This is THE BEST place to get a mens haircut ! I have been going to Sarah for a few years now and she is always friendly and professional. She always has my haircut done the way I want it and she makes sure every cut is done with excellence. There are many places to get a cut and I am very picky about a stylist. So I’m new to the Eau Claire area and I’m a little bit unaccustomed to your customer service practices. However, I called today to ask to schedule an appointment with a hairstylist I had a good report with at your establishment for either today or tomorrow. Whoever answered the phone really needs a lesson in grammar and appropriate etiquette. After this woman answered the phone acting like my call annoyed her I asked if I could schedule an appointment she told me my stylist. I was told my stylist no longer works there and was hung up on.So does that mean I am no longer allowed to get a haircut at your establishment because of your issues with a former hairstylist? It seems like this establishment is out of control and I will not be back. Word for the wise, if somebody is willing to pay you for a service don’t bite their face off.

Scheduled to have my 1.5 year old get his first haircut done and they reminded us on the phone that myself and my husband must wear our masks (which I understand) but when we got there for the appointment they said everyone is required to wear a mask no matter the age...asinine! I said we could try but he’s never worn one because no place requires it that young, not even hospitals. She said if he won’t wear it they can’t cut his hair...all the while she’s sporting dreadlocks.....tell me who is carrying more bacteria?? I’m very upset that their policy is so unrealistic! My husband used to go there for haircuts but we will not give them any more money after this.

In my honest opinion..(covid being considered). This place has a really well disinfecting process and makes you feel comfortable, however, some of the professional hair stylists are very good then some were kind of a hit or miss. For example, my first appointment ever, it felt fairly rushed...for the price. still overall good haircut, but minimal effort. Gave it another shot, felt less rushed more communication, but the cut was not as well as the 1st one.Then my last experience was with a stylist named Chantel best haircut ever...experienced, not rushed, definitely recommend.Will continue to come here!!

If you want to have a barber cut your hair, do not go here. It’s nothing more than a redressed Fantastic Sams. You’ll never have the same person cut your hair, twice. That’s because the person that cut your hair, last time, no longer works there. Do yourself a favor. Go across the street to Govin’s and get a real haircut.

I always come here for a haircut and they always do their best to help me with cutting my hair. Everything they do is very professional and incredibly well done. The stylist that I had today was Regina, she takes her time cutting your hair to make sure it is what you wanted. She is also a very kind person including the staff who also work there. If you ever need a haircut this is the place to go and if you want a good stylist let them know you want Regina. 100% would recommend!

I chose to go to The Barbershop A Hair Salon for Men because they have razor certified stylists. I lost my hair after starting chemo when it came back in it was very spotty. Let me say it looks all kinds of wrong. So I decided that I would just keep it shaved off. My razor certified stylists is Sara Beth, she is amazing. A very welcoming person, made me feel right at home. She explained the different types of shaves ( regular hair buzzer vs foil razor vs straight razor), that way I was sure to get the best option for me. The service the shop provides comes with a shampoo and conditioning after the haircut. I wasnt expecting to get one since my head was bald. There was no hesitation on Saras part, she asked me right away, my response was lets do it. Warm towel on my face while getting my scalp massaged, was very relaxing. Then to top it all off a shoulder massage with an old fashioned looking massager. The massage was perfect, just the right amount of pressure. This was my first visit, I am so pleased with the service that I received, I will be making another appointment soon.

I started going here when it opened to get my haircut and havent gone anywhere else since they opened. My kids love getting their haircuts here as well with the complimentary warm towel on the face, shampoo and back massage. Its great and I will keep coming back!

I went in to get my brows waxed and to check the place out. It’s a very laid back atmosphere. Awesome, comfortable chairs in the waiting area. Sara B. did my brows. She is awesome! She’s got a great sense of humor, knows what’s she’s doing, and is very accommodating. She’s not happy unless you are. They do women’s cuts, too; I’ll definitely be going back for more than just my brows.

Great service here. They are pretty detail oriented as well. Made some suggestions for my haircut and I really liked the result. The free drinks and peanuts while you wait are a bonus as well.

I had never been here before, my brother had referred me. Brianna was my stylist. By far the best experience I have ever had. She was so kind and listened to what I had to say. I showed her a picture of what I wanted to try as I have never had a style hair cut. I will never go anywhere else and as long as she is there I wont have anyone else cut my hair or beard either. She did exactly what I wanted and even with my lop sided head my hair cut and beard trim was exactly what I was wanting. Thank you for such a wonderful service, time, and experience. Cant beat the price for what you get. My first two appointments were fine, however, my last one I made an appointment and didnt get sat down in a chair until a half an hour after my scheduled appointment. Not sure what the point of making an appointment is. Not sure if Ill be back.

Theyre good at getting you in pretty quick, though theyre also popular, so take that into account and call ahead just to make sure they can get you in that day.Once youre in the chair, they know what theyre doing. Im pretty terrible at describing how I want my hair cut, and yet they always cut it exactly how I want it. If that isnt good, I dont know what it!On top of that, they offer hot towel treatment, shampooing, and a massage for free! Its amazing! All that and a haircut will cost you $15. I havent found a place in town, or really anywhere else that offers even a simple haircut that low of a price!They also cut and style facial hair, so if you want that perfect style and are worried youll mess it up, give them a call and get it scheduled!One qyick heads up, that $15 price is when you pay cash. With the card companies jacking up their fees, they do have an additional charge for using your card, though its still pretty low. So keep that in mind and grab a twenty from Kwik Trip before you come in.

This is THE BEST place I have ever been to for a haircut and beard trim. I saw Tina and she was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. The hot towel treatment was very relaxing, the beard trim was absolutely necessary as I was a hot mess. If you have a beard, I cant think of a better place to go for grooming/trim. Not their fault but I showed up ten minutes after my appointment and the best they could do was a reschedule. I get it that is a few days befor Christmas so they are super busy. It was my first experience here so not a good start. I will try again at a later date.
