This is our 4th year to stay at Crystal Villas. Our sweet little gem in the center of Destin. Just across the Highway from the grocery store and our kiddos favorite shopping areas. Love this place!

We have stayed at this location for the past 3 years every time we book our family vacation. The view is absolutely incredible, the units are clean, quite, safe and just perfect. We wouldnt stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean, everything we needed and great location. Would recommend highly.

We stayed in Unit B8 and the unit was in disrepair. Nothing maintenance could do to fix the items as they would have taken days to complete. Ceiling in almost every area had moldy/bad drywall, broken patio door and furniture, front door needed replaced. Pictures are probably 5 years old. Vacasa wont do anything to address the issue, minus the cleaning fee. Management doesnt understand it wasnt a cleaning issue, but issues that are related to poor upkeep. Its been a month, and no one returns my messages. We will be using a different company to book our annual trips from now on. We have let as many people know about the poor service and conditions, which is too bad because the location is great.

5 stars to the location. I gave 4 stars only due to condo needs some work and renovation like fixing the sliding door locks, bathroom has some mold which can be easily fixed with a cleaner and few other minor fixes which are easy and cheap. Overall I would rent it again!

I would recommend staying at one of the condos here. It has a private beach with chair and umbrella service. The location is great, with shopping and entertainment very close by.

Weve stayed here on three different occasions and loved each time. The condo is nice with everything you need, bed is comfortable, and can literally walk a few steps out onto the beach. The beach is white sand and clean, and the water is emerald and beautiful. The beach is private and super relaxing. Highly recommend this location.

The property itself was really nice including the free beach chair and umbrella service on the private portion of the beach. My only complaint would be having to walk through the gauntlet of A/C compressors to access the beach However our room unit B 15 was in need of a massive overhauling! From the black mold growing in the HVAC system (dryer sheets were place in the supply vent that feeds the main area in an effort to mask the smell), worn out smelly furniture to the bathrooms that looked like they were last updated in the 70s. Thankfully we only booked for 2 nights of which we only spent 1 in fear of breathing the black mold. We booked this through Vacasa and will never book through them again because this unit received 5 star reviews. I now know why because Vacasa DOES NOT post NEGATIVE reviews of the properties they are offering!

Very comfy beds and great view of the ocean. The pool was warmish most of the time. The pool was a little boring because it has no activities. But overall I recommend this Combo.

A very clean place great views anything you would need at home was furnished. A really enjoyable property.

We stayed in B-06. The check-in process was great. We got to check in early and we were very appreciative of that. The closeness to the beach was nice as well. The property was aged and showed signs of wear and tear. The furniture had holes/rips, rust was on hinges, and needs new pain on walls and trim. When we walked in it was overwhelmingly humid and warm. The thermostat said 73, but it was more humid/warm inside than outside. Even with the thermostat set to 68 it felt the same way. There was a musty smell to the condo that never aired out. The condo needs a thorough cleaning. There was a half inch of dust accumulated on the ceiling fan blades in the bedroom. The backside of the main door was very dirty and needs to be wiped clean. I laid down in the bottom bunk bed and there was sand in the sheets. The bedding was obviously not washed prior to our stay. The condo itself is not very soundproof. Kids were screaming in the hallway, at the grill station, and running around in our unit above. There needs to be some sort of shade or black-out curtain option in the main bedroom so that naps can be taken during the day if needed. The Wifi was also very slow. The pool says that it is heated, but it was very chilly to the point where it was unbearable to get in the water. We were never given the gate code to enter the beach. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be staying here again.

Great property with beautiful beaches. Friendly staff and lots of local shops near within walking distance for food rentals of bikes, baby strollers or even cribs for babies. Gift shops you name ignites close to this property. There are gas stations Bass Pro store even a Best Buy, Walgreens, Publix for grocery shopping. Its all there. I enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure!

Great view but the plumbing sucks. Had to take a shower in calf high water and then it took 10min to drain. If money was put into the unit it would be great.

Had a great stay here over spring break. Ceiling was a bit thin as we heard the people upstairs walking around all night, but other than that it was awesome.

We have spent 2 spring breaks here. Perfect for our needs. Not crowded, convenient to everything. Right on the beautiful beach. Clean, friendly, family friendly.

Run down, all the mattresses sunk in the middle, pool was too cold to get in, deck and grass had sharp construction pieces throughout. Potted plants were dead. Unit A1

It was very NASTY!!, our first day their was nothing but phone calls and us cleaning, also they lied to us, they said they’d call us about these problems and never did. We Never heard from the property manager after several calls and emails saying we would hear from them. We Saw a COCKROACH and a MOUSE while we we’re there, some of the people we talked with at southern rentals/crystal villas were very short with us, rude & unhelpful. We paid for a week and only got 5 1/2 days out of 7 due to the nastiness that We cleaned and they also tried cleaning twice and still didn’t get it clean, had to wait on a steam cleaner to come clean the couch and love seat on Monday of our week there as well cause it was so Nasty!! I Would not recommend staying At crystal villas/southern rentals property at all in general. Very poor management, service, and overall cleanliness. In my business I want to make money as well I understand that, but I still have respect and concern for my customers, they showed no respect, care or concern for us at any time during this trip. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND CRYSTAL VILLAS/SOUTHERN RENTAL PROPERTIES AT ALL!!

You can never go wrong with a Wyndham Vacation Resort.Very easy people to deal with.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! you have a great view of the beach you can swim in and if you want to go to the store or a restaurant you dont have to go far because its so close to you.😁😁 I highly recommend you stay here

Booked online condo A9. Got there at 7:00 PM and the maids were still in there cleaning! They said it would be another 30 minutes at least until theyre done. Great I just drove 5 hours for them to be still cleaning at 7:00PM. Carpet in upstairs bathroom sink seemed dated. Uncomfortable old beds in third bedroom. TV was difficult to work as it was a cheap Walmart brand system. Beach and kitchen were he only nice things about the place. Overall not worth the price we paid. I like Destin but I wont be returning to the Crystal Villas.

So I show up and it smells terrible and the toilet overflows when u piss in a2 and u call and the manager is so rude. Mam I paid 2600 dollars for 1 wk. Thats 3 months mortgage on my house. I wont be back

Terrible place, terrible manager, needs serious repairs, no elevators, stairs stairs stairs. Look at front of building before booking! Misleading pictures.

Super convenient beach access. Quiet. Indoor pool is great for bad weather days.

A perfect location with a wonderful kitchen. The free red box is a nice touch.
