Would not recommend. There used to be a manager here who was great to work with and great with hair.Now, employees (Manny) are incredibly rude. Did not honor my appointment time, which I took off of work for, had me wait, didnt sanitize the chair between people, and most of all was incredibly rude.Stated that, Im not his client and he doesnt do my hair so he doesnt care,not his problem.Excellent customer service as an employee of a franchise owner.I think I dodged a bullet by attempting to trust this business and unprofessional with my hair when they couldnt do things as simple as 1. Honor an appointment and a customers time. 2. Be professional and business minded.

Chivon the manager is awesome, she has been doing my hair for the last 6 months and I love her work. Her color recommendations are on point! My hair has never looked better . The products she recommended have made my hair healthier and shiny. I highly recommend her ! Excellent customer service!

I went yesterday to get my hair cut and colored. I love it!! She did an amazing job. Thank you so much I have had some really bad hair cuts and Im always afraid to get it done.

I went to a Hairdresser at Smart Style on Colfax and Wadsworth that colored my hair and messed it up so bad that I thought it was beyond repair and so I went to the Lakeside Smart Style and seen Chivon and she was a life saver. She was able to repair the horrible job the other person did and it looks Awesome! She is a lifesaver. Will be going back to this salon only! Thank you again Chivon.

Chivon and her team are amazing! They are so helpful, they are honest about what theyre doing. Ive seen girls ask for color that would normally take other stylist 3-4 hours long visits to achieve, but Chivon can get them there in 1-2 visits. Great customer service experience over all. Ive been a client of Chivons for 9 years and I continuously refer people to this salon!

Worst experience ever. Went in with my mom and left the salon with something we did not ask for. The manager, Chivon, verbally attacked us for being honest about what we felt and for something we had to pay for. She said because I am a Mexican girl that I cannot get blonde highlights and I left with not one highlight in my hair and I came in with more highlights. She attacked my moms personal life and said we only complain. When that is obviously not true. If we always complain than my mom would not give her a $20 tip every time we go. I wouldnt give her a $10 tip everytime I go. We would not be regulars at this salon if we always complained. She pretty much told us we are not welcome at that salon anymore. All because she did not do what we asked. I left that salon with dark brown hair when I asked for more highlights. My mom left with 3 different colors in her hair. We were there for 5 hours because she was constantly talking and not focused on what we wanted. Want my advice? Save your money. The manager there is so unprofessional and rude. She was totally out of line and I would expect more for my money.

Chevon has to be the best (stylist) if your thinking of going blonde or maintenance up keep for blondes.
