I took a bridesmaid dress here for alternations last week, granted the dress was about 6 inches too big on the sides and the alteration would have been challenging for any tailor, my dress came back worse than I brought it in. This shop doesn’t know what they are doing in regards to tailoring services. The dress had a metal bone that was not moved during the alterations so the dress bulged out on the sides and was too big on the top when i picked it up. I left the shop feeling discouraged but didn’t want to cause a scene in the store, i immediately drove to a reputable tailor in royal oak (30 minutes drive for me) and the tailor was appalled that i paid for this service, he said it was one of the worst alterations he has seen. In talking to the owner/manager of Clifford street cleaners to express my frustration and attempt to get a reimbursement for my charges i was told i was a liar and that i was happy originally.. i provided pictures of the work taken 20 minutes after i picked up the dress with a time stamp and the manager was still unsatisfied, he would not refund me any money even though i had to pay twice now for alterations. I would not trust your garments here for alterations. I wish this place had more reviews when i went in the first time so i would have known to go elsewhere.

Need a hat cleaned. They said would clean it. Came to pick it up on the day they said. The hat was not cleaned. Clifford had my phone number and didnt call me too let me know. I will never go back

Fast service and they did an excellent job of cleaning my winter coat at a reasonable price.
