I attended Medspa Institute of America for both my esthetician and AP license. Both programs are hands on which I loved! I also loved how the class sizes are small! The staff is wonderful! They are always there for you during your time at school and even after you graduate! You also get the opportunity to use some really nice products and technology that you wouldnt get to use at other schools!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!! I had a class with the Carly while I was still in cosmetology school. Right after I graduated, I went to the institute for the basic laser course. All the girls there are so nice and welcoming. (especially Katy and Carly) I graduated the institute with my laser and aesthetics certification after 2 months in 2019. I have been working in this field ever since, and could not be happier. Best job ever. if you are thinking about it, DO IT!

Great esthetician program and instructors! If you’re looking at the laser program I would suggest to go somewhere else. The laser program has an amazing instructor but Carly the CEO will do anything to get money from you. She calls it an “internship” when it’s really you working for her for free until you pass your 8 week grace period and you pay 100$ a month if your a student in another program there or 200$ a month if your not a student in another program at the school. If you don’t finish these quotas in 8 weeks. (These quotas are not required by the state of MN) Times are VERY hard as we are in a global pandemic and Carly does not seem to care how hard it is for her students to not only get clients in, but also how hard it is to make these monthly payments. You pay 10,000 dollars for a two week course and go on to spend hundreds more just to work for her. She will always say it’s to benefit you but at the end of the day and thousands of dollars later, it’s strongly feels like it’s about getting money in her pocket. Students have brought up these concerns but nothing has changed which makes students upset and sad.This is not just how one student feels, this is how every other laser student I have spoke to feels like.To make it clear, the instructor Jordan is the absolute best though!

As a mother of a student I have done my research and overall this is the best laser training, I can’t give it enough stars. The machines and training are top of the line, the internship is a way to get laser experience other schools don’t have and Carly along with all the teachers are amazing! My daughter finished her full training there, is now in the field and I still feel this way.

I attended the Medspa for the Advanced Practice Esthetician program. Great supplies / products compared to other schools. The instructors are great, Borah is so helpful and knowledgeable. It teaches you to be on time, professional and prepared for what’s next.

I am so happy I decided to come to the MEDSPA! You can really tell the whole team including the students really have a passion for this line of work. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me and I am so thrilled MEDSPA was apart of it!

Edit:I just finished my laser internship at this school and I loved my experience and would not trade it for anything else in this world!After aesthetic school, I landed a job at a medspa and even though I was provided training at the job for the laser devices, I still had laser questions that were unanswered. I felt so lost and not confident and I was not willing to risk my licensure and reputation by hurting clients. We had no one of senority at the job who can educate. This is one reason why I decided to move forward. I originally came prepared with a list of questions and now each question has been filled with an answer!😍 This laser program is amazing because of how much hands on experience you will get. You will get to learn how to set the device settings to match each skin type so you dont end up hurting clients because that would be unethical, also so that clients can see maximum results within each treatment. Youll get to learn how to create a skin plan and add in your expertise to get clients get to their skin goals which is a real life lesson that will build your clientele. Youll get to learn different techniques thatll help you create your own pattern with getting the job done effectively. Just being here I have learned how to chart, how to market, device education, what clinical endpoints should look like, etc.At the beginning, I compared this medspa with other laser schools because this sounded almost too good to be true. I would have to agree that this school is by far the best. Once youre done with theory, your internship is customized to your personal schedule. I worked a full time job and still managed to to complete the course. For anyone who has a busy schedule, it is ABSOLUTELY possible! What makes this school stand out is that after your internship, you can choose to stay for their continuing education program where you can get more hands on training until youre comfortable and confident. Lets say even after graduation, you can most definitely come back! Also to say that this laser course not only teaches lasers, but other medical devices which will put your experience ahead of others.Because laser class sizes are quite small, I love the one on one time time you get with the instructor. The instructors are so knowledgeable and easy to work with. Each instructor has a unique personality that sometimes it just clicks hearing the info from one VS another. They all bring in different techniques which will widen your expertise. Also to say that this is covid safe. I love the fact that this school is so diverse in every way. We get to work with different ethnic backgrounds and different skin condition. This school is also a combination of different programs. Sometimes we work with students from other programs to fully understand different types of skin lesions and the medical terminology where itll be practiced in real life setting or even for visual learners. Im a licensed AP aesthetician and I found that this laser course also helped me understand skin with a whole other perspective and understanding medications that may contraindicate with each treatment. Moreover, this school is welcoming to all genders.The front desk deserves their own paragraph. Girl when I tell you they go through thick and thin with you, THEY GO THROUGH THICK AND THIN WITH YOU! They work so hard! Theres so much responsibility that happens behind the scenes that they do an amazing job not letting their jobs affect them or the students. Theyre always on the go and they deserve their own appreciation♡Overall if youre looking for a laser school or are interested in a laser program, I would reccomend this school! Not only do you get the most bang for your buck, but you also learn so many new and updated modalities. This school has exceeded my expecations. At the end of your schooling, no one stays a stranger. We all support each other. Remember to stay focus. Carly and the instructors put your education first! Remember that every step you take in life means something and you can ONLY become better!

I have been to the Med Spa 10 times now! I have a daughter who was enrolled in the laser program and now is currently in the Esti program, so its given me a great opportunity to get spa services at a reduced cost. I would not have probably done these services elsewhere as I really didnt know what some of these services were, so this has broadened not only my horizons, but hers too! The staff/teachers are always very friendly and now are calling me by my first name! They always are there to answer questions and give recommendations as to what else they think would be a solution to the problem.The schooling offers a flexible schedule with a somewhat work at your own pace attitude along with giving the student responsibility and an outlook as to what the working world is going to look like.I would recommend the MedSpa not only for spa services for yourself and friends, but also anybody interested in pursuing the career.

Just finished classes at Luxury Laser and it was the best experience and decision EVER!! The class sizes are small, that we all get hands on experience with all of the systems and treatments, which is the best way to learn. The teachers and staff are amazing, so friendly supportive and helpful during the entire duration. This is the only medspa school in the country that offers an internship and I have found this to be so incredibly helpful. I can’t image doing another program. Learning theory and having hand-on practice is paramount. The courses, equipment, and especially the staff are what puts this school miles above the others in the field. I am so very thrilled and excited about my NEW career as a Medical Laser Technician!This past January, I was contemplating attending an Esthetician course and checked out the local schools. I made a series of impulsive tattoo commitments at the ripe age of 18, and THANKFULLY I was able to reverse it at the hands of Luxury Laser. My husband actually went in first, and after hearing how easy his experience was I figured why not. It was really quick and effective . Suuuuper pumped for my next round of lasering! The first tattoo I treated (which was poooorly done) faded SO MUCH, its insane. I had them treat another tattoo that had been professionally done and it definitely faded but will need a few more zaps.

Best in the business! Highly recommended! Training is top notch at this place.

Teeth whitening was quick and easy guided by Carly! Much better whitening experience than anything I would have done myself.
