Previous owner of my truck had dual exhaust engine growlers for a little 4.7 V8. Over the years, I got used to it, but when it finally started rusting and falling apart, I found Bob online since he was close to where I lived. Called and Bob gave me a quote over the phone and was ready for me to come in. Bob was very friendly, restored the factory exhaust setup on my truck in 30 minutes, and had me out the door. I recently hit a piece of metal debris on the road and got a chunk taken out of my exhaust system pipe. I called, explained the damage over the phone, was quoted a fair price (same that my visiting mechanic brother in law quoted). He told me to bring it in the next morning at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20, was immediately waved onto the lift. He hoisted the car up, took a look, quoted me $20 less than he had originally over the phone. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Car sounds good as new, I would absolutely recommend Bobs to any one who has exhaust system work that they need done quickly and fairly!

Bob put a new exhaust system on my 2016 Ram 2500. The new system really brought my 6.4L to life. I have a 45 minute ride from work to home and measured the fuel mileage yesterday on the way home. I had more power at lower rpms and picked up 2.3 mpg. The truck really sounds good and runs even better than before. The truck now runs and sounds like a truck should. Great growl at low rpms and quit at cruising speeds. Oh the major factor. The wife really loves it to. Thank you to Bob for a great job. Folks say buy local. Showed up without notice and happened to catch him at a good time. He was quick and responsive to me needing my muffler looked at. I Came to this shop because of it high reviews and Bobs did not disappoint! My exhaust pipe had completely broken off just before the Catalytic Converter. He assessed the situation in seconds and gave me a better than fair quote on the spot. I stayed in the Shop area for a good conversation and he replaced the Catalytic Converter and welded the pipes back together in about 30 minutes. This is the best Exhaust Shop in the Triangle and i will definitely recommend Bobs Radiator & Muffler to anyone who needs exhaust work done!

Very reasonably priced and got my flex pipe replaced in about a half an hour. After I left, I heard a different noise, was worried it might be something else exhaust related, I called back. He was honest that he wasn’t going to have time to get to it that day but asked if I could be there first thing the next morning. I ended up not needing to go back because that noise went away. Very friendly and felt like I was taking my car to a family friend. Will definitely take any of our cars back here if the need arises!

I picked Bobs for my exhaust system work based on reviews, and I was not disappointed. I was scheduled to work every weekday from 6am-5pm for several weeks in a row when my car broke. I got to the shop right after it opened on a Monday morning, and Bob jump to weld my heat shield back on. Took my 2012 Mercedes E550 over to Bob after a disappointing experience at another local muffler shop. I was looking to modify my exhaust to let the 400+ horsepower this car has sing their song. We looked over the car, made a game plan and started. The initial work he did was fairly simple and he charged a fair price based on my research. Hes a very nice guy who is open to suggestions as well. And he was happy to work with me in stages to make sure I get the sound I want instead of just telling me I need to replace the entire system and hope for the best. Theres more work to be done to my car and Ill be coming back to see Bob in the next couple of weeks. Its great that he is a solo operation that takes cash only. It keeps things simple. The other shop I had previously taken a car too had 2-3 guys and they were sitting around drinking beers when I came in, their suggestions were very poor, and the quality of their work left much to be desired. Its good to now have a more reliable local muffler shop!

Diagnosed the problem in ten seconds and fixed my converter issue in thirty minutes while I waited. Very fair prices. He has been doing this for 30+ years and you can tell. I was referred to Bobs Radiator and Muffler shop by Atlantic Tire and Battery. I called Bob to let him know I would stop by on my lunch break to have him provide a quote to repair my exhaust. He said yes, cmon over and we will put it on the lift and see whats the trouble. Arrived and drove right onto the lift. He quickly pointed out the trouble which would require a new muffler. He said he could replace the entire muffler at a fraction of the cost of ordering a factory replacement. I told him I would arrive the next morning at 0730 and he said he would have me done in 30 minutes. He actually had me done in 25 minutes. I was extremely impressed with his customer service and quality of work. We chatted for a little while after the job and I complimented him on his facility and providing this service to the local community. Custom exhaust work is a lost art and he is one of artisans still performing, and still getting it done.Definitely recommend his shop over the local franchise muffler outlets.Definitely going back whenever I have work to be accomplished.Thank you !!!!!!
