The selection is very nice. Somewhat exclusive. The people that work at the store are Class Act. Professional, courteous and very accommodating. Definitely a nice place to go get clean for special events or if you just wanna stay dapper and keep your closet diverse. Definitely on point at this place 👍🏼👍🏼

Joe Porter’s to me was a hidden gem in Detroit. I realize only now that they’ve been here over 50 years. Walk in their store and you’ll see why they are the only menswear store downtown

Wonderful experience shopping for grandson an Easter suit... Everything was coordinated in this beautiful navy blue including shoes...I really loved the navy blue belt and shoes..The quality was way up there..They also had a seamstress/tailor on duty who took up pants to length while I waited..I also spotted some nice men attire.. Especially this animal print button down shirt on display.. I will be coming in to purchase it..The staff was friendly/ and no their stuff...

I dig this stores stylishly curated mens shopping section. Its so hard to find a collection of clothes that makes it an exciting shopping experience for men. The space is modestly large and the prices can be a tad high depending on the brand name. I always look forward to seeing whats new. Whoever is selecting these items has excellent taste!

Very nice clothes very colorful shoes and top coats for the winter. You also have a great selection of mens suits, mens sweaters, and designer shirts all kinds of colors. Ill be back especially around my birthday.

I was a little upset at first I thought they were closed in the middle of the day the door was locked phone wasnt working but it was all a misunderstanding. I had no issues getting my son together for his junior prom. Mike was a huge help and the price was great. Ill definitely be shopping there again.

Customer Service is great!!!! The staff was very helpful in helping me find everything I needed. Plus they have on site tailoring/ altering that can be done within 20mins depending on what is needed. I would have given Joe Porters 5 stars but they were out of stock in Mens Dress Shoes in bigger sizes like 13,14, & they didnt carry Wide sized shoes plus u couldnt order them. So i had to go with another color. So besides that everything else was great!!!!

Well I can her looking to get my sons a quality made suit. Unfortunately given the time of year they did not have the since I needed. But the friendly knowledgeable service means well be back to try again soon.

These guys hooked me up when I was in a huge jam... I flew all the way to Detriot for a wedding without my garment bag, so no suit, no shirt, no tie. I walked in on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me a pair of black slacks - altered to the right length - in about 15 minutes. Then I got a shirt from their large selection and a matching tie. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They sure saved my ass!

I have bought multiple suits from them and the service and prices were excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a stylish clothes.

Needed a suit for my godson who is hard to fit. I walked in here they took a look at him found a suit within five minutes that fit him with a few necessary alterations. Also they are not overpriced.

Always great choices for my grandson. From little kid, to big kid, to now pre-teen we have been happy with the selections.

I usually go here every year to get my sons suits shoes and hats. However went in last Friday and got them fitted wasnt too sure about the color however the lady who worked here told me she would be able to bring the color out with the shoes and the hat with the feathers. However got to the front to be ranged up. And they told me I would have to go down the street for the feathers which would have been fine but I was picking up the suits that Monday. Now remind you I come here every year to by suits and shoes and hats. Im not a parent that only buys suits for my boys for easter. I just choose to buy a bunch of suits for my boys and hats through out the year. The store just gets everything in around easter like the new Invectory. However we canceled the whole order cause they couldnt get the feathers in. But mind you they told me to go down the street and get some. When the had were going to have the suits until that Monday. So you canceled a whole order for $273.00 for some quarter feather really. I go here some time and just buy $700 and above hats for my 2 boys that are only 2 and 3 years old. Really now I wont be back you just lost a good customer.

I had to return a pair of two right shoes. Opening the box the morning of the event was upsetting, but management was extremely apologetic, and made the return easy. I will shop there again!
