I have used ameriserv multiple times in the last 3 years and they are always great and a pleasure to work with. Most recently I had them out to replace my water heater and clear my drain like as my basement kept having water in it. They were awesome, professional, and knowledgeable and were able to replace my water heater same day. A few days later my drain clogged up again and they came out right away to fix it for me again. I will continue to use their services as they always give great service at a good price and stand behind their work.

Well that was unexpected and disappointing !! I am a virtual assistant and called this company based on its high rating because my client needs a plumber sooner than later for his kitchen garbage disposal which is not working.I called the company and identified that I was calling on behalf of someone and explained the situation. The male company employee asked if I worked for a warranty company which I dont and I dont even know what that means. Needless to say his company was unable to service my clients request.Back to square one in a search for a plumber and very disappointed with the poor customer service.Update: interesting response from the owner as the number I called from is my personal number and I didnt have any missed calls. What is the point of supposedly calling me back when you could have stayed on the phone to ensure I was being honest if you suspected fraud? I appreciate you taking the time to clarify the challenges you face in your industry. I ultimately found a reputable family owned business in the area. All is well that ends well.

All costs were completely transparent and discussed prior to visit and after the assessment prior to repair- there was no guesswork or surprises. Team cleaned up and left things neat and tidy. I plan to post links to our filings with both agencies once their investigations are complete.THIS IS A RIP OFF BUSINESS THAT SHOULD HAVE THEIR PLUMBING LICENCES REVOKED!!!!!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.......We are a new business that had to upgrade an existing sink drain. Scott was here all of 25 minutes working. He cut the old drain pipe, replaced it with the required gap drain (plastic drain cup) and installed a brace to the floor with two screws. Total cost: $610.00.After taking our money and leaving we were left with a major leak from the work that Scott performed. When we called back about the problem, Scott answered the phone saying Whats up jerk? and threatened to have many people leave bad reviews of our new business.THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR 100% Guarantee AND REFUSED TO REFUND OUR MONEY.

Called AmeriServe. Guy and Joe came a few hours later. $79 for the inspection/estimate. Guy and Joe fixed my leak in just a few hours. Friendly, knowledgeable they were exactly what I needed. Although $870 was a big deal. Probably much more expensive than others would have done it.

Contacted Ameriserve over the phone. We told them we were having problems with our toilet and we purchased replacement parts to fix it. We asked how much it would cost if they did the job. They would only tell us $79 for a service fee (just to walk in the door) and they couldnt tell us how much repairs would be until they saw the problem. They arrived at our home, look at the toilet and the replacement part we purchased. They quoted us a price of $179 plus the $79 to fix it. We said ok. They proceeded with taking our toilet apart and then told us the part we purchased was not the correct size. They would have to go and purchase the correct size. Oh and by the way to fix it will now cost you almost $500. We told them to leave. We still had to pay the $79. We went and bought the correct size part for $30 and fixed it ourselves. The only thing Ameriserves serves is their own pockets. Would NOT recommend them for anyone!!!!

Wow !!! When you call be prepared to pay big money . Called for a acid neutralizer Fill . Granted the tank was empty. But $400.00 is insane. No wonder the service guy is all happy when he meets you. They did not even want to apply the service call fee towards the bill. He went back with a $79.00 check and left with disgusted customer.By the way the $79.00 was just for them to come out . Wasted money. UPDATE : service and refill for $215.00 with another Company . Wow ! The owner responded with calling someone with a complaint stupid. Thats great business buddy. Please watch out for this guy (Scott) !! After all his calculations I got 3 other quotes to the job for half the price. He does not want your business just your money ! He is a crook !!!

I always receive great service from Scott. Reliable, dependable service. They are very accommodating to your schedule. Quick diagnosis and resolution to the problem. They mostly carry parts on the truck so it prevents them from having to order parts and come back to fix it. Ill admit the prices are steep but you always get quality service. My only pet peeve is that shoe covers are meant to be taken off when you go back and forth to your truck, otherwise you are still tracking outside elements onto the customers carpeted floors.I have to give a thumbs up to Rachel for her great customer service skills. She is very pleasant and courteous and provides accurate information regarding arrival times of the expected technician.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Scott and his team at Ameriserve. Not only did the guys provide my oil furnace with a throughout cleaning and safety inspection he helped me out with an emergency plumbing situation the very same day. Not having the correct tools with him, he returned the next day and was able to fix our plumbing as promised. Recently, I called Scott late at night with a heating emergency, he called back within an hour and was at my door step first thing in the morning to get us back up and running. Scott is an absolute professional, true to his word, honest, up front, and extremely knowledgeable!!! Everything youd hope for when taking care of your home. Ameriserve gave me an estimate on a leaky pipe elbow in our opened garage ceiling. The cost to replace the elbow was $379 plus the $79 service fee. $450 to replace 1 elbow! Im sure it didnt matter one bit to him when I said no and he walked out with the $79 service fee after doing 5 minutes of work. You decided to not use our service and now Im a rip off.. I have found over the years that most people like yourself who can not afford to hire a plumber find it easier to insult the plumber and call him a rip off then admit they dont have the necessary funds to afford a plumber. Please be aware no work was done and now fee was charged for any repair service. Keep in mind in order to rip someone off, you have to provide a service and collect a very excessive fee for same service. No service was provided.....

Called Ameriserve mid-morning and they had a plumber in place to resolve the problem in less than 4 hours. Kudos to Scott for explaining everything that he was doing along with why it was being done and to Rachel for her empathy to get the problem fixed that day.

Im giving a one star rating because there arent negative ratings. This was the most unprofessional and unethical service Ive seen provided in years. If you want to be ripped off and pay too much for your repairs and be treated disrespectfully, then this is your company.

IWe had a clogged kitchen drain. The bill was over $500 to have it unclogged.The pricing for their services are criminal.The service technician did not even offer a choice of options, just filled out the bill prior to completing any action.$79 to get the technician into the home$315 for an air pressure solution which did not work. A simple snaking of the lines was all that was required to complete the job of unclogging the drain.$127 to reseat the trap pipe due to a disintegrated O-ring. Really to replace a $5 item and tighten a nut? WOW!!!!!!I have no idea as to standard costs for plumbers but this seems outlandish.I will never use AmeriServe again.

The AmeriServe staff always does it right. Weve been using them since 2007. Whether it be Scott, Taso or Mark, we can always count on a job well done. We use them for both plumbing and HVAC. And, Id be remiss if I didnt mention Rachel in the office who is always helpful and friendly.

Absolute WORST experience. Scott came out to give us several ESTIMATES on repair work, which is MY decision whether I want them done or not, thats why they are ESTIMATES!!! After tallying about $800 worth of repairs, my husband and I only decided to have one item done due to urgency. Scott got pissed off, packed up his things, took the invoice and just walked out. Excuse me, we didnt want to spend $800 on bogus repairs. I guess the $170 that he was going to charge us wasnt worth his time. Absolute WORST customer service, I recommend everyone going elsewhere and avoiding this man at ALL costs. He is unprofessional, rude, and a low life. I will never use this Plummer again, seeing as he cant even live up to his title or complete a job.
