Yesterday was my first time coming to natural crown hair studio everyone was very nice and very professional the owner was very sweet and every time I ask ms. Courtney about any of her services she was very detail and explained everything to me. this salon is one of the best salons I have been to in PA and I will be going back and bringing my babies as well! I came in after having a really bad day and being there was very relaxing ☺️the young lady that did my hair was very nice and professional also well.

I got my hair colored by Courtney(owner) and she did a great job. My only complaint is the price discrepancy. When I went for my consultation, I asked Destiny(one of the stylist) about how much my service will be, she stated that it can be anywhere between $125-$160 depending on what style I’ll get after the color. The day of my appointment I got my hair colored and my ends trimmed, I was at the shop for 5hrs just for color and trim, and I didn’t have anymore time to wait to get my hair style, After my hair was done Courtney charge me $200 and this is just for color and trim not including styling, I was surprised and didn’t know what to say as the service was done already and I don’t have time for the back and forth. I couldn’t tip her after that. My tip is pay attention to the price you’re told and confirm before you get the service!

I am so glad I finally found a place that knows my hair type and did a great job! Very friendly and inviting atmosphere and COVID-19 aware. No doubt I will be going back for future services.

If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. I received passion twists from this studio and the entire process was rushed and the twists were even worse. My hair wasn’t tucked at all and the braids ended up slipping within a few days. When I reached out to the owner asking for either some sort of refund or way to fix the poorly done hair her response was “passion twists aren’t for everyone”. I believe this salon would work for someone who does not care about their money or how their hair is done. It is unfortunate because the reviews seemed to be pretty good. I ended up telling my other friends who had appointments to cancel because they can find better quality somewhere else.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a salon who specializes in natural hair care. These ladies are wonderful. Very nice and pleasant. They make you feel comfortable. No matter the condition of your hair they will make you feel and look beautiful! Very clean and decent place. Love them!!

I was looking forward to booking an appt with this salon, but I saw the communication between the owner and a client and believe my money can be spent elsewhere for better. If customer service is off then likely the rest of the appointment will be. What a shame. Although I have never been to the studio, seeing the work that was done and reading the conversations between the client and owner was enough. Unfortunately we have to rely on reviews especially with a no refund policy.

My hair stylist was great! I got a wash, conditioning, and scalp treatment. My hair was so clean and soft. Also, the trim I received was very well done, you can tell my stylist has great technical hair skills. The only negative is waiting an hour and a half to get started after making an appointment. My stylist apologied several times and so I included a tip at the end. I would definitely go back but only when I have the time to wait longer than an hour to be serviced. Id definitely recommend because of the final outcome of my hair.

When entering you immediately see how clean and comfortable the environment looks. All the spaces I went it were clean- even the bathroom. They are professional with all the questions they ask you and I personally enjoy how they didnt try to have much unnecessary conversation with me because I could fully relax during the experience. Although getting a ponytail was a bit expensive for me (about $150) it was worth it because the end result was sleek, clean, and comfortable. They also provide you with real hair so thats why the cost is more than you might think. The bundles they provide you with are reusable since they are real hair so if you want another ponytail, you can get it with the same bundles for less money. Overall, this was the best experience Ive had at any hair studio and I definitely be coming back!

Its perhaps one of the few, if not the only place, in my part of DELCO that does Black hair or all varieties--and that God they do it so well!!!! Not only hair but nails and skin care. I visited this salon about two weeks ago just on a whim from the Google reviews. I must say that I was welcomed as soon as I came into the salon and it was a very professional experience. I was styled by Destiny and she took her time washing my hair which I feel is a very important step in hair care. She explained everything that she did to my hair before doing and was very nice. I feel that a little less product could have been used but that’s my personal preference because I like my hair to be more lightweight but other than that, she definitely took her time and I would definitely schedule another appointment. Very clean salon as well which is important in these times.

I have been looking for a natural hair care salon in my area for a while. I came across Naturally Crowned Hair Studio and I think I found a salon that will fit my needs. As we with hair damage can attest to it takes a caring soul to be able to look at your hair issue and make you feel at ease. Courtney is that person her energy is unlike any others she welcomed me into her salon she doesnt judge she has a caring, loving aura. She pays attention to your needs because I know nothing about hair care but she took on my hair issue and made me feel comfortable. Her staff is equally amazing. Sometimes the first person you meet at a business will be the person who sets the stage for how your experience will be. Destiny definitely is that person. Its beautiful that Courtney has surrounded herself with caring personalities. Hair journeys can be a struggle but I think I finally found a home.

I first found out about this shop a year when I first started considering growing my hair again. Due to covid-19 I was forced to start growing my hair on my own. So I decided to make an appointment to get my hair done. When I arrived I was greeted with nothing but professionalism and good vibes from Destiny and Courtney. I was unable to get the service that I booked for my appointment due to the fact that my hair wasnt long enough. I was aware of this before my arrival but I tried to see if my hair was long enough to get the style that I wanted anyway. Courtney recommended I get coils and I agreed. She laid out a plan for me to keep growing and I agreed. Destiny went above and beyond to make me feel at ease, so much so that I ended up falling asleep while I was getting my hair washed and conditioned. Courtney made me feel comfortable and right at home. I was so comfortable I fell asleep while she was doing my coils. Long story short Id recommend and refer anyone to come to this shop. Courtney and Destiny are very knowledgeable in their field and they know what theyre doing.

I had my hair done here for the first time today. I was met with professionalism and courtesy. Mikeya was my stylist and very knowledgeable on NATURAL hair care( as they all are). I LITERALLY had no wait time before she started on my hair. Which is a HUGE plus for me (I hate to have to wait for forever). For me it was an EXPERIENCE! One that I throughly enjoyed! The ambiance is very welcoming as are the staff. My hair felt and looked AMAZING after I was done. They offer SEVERAL different services there, from lashes to manis and pedis that Im sure I will take advantage of in the near future. I am sooooo pleased to had found them in my area as it had been a struggle for me to find a salon THAT close that specializes in natural hair care. The styles are endless! Kudos to these ladies for all they do to help women feel and look beautiful 💜 They have made a faithful client out of me. Lemme go bounce my beautiful, silky hair. I feel amazing. I highly recommend them.Note: I just need to see how well my hair holds up before I give the last star. I have no doubt that it will look and feel just as great a few weeks from now.

My 16 yr old son currently has braids and went there for service. It was our 1st time there and Malaysia and the owner were very friendly and professional. The salon is beautiful with a section to get your nails and feet done which I cant wait to try out in September. #blackwealthmatters

I had purchased gel manicure on Groupon. My appointment was at 9am. The manager was running late so they opened late n I wasn’t taken till 9.15. The girls were not dressed professionally at all, one had on pajama n hoodie and didn’t respond to my good morning.After Covid screen questions, I went in the back they had no barrier setup between the nail tech and client. The color I choose they didn’t have, so the closest color the tech showed me was a small tester bottle. When she opened it to show me the color, it looked old n so thick. I told her I’ll change my color.When she went to get the towel, I saw they options for opi. I had to ask the tech to change to that.At the end of service my nails looked nothing like I had gotten a manicure done. By the evening, the side of nails where already coming out. N today is 2nd day, top the nail is chipped out, n others are I am sure will chip off in a day or two!I have gotten manicures first, but this one was terrible!

I scheduled an appt and paid a deposit way back before Covid -19. And still have not heard back from anyone in the shop. I have emailed several times and called to get a refund and some answers. There has still been no response from the stylist or the owner. They just made made sure to seen out auto generated emails ask for money on there go fund me page. This is very unprofessional. Crisis or not your customer are what makes your business and it should be priority to get in contact with each and everyone. They cannot say they dont have your information because they make you fill out a form about your hair care before you get serviced and have all your email saved to sent the generated message that are fake personalized. I would never recommend this show because they are so unprofessional.

I had the pleasure of being serviced at Naturally Crowned hair studio. I arrived, called and was allowed inside within 5 minutes. I waited in the free parking lot as COVID-19 protocols are in place. I was greeted by a nice young lady who took my temperature and showed me where to wait. I was happy to see their COVID-19 precautions. Signs posted, sanitizer, cleaning solution, face mask & 6 feet or more a part. I was then greeted by Tanesha who welcomed me & introduced herself to me as my stylist. In a short time im taken to get my shampoo. NOW, I dont enjoy salons for various reasons and even considered cutting my hair off to avoid them. I expressed that to her halfway through. I can honestly say this salon experience was AWESOME. I had the best scalp treatment from my stylist. She asked me questions and talked about the products used. After my shampoo she was CLEANING surfaces & helping other stylist. She moved very fast & tried hard to not have me sitting super long. In between each step she cleaned, wash hands and sanitized. The other stylist were spraying & wiping too. :-) It seemed like every one genuinely helped each other. The discussions were appropriate as kids were being serviced too. My hair feels healthy and light. It smells good and looks neat. Tanesha showed me my hair in the big mirror & a photo was taken of my hair. She made me smile a lot at this visit. I was asked if I wanted to schedule again but not pressured. I appreciated that as I have a busy ever-changing schedule. I told them that I would prefer the same stylist, she told me her schedule and how I can book with her. Overall, the ladies at Naturally Crowned will have you looking nice and feeling good. If you want a good experience, try this salon. Im confident that I will be booking here again.

I was searching for somewhere to get my hair pressed forever, and just when I’d almost given up and went to the Dominican salon, lo and behold, just a few minutes away sat Naturally crowned. I made my appointment over the phone quick and easy.On the day of my appointment, I got there and was pleasantly greeted. Courtney and the team made me feel welcome. I got a caramel treatment with a press and trim which I was very satisfied with. Even my husband was impressed. I definitely recommend.

The salon is very clean and h its a cute style with gold accents and painted chairs. So cute. The stylists were warm and addressed me by name..by name. My first time going and they were talking to me like I was an old friend. I felt so welcomed. The assistants checked on me as I waited and made sure I was comfortable. Courtney told me exactly when Id be serviced and walked me through every step prior to beginning. I got a Deva Cut because my journey is to have healthy curly hair and she explained each step and how the products worked. This is what your experience should be, welcoming, educational, encouraging. Courtney is a great stylist. Im a perfectionist, so finding someone to maintain my locs is extremely important to me. This is only my 3rd visit and my hair has grown quite a bit. Im excited to see how my locs will look a year from now.

I started coming to the salon back in August and I have to say that each time Ive come the staff is always warm and welcoming. I love their knowledge on natural hair care and their willingness to inform the client. I even started bring my daughter here too and she loves it. Also, I witnessed first hand the owner dealing with a difficult person over the phone and I was really impressed on how well she handled herself. She definitely maintain her professionalism throughout the entire phone call. Courtney and Shana are the best and I think they make a good team and I love my locs:-)

I was looking for a place that specialized in healthy natural hair, and this salon was recommended! Absolutely love my first visit!! Really professional, knowledgeable about hair care, stylist took their time, and there was really no wait time! Ill definitely be sticking to Courtney (Salon Owner) for a long time to come! It’s a 1 stop for all things beauty spot. The ladies are so friendly and welcoming. I took study materials but didn’t open not one thing. It was a true studio experience. My daughters were both telling me how much they liked and they would love to go back. Thanks ladies for making me and my daughters so comfortable.

Got a Groupon for dip nails and pedicure for good price. Called to make a appointment and was told a credit card needed to make an appointment. I made appointment for 12pm and got there on time but was not worked on till 1:30pm. The nail tech was a little heavy handed on the cuticles and while using the nail drill. My nails and feet turned out just okay. However the salon was clean and pretty.

My experience was great. The staff was playful and really seemed to enjoy each other. I went on Friday and they offer a glass of wine or mimosas with service. All products are natural and salon is clean and professional. New clients have to answer a questionnaire before any serv and you dont see that often. Its a full service salon.. I just walked in and was seen in less than 10 min

So... where do I begin. From the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a warm friendly face. I immediately felt at home. My shampoo was heavenly! These women really mean what they say. I was treated like royalty. The respect and knowledge of my hair I received just blew my mind. Needless to say my locs were bomb! Thank you so much Courtney and Destiny. You ladies really made me feel like I was wearing a CROWN! Cant wait to come back.

This is a shame I have to give this score because the stylists this I ever had are really good and nice, however on three different visits to this establishment I have received different experiences. The first time was when she was back in Clifton, and I had waited for 10 minutes before anyone would acknowledge that I was there trying to schedule an appointment. It wasn’t until I left that the owner came running down the block asking what was wrong and I expressed that you were deep in conversation, so I left. She brought me back and told me what I wanted to get done would be $50. At the time of the appointment everything was going well until she told me that my cost was now $65 after she already completed the work. I bit my tongue because that’s how I was raised and kindly gave her the money. She was already going to get $70 as I had intended to tip $20. However I did not as she inflated the cost on me after a price was agreed upon.The second trip was much better and the style I chose costed $65 from beginning to end. No inflation added.However I go into the shop today trying to get the same style done again and the kind person who greeted me didn’t know how to price it, so she went to the owner. I already knew the price but I wanted to confirm with her, when she came back she told me the style would cost me $90. That’s a very far difference from $65 let alone $50 from the first time. I casually backed out of the establishment and wished them all well.I truly do wish y’all well, I just want future patrons who are looking for a decent establishment in lower Delco what they could be in for. Good luck in the future but these experiences need to be heard if future business owners want to succeed.

Terrible experience. The upside is the girls are very nice, the salon is clean, but I had a terrible experience. I went in the salon in need of a “big chop” the girl washed my hair, blow dried it, and trimmed it. I have curly hair, I wear my natural curls, but I needed the chop to rejuvenate them. That wasn’t what I got. I left the salon looking like a troll doll, and I didn’t have enough time to correct the girl because my appointment was at 1:00, but I got to the back about 2:00 or 2:30, and by the time she was “finished” my hair it was 3:30 and I had to leave. I’m just not happy.

Very welcoming salon, I decided to test my luck and walked in on a Friday, Courtney the owner was honest and said she was booked solid for the rest of the day but took my number and said she would call if she could squeeze me and my girlfriend in and later tht day I got a call we could come in. She was still busy but stayed late to hook us up. We was very thankful due to the fact we had somewhere to go Saturday. Very nice atmosphere and people, even thru emails Courtney response to you within hours. Hair looks great and if you like to sip while you wait they have wine on Fridays. Def recommend for your natural hair care needs.

This place is terrible for nails. I had to go 3 times because they never have nail artist. I had to go because I bought a group on. Christine took an hour to do only my pedi n didn’t clean anything at all. I had to leave without my gel manicure because she said she can’t do the shape that I want because my nails aren’t good. Honestly I’ve natural long nails and even if I agree my nails aren’t nicer but that’s why I went there and spend my money so they can make it look nice. I don’t do reviews a lot but I think this place is making customers fool about their nail services. I’d never recommend anyone to go dere for nails.

I had the worse service from the owner. The girl who did my nails was nice, however she was not well informed on how to treat natural nails. She did my nails(dip powder) and almost all of them cracked. I was bleeding and went to get my nails repaired but the owner said they couldnt see me that day. I had to come back the next day. I couldnt wait that long so I went to another nail salon to get all of my nails repaired. Not only did she not give good service, she was not very inviting. I love people and love to support them, but they way they treat others is not nice. Im never going back here. They do not care for the customer, only the money. FYI, it doesnt matter if I used a groupon or not. Your services should always be good. I still ended up paying more then the price of the groupon, because of extra fees and that is fine. I had no issues with that. Like I said, it needs to be improved. This is just a lesson learned and will not be repeated. You are just lucky I didnt get an infection on my nails.

Before I started going to Courtney, my hair was dry and unmanageable. Ever since I found Courtney I have been going to her salon to get my hair done. The first time she did my hair I loved it! When I say I loved my hair, I really loved it! My hair has now became soft, manageable, and I can tell that it has grown a lot! Courtney has put my hair back in good condition, so Courtney thank you and you are the one!

Purchased on groupon and so glad I did! Longest lasting mani pedi I had ever had done, even after a long beach visit which never happens. Courtney is amazing with my brows too, which is so hard to come by. Busy shop but personable and worth the wait !!

Naturally crowned studio has great amazing service ms. mrs. Courtney is amazing she will ask you if your hair is too tight if you want a break then she would offer you somthing to drink she works so very hard she is a kind and genuine and a hard working business woman and hair stylist i definitely recommend naturally crowned hair stylist..☺

I visited this salon for the first time today and really enjoyed the experience. I got a loc retwist and style by Cortney, and I love it! When I got home my husband complimented my hair as soon as I walked in. The shampoo felt great, and I loved the hot oil treatment. My locs feel very hydrated, too. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, which is very important to me. Ill be back, for sure! (There were other women there getting natural hair styles like twists and braids and their styles came out really good, too. These stylists are talented!)

My gel manicure didn’t even last 24 hours smh it was a waste of money

Been a client for over 2 years of the owner. Shes had this salon for a year. Work is great, hair will grow. Bare with scheduling, everyone wants their hair done when they know its done right. Lol. Natural styles are my go to and I cant complain. Check the website for specials and deals. 😉

I bought my daughter here twice once for my wedding and again to get a trim and curl. Both times the staff was professional and the styles came out beautifully. We will be returning in the future.

The Mani pedi was smudged and took over 3 hours because the person in front of me had an issue with her nails and the tech tried to fix it .The manager or owner of the salon was aware because she got waxed for free,but nothing was done for me. I had a groupon,and it wasnt even worth the Groupon price.The nail tech was rough and even though she was running behind nobody offered to help her,they didnt offer me a drink and didnt even acknowledge that I was there for so long.This was the worst experience ever and after 3 hours and a terrible dip powder job I was stressed out and late for my appointment.I could not stay to get it fixed . I left without saying a word and sat in my car and cried because it looked so bad and this is not a luxury that I usually spend money on.

So I purchased a Groupon and wanted to go get my nails done with one of my girlfriends so when we called we were told they couldnt take us both for that day. Cool, she decided to get her nails done elsewhere cause she needed it done for an event. A debit card was necessary to hold the appointment. I set up my appointment for 1pm. I was driving from Pottstown so I was about 15 mins behind which was fine since that was their grace period. I even went and got food close by because the nail tech still wasnt done with her last client. I loved the set up, clean, they had a comfortable seating area, charging station, magazines to choose from and even food (Chic-fil-A) to snack on while we wait. I waited for over an hour so I tried to kill time and look for a nail color so I asked for a display. I was handed a display and after choosing the nail tech told me to choose from the wall since they didnt have all the colors presented on the display. I pick a color and waited an additional 15 mins past the hour wait before I was seen. She tells me to pick a pedi station to sit and she goes to clean a whole other station. I move my seat and once started, she was heavy on my cuticles and nail endings to the point where they bled a little. It was time for my nails to get done and the groupon included a gel manicure plus pedi. I already had acrylics on and needed a refill. She stated that the groupon didnt cover a refill so I asked how much extra it would cost. She replied by saying she wouldnt be able to do the refill because she was already supposed to be leaving so I would have to set up a separate appointment and offered to paint over my unfilled nails. I declined and offered to pay for the completed pedicure and cancelled the groupon. She wanted me to pay $25 for the pedicure alone. I certainly wont be returning. I wish them the best of luck.

I’ve been here twice in the last 2 days I’ll continue to come back! My first visit was as a walk-in customer. I was greeted promptly and in a professional manner. The nail tech was busy but was able to see me within about 20 minutes of me being there and although she only had time for my pedicure as a walk-in that day she squeezed me in for a refill the next day. Hours after leaving I realized I had lost something extremely valuable to me [my wedding ring] and I was frantic bcuz by the time I realized they had already closed but I decided to call anyways. To my surprise and delight someone answered & I was informed that it was there & and that the owner had put it up for me. 😊 I went back the next day for my appointment and was so happy when Cortney (the owner) handed me an envelope with my ring in it! My wait today was long...really long but honestly I didn’t complain bcuz Myana fit me into her schedule and when she realized she was running behind gave me the option to reschedule and I choose to stay due to my schedule. I barely noticed the wait tho bcuz the environment was so inviting and friendly. Anyways I live down the street from NC and I’m glad there is a black owned hair/nail studio close by.
