I have been going here for 8 years, since it opened. I have acrylic gel nails and pedicures. Today I walked in and yeah they were busy but it was the third day in a row I had to come get my SAME exact nail fixed. I stood patiently waiting, no chairs they were taken. And the owner, Hugh, tells me they’re too busy. I drive 20 minutes to come to this place and have been a loyal customer for 8 years. The third time and to be told too busy?? It’s your job to fix what I paid full price for a fill when I only have one hand to do! Full price for one hand? Ridiculous! They are never on time and don’t value their loyal customers. I am NEVER going back and do not recommend this salon! I am so offended and taken back by the treatment of the staff and the poor quality of the gel! Do NOT go here! Not worth it and the good reviews are all fake and posing it as a good business. You just lost a VERY loyal and patient customer.

Beautiful nails salon. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I’ve tried a million shops in the area and this one has been the best quality in terms of products, services and sanitation. highly recommend it!

I scheduled an appointment for manicure and pedicure. The woman that did my pedicure did a really good job. She took her time and was thorough and made sure I was comfortable and the polish was great. I had a different woman for my manicure and it felt like I was more of an inconvenience for her. She wasnt very friendly. She didnt soak my nails before cutting the cuticles. She cut some of my skin so I blead and my skin is red on a few fingers at the nail bed. The polish is uneven and doesnt cover the whole nail. She applied some lotion at the end and she ran her thumb on my hand two times and called it good. Not a hand massage by any means. I question if the tools used were sanitized. The tools were in a case and werent in sterilized bags like other places do. There was no barbacide in sight and the nail grinder was being shared between two women and I didnt see any cleaning done. Also hot towels were dropped on the floor and then picked up and used. I would have given less stars if she didnt do a good job on the pedicure. I wouldnt go back however.

Some of the best nails in the twin cities!Techs were courteous, fast, and thorough. Pricing is reasonable. The interior is clean, decorated, and well-lit, and they have a HUGE selection of color swatches. Plus they do nail art!I will definitely be coming here again. Peep the new set!

I’m a chronic nail-biter and cuticle picker. I am NOT the ideal client, haha. I took my daughter here for her first manicure and got a basic gel manicure for myself. Our technician was Bui, and she was soooo wonderful. She was very patient with my 6 year old, and did a great job on my hot mess nails I came in with. I wish I had taken a before picture, so you could see the mess I presented her! Anyway, highly recommend! We didn’t have to wait long for a walk-in, the station was clean and the service was efficient and well done. We will definitely be back again!

My first time coming in, I made an appointment but still had to wait 15 minutes. I got a dip powder with tip extensions manicure and gel pedicure. I was excited because of the great reviews but because they were so busy the nail artist that did my manicure rushed through my nails and was pretty rough. My nails were crooked and not fully covered-- mostly just not a thorough job. I also had some cleanliness concerns it doesnt look like they clean the tools after each use.

The ladies were really nice and the salon was very clean. It was obvious a lot of regulars go here, and thats an easy way to know its a good place to go. I wish Id known they prefer cash before going, but luckily they took Venmo so I could tip her for the wonderful job she did.

My mom, sister and I came here for the first time and absolutely loved it! Linda was fantastic, efficient, and thorough. The salon was well lit and clean, and all the staff was very attentive. We will definitely be coming back again!

Loved my experience at Venice Nail Spa! I had gotten a full set at another salon that I wasnt happy with. I called ahead with my concerns and they told me they could help. They blew away all my expectations! My technician, Nina, was lovely and professional. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! She took her time shaping my nails and checked in consistently to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. I cant recommend her enough! I will definitely be a returning customer!

My favorite place for nails, friendly staff, comfortable chairs, single use foot bath covers, great selection of nail polish and services. I suggest you have some cash for tips, as credit card charged tips may not go directly to the technicians...

Nina is AMAZING! The best pedicure and dip powder in the cities. She is so sweet and does the best nails. I love this place! About 25 mins from where I live.. but worth the drive every time!

This place is beautiful, professional, and when you ask for ombre French manicure they deliver. Hugh was amazing, he not only listened to me but every single time I come here I am blown away. It is clean, they have you wash and sanitize your hands before your service, they clean and disinfect their workstations and chairs. I have never once been disappointed here. They have a great selection of gel and dip. Their prices are great and comparable even though they have the spa feeling here. Couldnt be happier.

This is a happening nail salon! They have been open for 5 years. The owner is very friendly and remembers his repeat customers. The ownwer checked on his nail techs and engaged with his customers. I went in for a pedicure with my two cousins and they were able to get us in and get us chairs next to each other. They have the massage chairs which are so nice. The nail tech did a great job and I loved the foot and leg massage that went with my pedicure. I decided after my pedicure to get a manicure with the dip powder and they were able to get me in without a wait and they were accomadating to getting me in. They had a large selection of colors to pick from for the dip powder and the nail tech did a great answering any questions I had regarding the dip powder process. They have great prices, $28 for pedicure and $40 for the dip, which I hear is a good price for the dip powder.

My tech was Tina. She did a great job. I loved the service (Deluxe pedi) and salon, and she does great massages. Its just hard to wait a couple weeks to go back :).

Ive rated this salon before, but now after 6 weeks of going bi-weekly for fills + gel manis, I gotta say it again, this is without a doubt the best nail salon around!!! it is so clean, quiet, and relaxing. they remember ur name, are patient with ur choices, check in with u during the process, they are all super nice and talented!!! everything is incredibly reasonably priced too. I wont go anywhere else, I am loyal to this place! i highly recommend!!!

I waited a few days to share my review. I was hesitant because others have had an amazing experience there. I went in and all was clean and the staff was courteous. What prompted my negative review, however, was the woman who did my pedicure pumiced my foot to the point it was raw and bleeding in the area by the bone on my big toe side of the foot. I do not have callouses there so the skin is fairly thin but she was scrubbing as though there was thick skin there. She was also engaged in conversation with someone else so was clearly distracted. She apologized, which I appreciated, and put antibiotic on it but it was clearly bloody, raw and painful the rest of the service. I wasn’t offered a discount or anything in response to this nor did she even offer me a band aid. I’m disappointed. I had high hopes off the reliable referral I got.

I would never go back for a pedicure, it was painful and my big toe has air bubbles in it, although the technician was nice. The owner Hugh needs to stop doing everything at once, he did an excellent job on my dip nails but he was checking people in, answering the phone, going to drink coffee, I have other things to do and don’t want to spend over 3 hours on nails.

Great price, nice quality nails. They dont do too much in the way of nail art, but simpler designs are amazing. The staff are friendly, and even when theyre busy, I have never felt rushed or neglected.

I initially called for a mani-pedi and scheduled a same day appointment for 6:15. After rescheduling to 3:30, the owner/manager tended to treat me as my later appointment, and I waited 45 minutes after my pedicure to begin my full set (I explained on the phone what I wanted, but the owner still referred to it as a manicure for my appointment). I noticed other customers were also waiting mid progress of their nails being done, or having to wait even though they had a scheduled appointment. The salon members seemed to accept all walk ins, despite being fully booked already. All that being said, if you are able to be patient throughout the process, they are very kind and professional. The basic salon tech who did my pedicure did a poor job of scrubbing my calluses during my pedicure, but the owner/manager, Hugh, did a great job on the toenail design and full set acrylic nails. They kept customers 6 feet apart due to the pandemic, but there was little sanitation at the stations between clients. Overall a good experience if you can be patient.

Ive had mixed experiences here but would go back again. Call ahead for an appointment if you want to go in the evening, they fill up fast. Easy parking right out front.

My daughter brought me on Mothers Day to receive a spa pedicure and a gel manicure. This was my first experience receiving a pedicure and gel manicure and it was amazing! The young man that worked with me was great - very gentle and great at conversing. My gel nails easily lasted 3 weeks - and I still have color on my toenails. Cant wait until I can come back!

There was no hot running water available so for the first 15 minutes I had to soak my feet in cold water. They did add boiling water from an automatic kettle twice though to make it semi-warm. The pedicure massage chair I was sitting in was very worn out and uncomfortable. I went ahead and asked for a special that was listed on their website and everyone seemed confused about the specific service I was asking for. The first woman that I told about the special had no idea what I was talking about and took my phone from my hand and walked through the store (Im assuming) asking other co-workers questions and pointing to the special I had pulled up on my phone. Just very bizarre. There were multiple cameras around the spa, too. Exposed wiring from the ceiling and duct tape placed over an outlet. I am giving 2 stars solely for the technician that gave me my pedicure. She was very sweet. I would not return or recommend anyone go there. Im disappointed because there were so many great reviews. Over all a very big bummer of an experience.

Best Nail Salon in the cities! Every time we come in for pampering we get the best of service. The staff is nice, welcoming and friendly, and make sure we leave satisfied. I get my nails done on a regular basis, and wouldnt trust anyone but the staff at Venice Nails Spa. They make sure the nails are perfect, and will fix them for me free of charge if they break between services. I always recommend this salon to my friends and family.

After searching far and wide and many disasters with my nails (I’m extremely picky) I found Hugh at Venice Nail Spa. From the first time that I explained how I like my nails he has been consistently doing them that exact way for three years now! Not sure why it’s taken me so long to write a review. All the staff is friendly and welcoming I get all my pedicures here as well.

Although I do not come here often anymore, my mother does. The quality of the manicures here are very good and the staff will often socialize with their clients. The prices here are a bit pricey, but the student discount is very nice for a teenager like me. The staff are friendly but occasionally rush manicures if it is crowded. I got my toes done here back in June, and the pedicure lasted over two weeks without chips (removed after a month). I highly suggest coming here for high quality gel other types of nails.

Lucy is fantastic!! I got a gel manicure and she did a beautiful job!! I love going to her and getting my nails done!! This place is ALWAYS busy so maybe call ahead and reserve a spot. Alot of times they fill up and Ive had to come back the next day, but they are so worth it!!

This was the best experience I have had to date. The only sad part is that we live out of state and was only able to come here this one time. I would recommend Venice nails to anyone in the area, they were exceptionally nice and very skilled. I came in with a terrible acrylic set that was heavy and poorly shaped, they filled my nails and repaired the damage done by my local salon. My daughter also had an amazing experience, they removed her acrylics without damaging her nails and she felt relaxed through the entire treatment. Thank you to everyone at Venice, even though we were a walk in they treated us very well. Couldnt be happier with the results.

Hannah is the best person I have ever been to regarding my nails. I am extremely picky and she does an excellent job. She took care of me so well throughout my entire pregnancy that I will forever be a customer of hers. She is very polite and professional and really cares for her clients. I really enjoy the cleanliness of their facility and the fact that each pedicure chair is individually lined to prevent any contamination.

Been to this place twice now. First time for dip and gel pedi, then second time for gel mani. Great experience both times. Hannah was very skilled at making sure my nails were even and now I know that this can be my go-to nail salon.

Linda happily listened to my requests along the way; she is meticulous with her work and does an overall great job from beginning to end. Salon is spacious & inviting w/friendly staff. I have also had previous positive experiences here prior to todays visit. You can tell customer satisfaction is important to them by the way the interact/treat customers. I discovered Venice Nail Spa 3 weeks ago while I was looking for a new nail spa to try, today was my second visit and I cant be happier, 5 stars for friendly smiley people, very clean place, very patient and they make you very comfortable.Its a big place and it can take a group of party, Im in love with this place, I highly recommend trying it, and for sure going back.

I was visiting from out of town and found Venice Nails on Google and Yelp. The nail technician was wonderful and very attentive to my needs and requests. Would definitely be back if I lived in the area.

Stopped by as a walk in to get my acrylic set taken off and get a manicure with just clear polish. I waited maybe 15 min tops for them to get me in. They did a good job and not damaging my nails while doing so and cleaning up my cuticles.

The friendliness and service was great. I like how much time they spend on the pedicure. When I got home I realized that 2 of my toenails only had one coat of polish. I also had gel polish on my cuticles. This was my second experience here and the first one was perfect. I was a little disappointed this time. I also live in Prior Lake, so not convenient to go back to have it fixed.

Hannah is the best! I have been coming here for two years. The salon is very clean and I always get tons of compliments on my nails.

Made reservations for a large group of 4 moms and 6 daughters who are 12. My daughters nail tech cut her toe making her bleed and then put acetone in the cut. She made her sit alone for about 15 minutes. When she got bored and went to talk to a friend, she yelled at her and pushed her twice. Lucky I didnt see this. My tech was on his phone. I would say he did an ok job on my gel nails, however I had to put more lotion on my hands as he spent about one minute on each. Not worth the money. Service varied for each person in out group. Some techs were excellent. Ours were not. Oh and the bathroom was dirty.

Me and my husband came in for Mani pedis and it was incredible. They were very attentive and did a fabulous job. The leg massages were wonderful!

After reading reviews for several nail salons in Eden Prairie, I chose Venice Nails Spa. It is a friendly and not nearly as noisy and hectic as some of the others. It is clean and everyone was friendly. While the girl who did my nails was very nice, I was disappointed with the results -- my nails were not filed evenly -- they are different lengths; some have been filed to a squarish tip and others more rounded. Also, the edges of the nails are rough, not smooth. This manicure doesnt look any better than when I do my own! I was hoping to make this my salon since it is so close to where I live. Unfortunately, I will continue to seek a Nail Salon.

Just took a pic of the gouge on my thumb while getting a fill at Venice Nails one week ago. Still healing and painful to take a shower wash my hands or work on the computer 8 hours a day at my job. I got $5 off the price of the fill and they looked at me like I was crazy because I wanted ice to stop the pain and bleeding. Good bye.
