My old barber shop would not trim my mustache. Jessica was happy to trim me up nicely. Thank you for a job well done I will be returning.

The staff was very nice but my haircut was very poor. I asked or my hair to be only layered on the top, and the barber i had cut 3 inches off. I also asked for a separated fade and got a tapered high fade

An excellent salon!Prior to beginning chemo after a cancer diagnosis, Jenny helped me cope with hair loss by consulting with me about wigs. She showed me the available styles and colors and helped me choose a wig that flattered me. She also taught me how to put the wig on properly, how to style it, and how to care for it. I returned several times to have Jenny trim and thin the wig until I was satisfied with the appearance, something she encourages as part of the wig purchase.Ive received many compliments from family, friends and acquaintances about how attractive my wig looks. Some family and friends are surprised to learn I am wearing a wig.I referred a friend going through chemo to Jenny for a wig consultation recently. My friend was also impressed with Jennys products, her knowledge, and her sensitivity.I will continue to refer others in this situation to Govins since I am so pleased with the products and the service.

I started coming to Govins when my previous stylist raised her prices beyond what I could afford for a haircut. Im terrible at making appointments in advance and tend to wait until Ive reached a full hair emergency to call for an appointment. At that point, theres only one option - cut off my hair or cut off my head. Id prefer just to have someone cut my hair. I can usually get in either the day I call or within one or two days. That beats the two weeks Id have to suffer through a hair emergency with my previous stylist, waiting until she had room in her schedule.The haircuts are great. Jenny really knows my hair and my head and has learned enough about me and my personality and style to get it right. I always leave looking and feeling great.I treated myself to a birthday pedicure in August. It was a great pedicure with a really qualified, lovely nail technician at a price just barely above what the discount places charge.If it seems like Im motivated by price and value, I am. Because I have to be. Govins gives me great value at a very reasonable price.

Govins is great for the whole family! Our kids love having their haircut there and my husband does too. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere and they often have appointments on short notice which is extremely helpful for our busy schedule.

Thank you to Jen at Govins Barber Salon! We moved to Eau Claire a few years ago and I had been rotating between several hair salons in the area. I became incredibly frustrated because either I wouldnt connect with the stylist I went to, or, Id find someone I like and by the time I had my next appointment, they had moved on. I met Jen through a local networking group and she is wonderful! I came in with a picture of what I had in mind and left 100% happy. On top of exceeding my hair color expectations, she also stayed open late just for me! I have quite a bit of hair, so it took about 2 hours past their closing time to get it all done. Jen never batted an eye at how late my appointment ran. I will be getting married in September and the only stylist I trust to color my hair before our big day is Jen.

Ive been coming here for over 2 years with my daughters. We all love coming here. I normally get my hair cut and colored but recently started getting my nails done there. My wife and I were passing through on our way from DC to Canada, and I realized I needed a haircut. Badly (according to my wife). We were pretty tired from the drive and had already decided to stop for coffee when I googled barbershops and this place came up. I walked in and was seated immediately. $18 for a compete cut on top and clippers on the side and back. No wash. Took no more than 15 minutes and it looks great. Not to mention the women who work there (3 at the time) were incredibly nice and gave us great info about local events happening this weekend. Highly recommend!

I read some really good reviews about this place and decided to try it out. I showed what haircut I wanted and it did not turn out at all! To make things worse, when I got home and examined my hair further, I found out that the left side was noticeably shorter than the right side. Will never return, its not worth it!!
