I have been a patient of Dr. Menon for over a decade and she is great. I am not a big fan of the dentist and with her i feel at complete ease and I am fully confident in her abilities as a dentist. Ive never had any complications after any procedure she has performed from a simple filling to a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Menon will never steer her patients in the wrong direction just so she can make a quick buck. I would highly recommend her to anyone living in the Edison/central jersey area.

Dr. Menon is the best dentist I have ever encountered. She is highly skilled, works with outstanding efficiency, and has a fantastic bedside manner.I started seeing her when I chipped a tooth. I had always hated going to the dentist to the point of getting cold sweats in the chair and avoiding going at all. Dr. Menon was so patient, explained everything she was going to do before she did it, and was incredibly responsive to my needs during the repair making me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The repair itself was outstanding and I cant even tell which tooth it was that was repaired in the first place! Before I left I made a follow-up appointment and have been seeing her every six months for the past several years.Ive had some procedures over the past couple of years and Dr. Menon has always done excellent work on my teeth. She is honest and direct about what she feels does and does not need to be done. She has talked me out of expensive work that she believed was unnecessary and I feel my teeth are in the best condition theyve been in years because of her.A year after I started seeing her I began taking my (then) 8 and 5 year old children to see her. Both children love her and there is no struggling with them to go to the dentist or sit in the chair. She has a wonderful manner with them and they both feel good about themselves and their teeth when they leave.It was a godsend to find Dr. Menon and I only wish wed all started going to see her sooner.

I am taking very good care for my teeth first time in my life. Brushing teeth is not enough for you when you cross your forties. Dr. Pinali taught me how to take care of my teeth. She is very good doctor. She Deep Clean my teeth and I am feeling very light and healthy in my mouth. She gave me proper way of instructions for Tooth brushing and flossing. I have been having dental issues for past several years. It was my good fortune to be treated by Dr Menon. All the procedures were explained by her step-by-stepI had very focused treatment: The cavity spots very shown & removed during the course of treatment. Other points which I liked were preventive treatment (decay in early stages was eliminated) and advice (on the areas/frequencies of tooth flossing/brushing). The icing on the cake was that her office accepted and worked my high-deductible health insurance plan. Looking forward for future sessions and getting guidance on stronger teeth from you !!

We have been visiting Dr. Pinali for last 8 years. She is a very good doctor and is quite knowledgeable. The staff is also nice and works well on appointments. If you are on time for the appointment then there is almost no wait time. In these years we had quite a few changes in the insurance but never had trouble with any billings from her clinic.

That said, her responses are brief and succinct rarely leaving any patients waiting for their visit. There is the occasional chatty Kathy but I do not recall waiting beyond 5-10 minutes to be seen.Personality - Dr. Menon maintains excellent bedside manner between patients and throughout each visits. The positive energy and confidence helps me feel comfortable any work performed. She talks you through each step of the procedure: describing the ins and outs of whats taking place including comments on the state and/or progress of your dental health. A number of recommendations are always provided for any additional work with a detailed explanation of the procedures, timing, expected outcome, and of course, cost so that a patient can make the appropriate choice given all the factors at hand.Expertise - By far, Dr. Menon has been the most capable dentist I have known and she is always happy to share more background information on any of the related subjects. I am of the mindset that no matter how intelligent a person can be or how much subject matter expertise they may have, if they are unable to explain the concept in simple terms to a child, they do not have a complete/good understanding at all. I do not find that to be the problem with Dr. Menon. Dr. Menon and her staff are great. We have been patients for over 10 years and we have never had a bad experience. I have recommended friends and co-workers who have always found Dr. Menon to be the best dentist. And she is also very responsive and accessible when it comes to emergencies. Someone in the family once fainted and broke their tooth when they fell. When we called, Dr. Menon rearranged her schedule and saw us within a few hours early that morning and built them a temp crown that same day! You cannot go wrong with Smiles R’ Us.

After seeing all these great reviews about her, I decided to go to her. So I made an appointment but something came up so I had to call to reschedule. They said there is a charge of $50 for canceling the appointment. I was also told that their patients never cancel their appointments. So, I let them know that it is very unfair to spring this kind of charge without prior warning when I am not even their patient, and that I am no longer interested in being their patient. If you go to them, please bear in mind that they have a rescheduling or cancellation fee of $50.

Unethical Practice to extract as much money. Went to her to take care of a filling. She sat me on the chair to take care of chipped fillings(no issues of pain or discomfort before going to her) but put me under anesthesia and drilled into the roots to proceed to root canal without my consent. Unbearable pain after 3weeks. Beware she ruins your natural teeth to create a job for herself, even periodic cleaning can end up being a nightmare with this doctor. Sweet talker, take CAUTION !

This place is a scam. The dentist Pinali Menon is not honest and will try to scam you for more money by doing a terrible job so that you have to keep returning. I needed a simple procedure that she either wasnt competent enough to do or purposely did a bad job so Id return. Dont let the sweet talking fool you, she tries to pretend she has your best interest in mind. I went to her 3 times to fix her mistakes and each time she charged me more and in the end suggested a service that would cost $2000! My wife and I have been under Dr. Menons personal dental care since the turn of the century. Over the 14 years or so that we have known her, Dr. Menon has proven to be a good caregiver. She is sympathetic towards the discomfort that a patient might feel in the dentists chair and does her best to minimize it. I first met her after a dentist whom we used to visit in Manhattan, botched the job he was doing on my teeth. Was not happy at all with the service. Very Very disappointed with the service. I paid twice for the service that was not effective and needed further treatment. Instead of refunding the money, the dentist wanted to charge more. I felt really cheated and helpless and decided to never go back.
