Living in an old house, I had old plumbing issues since I moved in. Several plumbers came and then never returned. From the start I received prompt service and professionalism with Edwin Stipe, Inc.. 2 Techs came right on time. They were very pleasant guys and wore shoe coverings inside the house. They were efficient, clean and courteous. They also explained everything they did. I would recommend them highly. For those who think they may be a bit pricey; You get what you pay for!

The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and happy to spend the time providing detailed instruction to replace the air and water filters. They also repaired a potentially dangerous broken furnace exhaust pipe, and made sure it would not break again. I definitely plan to have them check the HVAC systems every year.

Service was excellent! Our ac had gone out during an extremely hot stretch. Edwin stipe was the only one of 4 other local hvac companies who gave us a set time (next day). The others basically said sorry cant really help you,including the company we purchased the unit from.Jeremiah our technician actually arrived early! Courtney came out to install a new bathroom sink faucet and he did a fantastic job! The first thing he did when we got here was to put in shoe covers, very professional. He then looked at the sink and gave an initial estimate of the costs so I was aware. It didn’t take him too long the install the faucet. Afterwards, he showed me what he did and any potential issues to look out for. We will certainly use this company for any future plumbing issues and hope to work with Courtney again! The service technician came to the house, and he was professional and timely. He went above and beyond doing his job by removing some items in front of the furnace. He showed me how to replace my filter, and gave me the filter size on an unrelated service. I hired him because they were having an AC cleaning special. I will use them again.

Jaylen was terrific on a service call on a Sat. He kept me informed of what was happening and solved the problem. It was later found out that the pump should have been under warranty so they refunded the price of the pump. Awesome.

The company called shortly before arriving. Plumber took a look at the old water heater, wrote up the cost and after agreement on price he called in with parts needed and approximately 30 minutes later the parts arrived and the second person helped bring in the new heater and remove the old one. I had a leaking toilet that I thought was simply a case of a flap or arm problem. I called the two nights before and told the operator that it was not an emergency--an easy problem.Courtney came to the house promptly on time. He realized that it was more than that when I showed him the stain on the bathroom ceiling below the toilet. He ended up spending a lengthy amount of time being meticulous and careful and checking everything out.He advised me about the issue at hand, which turned out to be an internal toilet bowl leak discovered after he had sealed the toilet with a new wax seal and installed the new little flapper. He did not rest until he had fixed the problem.I love Edwin Stipe because every single person who has come to assist me from boilers to sinks to toilets in 13 years has been amazing. Edwin Stipe replaced our 25 yo AC a few years ago and did an excellent job. They do the annual maintenance as well. We have needed to call them twice because of electrical-outage storm issues with the AC. The service has been great, the techs are very professional but customer-friendly too. They are able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. We have been very satisfied and glad we have the service contract with them.

Friendly prompt and professional service.

My water heater stopped working. I called and talked to their office right away(other local HVACs didnt respond). They had a tech come right away to investigate the problem. Tank of the heater was bad(thankfully still under warrenty), we scheduled for its replacement. Courtney Carew came out today, drained, uninstalled, swapped the bad tank at Home Depot, then installed the new tank. He was very kind and professional. He made sure everything was even in place and lined up, paid great attention to cleanliness, and didnt bump any of our furniture in the tight spaces. When I need to replace the furnace and central air in the future Im calling Edwin Stipe, I highly recommend them.

Moved into a house in April of 2019. July of 2019 my A/C went out. I called Edwin Stipe and they were able to come out the same day. Told me that my A/C would need replacing and showed me why. As a new homeowner that was the last thing I expected during the blazing heat. They worked with me and were able to install a new unit the same day. Fast forward to January of 2020 and my heat went out...another hige blow scheduled an install of a new unit and at the same time I replaced the water heater thinking that would probably go out as well. Everyone Ive worked with has been great down to the people in the office. Highly recommend them!

A/C Heater combo unit was serviced by Technician on a Friday and discovered that the unit was making a lot of noise. Customer was aware of the noise. Technician discovered the problem and explained the issue in detail to the customer and with customer approval, ordered a new blower motor and blower fan. Technician returned on Monday and replaced the blower motor and blower fan. The system is now running smoothly and you can not even tell it is on.

We were having an issue with our A/C and they were able to get out to see us within 3 days of calling and took care of it in one visit. We plan on having them continue to service our heating and A/C on an ongoing basis via their maintenance agreement.

Edwin Stipe Inc abandoned me when I needed them! They installed my furnace that provides my heat and hot water. When it broke down I called them only to find that they no longer will service any oil-fueled furnaces. And they put it in!! They also did my annual servicing for a number a years. I asked if they could do one more service call to get my furnace going, and I would then find a new company. They said no. I had received no notice from them about this (even though they said they sent out letters). Also, I realized I never got a renewal notice for my annual service contract that I normally get. They let it expire because they knew they were leaving the oil-servicing business. They left me hanging, without heat or hot water, with a furnace they installed, and couldnt care less. Do not trust this company. Customer service and reliability mean nothing to them. Even though we did not have a Service Contract they came out quickly and fixed our gas heater condensation hose and pump issues. We had completely lost all heat during the Extreme Cold because condensation pipe froze. Tech re piped it through basement to sunk pump so it wouldnt freeze again on outside wall.
