The guy how dyed my hair, he gave me the wrong color and when I asked him to fixe it, he start acting in a weird way, by the end he dyed it with another color not related to the one I want, then after the washing of the hair he pulled my hair in a very tough way, and never bothered him self to check if I liked the result or not, another think he did style my kid hair, and she was saying its hurt and it is too hot, he did not care or responded to her, he was so rude to her. We left with no problem made but we will never go there and I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Genevieve is AMAZING! She got my blonde absolutely perfect without any toner! She also added some super cute red highlights! She also has the best personality and definitely knows what she is doing! I went to get a few weeks ago and she gave me a great haircut! I highly recommend!

Scott was Amazing!!!!!!! I came in with a long two toned bushy mess, and Scott brought out the fabulous artistic side of both me and my hair. I came in with an idea and he made it come to life. The pink and black he wove in my hair was beautiful and he was just an amazing hairdresser. I recommend this place and Scott to everyone!!!

The manager that dyed my hair was a nice guy with an interesting life story. However, him and his assistant completely ruined my hair and hair extensions. I would not recommend going here at all. I came from out of town and had to get my hair dyed for my wedding. I asked for a blonde touch up, root smudge and maroon colored money pieces. Upon drying my extensions and seeing my hair I was absolutely outraged and upset at how bad of a job they performed. My $200 extensions are ruined and my hair that they charged me $150 is going to cost another $200 to get corrected. Do not waste your money or time here.

Great baircut, great service. Last week I called and they told me the price of a haircut for my daughter would be $17. Today I went and she said it was $17 and then the stylist came over and said that no it was changed to $25. That is a 50% increase. Anyways I didnt say anything, just paid it but left with a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.

I took my daughter here for a trim. She had Nicole. She was so great. My daughter even said she gives the best scalp massage.. and her hair looks so much better.

If I could rate this a 0 I would. To start off the manager was the one who did my hair, Scott. I had showed him a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like which was a balayage/highlights. When I had called to see about pricing I was quoted 85-120 but after the service i was charged 205. Not only was the price changed but my hair looked awful. The highlights were uneven and had looked like they were already several months grown out. The cut was uneven also. I had asked for long layers and I only got layers on the left side of my head and they were choppy and not blended. The blonde highlights I had done were also toned uneven. When Scot was confronted with the problem he acted very unprofessional and tried putting the blame on other things. He had told me toning hair was something I had to come in to do several times (which I have had my hair blonde and never once had it toned after the first time). He had also told me that having an uneven cut was normal and I was supposed to come back in to get it fixed. When we had asked for a refund he told us it was something corporate could only do. When we asked for corporates information he would not give us it because “corporate doesn’t want customers calling them” so we let him deal with the refund and he had told us we would get 100% of the money back plus his tip. Well when the check came in the mail it was only $85. So after spending some time on the internet we eventually found corporate and told them what had happened. They agreed with how unprofessional the service was and are sending us the rest of the refund. I just think this kind of service is ridiculous and this business is unloyal and unprofessional.

I’ve been getting my hair done here for about a year and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and salon. It is clean, staff is professional, and on time. Nicole does my hair (Usually highlights/lowlights and cut) and I’ve always loved the result; when I was new she would run off the price of each service before she did anything, so it was way more transparent than other salons. And it’s a value compared to others, in particular a nearby salon where my total was 35% higher than the same services done here.

Yesterday Hanah helped correct my chaotically bleached hair! She did an amazing job, she fixed my uneven cut and brought my hair back to its natural color within a couple hours! I honestly thought it would be a forever process and it was fixed in a just one afternoon! I will for sure be coming back in the future!

Rose did an all over color, and a cut for me and I have long thick hair bit she did it super fast and wasnt even rushing, she just knew what she was doing and was very friendly and happy I let her do my hair. I had the best experience at Rockstar Salon today! I came in with super long, thick hair looking to get a super short bob with bangs and a black dye. I was pretty nervous, but my stylist (Kris, I believe) was so super nice and made me feel comfortable. Not only is this salon really nice, but also pretty affordable. I have been getting my haircut from Hanah for a couple of years now. She is AWESOME, and always takes the extra time to make things perfect! She used to work at Salon 21 but now works at this salon which is much better all around. Great stylists, great prices and promotions and a clean and professional atmosphere.

As a customer I am not concerned about what the name of this salon is or where it supposedly came from. The most important thing is the quality and the service.Love this place.!!!We have been going here for years!! Michele is awesome!! I have very curly hair and have a hard time finding a good stylist. I finally found Danielle! She knows how to give the perfect cut so I can wear my hair natural OR styled, without it looking like I have a triangle head. (You curly girls know what I mean!) She really listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I absolutely loved the experience and LOVED Danielle!

This is the best salon by far. I have been here over 8 times and Michelle always gets it right. She spends a lot of time on my hair making sure the it is perfect and that I am happy before I leave. I also like the fun, upbeat atmosphere. These gals know all the latest styles and cuts as well as the older stuff for a more conservative person. Their prices are very reasonable -- $15 for a cut or $23 for cut, shampoo and style. I have absolutely NO complaints for this place. I am a very happy customer and definitely sold on their service!!!

Ive been going for several years. Riley is awesome!! When Ive had to fall in the hands of another because she is out of town or something, Im just as happy. Ive taken two of my boys there for a cut as well, and not one complaint. The place is clean, friendly and up-beat. If you only went once and received bad service--- try again, it has to be one in a million and nothing is perfect, although these guys are pretty close!

I went and got a perm over 6 months ago and they said they had enough rods. Then when I’m in the middle of my perm they say they ran out or they are broken. So they decide to put rods that were one size up and that it wouldn’t be noticeable. It was noticeable, not to bad though. She promised she would get more rods for next time. So I end up calling in and they say no they haven’t got more. That they only got those rods and that’s all they got and they aren’t getting anymore. So idk why they said they would get more but didn’t then rudely told me that’s all they are doing. Just bad customer service in my opinion. And they aren’t the best on the block. My advice is go down the street to Rooted Aveda just a couple blocks away, they have exceptional customer service recommend to anyone who just wants a cool place to always go with great experience!💯

I stumble on Hanah’s Chair at Rockstar salon because I needed a haircut. The stylist couldn’t speak English and it is hard to communicate with her. I asked about getting my color done to cover the gray around the sides of my temples. She offered the color service and I accepted. The finished result was a disaster. I wouldn’t be back again

I didnt think anyone could screw up a simple trim but well the she did. I asked her to cut off a half inch and now one side of my hair is a half inch shorter then the other! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have a buzz cut and the consistency here is hit and miss. Ive come home to find an uneven buzz constantly. Not worth the drive down to Draper, if I cant get a proper buzz each time then Ill just go to Great Clips down the road.

The owner of this salon stole the name RockStar Hair from another salon in Utah County that has been in business for 10 years and has an amazing reputation. Somehow he has justified taking Rockstar Hairs business by saying that his salon is in salt lake(less than 20 miles away). I would never go to this salon, especially now that I know that the owner is so dishonest and unethical.

I had a 3:00 appoint to have my hair washed and styled for a huge surprise party for my husband. When I arrived at 2:50, I was told I had missed my appointment. They had written it down for 2:00, but I had a different appointment at 1:30, and would not have made the appointment for that time. The lady at the front desk said she could take me in 20 minutes. I said that could work and went out to my car to make a few phone calls. I came back in the salon 10 minutes later and the lady who told me she could help me informed me she had taken an appointment for a haircut and could no longer do my hair. I am so disappointed. Dont count on them if you have anything important that you want your hair to be done for.

The worst place ever. Burned my head with bleach. Kept the bleach on for over an hour without letting me sit under the heater. Did not give me the color I wanted. Was blamed for chemical burn.

My hair cuts there have been great and my balayage was GORGEOUS but the pricing was WAAY more than I was expecting! I got a balayage and cut and apparently they charge by the bowl....?? I got my roots done, lightened and toner, so thats 3 bowls. Im kind of new to dying my hair (only 3xs) and I thought it would be set prices for X. I should have asked for pricing to make sure but had no idea that part of the cost would be per bowl.. Quality is really great but pricing should be a little more up front about added costs..

This place has very little concern for their customers. I went in sat down and waited without ever being acknowledged. Fifteen minutes passes and someone new walks in, waits a few minutes and is asked to come back. I was still not acknowleged. Hoping to get a trim I waited and there was more gosspimg and talking amongst employees I finally had to just leave. Dont even give them a try.

I went in for just a simple partial weave, that went fine, I had her trim it, she spent 60 seconds trimming my hair and then she asked if I wanted my hair dried, its the middle of winter- why wouldnt I- and isnt that part of the service, to dry and style it afterwards. She partially dried it thought she was done and I had to ask her to dry it more as it was still wet. I walked out of there with still slightly wet hair. Also, as I was paying they charged me $10 for some cream of some sort she said she put on my hair while shampooing it that I wasnt aware was extra, she just did it. I also got charged $15 for my less than a minute trim. It gets better... I also had an appt for my daughter for her first partial weave, I should have cancelled, but didnt want to cancel 20 minutes before her appt cause thats rude, I thought how bad can it be. I explained to the stylist she wanted highlights that were noticeable, but not super blonde or extreme, the stylist didnt even offer samples to pick the color. When it was over, it was barely noticeable. They also charged me once again for a cream during shampooing I didnt ask for. I called the next morning to see if I could bring her back in to lighten it and the stylist had very poor customer service skills, she argued with me back and forth and then finally told me she would fix it. Im pretty sure we would have been charged full price, I never did take her back in and will not return to Rockstar in Draper again. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, and if you are crazy enough to go, watch out, they charge extra for everything without asking if you want it or telling you at the time its extra.

Days ago I scheduled an 11am appointment for today with Bailee. Well apparently Bailee had quit and they hired a Hailee but the person who scheduled my appointment didnt bother to clarify this fact. When I finally left at 11:20 am Hailee still hadnt bothered to show up. Around 11:10 I spoke to Danielle who was also frustrated with the lack of stylist. I told her that Bailee used to call Peerless and get me a deal on a product there and she said she would make an exception and call them for me because of my inconvenience. Imagine my surprise when I got to Peerless and they wanted to charge me 3x what I was expecting. They told me that Danielle had basically told them to not give me the deal and charge me regular price. When I went back to the salon she said that I hadnt made myself clear, but I know I had otherwise what would the point of her calling them have been. I understand if you arent willing to hook me up - tell me that. Dont waste more of my time and make me look like an idiot when I get over there. Im so unimpressed with Rockstar now and thats sad because I loved the service I received in the past from Bailee.
