Very professional and well organized. My appt was for 2pm but I got there early at 1:30pm. After an awesome painless vaccination by Winnie I went to monitoring for 15 mins and allowed to leave at 1:58pm.

The one time I did get someone on the phone, they asked me 2 questions, said that I wasn’t 65, call back on the first and hung up in my face. I still need assistance. I’ve been calling all day for 2 days and either it’s busy, rings and someone picks up and hangs up on you or it’s just a recording that you can’t leave a message on. If you don’t have the funding, update your website or recording so we can stop calling. We’re calling because we really need help... who’s the director?Update: eventually, I got a call and received assistance. Thank you

After scheduling an appointment months ago i sat in their office all day long from 11am until 4pm and was looked over CONSTANTLY. They are very unorganized and unprofessional and they act like because you are in need of assistance you are illiterate and stupid and talk to you any kind of way.

I appreciate all of you there especially Mr. and Mrs. Davis. The staff members there are always welcoming and helpful. They helped me catch up on my bills, get a job and supported me throughout my tough journey. Atlanta need services with staff like them always.

The people who work there will very kind and I like coming there they all were good May everyone be blessed in every way and I love them in Jesus name Amen

Great place to get help.

Could hire more help, I submitted my resume, was very qualified but not given an opportunity. Im highly professional, not sure what happened there. People wait hours just to be seen for 15 minutes with an appointment. If some people were given opportunities, they wouldnt need assistance! Food for thought.

After a small wait I was able to be seen in a timely manner, submitted a application and was approved 2 hours later. Such a God send everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

I am literally in tears as I type this. I called for two days and finally got through to someone this morning to set an appointment. I explained to the woman who answered that my lights would be disconnected tomorrow. She put me on hold for almost 10 minutes then came back and told me to go straight to the Kelly street location. She told me what documentation to bring, and even after I asked about an appointment she still said to just go ahead and go leading me to believe that while I was on hold she called someone at that location.I clocked out of work and went straight over there. When I got there I was told they couldnt see me. The lady at the desk there stated shes been there all morning and no one called her. I was devastated. Not only was I not getting help with the electricity bill but I left work losing pay that I desperately need, I used gas that I cannot barely afford to replace and on top of that my kids and I will still be in the dark tomorrow. To add insult to injury the people were so nonchalant like they didnt even care. I have no idea what Im gonna do now but I hope whoever reads this will improve on their professionalism and at least giving people in desperate situations the right information.

GD, Community Action is very understanding to a person needs. Staff is professional and polite. I personally like to say Thank You Ms Kelly and Ms Francis . She pushed my assistance through before deadline.

If you need help with emergency gas or just need help this is a great place. You must make an appointment. Fulton county residents only. No parking structure.

The place itself was quite nice, refreshing, well kept but going to attend to business was not as peasant and peace as the inside. The staffing need customers service training, rude, disrespectful, impatient, not a place I want to go to do business unless I have no other choice 😖

They helped me out a lot with my gas bill. I just wish they were more organized. I stood outside all day when they had walk in day and missed work for nothing. But they did get me an appointment for a few days later. Everyone was very nice

Great place for people with low income to get help paying their bills

The place is an asset to the community especially during the energy assistance program but it is shameful when citizens are not allowed to come in the center during inclement weather if they arrive before 9 to receive service or get appts especially when there are only 10 to 15 ppl waiting

Great place to help you with your utility bills

Nope. They are slow as molasses! Nasty attitudes, and move on their own time. I understand youre here to give back to the community, but the way they treated some of the seniors i brought in to get utility assistance was really unprofessional and flat out disrespectful.

Through a google search I located FACAA seeking rental assistance since I was laid off by my employer in April and unemployment would not be enough to cover my expense. The website indicate if rental assistance was needed you have to attend a class on Saturday at the Kelly street location. I arrived at the location prior to my rent being due and was advise that information was wrong and need to contact another office and should go in and meet with representative directly. I called her and she advise me to speck with a party in the call center to schedule intake interview or something to that effect. After all this was done I was told to expect a call but no specified eta..... It is now June and the last contact I had with this office was back in mid-May, initiated by me after calling 6x back to back to get through to someone, when I was advise my information was on file and things are handled on a priority/need basis until funds run out but again no eta specified. I guess one person being evicted and homeless is not a need basis, so reassuring. I am not sure how many folks this organization is actually assisting or if they have funds to assist folks as their website alleges but the lack of organization and communication reminds me why I never seek assistance in a first place because it never seems to amount to anything that can help other than stress.

I was not expecting the generosity I receive form Fulton county action authority they have made a way for me and my family to have utilities prepaid in full Im not sure what I would have done without their services thank you so much for all of your help

They are not eager to help or make appointments for walkins. If you take the time to come instead of call you should get an appointment at the least, especially when dealing with senior cirizens in November. I have witnessed poor assistance with the elderly. Smart mouthing by elderly to elderly is not excepted.

They helped me with my energy bills and they seem to help a lot of people without making people feel like it is a crime to be poor.

They are so unorganized you have to call and make an appointment when you call them they dont give you a list of documents that you have to bring with you so if you dont already have it with you you have to make another appointment and waste two days my time is just as valuable as someone else if this process was put together to deter people from going and getting the help that they need something is wrong
