We stayed at the Moondrifter Condo and we had a great little trip! The room was nice, the view was spectacular and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the nice showers and the fully equipped kitchen. The only thing we ran into was the elevators were shaky and got stuck and bounced up and down on us so it kind of freaked us out. We enjoyed ourselves so much!

We had the BEST time in our vacation rental from realjoy! The location was absolutely perfect. The check in was easy and contact free. The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready to cook in. The living room was comfy and clean. The balcony was my favorite spot! The beach was what we came for and it did not disappoint. We had at least 1/2 mile of beautiful sugar sand to ourselves!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!

We had a great time on our vacation ! The condo was exactly as advertised and very clean as well. The kitchen was was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and most important the view was amazing ! The beach access is also very easy. The only drawback is the parking but honestly it gave us some needed exercise on a relaxing trip !

We had the opportunity to stay at unit 601, Hidden Dunes at Panama City Beach. Having stayed at numerous condos in PCB, we can confidently say this unit was our all time favorite! Impeccably clean and very roomy. We especially enjoyed the sleep number bed in the master bedroom! The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and Wow… what a fabulous sized balcony and view!Highly recommended!

Very beautiful and clean house. Outside yard work was very neglected and needed to be took care of a long time ago. Hard to enjoy pool area when weeds are hanging over shoulder. Other than that very pleased with house and location.

Great condo community with condos for rent! The pool tennis courts and shuffle board look like theyve been redone recently. Condos are bigger than most in the area.

We have just returned and rented a condo with RealJoy for part of our vacation. We did not require customer service but they were readily available if needed. I texted on the day of check out as to linens and they responded immediately upon the office opening on Saturday. I was very pleased with the rental process with RealJoy and will rent with them in the future.The condo, Splash 303E was beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Plenty dinnerware, utensils, cookware and kitchen appliances available. Our only complaint would be about the bed, we are spoiled to our memory foam with plush mattress topper.

We had a good vacation and we really enjoyed our time in Destin. The condo we rented was nice and very clean. The beds slept really good. We had a great pool area and Hot tub they were very clean. The only thing I can speak against is the package that I looked at showed that 2 beach chairs and a umbrella on the beach thru out the day was included. The guy that owned them walked up to me and said what place you staying I told him and he wanted to know what company I told him RealJoy & he said yeah we have a lot of trouble out of them lying to their guests about the chair service. He stated that I could pay for them and that RealJoy would reimburse me. He told me and my daughter to not be back in them unless we had 40.00 dollars. But other than that we really enjoyed our time and we had a view of the gulf from the terrace.

We had the most amazing family vacation. The location was absolutely ideal. The value was amazing with private beach access, two on-site pools, a modern, up to date condo all within walking distance to bars and restaurants. We will be back soon!

The condo had a fantastic location. So much to do so close to where we were. The views were beautiful and one we enjoyed waking up to. The condo was a perfect size for my family of 5. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars: there was a constant smell coming from the master bathroom and I didnt like the 4pm check in and 10am check out times. Would prefer a 3pm check in and 11am check out. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Room could be a lot cleaner. Staff was ok at times. Had two guest with me and they were asking why didn’t I get it approved. It was a last minute thing and it was plenty of room for 3 people. Could have been a lot nicer on the delivery. I’ll book somewhere else next time

The home was comfy cozy and very close to the beach (make sure you have the gate code!) It was just my daughter and I traveling this time. We had plenty of space and she loved the bunk beds! I really appreciated the paper towels, dish soap and bathroom linens. With it being just the two of us we were able to make the toiletries and paper towels last all week, but a larger family would need to bring extra. A small set of Bath towels and wash cloths were also available. Washing machines and dryers were conveniently located in the breezeways of the condo, $2 to wash and $1.75 to dry.We had some difficulty with the door lock. It took us several tries each time to successfully lock the door which was a little frustrating at first. The living room remote was also missing the back so the batteries kept falling out. Other than that we had a lovely time.

The unit was very nice and clean. The dishwasher should have been repaired prior to renting the unit because nobody wants to wash dishes while on vacation!! Fresh flowers were a nice touch! Would definitely stay again with all appliances in working order!

Real joy was was a great! They were on there A game. We stayed at the Arial Dunes II. This was a great place to stay with my family. My only complaint was the bed you would think it would had been a little more comfortable. I would stay here again.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!First when we arrived the thermostat was set on 80 degrees. Second, we noticed mold all in the bathrooms. Realjoy did not fix nor would compensate us, we could not stay in the room with our young children who already have respiratory issues. They claimed they “fixed it” but really just painted over it. Said it was coming from the condo above this one, so who knows if the water is coming from a toilet above so therefor it could be contaminated. They called literally an hour after someone supposedly was going out to fix it and said it had been repaired…. Ummm no that whole bathroom Sheetrock needs to be torn down and be replaced. Third, lots of hazards when we first got there. The Ceiling fan was about to fall off, one of the beds was teeter tottering due to loose screws, no fire extinguisher, and had badly done repair spots all over the walls. Overall horrible experience even though we were probably not even in the room maybe 30 minutes. Never again will we book with Realjoy.

Oh my where do I start? This place was so homey and kid friendly. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay and all the space. The location was great and allowed our family to really spend quality time together. Management checked on us and all instructions were clear and precise for checking in and out as well as usage of golf cart bikes etc. I would recommend to any and everyone. The best experience we have ever had in vacationing. Thanks for a job well done!!!

My family and I rented a room through REAL JOY rentals in Panama City Beach at Edgewater resort, the Leeward building, room 308! The room was filthy, the dryer was duck taped not working, cloths would fall out., the air conditioning was not working well, all the doors going to the deck were all broken except for one, you could only go out through the kitchen, ten people trying to go out and In one door to the balcony was miserable, there was a gaping hole between the glass door and the wall( the wall was rotted out) in the den so hot air comes in the room.The commode handle in the middle room bathroom is broken. You have to lift the lid to flush. The baseboard in the hallway falls off! The front bedroom glass door is also broken, you cannot sit on the deck in that area due to the metal falling off the door, or you will rip Your arm off. The freezer does not freeze well, ruining your food.Real joy’ never attempted to do anything at all, they said” we are so sorry” they trained well to say that!Terrible company to work with, leadership Jonathan Finch did not attempt to repair anything!I hope this review will help you make a decision that will be better for your family! Do not use Real joy!I had hoped to enjoy my kids and grand kids!

What a beautiful unit, it comes with everything you need to make your stay excellent! Our beach view was perfect. The unit was super clean, and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom was good sized. We loved the decor. The ice maker needs to be looked at it makes a sound like a whale singing. Overall we loved our vacation stay here and will definitely come back again. Anytime I had a question RealJoy was extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed at Sea Dunes. Terrible condo, lots of problems. Customer service with RealJoy is not a joy let me say. Washer broken full of water since it broke down weeks ago. Dirty dishes in the cabinet, master bathroom outlets did not work, carpet filthy. All around bad experience with RealJoy. Pictures online are false advertisement. Pool is small third bedroom is a small storage room with a bed shoved in it. Cant even open the door halfway

We booked my bachelorette trip at one of their 30a properties 6 months ago and thought all of the details were squared away. How wrong we were… 14 days before our trip we received a call saying our booking has been cancelled because the owners are selling the house and need to have access to it that weekend. The “similar properties” they provided were NOT up to par with the house we had originally selected. We did receive a refund, however, it’s not exactly easy finding a house in the same location for a similar price 2 weeks prior to our planned vacation. I asked for a promo code or gift certificate towards another property because the only ones left were far more expensive, but that idea was shot down immediately. They were useless in helping us find a new property that was somewhat decent. Also, READ THE CONTRACT THOROUGHLY. If a property is un-occupiable due to something like a natural disaster (something you have zero control over) you forfeit your payment…no refund. I have a condo that I rent out and I couldn’t imagine being that un-accommodating; but that’s just me.

Never rent from RealJoy properties again!We stayed in Destin in a unit they manage. We had MULTIPLE issues, biggest being sewage stench coming from master bath drain. RJ is very hard to communicate with via portal or phone. Guest bath toilet clogged. By now, the couple we were with just left due to smell and lack of cleaning in the unit, just grossed out. After finally getting through to someone they sent a cleaner out, he had a bucket and cleaned one toilet and bath and master shower. that is it. never addressed the stench or other issues we reported & didnt know anything about them (blinds missing slats to all bedroom balcony doors & many more). We leave literally at 6 a.m. morning of checkout & our 12-hour drive home we smelled the sewage smell on our luggage in the car (it was that bad). I get a call from Emma at RJ saying they will compensat us for $100 for our inconvenience & sorry for the trouble, but 3 people went in unit and never smelled anything. They are a JOKE. This was the worst smell. No way people could go in the unit and not smell it. That with all the many many issues we had that they DID NOT CARE ABOUT will make me run anytime their name is attached to anything. OWNERS BEWARE...this makes your property look bad when you have people manage that cant even sanitize & clean your units then not FIX issues that are blatantly wrong and will only get worse (leaking faucet, doors locks not working, blinds torn up with slats thrown in closets, cracked tiles, and more). RJ doesnt even answer their emergency maintenance line. if you call their sales # someone will answer.

Our trip was awesome! The Condo was clean and very comfortable. The views were wonderful. The beach was beautiful and a short distance from our building which was very convenient. My family and I will come again. 7/14-7/18

Upon arrival, we realized the community wasnt the nicest but its fine. The trash outside was overfilled and there were bags, boxes, food, beside the trash can. We walk in, it looks clean but quickly realize the walls are trashed. There are holes in the wall, the bigger ones were patched up but not painted over. Almost every single wall was dirty, there was dried blood on one! The stairs has parts coming unglued on both stair cases. The kitchen was nice, nice dining table. The furniture in the living was so dingy and old. There was a mattress that looked like it had a curtain of lint coming off of it. So, we immediately contacted realjoy through airbnb. No response. I called them, told them I did NOT want to stay there and I wanted to find somewhere else to stay. They told me we could not receive a refund and they could send the cleaning crew out Thursday night 9/10/20. But the cleanliness was not my concern. It was everything else. I think they just tried to make me happy by saying that. They also said they would have someone pick up the trash Friday. That didnt happen. Trash wasnt picked up until I had to call them again because our AC went out Saturday 9/12. The ONLY reason we stayed there was because there was 7 of us and it was about 7:30 pm when we got there and we couldnt find another place to stay. This property should not be advertised as a vacation home. Manager was suppose to call me Friday morning, never did. We got ahold of them again Saturday about the AC and reminded them someone was suppose to call me. Still no call. Saturday night one of the girls got in the shower and the heavy nozzle fell on her foot! I was so upset, it was my bachelorette trip with my girls. One girl flew in from Denver Co. However, I do want to say that the cleaning crew that came out Thursday night were very nice and they got the blood off the wall for us.

Please do not rent a space from this company!!!!They are terrible! The space I rented for my family vacation was disgusting. It had food everywhere, BODILY FLUIDS on the kitchen counters, food on the floor and dirty tables. When I informed the company management of the low level cleanliness I had experienced in their space- that I communicated via email and photos- and informed them it that forced me to take my family and children elsewhere, I was notified that although they could see the place was disgusting, the paperwork I signed forfeit any refund for any reason. I’m not even sure it’s entirely legal. What I am sure of is that my money was taken, and I was provided a space that looked nothing like the photos. Save yourself the trouble, save your money and rent somewhere else

Hidden Dunes 1305 is the best condo we’ve had in 10 years of our girls beach trips. Clean, spacious enough for 6, best stocked kitchen and easiest walk to beach (no steps)!Staff was very responsive and RealJoy was a joy to work with!

This place was so awesome and extremely beautiful. They were very professional and everything was handled right on time. The room was very neat and clean and very spacious. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. I liked everything.

We rented a property with RealJoy at the Prominence development on 30a. We had ZERO cell service during our entire stay. When reported to management, we were basically told to deal with it and that there are no AT&T cell towers near the property. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. The listing reported 6 bikes. All of the bikes were broken. Our experience was that this company was very very difficult to deal with, unprofessional, and did not respond to complaints.

We love staying at Crystal Dunes and have stayed in this building a few times. Unit 304 was very nicely decorated and comfortable. We love being right on the beach and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views!!

It is easy to get nervous when working with a LARGE property management company. No need with Real Joy, I made one call and immediate got the answers I needed from Van. They advertise great rates on a so called premier property but with all the added fees the price triples. The property we rented was at Silver Shells St. Lucia building unit 704 BUT the Unit was dirty and poorly maintained. When I called to let RealJoy know they only said sorry about that. I asked twice to speak to a manager only to be told the manager was busy and he will call me back which never happenedDo not rent from this company!

Wonderful family vacation condo.

The stay was great. The place was exactly as in the pictures. My children really enjoyed. My only downsize is the check in at 4 pm and the check out at 10 am. Seem so late to check in and too early to check out; however, I have no major concerns. Upon arrival, the gentlemen introduced himself as security and assisted us and we had no problems. Keep up the great work.

Wifi was not working from Saturday to Wednesday. Finally repaired and brought us a gift card for the inconvenience. Beaches do not allow dogs except at pier park which is 4 miles away so dont expect to take your puppies to the beach with you unless you are willing to travel. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Says it sleeps 6 and could sleep 6 small people or family with small kids. We have 3 sons that are teens and early 20s. There were not enough beds for the 5 of us. If our boys were smaller it would have been perfect. It was nice having a washer and dryer and being so close to everything. The beach is a short walk through a gated neighborhood. Everyone we met was super friendly. Pools were well maintained in the neighborhood. Beach was full of tents and families. Get there early to secure a good spot. It was advertised that the putt putt course was right outside the condo. This is not true. It is a short walk and we never found anywhere to rent golf clubs or balls. This was a little disappointing. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay that is convenient to everything.

Great place and location! The only problem was the two bottom drawers in the king bedroom was not useable and whoever came in to clean did not mop the floors our feet were black! And we had to try and find a mop but there wasn’t one there! Other than that everything with real joy vacation rentals went great!

We had ample communication before arriving, but would like to have had door code earlier as part of my confidence factor. Felt like you have trust issues. Getting here and waiting till 1 hr before was not a good feeling.

As a Travel Agent, I wanted to venture off to a different area of Florida Ive never been so Im able to offer my clients a new place to visit. I found a home on RealJoy Vacations website to rent for May of 2021. This trip was not only a first for all of us going, but it was also a trip to celebrate my birthday. To say it was the trip from hell is an understatement!! To make a long story short, RealJoy Vacations listing on Graytest 30A Beach House, was far from being 100% accurate. Looking at the pictures and details of the listing when I booked this home, no where on the listing did it say neighborhood has construction going on, it should have said house has construction going on right next to it. It also said there are 48 homes in the community.., well the entrance and exit of the whole community was about 1/2 mile long, with a total of 12 homes built and 3 under construction.We arrived on a Saturday at 5:35pm and construction was still going on and it literally was 2 feet of the back of the house where the bedrooms are. I spoke with the neighbor across the way and he told me, they start way too early in the AM and stay way too late! I call RealJoy and spoke Kris told me, there is nothing we can do, we will have to call the HOA and report it to them. She made no effort to offer to move us! I then called back and spoke to another rep, who was more then sympathetic but had no authority to do anything to help us, so I had to wait till the next morning to talk with the manager. In the mean time, bed time was far from a pleasant experience. Here we are in a pandemic and companies are required to make sure things are clean, RealJoy even prides themselves of it on their website. When we went to turn in for the evening, I had noticed a stain on the white bedspread, so I did some further investigation and found MANY issues. Sheets on beds had never being changed, hair and blood on the sheets, dust so thick you cant breath, pillows and blankets kept in a filthy closet, etc. I was totally disgusted!! We stayed one night, packed up and left the next morning, but before hand, I called and spoke with Jonathan, the manager, and told him, what had happen and said I expect a refund.... He said, we dont give refunds, I said ok, can you just move us to another home then? and he said, we dont do that.... This home should have been inspected and made sure it was cleaned before we even arrived. According to many BBB complaints I read recently, having integrity and going above and beyond for their customers is NOT something this company does. Im now out an additional $2000 for another rental and now having to fight to get my money back :(. PLEASE DONT EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!

As advertised, well equipped (we did eat a few meals in condo), beautiful views of beach, easy check in, great communication with property managers, easy assess to beach and pool, secure (guarded) resort, spacious (1300 sf), excellent location near attractions and shopping! Clean!

RealJoy did not provide a joyful vacation. We rented a condo at PCB, it was in horrible shape and should not be on the market. Most of the sliding glass doors were rotting out, bent, and unusable. They had huge gaps due to the rotting prevent the rooms from cooling properly. It also has AC issues, probably a result the the huge gaps in the doors. One of the doors, the metal beams outside was detached, sharp and rusted. This could lose a risk of someone ran into it. The dryer was held together with duct tape. The freezer didnt freeze properly. The toilets where also falling apart. When RealJoy was contacted about these problems they didnt care. They even called saying a dryer was being delivered and it was never delivered. I understand that sometimes they have problems, but no effort to care to fix anything and generic responses shows how little this company cares.

Wonderful company. Vacation rental was very clean, cozy and in excellent condition. Pool was clean, community was small and not overloaded with people wanting to party. Great Vacation!!

Listen to all the other 1 star posts and do not rent with them. Hurricane Ida hit and we’re no longer able to go on our vacation and they refuse to give any refund. All they say is we should’ve booked travel insurance but exceptions should be granted for extreme circumstances like this. Worst customer experience I’ve had

My family and I were looking forward to the vacation home rental last March (when Covid really hit). Obviously everything was shut down and we contacted Real Joy and asked if we could reschedule or get our money back as most rental properties were doing this. We were thankful to hear that we could reschedule our vacation anytime in 2021. We quickly booked our spring break time in March of 2021. It wasnt until August of 2020 when we found out the exciting news that we were pregnant and due right around our spring break date of 2021 for our vacation. Again, we had to call Real Joy to see if we could pick another date. Thankfully they said we could! When we went to actually book another date, the representatives went back on their word and told us they no longer could change the date and that we were stuck with the spring break date (which would be so easy to sell, that is a hot time). After many conversations and emails with representatives (they never allowed us to talk to management), they said there was nothing we could do. We were stuck with that date. This vacation rental property was not cheap and my husband, kids and I were very disappointed to not be able to go here and enjoy some much needed family time. All of these circumstances were not expected, yet Real Joy didnt seem to care. Maybe they should think about changing their name, as my family and I were very upset. I dont usually leave reviews, in fact if I do, I only leave positive ones, but in this case I had to let people know about this company and how they handle things.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Panama City Beach, staying at 28R Shady Palms. The townhouse was clean, very nicely decorated and furnished, and within easy walking distance to a private beach! The beach had clean, white sand, and was a beautiful spot to view the sunset. We will be back!

It has been a long time since I have been this frustrated with a travel experience. I initially booked through Booking.com, but then directed to RealJoy. I have found them to be needlessly unyielding, uninformed and uncaring about my travel experience. Too upset now, more to come.

We had an amazing time at our condo in The Palms of Destin! Everything was just as pictured, very clean and we LOVED the amenities of our our resort, especially the fabulous pool! The only negatives were the floor trim by the kitchen was loose and made kind of a tripping hazard, and there was a large stain on the mattress of the sofa bed- truthfully the sofa and the patio furniture should be updated/replaced but overall we were super happy with everything else! We loved sitting on the balcony and had a beautiful view! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

They did not reach out to me, nor did they post my review, so here’s the honest truth. I’m not mincing words to spare time or appearances.*PROS: Great location!!!! Direct access to a private beach, awesome balcony views of the beach, harbor, and landscape. Good parking. Condo set up is nice! Comfortable, cozy, all the necessary amenities for a family stay.CONS: IN DIRE NEED OF A DEEP CLEANING!!!!! Floors need to be fully swept and mopped. Rugs need to be changed out and refreshed (if not, at least washed), dust bunnies in corners, stray hairs everywhere (kitchen, showers, beds), bedding needs to be thoroughly cleaned! Sheets were ok, both comforters need attention. There’s a note to make sure towels are clean upon departure, but they had a few stains that hadn’t been completely bleached out upon our arrival. Vertical blinds are missing a few slats in each room. Pillows on the couch have filling coming out of them. All in all, IT NEEDS A REAL CLEANING!I’d also advise making the codes for entry (onto the property, elevator, into condo unit) consistent. 3 different codes for 3 points of entry is a bit excessive.

BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM REAL JOY VACATIONS! They do not allow reviews to be left on their website or their Facebook page. Please read reviews on Google and BBB.We rented a condo at Edgewater Resort in February 2021. Upon arrival the unit was obviously not cleaned. Unmade beds, no towels, dried blood on a blanket, water damage in kitchen cabinets with what appeared to be black mold, etc. There was also construction debris left on the dining table. After numerous calls, text messages and emails, they finally agree that it was not cleaned. They never sent anyone out to clean the unit. There was also water damage in the kitchen cabinets and what appeared to be black mold. I sent them pictures of everything. Again, nothing was done. We also had other major issues during our stay, such as no heating/air conditioning, no hot water, contractors entering the unit without our knowledge, etc. They also do not answer the “emergency/after hours” number, so if you have an issue during your stay, good luck actually getting someone to answer.

I see one of the reviewers stated that TreeTop rental unit is misleading. I concur. My family and I stayed there from July 10-17 and the pictures were extremely misleading. First of all, the property is VERY unkempt and the house and pool are MUCH smaller than they appear on the pictures. On the night we arrived, we drove around for at least an hour trying to find the property because there was no number on the property. After driving around, we finally decided to see if this particular unit was the rental because there were no vehicles parked in front of it although from the looks of it, we were hoping that it was not. Unfortunately, for us, it was.To make matters even worse the entrance of the unit is located on the BACK of the property. The outside lights were blown and it was pitch black dark outside so we had to use the flashlights on our cell phones to get to the back. Once in the back, you had to climb a full flight of stairs to get to the door - the stairs and deck were full of leaves and other debris and underneath the stairs was what looked like an air conditioner covered in mold or something (it was extremely unsightly). Once inside, the place was much smaller than the pictures show, the bar stools were broken and the ottoman in front of the couch was filthy. There was no dishwasher and there was no washer and dryer. The condo rules stated that each guest was required to wash the dishes before checking out. Why a company would rely on guest to wash the dishes, especially during COVID, when there is NO DISHWASHER, is incomprehensible and completely unsanitary. Most of the dishes we pulled out were half clean and had to be rewashed. Upon arrival, I immediately requested that we be allowed to leave and refunded our money because we felt that we had basically been taken advantage of. I had my 75 year old mother who had mobility issues with me and we had no idea we would have to climb a full flight of stairs every single time we entered and exited the until; we didnt know that the unit didnt have a washer and dryer and the property overall did not meet our expectations. We paid almost $4500 for the 7 day rental and it was DEFINITELY not worth our money. The unit should definitely not rent for more than $2000-$2200. Of course, we were advised that there were no refunds and no reductions in cost because in the description of the amenities, it did not list that the property had a washer and dryer or a dishwasher.During our stay, they sent someone to replace the outside bulbs, someone brought two new bar stools and took the broken ones and it was pretty much a wrap after that.Overall, we feel that the owner/management company price gouged us and the until was definitely not worth what we paid. I would not recommend this rental nor this unit. I do not typically leave reviews but in this instance, I wanted to warn other unsuspecting renters because once youve paid, the owners/management companies hold all the cards. When you arrive and the unit is not up to par, the renter has NO recourse especially when dealing with this company.

I was extremely pleased with our accommodations. I had to obtain reservations in PCB due to our trip to Gulf Shores being canceled because of Hurricane Sally. We had 5 adults and my 5 grandchildren ( ages 3,4,4,10 and 13). Our 5 bedroom unit was directly on the beach which was great with so many little ones. We had a couple of minor issues with our unit, but a quick phone call to Real Joy and the problems were taken care of. This company stayed in touch with me the entire time to make sure things were alright. I have never had a Realty Company act like they really cared if I was satisfied or not. I would definitely book with them again and I will recommend this company to others. Thank you Real Joy for taking such good care of us!

I booked a rental with this company through Airbnb. I would highly encourage against staying at a property hosted by Real Joy. On check out day, the scheduled check out time was 10am. At 9am on the dot, 2 ladies entered the apartment, without knocking. When I asked why they were here early, they stated check out time was at 9am, but it was fine and theyd come back. While that was nice of them, I was concerned that Id be charged for a late check out since the listing and other reviews state the company is very strict with this and the fee is several hundred dollars. I attempted to call them numerous times and no one answered. I emailed them, because they state not to communicate through the Airbnb app, and someone finally called me back at 9:30am.They apologized for the confusion as check out time was in fact 10am and offered to let us stay longer, but at this point wed already left because we were afraid of being charged the hefty late check out fee. They did refund one third of the cleaning fee, after I asked for compensation for having to check out early. I also had to request the refund via the Airbnb app after 5 days of not receiving any information about the refund.However, in the rush to pack 2 adults and a baby, during a hurricane, while dealing with flight cancellations, we left one dresser full of clothing. Not just a couple items, but multiple drawers full of clothing. I realized this a few hours after leaving and contacted the company. It took nearly 2 weeks and multiple emails and phone calls to finally resolve this. I was at one point advised via email that the company checked the property and could not locate any items, so they were waiting to hear back from the cleaning company. This took NEARLY 2 WEEKS. After advising I would be filing a police report, I finally was notified that the items had been located and were dropped off at UPS to be shipped to me.Of course the company didnt even offer pay the shipping fee for all of the trouble. If this had been a standard I forgot some items situation, I wouldnt expect that, but leaving an entire dresser of clothing after being rushed out of the apartment, unable to make contact with anyone and in fear of being charged a huge late check out fee, I would think would prompt some customer service from this company to pay the $28 UPS bill as a courtesy. I havent received the items back yet, but the time limit to leave a review with Airbnb arrived, so hopefully all items are accounted for an in good condition. Well see.The cleanliness of the unit could have been better, there were splatters and dirt on the walls in various places, the shower had hair in it and the insides of the dresser drawers were dirty and had to be cleaned before they could be used. Some of the pictures on the walls were knocked crooked too. Also be aware that the company only provides one roll of one-ply toilet paper per bathroom, so depending on the length of your stay and number of occupants you may want to bring extra. Also, while its not required or listed, just know that there are no typical extras in the kitchen like you may expect in an Airbnb, not even salt and pepper. The beds were also old and uncomfortable. Its obvious that the property is not maintained for guests with the care that Ive experienced with Airbnb in the past, it was more like a 1 star motel feel. The wifi only worked in the main area and not the bedrooms. One of the TV remotes was sticky.I highly encourage you to find a different property NOT managed by Real Joy.

Using this service was very easy. They were great with their communications with us. It was easy to get in and out of the rental. the descriptions of the rental were spot on.Rental Pluses: House was spotless. Lots of bathroom towels. The kitchen was well furnished with anything you need to cook at home with.Cons: One of the bedroom closets was a bit musty/mildewy. The kitchen could use basic towels to wash and dry with. Those were our only drawbacks.We used the Gathering place for the fire pit and the hot tub. The pool was still cold for our March visit.The location was perfect for us. Due to Covid we are still a little tentative about going out to restaurants and large crowds. This location is close enough to all the beach and restaurants for us. It was peaceful and very relaxing for our vacation. We liked our hikes to the beach and using the bikes. We rented the Golf cart which was a major plus to going to the store and the beach. Easier to park than the car. Its a little pricey but it was worth it to us. Had one electrical glitch with the cart that the company had towed back to house. There were no other issues with it. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others. We had a great visit.

The condo was ok it could have been cleaner and some stuff inside the condo needed to be replaced or updated. I was not notified that the theater would be closed during our stay and that the gym wasn’t for guest. Parking was horrible had to park in parking garage walk across bridge and wait forever for elevators just to get to condo(expect to do a lot of walking from parking and to get to your condo) pools are small and very over crowed and only 1 hot tub!! And water pressure in shower was HORRIBLE!!

Don’t book with this company!!!!!!! We had a vacation booked with my elderly parents for Sunday 8/15 through Wednesday. We have monitored the weather & planned on still going until the morning of 8/15 when tropical storm Fred shifted & is now aimed to make landfall near Destin. There are tropical cyclone warnings as well as 6 other warnings for the area currently. I emailed, messaged through Airbnb & texted RealJoy with no response. I finally got in touch with someone & they are refusing to refund any of our money. Poor customer service, poor communication & as far as I’m concerned not an honest company.

Do NOT use RealJoy vacations...this week we had a death of a child in the family and needed to reschudule our up comming trip next month...Realjoy will not let us do this...we are even looking to stay for a longer period of time and a large condo. We are about to lose a 1000 because they could care less about people and glad to take your money and run

I stayed in the Calm Breeze Cottage in Seagrove, FL. Ive stayed in numerous rental properties in the area, and this has definitely been my favorite! The house was in great condition when my group arrived, and all of the beds were very comfortable. The location is amazing as well. My friends and I loved being so close to the beach, as well as all of our favorite spots in 30A. The hosts left a guest book featuring their personal recommendations of restaurants, activities, stores, etc... and they were all wonderful! The hospitality here is unmatched. I will definitely be recommending this home to all of my friends, and I would love to stay here again soon!

We just returned from spending January in Destin. This was the second time we booked a vacation through RealJoy, and, again, we were not disappointed. Check-in was a breeze, and the unit was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We had no problems with the unit, but we did call RealJoy to ask for help using the TVs. They were quick to respond and very attentive. We booked a dog-friendly unit because we were not sure if we were bringing our dog. I had talked to RealJoy about this a month before our trip, and they promised to refund the pet fee if we did not bring him. Our daughter wanted to care for the dog, so we called RealJoy and requested a refund of the pet fee when we arrived. They sent someone to talk with us and promptly refunded the fee as they had promised. We cant wait to book with RealJoy again next year.

Great location, beautiful view of the beach. The size of the condo was perfect for our party of 10. The only issue we had was parking. The parking garage is very hard to maneuver a vehicle in and only one parking spot on site.

Overall, our families had a great stay at Aweigh From Home. The house was huge and had plenty of room for everyone. It was within walking distance from the beach. Plenty of parking for everyone. The kids loved the kids bunk room and the swimming pool.

What a freaking RIP off. I’m sure the units are nice, but.. the company is a JOKE.We booked a unit in May of 2020, we were told a night before our trip.. that they have cancelled the reservation because of the new ruling of the Florida Governor (bummed, but no biggie. We booked a different place in Alabama for that trip.) They then gave us credit and told us “we have a year to use it the credit..”.WELL, it hasn’t even been a year.. and we were told our credit expired because we didn’t book by the end of 2020. Don’t fall into this company’s trap! They took over $1k from us.. and said that it’s our fault.Stay somewhere else! Other companies / customer service won’t take your money and then cancel right before your trip.. they won’t tell you that you have credit and you really don’t.. they won’t treat you like an idiot... THIS COMPANY WILL!How messed up.

We loved the ease of checking into the condo by codes sent by RealJoy Vacations. It was much easier to have gate, pool, elevator, & condo codes instead of keys & kept the complex secure. Our condo was gorgeous, spacious & had everything we needed. The water, Crab Island & HarborWalk near the condo were beautiful to look at and visit as well.

This place was horrible! Everything needs to be updated. Wires hanging out the wall in the children’s room, old nasty pots in the kitchen, and to top it off, my daughter woke up with bug bites. I complained about bugs in her room for 2 days!! No response. I called the morning she woke up with bites up and down her arms, hips and thighs. I was told” we have to go through the process” which was sending out experts. When they showed up, they confirmed that it was bed bugs. My first conversation with the rep, was that we would be changing rooms. When I called back after hours of nothing, she thank me for my patience and assured me they were working on properties for me to chose. Then after the experts confirmed this nasty place indeed had bed bugs, I get a call from Scott. Scott apologies and says we are going to refund you the entire amount, and I’m sending you properties to chose from. I asked before he hung up, once I chose a property do I need to call you back. He said no you just pick the one you want. I had no idea that this trifling company was only refunding the money (which takes up to 7 days to get back!) and forcing us to find our own place the week of Christmas, hundreds of miles from home! This is not professional. Scott even told me, “we are a small business, sorry but we can’t just find you another place” they should and could have placed us at another property but refused. Instead we were left without a place and no money for the next week. Don’t book with Real Joy!

My name is Allen Watts and I want post my familys experience with Real Joy Vacations in Destin Florida. I am 73 years old, not in good health with previous cancer surgery and my wife is 69 and not in good health, as well. Our daughter and son was going to carry us to the resort in Destin know as Real Joy Vacations...to arrive Sunday afternoon August 15 and stay 3 nights before departing for home. To make it easier on us we traveled to our daughters home in Petal, Ms. On Saturday August 14 so the journey would only be approximately 200 miles to Destin. We wanted to spend some quality time together. We began to watch the weather and discovered that the path of hurricane Fred was traveling toward our destination. We watched all the available information until after lunch Sunday August 15 and decided that it was not safe to travel to Destin. We saw various models of the path of Fred along with warnings that there was moderate risk to Life and property. Our daughter called Real Joy Vacations to seek a refund or a partial refund and was told they could not assist us in that regard. Come on people we all know that the company did us wrong! Our daughter followed up with another call to the company with the same results. Our daughter booked the trip through Air bnb. She called them and was able to get a small refund...that was fair but the provider, Real Joy Vacations did us wrong. You be the Judge! I think they had several options: full refund for their charges, refund for 2 nights or credit for the 3 nights at a later time. Thank you!

Shores of panama: loved this place! it was extra clean. great location on the beach, near attractions and restaurants. security 24 hours. awesome views of beach from private balcony. manager was fast to respond/help with any questions. cant wait to stay again!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. This is honestly the worst vacation I have ever had. We came in from time on the beach this afternoon to one of our bedrooms being flooded with water from the above unit. I immediately contacted the emergency maintenance number and it took them over 2.5 hours to even come up with ANY response. When we finally got a response we were told they would move us to another unit that was a hell hole. The “comparable” unit was on the 7th floor with an elevator that barely worked. There were black hairs everywhere and all over the linens. Jonathan is a joke and was “unable” to do anything else besides take off one night of our stay. We have lost much of our vacation time to this company who does not care at all about their customers. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Would not hesitate to book with Real Joy vacations again! Timely responses to any questions I had on multiple properties prior to booking. Easy to book the property on the website. The photos and description of the unit/property was well-represented and accurate. Unit was ready on-time and contactless check-in was quick and easy. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the unit--it was spotless! It certainly helped to ease any concerns when traveling during the covid pandemic. We had a wonderful vacation!

We are staying at the Gulf Highlands resort. The amenities are not what was advertised. The Real Joy customer service is non responsive and if you do get through to someone the just try to talk you off the phone ( like tell you what you want to hear with no action to follow-up ) . Very disappointed with the management of this property. I hope before we leave we get a response from them and a solution to our multiple issues that we have going on with our rental.

Booking and check in process was very easy. The unit was great, just as described and in a great location! The only problem we had was that the unit hadnt been cleaned when we got there at about 6 p.m., but I made a quick call to the number in my email and they sent someone to clean the unit for us very quickly. The lady that I talked to was very friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure that were happy with our unit. We are very pleased and will use again!

Better than expected! Unit 301 was an exceptional spacious corner unit with spectacular views. Great overall experience!!

We are so impressed by RealJoy vacations. They have consistently provided top-tier, professional responses to any issue we have had. Communication is swift, and their attention to detail is immaculate. As renters we feel very well-cared for. When we thought about buying a condo in the Destin area, we were only comfortable with the idea knowing there is a company like RealJoy to manage it for us. We wouldnt trust anyone else!

We had a small issue with our room but, real joy quickly made this right. We will be using real joy vacations again in the future.

This was our first time at the Seychelles Resorts with Real Joy Vacations. Setting was up was made so easy from the parking garage, to the entrance codes, to even a welcome package. The condo was clean and beautiful...the view is something you just have to experience yourself. Real Joy went far beyond our expectations to make sure our month at PCB was perfect. We will be back...thank you.

We travel from different places to meet at Destin, we stay at Beach RX and Poseidon Palace both houses are incredible and for our surprise we get amazing welcomed gifts .... everything was neat, kitchen with everything we need and the calls that we made requesting for something was with immediate response and delivered ... Thank you guys to put the effort in to make us happy, we had a fantastic stayed and agreed to come back soon.

My family and I are visiting Destin, FL for the month of April to participate in two tennis tournaments. I made a reservation to the Islander via RealJoy and specifically asked for them to confirm access to the tennis courts. Once RealJoy confirmed we had access we went ahead and reserved our condo for the month, only to find out on our arrival that the tennis courts were unusable. The condos front desk said they haven’t been in working condition for a while and they would not be fixed anytime soon. I contacted RealJoy for them to remedy the situation, which ideally would have been to have access to one of their surrounding properties and use the courts there. However, they said this would not be possible, they apologized for the inconvenience and offered me a $100.00 gift card. RealJoy stated that they are not responsible/liable for changes in amenities and this was the best they could do. A day later a representative from RealJoy provided me a code for a nearby condo so I could have access to the courts there.I think RealJoy stepped up and made arrangements to right a wrong, and that changed my experience with them. I would use RealJoy again and recommend them to my friends and family.

We had a great vacation at Abacos. The unit was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The views were amazing and there was great walk ability to shops and restaurants and, of course, the beach. Our few maintenance issues were cleared up very quickly.

We rented at Fishouse-snapper A1. Great location but terrible condo. When we got there paper towels looked as though someone soaked up a spilled coke with entire fool of paper towels (photo). The floors were so dirty and sandy our feet were black (photo). Floors haven’t been cleaned in months.Furniture was filthy. We wouldn’t sit on it (photo). Beach chairs are rusted and dirty. Outside deck is trashy. Not sure who’s shoes are on the chair. (Photo). Entire place is being neglected. So sad because it’s a beautiful location.

We stayed in unit 1 402. Excellent service and amazing room and view!! Super happy and will visit again soon!!

I have been calling this company for the past 3 days to get clarification on a booked vacation in crystal beach Destin for June, And none of the numbers appear to be working I have left a ton of voicemails, emails and text messages and no one has reached out to me. My last glance at the property that we were supposed to stay at a person commented that the property was being sold and then Real joy confirmed that is was sold. I need to get my money back!!!

Overall experience was very positive - the stay in the rental was much more enjoyable than a crowded hotel experience.

We took the family to PBC for the week the house we rented was very nice, We had an issue soon apon arrival i contacted realjoy and the issue was adressed within an hourWas very pleased with the response and professionalism from themThere was a couple more minor issue the i choose not to bother them with that we just deat withBut overall was very please with the rental and location

The pictures did not do the condo justice! The place was spacious, enough room for 6. Poolside view, balcony access from the living room and master bedroom. The pull out couch was an added bonus. Adequate pots and pans for when we cooked breakfast! The decor was beautiful. We had a great time. If you book through Real Joy you will not be disappointed.

First off, I would not recommend staying here in the winter months if you are planning on using the pool. The pool is heavily advertised in the listing pictures, and I assumed there was a pool heater due to other reviews I had read. The pool was freezing cold and therefore unusable. I reached out to RealJoy about using the pool heater and was informed that we could not. Were from MN and used to the cold so our children still attempted to swim and came out with blue lips and shivering. The 2 reasons I chose this rental are the pool and location to beach. We were very disappointed that we couldnt use the pool.Location is amazing, just a few minute walk to the beach. The house is great. Everything you need in the kitchen, even a few dishwasher pods. Comfortable furniture (except for master bed), nautical decor, fresh and clean linens/bath towels. You have to walk through the bathroom to reach the master bedroom, which is a little odd, but our children dont see the value in privacy so it wasnt a huge issue. Outdoor shower is great. Lots of beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs to use.Overall, we really enjoyed staying here. However, we wont be back unless there is an option to use the pool heater because we travel to Florida to escape the Minnesota winter for a bit.

I wish I could leave a ZERO star review!! Upon arrival at our rental house we discovered that it had not been cleaned properly and was definitely not sanitized to regulations regarding COVID-19. There was hair on the wall in the bathroom as well as on a set of folded towels, food on the balcony, trash by the pool, and trash still in the bathroom trashcans. The trash by the garage was overflowing and the carpet was stained all over. The air intake appeared to have not been cleaned in ages. To top it off there was an infestation of bees by the pool which made it impossible to even approach the pool area. Tried calling Real Joy and they offered to send out someone to handle the bees. We were then told that the bees could not be eradicated because they were coming from the house. Called Real Joy and told them we wanted to speak to a manager because we didnt want to stay in a place where we felt unsafe. We were told we could not speak to a manager. We then told them we would be leaving the property. TWO days after vacating we were told they would send someone out to clean. We told them there was no need for that because we had left the property and had to find a rental elsewhere. Have been trying for a refund the entire time and have been told emphatically NO REFUND will be given. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Terrible customer service!!!

Beautiful place! Very clean. Two things to note-- no way to rinse sand off feet, because the spigot for the hose cant be accessed except by walking back through the house to the side. You might want to bring a bucket.Second, the only beach access is through the ground floor bedroom. Think about whether your family has an early riser who could sleep there, because the door is loud/heavy. We have a family member who needed that room due to mobility issues with stairs, but she wasnt an early riser so... no early morning beach walks without waking her up.One bed on the second floor was so high up that the person had trouble getting in. Needs a step stool.

I would highly not recommend working with Real Joy for booking a vacation. Their staff is not trained properly to listen to customers and there is a bad energy with the staff and founders of the company. There are many other places that offer vacation rentals and I would not recommend Real Joy as they do not honor contracts that have been signed. This means once you sign a rental contract, you the rental are tied into the contract but Real Joy can cancel a signed contract for no reason at all and I would not work with this company as they do not have integrity of honoring their contracts. Do not be fooled by this company and get into business renting a place through them as they are crooked and do not have honor or integrity in how they conduct their business.

Sea Oats unit 203 was perfect! The unit was clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen, bedrooms and baths. Beautifully decorated with Gulf views from the deck and master. Comfortable and walking distance to most anything you would need. We’ve experienced beach accommodations all along the Gulf and this is a favorite! The beach is literally steps away from your front door!
