Really great vintage camera shop. They have everything from the latest digital cameras and memory cards to 35mm film rolls. They are my go to shop for film development. Film processing times are also very quick.
Amazing photo shop! They really know photography and camera equipment! Visit just to see their antique cameras. (It wraps around the ceiling of the shop!)
Excellent customer service. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We called PJS to get some pics done quickly for a funeral service. Everything was taken care of for us promptly.thank you!!
Great service. Do a fine job in printing photos. Recently took in an old family photo that was restored, a cd created and copies made. Excellent job.
This is a local place that has been around for years. It is filled with and frequented by people who are passionate for photography, in all its forms . You can get help with basic photo needs, prints development etc. And you can also get everything from film, paper, cameras new and used, digital and lenses, protective bags carrying cases, anything you could need. Also the nicest staff. Kind people who want and are willing to help you with any questions. No judgement no rudeness. They are just happy to help you enjoy the art as much as possible and help in the best way the can. Local jewel. Dont hesitate to stop in!!
I have been going here for years and have always had a great experience. I mostly just get prints of pictures I take on my phone; I would highly recommend them over a drug store for prints.
One of the last of its kind! Friendly service and a nice variety of products. :-)
Great business and professionals. They were able to develop a 22 yr old roll of film. Would go there again. Highly recommend
Go for the pro lab services and good staff!Open 7 days a week - except for holidays.Good prices on E6 and C41 processing. If you need b&w work - be patient - they may not do a “run” for several days. This is all hand work and will cost more than the color lab services.Check out their mini-camera collection!
Long-established and excellent. In general, I miss camera shops. This is one of my favorites.
The picture the was developed from a negative was poor because the negative has scratches. Just wished she would have called and told me about it before developing the pictures. It looked terrible. Couldnt use the pictures
The store rep was good but not helping me with my choices, even the store didnt have a huge collection of actual camera accessories. The rep didnt even know there would a chargable mountable camera flash light, he didnt even believe me, he was saying I dont believe there is such thing I forgot his name. This was second visit and I would say not a very good experience. I would try not to visit this place again, as this is the he only store near to my home.
The store has everything, gave me a better price when I purchased a larger wuantity of film. sraff is very nice and helpful.
Im very grateful places like PJs still exist. They carry all types of film 120, 220, 35mm (4x5 sheets maybe?). You name it they have it. Their services on film developing is crazy fast as well. I got a couple of rolls of 35 color film developed here within 15 minutes and they charged me $3.00. Amazing. Great place and wonderful people.
As a supply store, it’s good but over priced and somewhat sparsely stocked. The developing for color is horrible though. All of my C-41 film comes back hazy and streaky, ruining three rolls of my vacation. I’ve had this experience multiple times.
A really great assortment of equipment, supplies, and efficient services. Prices are very competitive. Margaret is especially helpful.Roger
One of the few really good camera and photo supply stores left. Excellent, knowledgable service. Ive been using them for more than thirty years.
While some of the sales people do know about photography, their selection is under par and the prices are slightly higher that others. Workers arent sure of typical features from camera to camera and arent knowledgeable about value per camera. There is also a 15 day return policy which they will fail to mention every time. But if you need to return (for any reason) they will happily point it out to you and refuse the return with a smile.Any company that is confident in their product will have a great guarantee and a great return policy.
Really quick 35mm development if you can poo in at the right time! 👍👍
Great camera store. I visit whenever Im in Glen Ellyn.
First, let me tell you this is not the best place to shop for cameras.(not a big selection of cameras or lenses).Several of their sales people are knowledgeable of photography, and that has been a great help each time I step up into new photography methods.I go there for development of films that are too difficult for me to do at home, and getting new equipment as my needs grow.Ive been to another local store which has more product in store, but found the people there unfriendly and lacking knowledge of some basics. not a problem Ive experienced here. PJs is my personal choice for anything local.
Great knowledgeable staff that are always helpful. Competitivly priced and good selection of cameras and accessories. I get most of my gear here
Great service and staff. Had a few prints enlarged and picked up a few supplies. One of the last independent full service camera/photo shops in the area, you should give them a try.
The processed my film from the solar eclipse cheaper and faster than the camera store in Chicago. I just recommended them to a potential client and my pro lab uses them to process film for their clients.
Looked up a place to develop disposable camera film and this came right up. They’re a lot faster and cheaper than your CVS/Walmart photo center. If you’re still into analog photography, this a great place for you! :)
Super friendly staff, and it’s very nice to have a camera store that still process film near by!
This place is awesome! One of my favorite places to go for film needs! The staff is amazing and extremely knowledgeable!
Knowledgeable staff and happy to help with any camera related questions/issues you may have. Also has great selection of gear and supplies for film and digital cameras.
Staff is very helpful. We were able to find film for an old camera and the staff helped us load it and gave us pointers on how to take pictures.
Went to get a photo restored all it looks like they did was scan the photo. I could have done it at home and wouldnt have to pay over 100$.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fast photo printing and high quality work.
I am so thankful to have a neighborhood store where I can get all of our images printed. The quality of their prints far exceeds Walgreens, Target, etc. and their website has fantastic photo editors available. And I can even print with borders! We used to live in La Grange Park and I was so disappointed when Wolf Camera closed. When we moved to Wheaton, a friend recommended PJs Camera and I was thrilled! And, BTW, thanks for playing jazz (quietly) rather than hitting me over the head with the dizzyingly-loud music I hear everywhere else ; )
My service was bad.!!! They made me pay for my film development before while others just dropped off theirs. I asked them why and they had no good reason. Their prices are high, I found the same photo paper for half price at Calumet photographic Oak Brook. I will never go their again. The sale person was smart mouth and gave me bad service. He acted like he did not have time for me. Im a student at the College of Dupage in there photo program and will not recommend them to other students.
Fixed my camera and great employees!!
My experience at this store was terrible. I tried to develop film that I bought at the store and they wouldnt do it. The two sales people I talked with were unkind and arrogant. Frankly, I cant believe the other high reviews given and would will surprised if this place continues to stay open.
Great small camera store. I was looking for a specific item which unfortunately they did not carry.
These brothers have been fabulous knowledgeable and friendly for over 30 years. For photo and camera purchases, instruction, repair and supplies, dont go anywhere else!
One of a few left. Great service.
Great camera shop made some 8 x10 enlargements they were very helpful.
Great camera shop. They work on camera and still develop film.
Expertise you cant get from the internet.
Prompt service. We needed supplies & PJs had it in stock.
Sales lady was very helpful answered all questions and gave great advice
Fast film developing for the cheapest anywhere in the suburbs
Employees were very helpful, respectful, and reasonable.
Great that you can still find a real camera store.
I brought in some film to have printed. They destroyed all of it and told me it was my fault.
Great business!!
Great customer service and very knowledgeable
The camera alone is worth the visit.
Good place for camera equipment
Excellent people.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Very helpful and affordable
Professional place
