I had a very good service from Leao, she was kind, very careful doing my pedicure and my nails are so pretty. I highly recommend her! Also she gives good massages with mani and pedi.

I went to LV nails back in early December and had my nails done by a nail tech that was VERY good. I had an appointment with her on 12/30, and she cancelled about an hour prior because a family member was sick, which I completely understand. What bothered me is she was booked out for over a week after, and didn’t bother to reschedule me. No big deal, I rescheduled for 12/31 with the owner at 12:30. Around 11:30 my appointment is rescheduled for 12:45. Again, no big deal, it’s just 15 minutes. I get there at 12:40 and sit until almost 1:45. She was very sweet, but my nails were rushed. There were bubbles in the polish and there was a lot of unpainted space between my cuticle and nail. The sides of my nails were also not painted, which normally doesn’t bother me but this time, it was very apparent. They were busy, and I felt bad so I paid and left. Maybe four hours later, the bubbles in my nails grew. My thumb peeled off and left a sticky residue before coming off completely. I reached out to the owner and she responded hours later blaming me for not putting my hands under the lamp completely. I’ve gotten gel manicures many times, and the manicure I got with the tech that did my nails prior to her lasted for over three weeks, so I’m confident It was just the consequence of her rushing me. I got a bunch of accusatory texts before she offered to fix it, but by then I was honestly hesitant to go back. The following day, my two pointer fingers did the same. And by Saturday, I had to have my nails completely fixed elsewhere. It’s a shame because there are a lot of really talented people that work here, but given my experience with the owner, I will never go back. Also, my fill was $70. That’s a lot of money to have nails wipe off in the same day. Not okay.

Im new to this salon but Im loving it so far. I look forward to my visit with Tiana. She has a great personality, doesnt rush, and really pays attention to detail. My acrylic nails look fantastic and I always get lots of compliments. The salon itself is nice, clean, and the staff is very friendly. The ONLY thing is the appointment booking. Now, its probably just me...but I found it confusing 😳So, I make sure Tiana books my next appointment before I leave 🤣🤣

My daughter scheduled an appt at 4:00 with “Drea”. There was someone else there so she wasn’t seen until 4:25. Then my daughter requested coffin shape nails with gel polish, the nails look bulky, they aren’t all shaped the same and it looked as if the nail tech didn’t do any clean up afterwards. There is polish left on her skin. I don’t know if this tech is new at this but the product definitely isn’t worth the price.

Went there for the first time vía a recommendation. Absolutely phenomenal! Everyone was professional, friendly, talented and attentive. I really enjoyed it there and will continue to go back. Bonus: they have chrome in every color if you’re someone like me who enjoys chrome!

The workers are very nice and friendly and understanding about what you want and are getting done, I was very comfortable and it was very nice and clean, this nail salon has been the best I have been to so far it was amazing. 💕🤩.

With me they have done a bad job, I asked for more or less a design like the photo that I presented when I arrived and it made an ugly design, at the end I asked for the painting to be removed and it came to supervisor to solve my problem and he tells me that he can remove, and in the end I charge over $ 18, and after a few hours to get to my house, I see that I start to get blood because when I removed the paint I have hurt, my nails are damaged, I do not recommend this place and Serious pesimo, I do not recommend anyone, there are better places, and bad work.

Went back to get a fill and nail tech made me feel like a jerk in front of entire salon. I told her I wanted to change the polish because I didn’t like it and figured I’d get a fill also. Didn’t talk to me the rest of appointment and moved me around like 3 times to different people. Weeks later I went to remove my nails and my natural nail was paper thin. Cracked and bled for a whole day. So incredibly painful. Never had that happen anywhere else. Never going back.

This nail salon by far is the best! its such a happy environment to be in! Truly fun place to relax and get your nails pretty! very professional as well! every person that works here is soooo kind! they make you feel you have ever been going there got years just from your first experience!!

By far the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. I have been a customer of both the West Haven and the East Haven shops for years now, and they are both clean, well lit, and have skilled artists and nail techs. The owner, Annie, makes a point to get to know each of her customers personally. The quality of the workmanship for acrylic nails, gel nails, natural manicures, and even waxing is fantastic. The management takes great pride in training each employee until they are ready to meet the standard of the shop. Honestly, I have been getting my nails done since i was in high school. I have been to a ton of nail salons in my day, and now that I have found LV Nails, my search is over!!!!

Overall she did a really good job with my nails. Except I asked for a basic nail polish manicure and she ended up using gel which cost over $10 more! Also she didnt do a hand massage because she didnt know how and was asking other employees how to fix my broken nail. She also tested the cuticle cutter on herself then continued using it on me (WHAT?). Overall the salon wasnt very clean. It looks like they havent cleaned in a week or 2, which gave me major anxiety.I would give them 1 star if my nails didnt come out well. Honestly, Id prefer not going back.

My gel manicure started chipping 2 days in. Will never step foot again

Stopped in to get my daughters eyebrows waxed and a mani. Was told they only take online appointments now and when I asked if their were any available in the next day or so......was told they were only able to see cancellations. The womans attitude was very short and nonchalant. She had no desire to answer my question and didnt care to make another sale. Sorry but its not like this place is high end......Ill take my business to Branford from now on. Dont waste your time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Got a full set in February. By the first time I went for a fill, they were popping off and the whole set had to be scrapped within six weeks.The place is adequately clean.The designs are adequately pretty, but nothing impressive. I didnt get the design I specifically pointed out, so I cant say how well the nail tech who waited on me can duplicate a design.

My daughter got her nails done there yesterday. Its her 4th time there. She loves it. Very friendly & personable staff. Clean.

I usually h ave a good experience here. My nails look great and I feel like the UV gel I picked will protect my nails better.

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. A couple girls do a good job but majority are really young & inexperienced I literally have a small bald slash in my eyebrow; she was so nice I told her they werent very good, paid & left but I wanted to be mean & yell & kill her Lol dont get your eyebrows done here !

I go every two wks and see kim she does beyond great work and always accomodates whatever i want done for colors and designs, everyone is really down to earth and nice i have no issue, plus its like a block from home so far i have never had any issue, in over a year i had two nails break only of my own fault, and ive never had to replace a set or had any problems

Over all first experience was very very unpleasant, I had pedi and mani and both were not good quality at all!! That’s 56$ down the drain. Initially it was supposed to be 28$ for Gel nails but he changed me 31$ for very short nails. I still visible “as the sun” white dead skin on both my feet and hands. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible . Julie (store manager) did my refill, she cut me 3 times ! And my refill REGULAR ARCYLIC, was $30! I wouldn’t recommend going here .

Was my first experience there. they had a trainee do my nail which was okay since I have a daughter but before ask me if I want a trainee do my nails

I have been going to LV for about 3 years I never had an issue, but this weekend I got a gel manicure and a eyebrow wax. I was charged $47 that’s kinda steep, the prices changed but if your going to charge me $35 for gel manicure at least replace your old nail polish. Plus it was not a good manicure. Very disappointed with the polish.
