When I first called to get information, a consultant discussed the procedures I was interested in with me over the phone and gave me the cost upfront. I really appreciated that. She spent a lot of time with me and was very friendly. When I came in for an appointment, a nurse talked to me and she answered all my questions, before met the doctor. The doctor was extremely friendly and personable. I would recommend this clinic to anybody that’s interested in laser procedures

Worst most uncomfortable experience. I wish I could give it zero stars. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I called previously and asked about getting stretch marks removed and they told me to come in and get a consult and that it would be $85, but it would go towards the treatment. Which would have been fine. When I got there I was brought into a tiny, non-clinical, office with windows exposing it to the lobby hall. The doctor asked where my stretch marks and I told them they were on my backside, thinking he would be bringing me into an exam room and properly and professionally examining them in a gown. Instead I was just asked to reveal my body in a non-private room which was extremely uncomfortable and again, unprofessional. He then proceeded to tell me he could not do the treatment until the fall because I was tan, which could’ve easily been mentioned over the phone. This “consult” lasted no longer than 10 minutes for which I was charged $85 when they could’ve told me over the phone I would not be able to do the treatment until the fall. They basically withheld that information to get me to fork over that money for no reason. I will not be going forward with the treatment, HUGE waste of money.

Kelly L you are an absolute gem, I came in today exhausted from moving and you were a ray of light. The Botox didn’t hurt at all and it was refreshing to see how passionate you are about your job and about my goals! Can’t wait to see the final result and I’ll be back when it wears off :-)!

I saw Dr. Zelickson back in May 2021. I really wanted to like Dr. Zelickson and his clinic because he came so well regarded. The entire appointment with him felt extremely rushed and like he wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible. The most disappointing part came later when I had a few questions about my prescriptions. It was impossible to get a hold of any nurses or medical professionals at the clinic to answer my questions. Three separate times I called the clinic, was told each time that I would receive a call back from a nurse, and never heard back. On the fourth try a week later, I finally received a call back after demanding to hear from someone. I have never received such sloppy patient care from a well regarded medical clinic. I went in really wanting to like Dr. Zelickson because I had heard such great things, but I will not be returning. I do not recommend Zel Skin & Laser if you want thorough, considerate dermatological care.

I enjoyed my two laser sessions at Zel Skincare in Edina. Very friendly staff - you can tell they care a great deal for their customers and patients. Melanie was an absolute joy. My only complaint is both times everything felt very rushed. I was interested in discussing other treatments and was shooed out by the esthetician on my last visit. They seemed very busy - understandable for how great they are. I had laser treatments to remove blood vessels on my face and overall, Im happy with how everything turned out. Not impressed. I was really disappointed with how they handle new clients. They made me feel like I was wasting their time. I left, went to Rejuvenation Skin Clinic (a mile away) and had a completely different experience. They were super friendly, helpful and very understanding to what I wanted and even saved me $ with the manufacturer. I highly recommend going to Rejuvenation Skin Clinic!

I had a peel this morning & everything from from start to finish was perfect. The facility is safe & welcoming. Quick check- in & then to a clean & quiet treatment room with a heated table. The treatment was thorough while also being relaxing. The result: I look & feel so much better!

But, staff recommanded that coolsculpting not needed nor will it give the result I desire because of fat/muscle ratio or some other medical term she used--I believe it. I was scheduled for a 15 minute consultation with Dr Zelickson to discuss laser treatment options for rosacea. When I called to schedule the appointment I was told that there was no charge for consultations. I was finally taken, 10 minutes after my appointment time, into a room with an assistant who asked why I had come. That surprised me since I had specified it when I made the appointment. But I explained again and we chatted for about 10 minutes. Then, even though I had filled out all the intake information online in advance, she said they needed to see my insurance card again. After another 10 minute wait, she returned and told me there would be a $150 charge for the consultation with the doctor. By this time I had already waited half an hour for what I thought would be a 15 minute appointment. I had other obligations that morning and I could wait no longer, so I never even got to see him.

Went awesome!! Grace did amazing and minimal pain. The staff is super friendly and everything went smooth!!

I saw Dr. Zelickson in my teenage years for acne treatment and he and his team did such a great job that they were my first choice when I decided to address scar treatment.It got started with a consultation and information-gathering session from a very knowledgeable, informative, and kind professional prior to seeing Dr. Zelickson, and then another consultation with Dr. Zelickson immediately afterward, and they quickly came up with their recommendations and were very up front about the costs, which were very affordable.I got laser treatment for my hypertrophic scar on my forehead during the same visit, which was extremely convenient. The procedure itself was minimally painful, and took all of five minutes. The entire visit was under an hour.They also were very up front before I received the laser treatment that the first treatment might not be my last, and that it would cost more for continued treatment should I not get my desired results. I appreciated that, as I had done my homework before my visit and learned the same sentiment.I am looking forward to the results. This is only half the battle, so the true measure of success is still undetermined.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at ZelSkin. I recommend it highly to anyone with dermatology needs of any kind. Best in class in the Twin Cities.

I did all my research and went there with the highest of expectations because they do what they do for a reason, right?I was seeking for help, guidance and comfort!!! I went there because Im at my ends and need their services and expertise and I got treated like a number. The Dr. Went through what she recommended and didnt even ask a thing about me or why I decided to reach out for their services. Its was not personable at all! Its important that I can feel comfortable again in my own skin...instead I felt like I was just another person complaining and she told me what will be at the pharmacy and directed me to the lobby and walked away...I hated it! I could of just YouTubed what she told me and felt 100xs better then what I experienced today...FANCY FOR NOTHING...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS, YOU NEED HELP..YOUTUBE IT!!!!

My dermatologist said upon the closing of their office that there was no place she would send anyone except to the Zel Clinic - but to save money I went elsewhere. Keely and the kind receptionist fit me in for a quick appt. to assure me I would not end up looking like Joan Rivers and she offered some additional tips to combat swelling. I will heed the words of my dermatologist and never go anywhere else again. The peace of mind alone will be well worth it. I made an online appointment for a consultation but found out via a follow-up email that I would be charged $50 to $80 for the appointment with an aesthetician. I scoured the website looking for a disclosure there was a charge but there wasnt one. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment since many providers dont charge for what is basically a sales pitch that you, the customer, sets up for their business. Their lack of disclosure of fee prior to any service (and there was not even a specific price...it was a range!!!) shows a lack of understanding of basic business ethics. If they want to bait and switch you with a consult, what else are they hiding or will they do?

I was very disappointed. I had been looking forward to my consultation, because I had some cancer removed from my cheek and wanted to see what could be done to minimize the scar. I waited a full hour past my appointment time, and was finally rushed into a room with an associate that offered no apology for the lengthy wait. She rattled off her well -rehearsed speech about laser treatment, asked me to remove my mask so she could see the scar, and then snapped at me to put it back on. The Doctor stepped in for probably a full minute or two, and asked me if I had any questions. And that was it. As the associate walked me to the front desk she said the consultation was 80.00. I left feeling like a piece of cattle. Definitely not a place where I would put my trust in people caring for my appearance.

I called in today to set an appointment, the lady who picked my phone was nice. She asked my insurance information right away to set the appointment. I asked, How much would I expect to pay for the appointment? The answer was a bit confusing and concerning. I was told it depends on complexity and how the appointment goes. I mentioned that I dont want to set an appointment not knowing how much I would be charged, I cant blindly go to an appointment and get charged a large amount for an appointment. I asked if I could be given a consultation or would I be told before being charged with a bill. I was told, no they only set appointments and I would be charged based on needs.I decided to try this place as they had good reviews, but I am not sure I would go to a place blindly and give my money.

I had dermaplaning and a lactic acid peel, and it was a spa like experience with great results.
