We have rented a house from VS Rich for over a year and have had a wonderful experience, most certainly our best rental experience to date. We knew it would be the house we brought our first child home to, so our standards were a little higher than normal. Their properties are reasonably priced, and the staff was very responsive to any issues that came up with the house. We are moving cities and will miss April and Vicky and our wonderful house. We highly recommend renting from them!

Vickie and staff were perfect for 2years. Even when neighbors tried to bully others, the staff mediated quickly. Even during the pandemic, VS Rich Property was the best.

I spent about 4 months looking for my next rental before finding two great places by VS Rich in the same day! Their properties are well priced and well taken care of. My experience with Vicky, April, and the rest of the office was nothing but positive. Theyre quick to respond to issues and very communicative. I would not hesitate to rent from them again and definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a reasonable priced rental from a caring property management company.

So disappointed with vs rich,poor quality service,my house have a lot cockroach and rats,have a water infiltration and the walls got mold,I call so many times and they never resolved the problems and they still increased the rent,the house started smelling mold, we needed to moved out,I have the worsted experience in my life with them, I never recommend,not professional.

V.S. Rich was hands down the best landlord Ive had and Ive rented from 5 places in Durham and a couple more where Im from in California. The staff in the office are extremely nice and always reply promptly and make things easy. The maintenance team is also responsive and hardworking and makes sure things in your place are well taken care of. And the property I stayed in was a real gem of a place.

If you make one error in your payments they remove all online pay options and force you to pay by cashier check during a deadly pandemic. Find housing elsewhere.

Vicky was the absolute best landlord, she would always do her best to make sure she took care of me and and my neighbors who also rented from her. The property has always been well kept and whenever something would go wrong the office staff always made sure to hop right on it to make sure what needed to be done was done. I am so grateful for Vicky and the people in the office who ensure i can keep a roof over my head.

I rented from them for 6 years. The staff are amazing! Friendly and very helpful no matter what the issue was. Maintenance responds to calls quickly and always fixed the problem, and were courteous and respectful. The only reason I moved was to be closer to work. They also refunded part of my security deposit after 6 years! I wasn’t expecting any of it back. Very honest people. I can’t say enough good things about them!

We got into contact with the company to rent a home. We sent in our IDs and tried to apply. They insisted that we come to view the home before we apply, and we let them know that we would be getting up at 6 in the morning to come view the property from our home over 120 miles away. They did not contact us to let us know that it had already been rented, instead waiting until we showed up, they recognized us from our IDs, and they flatly told us that it was already taken.

I do not recommend having business with these people. Vicky was probably the rudest and most disrespectful property owner I have ever met. They own a property next to my house. The fencing around their property is broken and has leaned over into my property which give a dangerous and ugly look to my and also their tenants backyard. I kept calling and leaving messages for Vicky, the property manager and managed to talk to her after probably fifth time. She calls her tenant a HOARDER and promises to resolve this problem within a month by taking down the fencing! Six weeks later and nothing happened. I call again and leave a message with one of the staff and no call back! Several days later I call again and the lady who picks up says shes here but busy to talk to you! So I decide to go to their office and meet with her and they play the busy game again and once I told them I wont leave until I meet with her she shows up few minutes later. Long story short, she had a terrible attitude and tried to blame everything for not fixing it yet and made another fake promise to fix it sometime next month.

Vs rich is a good team. Affordable and well maintained properties for rent. Good attitude. Property mgt isnt easy and they do a good job. My tenants are happy which makes me happy.

Ive been renting from vs rich for about 2 years now. Anytime Ive ever had an issue they were more than happy to assist me with that. The customer service from Autumn and April is awesome theyre always happy and excited to assist each and every guest with great customer service. Great staff. Excellent maintenance. Also a great response time to water damages by professional carpet care. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to live on a budget. Autumn is very helpful and super friendly to everyone.

The staff was consistently very rude and unaccountable, often very completing my maintenance request and forcing me to call 7 times in a 3 day period. Ms. Vickie, was especially rude often acting annoyed to have to speak with me and being aggressive on the phone.Additionally, the property was trash, a portion of the ceiling fell in randomly and their were mice living in the basement.

How are they even a business? They are the rudest people I have ever talked to. I have had to threaten a lawyer multiple times. I own my home, but rent my land, and the fact that the land owner hired them to take care of my neighborhood is shocking. They absolutely suck, and have 0 people skills. Whitehall III LLC, if youre reading this, hire a new company. Ive lived on your property longer then you have owned it. Please respect your tenants and do something about this.

The landlord has a terrible attitude, rude and no matter what your issue is she never tries to resolve the issue. I do not recommend nobody to live in any of there properties. It took them a whole year to fix a leak in front of my house. It was a bad smell and every time it rained the hole outside would fill up. When we first moved in Vickie came to the apartment and looked me in my face and stated the things that needed to be fixed was not that serious. When it came time to move out everything was cleaned and I have pictures to show proof what was cleaned. She lied to one of my references that my household was dirty when she entered in. If you are black she has no respect and talks to you any kind of way. Again, I will tell the world to never rent from Vickie! There were also bats flying out at night and would come in the vents we stayed in. We reported this the whole time we stayed there. One person came out and stated they would not come set traps because they didn’t want to come get attacked. The landscaping out at these apartments sucked! As a person in a professional business she is the worst! How do you take somebody money when we had a leak in front of our apartment? That’s absolutely unacceptable! Beware of this slumlord 😡

This company is very unprofessional with very poor customer service skills. I applied with this company for a house on May 3. The representative mentioned that there was another application on it already and when I asked her if there was she went to go check and never came back. After submitting my app.I called for 5 days straight and they still had not processed it. Not only that they were really rude about it. After 2 weeks passed and I called and advised I would like to have my funds back because I no longer wanted to apply and he advised me that as long as my funds had not been used I could pick them up. There is no way that my funds have been used and my application has not been processed. And the man threatened to hang up on me. This is absurd. very unprofessional. I have even recommended people to them and was told that they were rude to them! These people are dealing with housing. This is people lives at stake and my lease ended 5/31. There is no way that I should still be waiting for you to process my application.

I like the house I am renting from this company, but there are several reasons why I will not renew my lease. First, the office staff is very rude and unfriendly, especially Ricky. Second, they are slow to respond to maintenance and repair requests. Also, I am surprised home owners allow their properties to be managed by this company in the first place--many of the homes sit vacant for months because they dont know how to advertise. They also seem to have a hard time keeping track of paperwork.
