screwdriver can be used to tighten it so that I can ask my family dentist to fix it. Otherwise, I should visit NJ to get it fixed, which is very costly. Anyway, for this issue, I contacted the office. I had some unexpected response from the manager. She seemed to be annoyed by my call, and found that she was confused with another patient. She politely apologized for this which was acceptable. However, it would be better if she could more patiently listen to my issue. She said she would call me back if she finds something she can do. I hope it is soon.

I am a new patient and just had my first visit. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The manager was very welcoming and answered any questions I had. The doctor is also very nice and took time to explain my x-rays and dental plan in detail. There was no stress and no waiting. Great place!

Despite being hit with a really inconveniently timed IT issues, the staff was very gracious with helping us out getting my dads implant finished which had been placed on hold due to the pandemic. Special shout out to Jessie, who accommodated us with making appointments and being transparent and helping as out as back as she could. Thank you!

I’ve been coming to United Dental for a long time. I had to get an implant and the manager, Mahwash, has been very helpful in helping me along the process. So far the procedure has been a success. Other than the procedure, I think the office and staff is very nice.

I was called by Jessi and she was polite and professional. The old manager was trash and had no idea what a crown was! I was so annoyed because it felt like I was at Walmart that was the level of education I was dealing with when I spoke to the old manager Mahesh. I am very happy that Jessi was able to change the dynamic of the situation and took full control and helped me!

This was my first time in the office. I found them through Groupon. I came in for a teeth cleaning and x-rays. The staff was so nice and welcoming. I love my cleaning. The technician was calm, and did thorough work.I highly recommend going to this office for your dental needs.

The place was well organized and cleaned. They were very nice and sweet towards their patients. The staff also were understanding and were easy to talk to. There was a new general doctor but he was very professional. The lady at the front desk was also very kind and pleasant to be around. Doctors were also checking up on me and was asking if I felt any discomfort. They do a great job on keeping my smile intact. I would definitely recommend you go to this dental group.

Mahwash is extremely helpful and considerate. I had broken my temporary crown, and she helped me book an appointment to get it repaired within the hour. The doctors are extremely professional, and work quickly and efficiently. Other dental places are places where you have to get your teeth done, and UD dental is where you WANT to be.

I dropped in here after not going to the dentist for a LONG while. Apparently, had 10 cavities. Moral of the story: go floss!I was able to get them filled over a few appointments, and front desk (Mahwash!) has been extremely gracious in accommodating my schedule and informing me of last minute openings which might allow me to get it all done faster.Dr. Kim is super patient and attentive, and the Dental Assistant (who’s name I didn’t quite catch) is much of the same. The space is extremely clean and professional; combined with the communicative natures of the dentists it’s such a pleasant departure from my last dentist!They’re following COVID protocols to a T, with sign in/disinfected pens/plastic barriers at front desk/ and socially distanced appointments.

I had an issue with my braces a few months ago and could not get in touch with my Ortho to get it done, luckily the manager mahwash helped me out and cut the wire and gave me wax for my mouth. She basically did my orthos job for him.I was in pain for a LONG time and eventually wanted to leave this place to get care somewhere else but again the manager helped me out when it seemed like nobody else cared.

I gave 1 star before because the old manager Mahwsh but Jessi turned around my entire experience! I am very thankful that Jessi was there to help me with all my needs and is very smart! Thank you Jessi~

My appointment was very thorough checkup and cleaning, although it is important to check and confirm when your appointment is. Make sure to keep tabs on your appointments, especially when you are a new patient!

I have visited UDG to receive plaque cleaning and it was a pleasant experience to make appointment, receive treatment, and nothing to worry about. Staff is courteous and prompt. The facility is also clean, spacious and welcoming.

I had such a great experience at UD Group! I have been to many dentist offices, but the amount of communication and clarification from their staff is great! Dr. Kim and the hygienist (Yu-ling) were both super specific in helping me form a new tooth care routine.I have to really compliment the hygienist, Yu-Ling for their work! They took the full hour to talk to me about my needs and they customized next steps for my tooth care. Yu-Ling offered specific recommendations based on my needs and was extremely kind!Mawash was super helpful with scheduling and was able to work with me personally when I requested a different appointment time. An overall great team with amazing services & communication!

Bought a Groupon for x-rays, an exam and a cleaning. Scheduled an appointment for about a week later. The day of my appointment, it snowed and the office closed. I received a call to let me know. Then, when I called 2 days later to reschedule (though I was told I would receive a follow-up call the next day), I was told by the same woman who told me 2 days earlier that she would fit me in quickly, that I would have to wait a full month!!! I asked why so long and she replied that they had no hygienist on staff until the end of the month! WHAT??? Then why are they offering a dental cleaning on Groupon??? They had to fit me in earlier for my x-rays and exam though because of the pain I was experiencing. When I got there, I was confronted with an absurd amount of technical and legal papers that I was told to sign and when I began reading through them, they actually wanted you to agree to be fully responsible for payment of all work that was suggested to me to be done. WHAT??? No. There was plenty of other sneaky language in these documents. I said I would not sign them and the woman shrugged and said that they didnt need to be signed. Then why was I given them to sign??? Then came the x-rays. Wow. The woman taking the x-ray did not even know how to put the neck protector on properly. She put it on backwards which made her need to take a 2nd one! All the while telling me that the x-ray was going straight through your head as she pointed to my forehead. WHAT??? Seriously??? What is this woman talking about?Then came me trying to make my 2nd appointment for my cleaning. I was repeatedly told no, you cant make an appointment now. Later. I had to call up the next day. Why??? The manager informed me that they had no hygienist on staff until the end of the month and that the same dentist that did my exam was going to do my cleaning. Then WHY did I have to wait a month??? And once again, WHY were they offering a Groupon for a cleaning???Also, I asked the manager if they had any payment plans and she snidely said no. Yet, when I looked on their website...wallah! It said they offered payment plans! Do yourself a favor and run, dont walk. There are plenty of other qualified, professional dentists in the area.

My son went to Dr. Hyoung Keun Kim, and had two wisdom teeth removed on Aug 25, 2017 in the United Dental office in Edison NJ . We are very happy with Dr. Kim and the entire United Dental team.My son always questions his dentist of the work being performed. He wants to know what exactly is going to happen to him thoroughly in advance. Dentists in general do not have the patience and time but Dr. Kim is different. Before the surgery, my son asked Dr. Kim about the procedures to be performed thoroughly. Dr. Kim answered my son’s questions patiently, firmly, clearly and with confidence. Dr. Kim also gave my son the option of removing one easy tooth first, and then let him decide whether he wants to continue to remove the 2nd difficult tooth. My son also asked the nurses to show him all the tools to be used, and to explain how the tools work. Dr. Kim and his team could have treated two or three patients with the time he spent with my son. I am very grateful for Dr. Kim for his patience and his ability. Dr. Kim and his team took the time to answer my son’s questions and address his concerns, which made it is possible for my son to move forward. Dr. Kim removed his fist wisdom tooth quickly and beautifully, and that leads my son to agree to move on to the 2nd wisdom tooth. My son will return to remove two more wisdom teeth.The United Dental office is very big. The coordinator Debbie and the manager Anika are inviting and helpful, and the nurses are kind. Overall the place is welcoming, clean, professional and provides excellent services.

Very bad of experience with root canal today, have to stop in the middle of the processing and do teeth extraction. It was a nightmare. Never recommend.
