Went for her first puppy grooming appointment earlier this afternoon. she was super cute and fluffy beforehand. after ONLY asking for a trim around the eyebrows and TRIMMING on her paws, private areas, and belly, this is what we got. they shaved her face straight down to her skin and gave her a receding hairline it looks like. obviously she’s still our little puppy, but we will never be going back to them. totally did a BOTCHED job. so angry

Love the layout, called ahead for a 40 gallon breeder tank. With my bad back i knew i couldnt lift it. Fortunately, the sales clerk called someone and they brought a hand cart with and even helped me load it in my car. Even the customers were polite! Great service, good help from employees, would go back

We had the absolute worst grooming experience. I made an appointment for my puppy, they even texted and called me the day before to confirm. I live about 30 min away from the location and by the time I get there to my scheduled appointment time, they tell me they had to cancel my appointment!! They called me 20 min before my appointment time, when I was already driving, and obviously couldnt answer. Totally unacceptable, they proceeded to tell me they are booked for the day and there is no opening until the following week. I asked to speak to a manager and even she feltt that calling me 20min ahead of time was enogh notice to cancel. They were rude and not even trying to be accommodating. Their suggesting was that they could offer an appointment in the late afternoon but she would just be in a kennel the whole day and they couldnt take her out for a bathroom break at all. After long debate, I finally negotiated that day will comp her for a stay in the dog hotel until they could squeeze her in that same day. Overall, probably the worst first grooming experience and no way we will ever be back there.

I like Petsmart in Eden Prairie because they offer a variety of puppy food. She eats the Rachel Ray dry and wet food.They have doggie day care if I need to go shopping without her. She is frightened and anxious around people so she needs Training from Libby. My Libby is only 6 months old and has lots to learn. Well be back soon.

Very unprofessional. Was told they had an availability the next day. I went to ask them if they had current vaccinations on record. The person on the other end suddenly said oh sorry someone else just booked this spot we don’t have another opening for a week. Judging from other reviews you are probably better off finding a groomer that actually wants to provide good service.

Bought two 100 watt mercury vapor bulbs and brought them home to put them into their fixtures. 1 bulb sounded like a maraca and the other looked like a standard flood light (had 120 watts written on the bulb). Go to Pet Supplies Plus just down the road rather than here (when we called to notify PetSmart of the issues, we were recommended to go to a competitor anyway). We had a much better experience elsewhere.

Took my pup for both grooming and training and both were absolutely terrible. My pup had been previously trained so I just wanted to work on skills and socialize with other pups, but the trainer was horrible. All the dogs were barking and trying to pull and one was even more aggressive because it was a rescue, but instead of trying to work with the pups she opted to put mine in a gentle leader. Her reasoning was that “I can’t control him” even tho he was pulling just like the other pups and claimed that he could do everything other dogs could with the mouth thing on. He obviously couldn’t because he had a hard time breathing and couldn’t fight back when the other pups were let off the leash and barked/went at him. She also would subtly call me/my pup out, and was overall very close minded especially for someone working with young pups. I understand that everyone has their different opinion and view on mouth guards and I respect her professional opinion but I do not believe this was necessary in my pups case and I think she could’ve been a lot more patient. To top it all off, whenever I brought him to the groomer at this location they didn’t file his nails and barely washed him right. (For the package I paid for he was supposed to be conditioned but he felt nothing like conditioned and I know because I’ve taken him to other pet smarts and they were way better). Overall I do not recommend this location or their trainers. I am appalled by their method of training and absolutely will not be going back.

Went for the puppys first playdate with my 10 week old golden retriever, he really enjoyed it and it looked like they were very attentive and made sure there were no problems.

Truckers: Blind side backing, but manageable. Come in behind mattress firm, otherwise you will not be able to hit the dock. Again, the staff is pretty cool and theyre fairly quick about getting you out. You can leave via the non mattress firm side.

I visited on a quiet Tuesday morning in the first hour after opening. Staff was busy cleaning and stocking shelves but they were not too busy to help me find a good soft food for my dog that is at the dog dentist right now. There were so many choices but a nice woman helped me narrow things down and I left feeling confident that I had the right thing for my dog. High marks.

My wife had made an appointment to board our cat this up coming week. We have the paperwork and confirmation number printed out. When my wife called today to confirm this appt (because we had to get our cat’s paperwork in order), they had absolutely no record of our booking. Talk about a pain in the arse!!! Now we are scrambling to find alternatives. Not sure who’s in charge of the booking but this is completely unacceptable. Our cat’s name is Loki (for your eyes, Petsmart).

Took the dog here instead of my regular groomer. Figured it would be fine and was hoping to save some money. Any amount of money didn’t matter because the puppy had to be taken to the vet today because his eyes were super red. The reason for his red eyes? The groomer here choked him during grooming. I am disgusted and appalled that any employee would treat an animal this way.

The doggie play is great!!! My dog is a personal service animal for me. He trusts everyone there, and we are very very close. He comes home and takes a 2-3 hour nap!!! You gotta love that!!!

So my pet was scheduled with Megan for a grooming appt. Everything from the drop off-to the phone call to pick up my dog was fine. I was told that the appt would take anywhere from 2-3 hrs. My dogs appt was at 1:30pm and she had a full bath scheduled plus teeth brushing. I got a call at appx 2:54PM saying that my dog was ready to be picked up. The moment I talked to Megan she had an attitude. She started to explain the how the visit went with my pet but then stopped in her tracks and I asked her what she had said. She then said never mind then hung the phone in my face. I proceeded to call the store back, transferred to the grooming department, someone picked up then hung up the phone again. I just hope this woman finds a better attitude within herself because that there is not professional and I probably will not bring my pet back especially if its to work with her.

The store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and inviting. I’ve adopted a cat from here before, purchased two fancy geckos, tons of fish and even two parakeets. I purchased an awesome fish tank around Black Friday along with a great bird cage. I haven’t found something I’ve needed for any of my pets that wasn’t available here. My parents even use the doggy daycare sometimes and have had no complaints!

This is one of the cleaner and most well stocked PetSmarts Ive been in. They had a good selection of cat food and toys and the staff was helpful and seemed pretty friendly.

The majority of the dog toys available are made in China, all by the same company. I wont buy anything that comes from there. You need more variety, cause I know I am not alone on this.

Dog food, cat food, treats, dental items, toys, clothes for dogs to stay warm in winter, fish, reptiles, pet boarding, Banfield clinics, per grooming, they have a lot for your pet.

This is a well staffed freshly updated store and clean on the inside however, I wish they would literally hose down the front sidewalk regularly as there is always urine on the pillars by the front door. I think if you accept pets on the premises you need to accept the responsibility of cleaning up after them.Pay attention to prices because sometimes ordinary things can be overpriced.I also wish they would replant some of the trees that used to be in the parking lot medians. Now theyre just stumps to be tripped over. Not to mention the dog feces in the medians.

Regular customer with their grooming service for years with multiple dogs. It was great until recently. We have a senior dog that has occasional issues with standing stability and was refused future service. Very poor communication and handling of a delicate situation. Will not come back. Strongly recommend against this grooming location if your dog has special needs.

We dropped our service dog in training off for a day at the Petsmart Hotel in Eden Prairie, MN and when we picked him up 3 hours later he was at the Banfield pet hospital with 6 staples in his hind leg. All we have been told is that it was not from another dog. The store is refusing to show us the videos, give us a copy of the incident report and will not speak about the incident with us. They specifically said if we want any information to get a lawyer. I will never use PetSmart for any of my pet needs.I dont even give this store 1 star but had to pick one.

Dropped off a healthy dog and three days later picked up a very sick dog. Now 5 days later hes finally eating and not running out the door every hour with convulsive diarrhea. After using Petsmart hotel for several years, we wont be back.

Was there today to get a prescription of heartguard for my dog. There were 3 people waiting for over 20 minutes. Nobody to be found? I did see a worker walk by with a plant though. I left the store and will never go back! Terrible service! Well no service I guess? I will take my business elsewhere!

The staff are always friendly and the store is always clean. Customer service is never an issue whether its the store, grooming salon, or vet clinic.

Really good selection of small animal food and supplies. They have oxbow/name brands and their own store brand. Ive onky used the treats in their store brand but no complaints from the little guys so far. Staff is nice/knowledgeable but service can sometimes be slow.

Has a wide variety of supplies for a wide variety of animals. I have a cat, dog, and bearded dragon so its nice to get everything o need from one place. Also quite clean and the employees are very nice also.

I go there with my girlfriend, to get her dog& cat food, litter. Most staff is quite friendly& knowledgeable. They genuinely care about animals, providing a quality service for patrons& giving the many animals a clean& comfortable living situation for the many different breeds of animals. They have a pet hotel, adoption program, pet grooming, training classes. Associated veterinary clinic. I recommend them highly!

Store is nice, cats in cat room are 10/10. Very soothing to visit during midterms. Spent an hour with those sweet babies, just the stress relief I needed, highly recommend for the anxious and the overworked!

I usually love going to this PetSmart. The pet food options are good, the cages are clean, the crickets are fresh and not only offered in boxes or plastic containers. Receipts can be emailed, or if you have a PetPerks card, they can look them up. The staff are very friendly with any pets you bring in and most are knowledgeable. They do get pretty busy and usually only have 1 or 2 cashiers which can cause long wait times to get through the lines.

One of the few places that stocks dog bark collars. They also have really good pet classes!

Made reservations there to have our dog groomed. When I took kim there they had no record of the reservation, not even a record of him ever having been groomed there. So I took the dog back home. My wife, who had made the reservation, called. It turned out that they had our dog under 2 different phone numbers. My cell # and my wifes. Names are evidently useless with that company. A pretty lousy example of record keeping...

Decent selection of fish and aquarium supplies. Some of the fish seemed to be in good health as well. Though almost all of the fish Ive gotten from this store have died rather quickly (the fish Ive gotten from other stores that arent petsmart all lived). If youre getting fish here just be cautious with which ones you buy.

I have spent lots of money at pet grooming boutiques, but this grooming experience costs way less and I feel that they did a MUCH better job. I believe the groomers name was Michael! My golden is two years old and this was the best grooming she has ever had. Im very impressed and will definitely go back there from now on!

This is a nice sized store with a lot of great products. We mostly go here for a few items for our dog. I wish they carried higher quality foods but overall its a good store. They have a lot if high quality items for much less than youd pay at a boutique pet store.

I wanted to share a recent experience with other pet owners that might be considering the PET SMART hotel in EDEN PRAIRIE MN. My little dog recently stayed at this pet hotel from 3/31 to 4/12/2016. It was a long time, but it was my only choice. While travelling internationally, I called multiple times to ask about my dog, and was always told she was adapting and doing great. Well, when I picked up on 4/12/2016, my dog had lost a tremendous amount of weight, was super, super stressed out, and had contracted an infection at this pet hotel. My dog was very ill with diarrhea, an eye infection and was extremely weak. A couple of days after that, I had to rush her to my VET. So far, I have spent $600 at the Pet Smart hotel in Eden Prairie MN, and another $400 in Vet bills. I have submitted my bills to Pet Smart, and so far, havent heard back. What I would say is - If you love and care about your pet, DO NOT let your pet stay at the Pet Smart hotel in Eden Prairie MN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. What my dog and I went through is unacceptable. At no time did the pet hotel tell me my dog was ill and also did not take her to the clinic which is located inside the store. My pet almost died. Please be advised this is NOT a good place to leave the pets you love.

This is a good place to get pet supplies. Its also a good place to adopt a rescue animal. We got one of our cats there. He has been with us for about 10 years now.

PetSmart is one of the few places that carries the full selection of Nutro Max Cat canned food, which happens to be the only brand our cat enjoys. The store is organized well, making things easy to find and their prices are competitive to other large pet stores. PetSmart also had maintained an adoption center for dogs and cats instead of working with pet breeding mills, so it feels better to shop there when I need to pickup more of my diva kittys food.

Took my dog here to to get her nails trimmed and they only did some of her nails must have been quitting time. The first time we went there they did a great job, the second time... Not so much.

They have a wonderful staff and excellent selection. But there prices are to high. The Bamfield pet hospital located there is excellent and very reasonable.

Ive had mixed results with this location. Finding pet toys and purchasing the food there for my pet has been a positive experience, but my experience with the anti-tick medication I bought there for my pet was a very negative experience. The medication I bought there had expired a year before I purchased it (which I found out after I called the manufacturing company with a question, and was informed that box of medication had expired). Not only did that leave my pet exposed to the potential of flea/ticks for a further period of time because the Manufacturing company could not recommend reapplying an unexpired medication in the time period before you were supposed to do the 2nd round (3 rounds of medicine), but when I went to exchange it for an unexpired box, 4 of the remaining 6 boxes left in their stock for that brand were expired as well. Doesnt give me much faith in their products. Recommendation to Management - keep a cheat sheet of how to read the expiration codes for each brand of medication on the inside door of the storage cabinet, and discard expired ones on a monthly basis.

I walked into there with my puppy multiple times and most of the employees thought it would be okay to just pick my puppy up from the cart and carry him around. NOT OKAY! I know when my puppy has had enough people touching him.
