Great haircut for a great price. Its an honest, no frills, old school feeling place that has a nostalgic musk with two radios on in two different languages and I love that. It was a nice escape from the fake fronts of fancy salons that overcharge for a basic mens cut because they offer an experience. Ive paid way more for cuts that didnt look this good. She is certainly a Colfax gem. Ill be back for sure.

Not only is it one of the least expensive cuts Ive gotten it was also great. I asked for a trim and she knew what I meant. It was perfect. She cleaned up my cut very nicely. If you go to a barber shop dont expect a lot of conversation, its part of the reason to go.

I asked this guy I was talking to who cut his hair because it was perfect- he told me of this secret gem. I have tried plenty of places but this lady can cut my hair in a fourth of the time and it be the best haircut I have gotten in years. I just get a regular guys cut, so if you are looking for a hipster fancy cut you might need to go to one of the DB places.

Its a great place and Angie is super quick and very talented. But Id consider calling ahead, I arrived 30 and 75 minutes respectively before closing time 2 different nights this week to find the place was unexpectedly closed.

Angie is great at what she does. The place definitely needs some cleaning, but its a super inexpensive haircut and fast!

I got really lucky and picked this place when I got my first haircut in Denver after moving here a year and a half ago. Angie does a fantastic job; I tell her leave an inch on top, short on the sides and back and she knows exactly where to take it from there. The only tiny complaint I have is that the chair doesnt move down at all so I have to slouch my 64 frame so that Angie can reach everything comfortably. Definitely worth the quality haircut!

Awesome history to this place. Walt cut hair here for 50 years or so and gave free haircuts to the homeless on Colfax for years. He was a self-taught oil painter and painted their portraits to document the unseen.Now he retired and its run by Angie, who is a really nice vietnamese woman. She cuts a great head of hair, will clip your beard and your eyebrows, get your ear hair, etc.I always bring her a chocolate when I come in.She likes dark chocolate.And they only charge $12.Perfect. Every time. And no bs.

Good haircut at a great price, but the place was empty when I came in (even after calling ahead), and I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come in from the back. I’ll come back, but this particular experience was 3.5 stars.

Angie gave me the worst haircut of my life. My haircut requires scissors and she literally goes to use clippers on the top of my head. Not to mention, shes on the phone talking in Vietnamese right in my ear as shes screwing up my cut. I had to go to Floyds 99 where one of the stylists there were miraculously able to try and restore what she screwed up. Im talking uneven sides, lines in my hair, clumps of thick and thin hair all over. Worst experience Ive ever had. Will never go back.
