This woman is a life saver! My cousins wedding was coming up but all of these obstacles kept leaving me no time to get my dress altered and last minute they were able to hem the dress for me and pressed it for me as well. The woman who helped me was so understanding and kind towards the situation. I will always use them going forward.

I went in on a Wednesday to get a patch sewed on to a newly bought jersey, and I was in no hurry, when the very kind, professional lady asked when I wanted it done. I said Friday, she said Saturday, and I said no problem, not in a hurry. Much to my surprise, I received a phone call the next day, at about 10 am,the next day, from her saying my jersey was ready! This was two days before it was supposed to ready(19 hours!). I recommend this business highly, and will make them my go to alteration place. I wish I could rate them 10 stars out of 5, but Ill do so anyway. If you have any alterations to have done on your clothing, you need to go to this business!

My go-to! Have used several times and always receive quality at a great price. Most recently I had HEAVY velvet curtains hemmed and am so blown away by how great they came out. I tried to do one panel myself first and it was too thick to complete. I took in and had the one I messed up fixed and the remaining panels hemmed. Measurements were right on point and even. Looks custom.

I’ve been going here for about a year now. We’re always taking in pants to be hemmed, tapered, redesigned, etc. Recently, I had a sweatshirt with a kangaroo pocket that I cut myself at home to give it a cropped look. I took it in to this cute shop to have the pockets sewn up. I just picked it up today, and it’s incredible! You can’t even tell there were pockets to begin with. The work is seamless, and she sewed the inside where the old pockets used to be as well. I was so happy. It’s perfect. She’s also done suits for my husband where she tapered the legs of pant, and jacket sleeves. This woman does great work, and I’m a forever customer. It’s hard to find a good tailor, and this one is a gem!

I am kind of surprised how many 5 star reviews there are! This was the weirdest experience I have ever had at an alteration shop. Basically just was told to leave and she didn’t even want to help me in the beginning. Maybe she was busy but that was by far the worst customer experience I have received.

AJs is the only place Ive used in Denver to get suits and shirts altered and Ive never looked for another place because she does such a fantastic job at a beyond-affordable price! Shes super kind and wiling to listen and do things the way you want--I like having my pants a bit tighter and shorter than what she was used to--and get them turned around quickly. Highly recommend!!

Im sorry it took me so long to post a review. I had bought a bridesmaid dress back in July, and had since lost about 30 lbs. I didnt realize the dress would need so much altered and waited until the Sunday before a Wednesday departure to Massachusetts to even try on the dress. BIG MISTAKE. But I called this place, and the main woman who works there was in the shop doing some work, even though it wasnt open. She told me to come by and drop off the product. By this time it was probably pushing 5pm on a Sunday. She took the dress, promised me it would be done by Wednesday at 2, and off I went. I have to say I was nervous, given that it was such a short time frame for so much to be taken up, including a hem that needed redone. But I showed up a few minute early on Wednesday and she was ironing the dress, and had it all ready for me. I tried it on and it fit like a glove. I couldnt even tell it was the same dress that fit me like a potato sack just a few days before. She did amazing work, did it within a really ridiculous time frame, and for cheap. I would have easily paid double that to have that stupid dress altered. I cant say thank you enough, and will definitely be bringing any future work her way (granted, without being such a dope about deadlines). Thank you again!

I’ll be back!! And you shouldn’t think twice about bringing your clothes here! I recently moved to Sloan’s Lake area from Wash park and used to go to Erol’s for my tailoring needs. I brought in 3 items, a chiffon bridesmaid dress, a delicate lace shirt, and a casual chiffon dress. The bridesmaid dress needed to be taken in about 3 inches in the bodice, straps taken in, and length shortened 2-3 inches. It fits perfectly now! The lace shirt needed to be taken in and it’s literally beautiful, she made sure to line up the zig zag on the bottom so it looks uniform, and for the chiffon dress she added an elastic waist so that it is more flattering and cinched. All of this in a 2 week turn around for $115!! Erol’s would’ve been double the price and time... I’ll be back and telling everyone I know to come to AJ alterations. Not to mention the friendly service. :)

Loved everything about this experience! I needed to alter a dress to be in a wedding and it was quick, a reasonable price, and the result is beautiful. The fit is better than I predicted it would be and she was able to keep the pleats/ruching which I didn’t expect! She steamed/ironed the dress and it’s now ready to be worn off the hanger which is incredible. She was very friendly and accommodating which I also appreciated. I will definitely be back!
