Really nice barber and I hate to say it, but I won’t be coming back. I don’t have a high standard for haircuts, but this one was noticeably patchy and poorly blended.

Lesson learned, do NOT let the woman cut your hair. I have gotten dozens of cuts at chucks but i went in last week and my haircut was so bad i will never go back; i had to buzz my entire head to make it look normal.

Dan was the man! If you want a great cut from an awesome person definitely come here! They dont take reservations right now so call ahead.

Dan has been cutting my hair for 11 years. There used to be 3 barbers here, and one of them was Chuck (who owned the place forever). When Chucks old age prevented him from being able to work any longer, he sold the shop to Dan. This has always been a locally owned shop. Dans wife Lily helps out in the shop and has a nail salon in the back. Their kids are also around sometimes. A real family place. Dan is a really good barber. His prices are super reasonable. No appointments. You usually have to wait 10-20 minutes. Cash only. I highly recommend.

A barbershop among barbershops; this place is THE place on Tennyson. Dan and his wife are so friendly and welcoming. You get a little shoulder massage to start things off. Dan is a meticulous at cutting hair and extremely good at his craft. And the price is crazy reasonable. Awesome spot!

Chucks is a neighborhood staple. Chuck has now retired but the barber shop that carries his name continues to provide excellent care in mens barbering. Dan has cut my hair for the last 6 years and does fantastic work continuing Chucks legacy. For less than a $20 and usually 20 minutes you can be in and out with a fresh cut, a straight razor neckline shave, and a refreshing shoulder massage. Friday and Saturday can be a little longer wait but youll be in good company.

A family owned Vietnamese barber shop. The owner is very sweet and works with his wife. She gives a nice simple massage while you wait and then the owner cuts your hair. He has great attention to detail and an honest man. Great shop to visit!

Went in yesterday after not having been to Chucks in quite a while. At first I was a little skeptical as things looked different and I didnt see the barber I normally go to. So glad I stayed! Dan and his wife did such a great job. They are both very kind and I got one of the best cuts Ive ever had. Im a guy that usually find a great barber and that person is the only person I go to and Dan is definitely that guy from now on.

Chucks has been here over 50 years and theres a good reason why. They cut hair well, give a great relaxing and invigorating back massage (included!) and are very friendly. Chucks has that neighborhood feel that new shops lack. Lee and Dan are great and you can tell they care about cutting your hair right. The price is very reasonable.

Chuck does an exceptional job with any style of cut, and his attention to detail is extraordinary...he must instill this quality in his fellow barbers because every one of them take genuine care throughout the process. I happened into Dans chair a couple years ago, and after building a bond I always wait for him. Dan is a meticulous perfectionist, yet he moves very efficiently through each customer, leaving no one waiting for too long. As any respectable barber should, they finish cuts with a hot shaving cream shave with straight razor. Ive only been in Denver a few years, and places like Chucks make it feel like home.

Just moved to Denver. Spent some time looking for a new barber. A lot of the trendier places seemed over priced. I took and chance on this place. It was great! Its cash only. The cut was $23.Someone mentioned in another review not to expect conversation and that was definitely the case. Dan introduced himself, asked me what I wanted and we didnt speak again til he was finished. It might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it. More importantly, the cut was great. Ill be going back!

Been going to chucks for years - great barbershop. Dans haircuts are the best, and the straight razor and massage are old school finery you wont get anywhere else. Prices have gone up but still way cheaper than anywhere else.

Dan and Lily are great. I was greeted by Lily when I walked in and was given a shoulder massage. Then Dan the Man came out and gave me one of the best fades ive gotten. If you want to go to a nice small barber spot with awesome customer service. Look no further. Ill definitely be back here for my future cuts. Ive been going to Chucks for about 30+ years. I was there when the first space shuttle blew up. It used to be Chuck & Dicks. It hasnt changed much. If you want to go back in time and get an excellent haircut go to Chucks.

The haircut started off great, but when I asked my barber to give me a hard part, I told he isnt able to do that. Considering the gentleman was very elderly, incredibly polite he still did a very decent job, until it came to be able to do a part.

The best. Chuck is the epitome of hard work, small business America. We go there every six week. Family outing. Best.

These men are barbers in the every sense of the word, key to getting a good cut is communicating what you want, one good thing here is they have so much experience you dont have to say much.

Went in with long hair, and asked to have a half inch to an inch cut off. Asked the guy to stop because it was looking too short, and he just grunted... I left with generic short mens cut. Terrible experience, horrible service, and a staff that doesnt care.
