My hair was short to begin with, but I decided to grow it out so I really just wanted the ends trimmed up. Literally, a 10 minute cut.When I sat down, the hair dresser said, “it’s your first time here so we’re going to upgrade you to our deluxe cut.” I didn’t know what that meant, but since they were upgrading me I said ok.As it turns out, it cost me $33 for a 5 minute haircut, and she didn’t even know how to style it. I literally looked like hitler after she was done. I had to do it myself before walking out.

First time ever getting pampered. Nikki was so nice, the hot towel and wash treatment was amazing. Oh and lets not forget the massage chair. Worth every penny for sure. I highly recommend!

This place is great. If you havent got a MVP haircut, you are missing out. MVP = haircut, hot towel, shampoo massage, percussion massage, and style. Great job with the cut. They do rotate stylists between locations, so it is hard to predict who will be there. That said, I have gotten my hair cut by at least 8 different people and they all did a good job.

Clean, masking and, youre in and out. Always a good job. Really like this place.

Love Laurie, my stylist for the past 12 years, and the entire staff at Sports Clips at Oakwood. Theyre fun, friendly, and take great care of their customers. Plus, sports are always on the TVs and no one tells me to turn the station to HGTV or Hallmark!

Alexandra was very friendly, and did a great job, I simply said I trust you, I just want it shorter. And I got a great haircut. She was personable, and friendly, and great at her job. I was quoted a half hour but was taken in in 5 minutes.ive been going here a long time but this visit set the bar. Thank you, Alexandra, and thanks to all the staff. I have been going here for years and had nothing but great service. However, I need a hair cut and wanted to give them my business but I cant call them. With this pandemic going on i have questions about their suggested/required safety policies. Im not going to drive around town to find out that I dont meet their safety requirements (albeit there probably isnt anything out of the ordinary) and have to drive back home and back again wasting gas. I dont know why it goes straight to an automated system but if I cant talk to a real person, then its not worth it and Ill go elsewhere. Again, Fantastic service in the past and will go back at some point but it wont be this time I guess.

A decent haircut shop for the most part they did what I wanted but some of the things I asked to have done I did not get done. However my hair stylist was very warm and friendly. Overall a good experience at a hair shop.

Not impressed with last hair-cut. Stylist seemed more intent on getting me out the door so she could get next guest than with the guy IN her chair. No MVP offer (which I usually get), speed of the clippers caused a bit of pain, floor wasnt swept before I was in chair.Not up to your usual standards. I left a tip but thought better of it later. 🤕

I love the whole MVP experience. The staff at this location, the Oakwood Shoppes one, are not only courteous and kind but are also very good at what they do and knowledgeable about their trade and products. I have never gotten a haircut that I didnt love or had less than a stellar experience. I always hype this place to my friends and family.

Kelsie, in the Eau Claire, WI store, did a great job! She knew exactly what I wanted. This is the second time I have had her. She is talkative, pleasant and genuinely cares about the customer. The atmosphere is great as always.

I hate the price but My wife can’t cut my or our boys hair myself. The two ladies we usually go to for our cuts are always so kind and patient. Just wish there were more coupons or incentives since we go so often. Also, it would be helpful if there were coupons or more deals for children’s haircuts.

Just got my split ends trimmed. Ged up to the MVP Cut and they wash your hair l, massage your scalp, hot towel, massage chair action. I think that is only $25. Only 4 stars because my stylist smokes cigarettes and it was all over her hands. But every other encounter is 5 stars.

Give them a try. Im really glad I did. A lot of convenience, you can now check in ahead of time and all of your hair cut preferences are saved. Friendly service.

What do I like about Sports Clips? Everything. Paul Mitchell products are tremendous in terms of conditioners and shampoos. Martha and Justine do a tremendous job taking care of my needs in terms of recommending product, taking care of styling my hair and finalizing the MVP Triple Play.

No longer a believer in the business model. No longer have the desire to stop by, check in, try and plan a return time, and/or sit and wait. Provide the ability to have a parallel path for scheduling appointments and Ill return.

Wow not happy at all with my experience. First opinion through the door was that none of the stylist cared to be there the morral was horrible. Felt somewhat ignored while the stylist had no one they were in back laughing and chatting I was about to leave when they came out to get me. My stylist was very polite and overall nice but did not have the experience she should to be cutting hair. This is by far the worst haircut I have ever received I explained exactly what I wanted and even showed her a picture of the last time it was cut and said this is what I want when I questioned it she told me that It was just the way my colach was and it would just keep looking worse if she went further well guess what no other stylist has ever had this problem or they did but they were experienced enough to make it look good wont be going back and I dont recommend anyone to go there till management steps in and gets there employees act together I would call and complain but what can they do for me offer me a free haircut I doubt it

Very disappointed with my haircut. The hair stylist didnt even use a scissors. I have a pretty simple hair cut finger length on top and my hair length is all over place after the cut. Seeing I have a wedding this weekend I have to go to another place to fix what they did at sports clips. Will never go back. For the price it is not worth it you can get your hair cut for half the price some place else.

There’s only so many places that can cut mens hair properly and this men sports clips is not one of them. As bad as it sounds these women only know how to cut white men’s hair. Everytime my husband goes in, they tell him they cant cut his hair the way he wants it. Charging $22 you would expect these women to know how to cut all types of hair. A simply short style haircut and to clean all his hair line along his ears. Apparently its too hard? Mhm maybe this store SHOULDN’T charge $22 for MEN haircuts if they clearly DO NOT know how to properly clean his cut. As well as not brushing his head off after his hair cut. Honestly not worth the money. Really poor service.

I walked in at 1:15 PM and there were 3 other people waiting. No big deal, but unknown to me, there were 10 online reservations that superseded me. At 1:45 PM, after a bunch of people came in and got called ahead of me, I finally asked why, and was told they had all placed online reservations ahead of me. So now, if I want my haircut in a timely fashion, I have to register online, without knowing how many walk ins are waiting at the shop itself, in order to get a haircut in a timely fashion? I gave the girl at the counter my punch card with 4 punches in it and told her that I and my son are never coming back. If you want a simple haircut, I would recommend going somewhere else, because not only is the particular Sport Clips slower than molasses, (not to mention an entire new staff every time I visited for a hair cut) that unless you register online, you will wait at least 45 minutes to 1 hour for a haircut.. Huge waste of time and I lost my entire lunch hour waiting for a haircut, that according to the board, was still 16 minutes away when I left. Who wants to wait an hour for a hair cut?

I took my son here for the first time. The stylist that cut his hair was not very friendly at all. She also didnt seem to have much patience with my son. I was afraid she was going to yell at him every time he got a little wiggly.

Absolutely love this location!!! I originally had stopped at the sports clips located on Clairemont over by the West Ridge Center and let me tell you what the staff there including that woman who Im assuming is the manager since I ask for a manager and thats who spoke up although they were all sitting in there not doing anything treated me like garbage over my questions on a coupon but Ive gotten in the mail for Sports Clips. I am so happy my son and I decided to go 2 a different location, yes we left the Clairemont location and did not do business there, but we did go over to the one by the mall and Im forever grateful that we did we will not go anywhere else going forward.The stylus to work on my sons hair is absolutely phenomenal!!! She is very very good at what she does and you can tell she is very passionate as well. In fact from what I could see all of the staff at the Oakwood location are very passionate about what they do you can just feel good Positive Vibes when you go in here. My sons actually already gone back a second time but he is sticking with Kayla as a stylist and the reason for that is on our second visit my son showed a picture of the hairstyle he wanted which also consisted of a design line in hair kind of by the ear.When when I brought my son in this time he originally was going to have the first available stylist instead of waiting for Kayla who was the girl that did his hair the first time he went in there but when it was his turn and he showed the stylist that brought him back the Hair Design he wanted the hair stylist that had him was comfortable enough insane she didnt know how to do the line like my son was requesting. I think the fact that she was honest that she didnt do those specialty haircuts, I dont even know what to call them truthfully, but the fact that she was honest notify the only stylist there that could do that hairstyle was Kayla. So was that information is why my son decided to just stay with Kayla :-) but she really really does do a good job and the rest of the staff there is just as skilled as her and they definitely take care of all of their clients.My youngest son who has long hair loved his Big Brothers new haircut so much it inspired him after a long time of not cutting his hair to finally get a haircut :-) we look forward to going in to Sports Clips over by Oakwood Mall and having Kayla cut my youngest sons hair. Because of course just like big brother he wants a design line also, the extra fee you pay for that is totally worth it the kids love it. Oh and of course I cant forget to mention my husband also was very impressed with our oldest sons haircut and also the wonderful service he received as did we will we waited so my husband has decided to go here for his haircuts going forward as well.I am so grateful we decided to go to the location by the mall instead of not going after having that horrible treatment from the sports clips staff over by the West Ridge Center on Clairemont. I literally almost decided that Sports Clips would never receive my familys business again because of how poorly we were treated over on Clairemont, but like I said I decided to take a Gamble and stop at another location hoping the way we were treated wasnt the norm and Im happy to say it most definitely isnt . And I am so glad that I brought my son to the second location. the staff at the location by the mall has got you 3 new forever clients that you otherwise wouldnt have had
