We like this place, and joined for the summer, basically so our children could use the pool. I use the gym, never busy, always clean. They still have racquetball courts so thats the sort of place it was. Its getting more modern. Parking can be a problem if theres a tennis tournament or swim meet.

Was a member here for years because its so close. But the facility is a dump and the staff is completely apathetic. Dont even get me started on management. Anyone worth a dime was always gone in under a year. Finally quit and just use the Denver Rec Centers. Theyre actually nicer, a little smaller but nicer, and cost me about 12% of what this club cost.Cook and Eisenhower Park are nicer facilities for a fraction of the cost.

I was going to look into joining this place but there are more negative reviews than positive. I noticed the owner only replied to a handful of negative reviews, but those didnt have comments only a1 star. I think Ill stay where Im at. It seems that this is the epidemy of self interest and bias. PASS.

DONT DO IT! I ended up moving and they tried charging me for more than the one month I worked out there and then just sent me a bill for $900 threatening collections! I even wrote a letter to their headquarters like the contract said. I tried communicating with them but they sent me to voicemail and never called me back. They never returned emails either. Worst gym I have ever dealt with!

Stay away. Dirty, broken down, dilapidated amenities always under repair, broken windows, leaking roofs and super over-priced. They lock you under complicated contracts that are impossible to break then dont communicate. They play favorites with old membership and treat new members like trash!

Document anything the membership staff tells you over the phone in writing. They won’t follow through with what they say they will do. You will end up paying for it.

I love my gym. Im so at home here. Sure, its not the latest-greatest suburban monstrosity like 24 hour fitness, but it has everything I want in a gym and more. My son has blossomed as a tennis player under Wendys expert tutelage. I use the steam room, sauna, and hot tub almost daily. Its right on a fantastic bike trail, so I can bike there. I love CAC Monaco. I hope they never sell out.

Crooks - charged six months for “free trial”. Called and cancelled before end of my trial, sales guy said no prob. I went in and signed the form and everything. I noticed they charged my card anyway so I called in and same sales guy told me no prob he’s have it refunded. Shame on me but I never checked and just realized today they’ve been charging me every month since then. I bet that crooked sales guy never even submitted my cancellation paper work. Beware this place and the old chubby guy with the limp. They are crooks. Their facilities are old and out dated too. Can’t believe they have basically stolen $600 from me. Watch yourself with these people. They should be ashamed of themselves.

This company has a wonderful product but horrible people. They steal all the time. If you don’t sign contracts somehow magically your name is signed to it. No accountability is there. They make it hard to cancel and if they lose your form they blame you. They never admit it. Only send cancel forms back by email so you have a date. Even if you prove you’re right it’s so hard to get your money back. Also foul language is often heard.. one staff member say inappropriate things Loudly! Yet it never ends so clearly no ones held to a standard. Sad.

The staff are very friendly and the members are always nice to talk with. The equipment is clean and I never need to wait to use a machine. I love the hot tub, sauna and steam room. Occasionally one of the three break down, but its usually fixed the next day.

BLAST! The summer camp for kids is such a find. My eight year old loved it and cant wait to go back next year. They do so many different things with the kids: Tai Chi, Basketball, Tennis, Cooking. And the kiddos get a big chunk of time to swim in the out door pool every afternoon. Now THAT is how Id like to spend a summer.... Great Job BLAST! crew!

Stay away from this place, its a scam. The facilities are old and over priced. And when you want to cancel the fees rack up based on their own incompetence. The seem to be unable to accept and apply payments. Also the technology is atrocious, you cannot update or change billing info on line. I lost the credit card linked to my account and Wellbridge is incapable of updating their payment system. SKIP THIS PLACE

Ive been with CAC Monaco for over a year and a half, after being at The Sporting Club at Cherry Creek for 10 years. This place is by far superior. The people are nice and friendly, have never had an issue with billing and the best part is that when I go to work out at lunch time there is NEVER anyone there. Nearly have the place to myself. It is kid friendly, unlike the CCAC, where they make families go through a separate entrance to get to the pool. I dont play tennis, but it appears that the courts are well maintained and there seems to be empty courts much of the time. I would highly recommend this gym.

I promise you can find a better gym for cheaper.Facility is somewhat shabby and grubby. When pool is closed for a maintenance it is scheduled for one week, but takes approximately a month. Staff is unresponsive and not very well informed of policies. When trying to cancel my membership, I was told I could send in my notice, and it would be cancelled befor the next month’s bill, but then I was told this was to have a minimum of 6 weeks notice by one staff member and a different time length by another member.I was also told that the manager would call me to answer my questions, and I never heard from them.Moral of the story: you won’t get your money’s worth here, spend your time and money at a gym where you’re more than a dollar sign.

Overly expensive for what you get; a dirty pool and locker area, constantly broken locker room amenities (steam, whirlpool etc.), dated building. Equipment is diverse, but aging. Overcrowded spaces and disrespectful patrons do not make it more pleasant. Parking is impossible. For what you pay it should be a top notch club!...But its close to home, and location is everything!

If you are looking for a family friendly club, this is it! My kids take swim lessons, practice tennis, play basketball, play racquetball, and run inside when the weather is bad. The club seems to be under new management because there has been an infusion of activities for kids and adults in the past 6 months. I get a great workout, my kids play and learn, and most importantly, we get some great family time with the various BBQs the club hosts. The 4th of July one was awesome!I hope my five stars help increase the ratings for this club. Corporate billing issues should not influence ones overall experience with the club; the staff is friendly, hard-working, and the club is clean. (I also love that they have free coffee.)

This location is TERRIBLE. We entered into the 2 week free trial they give you and the sales representative told us the wrong date we could cancel and now are locked into a 3 month membership at this crap gym. The rep never responded to any email or call, even with his boss and the general manager on the email. His supervisor wont respond to you either and makes no attempt to make customers happy. Terrible customer service, so unimpressed with these people. Take your business elsewhere or at least get everything in writing.

Monaco CAC is one of the oldest clubs in Denver and it shows-- not becuase the place is run down, but more becuase the design of the facility is stuck in the 60s. If you are looking for a giant wharehouse style gym with an open concept this is not the place for you. All in all the equipment is very nice, the locker rooms are clean and spacious and the activites offered are much better than most big-box gyms-- tennis, outside pool, racquetball, running track, deli with beer on tap, daily classes.... They have child care and we have had no issues. The kids can play, eat, watch movies or read-- not sure what people expect for 2 hour child care on other reviews, but keeping my kids happy and safe is all we wanted. I give 3 stars to the Monaco CAC for 3 main reasons. (1) the parking is terrible, (2) the pool inside the gym is dark and does not feel welcoming what-so-ever, and (3) the layout of the gym is so awkward and feels claustrophobic. The whole place needs demolished and remodeled but that isnt going to happen, so take it for what it is-- a decent gym in the city without the crowds of the big-box gyms.
