BEWARE! We booked our vacation, took off work, booked dolphin cruise etc., and then called and told that our unit was double booked. They cancelled on us and only said they had other options available, but they would be much higher. They did say they were sorry, but it did not make up for the fact that my place to stay for vacation was cancelled. They could accommodate us for 2 nights, but it is a 12 hour drive one way for us, so that did not make sense. DO NOT BOOK-you will not be guaranteed a place.

We booked a year ago to stay at the Lakeside Rendezvous property, paid my balance in full (which was not cheap), just to find out that all of a sudden our property has changed to Casa Del Sueno.When I discovered this, I decided to call and inquire about why the property all of a sudden had changed. I called on a Saturday evening and left a voicemail for a call back. 5 minutes later I received a call back which I was delighted for their prompt response- especially on a Saturday evening. However my delight quickly changed when I was interrupted by the person that called back saying “this is not an emergency, you need to call back on Monday” The person was completely rude and unprofessional- it was clear that he wanted no part in having a conversation with a customer on the weekend which I completely understand and I would have accepted that if he would have offered to take my name and contact info with an offer to call me back on Monday but that’s not the route he took. Instead he threatened to cancel my reservation. I explained that my family and I have been planning this trip for a year and a half and expressed that I never asked for a cancellation. When I asked who I was speaking with, the gentlemen arrogantly said “I’m the owner”. I was completely floored to find this out. I told the owner Bart that while this is not an “emergency” to him, it was now an emergency to me. He then said, “ok I’ll cancel your reservation” and hung up on me. Five minutes later I received a cancellation notice! * please be aware of this treatment (not from just anyone, but from the actual owner). We will never return to Gulf Tide Vacations- this owner completely ruined my family vacation plans. Extremely heart broken!

We had an amazing time and loved the pool! We were so happy we could travel again. Management was very responsive and helped us the whole way. Everything was clearly explained and we knew what to expect. More importantly, it was VERY clean and they went over and above to ensure COVID precautions were taken. We were able to enjoy time away and social distance unlike a busy hotel! THANK YOU!

Our vacation to Destin was amazing!! The house we rented was very clean and the pool was huge!!! Bart was very accomodating and responsive. We cant wait to come back down next year!

Great Stay! Lakeside Rendezvous was perfect for my family, we especially loved the sunset views from the hot tub and pool! Gulf Tide Vacations made it as simple as 1, 2, 3 with no hassle! We will be back and definitely will only use Gulf Tide Vacations for our trips to Destin!

Bart was always quick and professional responding to any questions, the House was in immaculate condition, and everything about the rental was as advertised! I would definitely recommend Gulf Tide Vacation rentals time anybody wanting to have a family vacation to the destin area.

In the time of covid-19, we all need to be more patient and flexible. Sometimes its a big prop mgmt company and sometimes its just a very hospitable property owner that can make a vacation feel like a vacation - this company just reminds you they are here to sqeeze out as much money as possible from their guests while doing the least possible and keeping their costs down. Its like dealing with lawyers. No vaca vibes here. Even the smallest request was met with hostility referring us back to the website, just for asking a question?! This is the panhandle people, plenty of options!

I just loved our stay with Gulf Tide Vacations Rentals. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom property. We were close to the beach and all my young grandkids loved the golf cart rides. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation with my family. The bedsheets were soft too!!¡ All of my correspondences with the owner, Bart, were great and friendly. I will be using you again next year. Thx Bart!

I would not recommend this management company for anything, Bart the owner was in charge of our rental property from the beginning and our rental property was not being maintained properly. After several conversations with Bart we decided to move our rental property with another company RealJoy, Bart said there was no issue and to go ahead and move it, so we proceeded to move it. After this Bart sends us a text stating that that our April rentals would cover marketing and transfer fees so we would not be receiving any money for those rentals. After reviewing our contract I do not see where the owner is reliable for marketing and transfer fees. I would not recommend Gulf Tide Vacation Rentals in any way. I hope all owners read this as I would hate for you to get caught up with the same issues that I am having with Gulf Tide Vacation Rentals.

Booking with Gulf Tides Vacation Rentals was fast, professional and easy. I have been staying in the Destin area every summer for years and dealt with several different rental groups... So glad to have found Gulf Tide! I will only book with them from now on.

Beware of this companys dealing with state laws. They are about the money and do not care about their client.
