I would easily give this shop all the stars but the fact that you have to watch Newsmax on TV which supported the Big lie and all the extreme view stuff causes me to look elsewhere for a haircut. I love their work but the politics on the TV is not worth it for me.

I came here a couple of hours after a bad haircut from another local salon; the bangs on one side were terrible and I decided to just shave them off since Id been wanting to do a side-shave for a while anyway. Nine To Nine was the only place that was open after my shift at work ended, but I called them prior to my walk-in to see if they could help me out and Oracio was very kind and honest over the phone. Ron was immediately friendly and accommodating as soon as I walked in, and helped me out with my asymmetric side-shave request on my shoulder-length hair, which I can imagine was definitely unconventional for a more traditional barber shop. Regardless, Ron didnt try to dissuade my strange request; rather, he listened and then took great care informing me of what he was doing and making sure everything was in order before he turned on the clippers. I was pretty nervous when I came in, but the atmosphere was comfortable and quiet, and everyone was very laid back. I am extremely grateful for the kindness, efficiency, and professionalism I experienced. More traditional cuts, fades, and trims will find themselves right at home here, but they still managed to make me feel at home as well! Thank you!

Been told over and over that if I want a good haircut, go to a barber shop. After getting butchered by great clips over a month ago I finally decided to try my local barber. Yeah... it backfired. After showing photos of how I typically get my cut back home, I thought the barber would’ve been able to recreate the look.Now my hair is way too short vs how I typically cut it, and my head looks awkward. Ehh... on to another shop after letting my hair grow out again.

My Barber was Anthony. This guy did an amazing job. Best haircut I’ve had in years! I highly recommend having him cut your hair. He did above and beyond what I had expected going in.

Ive been going here for the past 5 years and get my haircuts with Brandon and the only issue Ive had is having to get restraining orders on people for wanting to touch my perfectly cut hair. Everyone is always having good time and looking better walking out than they did going in.

Nine to Nine has a super cool vintage barbershop feel. I appreciate the warm greetings from the staff when I arrive or when I call in to schedule an appt. Brandon cuts my hair 2-3 times a month and he is a highly skilled young man. Before I found a home at Nine to Nine, I had bounced around all over the valley crossing my fingers that I’d get a good cut. I appreciate this local business a great deal for offering such premium service. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone.

These guys are great. I’ve had several different barbers there cut my hair and they all do a good job. Oracio and Rick are my go-to guys and are always good for conversation and a good haircut.

This has been my go-to barber for the last couple of years.Great old school style barber, still do old fashioned razor shaves.I can confirm that most negative experiences here have come from a past barber who took walk-ups and has since left.Rick is the co-owner and has a a lot of experience.I recommend him and Brandon.Oracio is good too (only used him once).I WOULD NOT recommend coming as a walk up, youll be better off getting who you want by making a reservation in advance.

I have to say that this is one of the best barber shops Ive experienced. They listen to you and check in during the process making sure the cut is what youre wanting. They also have impeccable, professional taste and skills when it comes to picking out styles for different head shapes.

20+ years getting my haircut at the barbershop!!!

Came in for a beard trim today and was very disappointed. The barber I was with had absolutely no idea what she was doing and left the beard uneven and lopsided. That and they don’t use the straight edge razor even though this is a barber shop. Had to go somewhere else afterwards to fix the mess that was made. Would not recommend coming here, but maybe other barbers at the shop are better. I have never left a negative review before, but the inconvenience to me and poor job that was done had to be mentioned.

Today I got one of, if not the best, haircuts of my life. Anthony is a very talented barber, and I will most certainly be back for another great haircut.

Been going here for years even though I now live a fair distance away. Im a habitual walk-in so Ive been in the seat of most of the barbers enough to give a pretty thorough review. If I rated Rick and Ron alone, they would definitely receive 5 stars--phenomenal skill and customer service all around. Dave was very skilled, but he recently retired and thats changed the shop dynamics a bit. The newer barbers on staff dont have quite as much experience and sometimes it shows, but they are very skilled and listen to what you want. Absolutely would recommend to anyone to come on by. Dont follow my example though--actually set up an appointment so you dont have to wait when they get busy.

Been going here for years. Theyre all master barbers, and anyone you see will give you a great cut. My hair has never looked better. My brother and his boys come from Idaho every 4 weeks just for haircuts, and drive right back, so they feel the end product is worth the drive.

Best barber shop Ive found in the salt lake City valley. Everything is old school, including the chairs and the straight razor service. The staff is wonderful and give a great haircut and conversation. Theyll even shine your shoes while youre in the chair!

Everyone I have encountered has been friendly, the atmosphere has been great, and my experience has been that the professionalism and attention to detail in the haircuts cant be beat. This was the worst haircut I ever had. They cut into my hair in a random place to the skin. I dont understand how they are staying in business with this kind of customer treatment.------------------------------------------------------Update: to the owner who responded. This is no exaggeration at all unfortunately. Since then I have found a great stylist -- she charges at least three times as much, but at least I know what Im getting.

Rick does a commendable job. The atmosphere is welcoming and leaves you with a fresh feel afterward. This shop makes it easy to clarify your expectations thus preventing expectations from being violated.

I have gotten my hair cut 3 times here. First by Rick, next by Gina and lastly by Alberto. The hair cuts started good but got worse each time. This last time was awful, I had to go home and go over all the sides with the clippers because it was really uneven. Its one thing for the hair cut to not style like you want, its a totally different thing when its not even on the sides. I would expect this from a $10 quick cuts but not a $20+ barber shop.

I initially thought Gina did a decent job but after my sons shower we noticed all the uneven areas. We asked her to leave his bangs long at the front and she chopped them off, basically the front looks like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. And the back of his hair looks like Alfalfa from Little Rascals!!! Never going there again. Luckily we still have a few weeks before school hopefully his hair luckily we still have a few weeks before school hopefully his hair will grow out so we can go get his hair fixed somewhere else....

9 to 9 is awesome, Ive been coming to them for years, clear back to when they were The Clean Cut on State in Murray. My son is now 13, he now gets his haircut by Rick. I use to bring him in with me when i got my haircut, he was a baby in a carseat then! Most likely the worst haircut I have ever received. Asked for a one on the back and sides and fade up top with only taking a finger length off on top. My barber did not fade anything. As far as the hair on top, the left side is quite noticeably longer than the right side. I ended up going to Supercuts to have them fix it.

Great 8;old fashion shop

I have never really had a good experience at this barbershop from the handful of times I have been here. But todays haircut was the the worst by far. I had an appointment set, and I still ended up waiting a half hour before I could sit in the chair. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, because the past times of trying to just tell him havent worked. Yet he managed to make this the worst of all of them, even with the picture. It looks nothing like what i wanted. Rather then charge me the normal 15 dollars he charged 18, because it was a specialty cut. The only thing special about it was that it took him an hour and a half to cut it! Why should it take that long to cut mens hair? After my hair grows back in 3 months i will definitely be finding a new barbershop. I would never recommend this barbershop to anyone.

Terrible haircut! My hair line was pushed about an inch up, was crooked, and my hair had patches in it. All I wanted was a even all around cut with a #1 guard and a straight lining. Apparently that was too much to ask for this guy. Theres no way he didnt know what he did! Smiled in my face and charged me $18 and no apology. Wont be returning.

The gal that cut my hair did a terrible job... how hard is it to do a #1 on sides with a high fade to finger length on top??? Now I’m at sportsclips going to get it all fixed because I didn’t want it screwed up more than it already is... ugh... I payed way too much for effed up hair! Not happy at all!!!

This is the first review I have ever left, but I feel its important to warn other customers of what just happened. I called around noon to see how busy they were and ask to schedule an appointment. I was told there would be 5 barbers at 1pm available and no appointment would be necessary. I came in at 2:30 and sat for a half an hour as 4 other customers with appointments took priority over me. I left and called the shop as I drove away to advise them of the situation that had just happened and the gentlemen on the line got impatient with me. Working in a industry where processes and customer satisfaction are important I would consider it invaluable to have a customer call and advise of a negative experience so I can make sure it never happens again, even if I was unable to resolve with the current customer. I dont believe that view is shared by this company. I will not be recommending them to anyone and will be paying extra to go somewhere where customers and processes are valued.

Ron was a fantastic traditional barber. If you need a haircut in the Draper area, I highly recommend this establishment.

Utah is known for bad hair. David A. Bednar haircut on men and bad color blending on women. Just awful. Wont leave 9 to 9 with anything but a stellar cut. See Rick or Ron and they will set you up. Truly a shining star in a state with bad hair.
