Probably the most organized and clean nail spa I have been to!!!! Everyone is super sweet and Jay, who did my nail gel manicure, was amazing. No bumps or patches whatsoever— completely smooth and solid! Definitely the best nail spa I have been to in area.

Great service, very organized and well managed. I got a 15 min chair massage while my nails were soaking and it was the BEST chair massage I’ve ever had! Missing one star because of the varied experiences I’ve had with different manicurists but overall my experience has been very positive!

Tried a few nail salons in the edgewater area horizon is def the best! It is a bit on the pricier end but worth it. Jenny is my go to for gel nails, she does an excellent job at filing and really takes her time!

Got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Mani: I asked for designs and Suki did a great job and was great about finding the right colors. I wish they did a soak before the actual gel so they get my cuticles better but not a deal breaker. Im a healthcare worker so my hands are a wreck as it is.Pedi: standard for the most part, wish they did a bit more scrubbing of my heels.Def will go back. Very clean place.

I went in for a gel pedicure and my sister for a regular pedicure and they did a great job! Everyone was friendly, the place was very clean, and they did a very thorough job. My nail tech Alex did a really great job on my feet and took his time.

So many nail salons around... but Horizon is definitely the BEST around. BOTH female and male staff are ALL professionals, friendly (remembers you!), laugh and joke between themselves. Ive been going since they first opened. Have found my preferred technicians for pedicure and manicure ans stick with them always although they are all great. I always make an appointment and am taken care of as soon as I walk in. Really lovely place to relax.

This place is overrated because its located in Edge water, NJ. I recently got my nail & feet done and you can tell that everyone had a different way of doing things. My pedicure was good but not the best. My manicure, was dud and was done with no water. The technician was extremely rough, and disregarded how I was feeling when she was shoving my cuticle and cutting them without the use of water that would have softened my skin. To my surprise, I paid $90 for a mediocre job & I would NEVER EVER go back to this salon. Never judge a book by its cover, because boy was I fooled by the environment.

Sophie did great job, my nails are thin, even and most important she work fast.

I spent $45 for SNS powder gel and she only applied ONE LAYER! A few days later the gel started to chip off. What a waste of money! I will go back to my old salon 35 minutes away! Very disappointed since I gave her a $20 tip!

Horizon Nails Spa, has to be one of the best Nails Spas in New Jersey. When you first walk in everyone looks up and greets you with a smile. I have been there several times and not once have I ever felt unwelcome. David does my pedicures and he is amazing and very meticulous. Same thing with Jenny, who does my Gel manicures. I had Jenni for my shellac manicure. It was the best manicure Ive ever had. She was so detail and precise, gave me some color advice, my nails came out amazing and lasted weeks. Very happy

Not satisfied with my nails... went there for manicure and gel clear polish and the manicure talk ne into get on top to extend my natural nails a bit longer.. thought it was going to be ok but after shes done it was all thick and shape was all lean.. was not happy at all very expensive they charge me $ 100 and i took them off the next day wasted of money wouldnt go back are let Cherry the manicurist do my nails again

Wanted to love this place but it is over priced and horrible quality. I normally get gel powder manicures and decided to try this salon because my friend went. My one nail broke and chipped after 3 days. I went back to fix it and 3 days after the same thing happened with the same nail. They charged $7 to fix my one nail instead of doing it for free since it broke 3 days after getting them done. It’s been one week since I got them done and I have two broken nails and 3 chipped. Normally my nails last with gel powder and never break or chip I can go almost 4 weeks if I had to with out them breaking or chipping and for less money at Noble Nails in Edgewater. Going back to my other salon. Only good thing about this place is that they are very nice and had more color options in gelPowder.

I was directed to Max he is a young gentleman, honestly thought was going to walk out not liking them. Instead it was THE BEST gel manicure i have ever had. So clean and perfect. I’m so satisfied. Definitely going back.

... I had a gift certificate good for a year from the former owner. They refused to honor even a part of it. I thought it was bad for business. I wont ever go back there and I will tell the people who gave me the gift certificate not to go there either.

Perfect pedicure but my nails didnt last 1 week. One chipped after 4 days and 2 broke in less than 1 week. The ladies are really nice. Will only go back for pedicure

Extremely clean & safety always first

I ended up paying over $100 for my new set of acrylic nails only to have them break on me a week later. This place is overpriced and overhyped for the quality of the products. The staff seems to be overwhelmed and not skilled enough to fulfill simple designs. First and last time I will be coming here. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to find a decent nail salon anywhere in this state.

I went here for the first time yesterday and my lady was a very nice person. However, while she was cutting my cuticles she cut my skin off. After she did she kept on filing by where it was bleeding and now the area around the cut is swollen

I visited for the first time last week with no appointment but the crew could provide me with the manicure and pedicure I wanted. They were all friendly, the salon was cleaned and well organised and I shall defiantly be revisiting

Nice place but the lady did my nails so bad like horrible. manager knew i was upset and didn’t even come over to see why. just spoke in their language about it. my hands looks like two different hands NOT ONE NAIL IS THE SAME! First and last time i go there.

Disorganized, too expensive. Pedicure fair, manicure horriable. She was rushed did not soak my nails so cuticles were a a mess. Had to do three nails over. Four of us waiting ten minutes for manicure. One woman complaining about a gel taking 1.5 hours which included wait time.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Different price from 2 different ppl, for the same procedure. I asked for acrylic ombre nails... the owner told me $60, later the employee told me $80 and ofc they started talking between them to come up with $70 final price!!! Seriously?!!!!

Mmm... a definite nogo for me. I have been to many different nail salons in Florida, New York, and all over New Jersey. While the location is nice and has plenty of parking, it all comes down to the quality of service service service. I did not like how the employees of the salon kept talking to each other in Korean in front of customers. In my opinion, I think you should always speak in English especially when youre working with a customer. I see the ladies working with customers and constantly speaking with their neighboring co-worker, which I think is very unprofessional.Next, if Im paying $25 for a pedicure, I expect the service to be at least 25-30 mins; it was finished in 18-20 mins. Pedicure foot massage was very rushed. Im not expecting a long massage, but even for a short massage thats included in the pedicure, please, do it right or do not do it at all and lower your price, if anything.The polish job is poor; not a big deal getting it on my skin as long as you clean it off (this is normal and I get that it can always happen, but the technicians should have the experience and THE EYES to see it and clean it off; its on 5 of 10 of my toes).Some good things that I can still say would be that they have a great selection of polish, the space is larger than it seems, and the technicians are friendly.Whoever is reading this review, you do not need to agree with my personal thoughts. I just wanted to leave my review based on what I experienced, and I get that we all have different opinions. If this helps others, great! If not, please, by all means, enjoy! :)
