I usually have a good experience at Tire-stone but this time has made it better to go else where in the future. Most places don’t fix nail in tires I get that you want to make a sale but on this case I was told the tire could not be found which was a lie because I found it at a near by shop after 5 minutes on my phone. I left my car over night and the next day I had to call at 5pm and the person said “he forgot” to put in the order for the tire then called back less than 10 minutes later saying it could not be found but he can sell me 4 tires and replace the literally brand new tires since the one could not be found. Not sure why this person could not just be honest and say he forgot to look. Well guess I will have to find a new place now.
The gentleman who inspected my car was working alone and taking care of multiple customers while also manning the phone and he was so kind and friendly. He was happy to be there and so good to my mother. It was a very pleasant experience for something thats usually a such a pain.
I have been turned away by another Firestone several times, but this location is amazing. They have stepped up and helped me in times of need with the best customer service I have ever experienced. Jonathan is great and this team is quick. I will drive the extra 20minutes for the customer service alone.
Jonathan always take a good care of me here. Saves me money where I can, and explains my car problems car, if any, super clearly. He even saved a tire I forgot I ordered for 2 months straight before needing it. This store is always busy because this guy is good at what he does.
Super friendly and accommodating. We were on a road trip from CO to AL and our AC went out close to Denton. These guys worked us in and scrambled to track down a new condenser so we could get back on the road. Thanks again!
Jonathan is absolutely hands down an amazing GM. My family were a couple of Okies stuck in Texas with tire problems. After a few hours of nobody around Denton wanting to help us, Firestone to the rescue! Can’t recommend these guys enough.

I hes super easy to talk you and I didnt feel like my concerns were being dismissed like they usually with other mechanics because I am a girl smh . Once again disappointed in the service of firestone, they did an oil change to my daughters car and they left the oil filter perforated and the engine lost oil quickly, on other occasions in another firestone store they left my car the deposit open antifreeze and my car heated up, and on another occasion where the oil is refilled without a cap. My family and I have been taking our cars to firestone for years but I think its time to change companies because I dont want to wait for our cars to suffer further damage from you.
After a horrible experience at the bartonville store. We purchased new tires from the Corinth store and then we needed a battery desperately so we went to the Brinker store. Maybe those store should train bartonville. We only have 1 car and my kids played with the lights and stuff a few times and it has drained the battery. Yesterday the battery was almost completely drained and it certainly would not have lasted the rest of the day. I went on to the Brinker store and the store manager said it would be a few hours or maybe even the next day before he could get to it. He said Im down to 1 tech bc my other tech is leaving. Chris walked through about that time and overheard the conversation. He said il do it if thats all you need. He took my keys and changed the battery. We were on our way to basketball practice and were able to be on time. This is what service is about. He did not have to do this. But out of the kindness of his heart he changed it and we were out of there in 30 minutes. Good job and thank you sir.
My battery died during the recent snow storms. Being a Mini, replacement is complicated. The shop was able to get my car in, but then everything shut down. Unfortunately my car was stuck in the shop for a few days but then Andrew was able to come in on his own time and help me get my car back. Im very grateful. Wonderful customer service!
Had a set appointment at 3 I come in 20 mins early abs they tell me they down a tech abs I was 4 cars behind I think they could have gave me an option and called and let me know before driving 20 mins away find it funny that they were down a tech because the guy that came to the counter was sitting down eating and another was eating also there were no workers working at all but 3 people sitting inside Firestone will never get my business again and also do not go to this one they are a joke

Horrendous customer service. Waited and waited and waited for someone to come to the counter and was continually given the “one moment” finger from the gentleman that remained on the phone for twenty minutes. Another potential customer also left after receiving no help whatsoever.
Total waste of my time. I wouldn’t suggest going to the fire stone on Brinker for something as simple as an inspection.. let alone trusting them working on my car. My boyfriend and I walked in, and we’re the only customers in the store yet still weren’t greeted by the FOUR staff members that were up at the front chatting. We were told our inspection would take 30 minutes, after an hour of waiting they called to tell us they wouldn’t be able to complete the inspection because of our insurance, which is fine, but it could’ve taken about a minute of looking at the document we handed them to find that out.. then we asked if we could show proof of our current insurance but were then told the inspection guy had left “a while ago”... Not only are they rude but they clearly don’t have the slightest grasp as to what is going on around them.
I had a 7am appointment. I was there at 7am. They checked me in and I left. The manager waits until 11am to call and tell me he cant get my truck in until the next day. Then when I go to pick up my truck he says he wasted my time. No apology just excuses. Not the first time I had problems here.
Since moving to the area, I have trusted all of my vehicular to this location. Great customer service and willingness to work with me even when theyre swamped puts them leagues above the rest.
The supervisor was unprofessional everyone heard him getting on to one of his employees. You shouldnt do things like that in ear shot of the customers may loose business. One month later still havent received my 25.50 refund. Told them to keep it wont ever go back there

Firestone Brinker Road in Denton,Tx...$14,492 estimate and later that same day was towed to a different mechanic and repaired for $120 and receives a shiny new thermostat. No engine replacement required after all...and it didnt fail the block pressure test it got at the new mechanics place even after 91 minutes..Ive asked for the $71 fee for a supposed failed pressure test used to diagnose this nonexistant problem..even in person... and with socialcare email address I was directed to.No response from Firestone...no refunded fee...no explanation or apology.Before you go along with a seemingly plausible issue with your car, even when it seems it cant possibly be untrue...it can be. Buyer beware !Update: $71 refunded
We initially used Firestone for our vehicle inspection when we moved to Texas. The Staff was friendly & knowledgeable about the process. When our truck brakes started showing signs of wear, we decided to give them another try. VERY pleased we went back. The whole Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Dillon & Rene were awesome. Five stars for Customer Service. We felt like the Staff was trustworthy and we would recommend Firestone to family as well as friends.
I am giving it a three star because the womens bathroom was very nasty. The gentleman at the desk seemed very professional and they did a good job on my fiances car.

I haven’t been in a Firestone since 1996 because of my last experience and this time just blew me away!!! I will definitely be back (at least to this one).
They were able to schedule me on the same day. Paul and Kevin were very helpful and knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely recommend this shop. I have already recommend them to a couple of friends. I will definitely keep coming back.

Do not go here. A quoted $10,000 repair was fixed for $140. That is not a joke! They said we needed our engine replaced after it overheated briefly and it had pressure leaks all over. We got the thermostat replaced by someone else who also pressure checked it and found no leaks and its been running great ever since. Thats just disgusting!
I had my van serviced for a wheel alignment after having problems with my steering, Andrew explained very well any additional recommended services to complete, my van is driving much safer now.
This store is not only very knowledgeable but friendly and get you in and out in a very timely manner. Chris, the manager, really takes pride in taking good care of his customers and going that extra mile. If they dont have your tire they will get you one by the next day. I’m pretty sure they just cheated me. I took a tire in that was loosing air. My truck sensor said it was the front left tire, so I asked them to check that tire. They said their was a nail in a bad spot and they needed to replace it. I said okay. They said they only had a higher version of the tire, so I said fine. Then they replace it and I leave.Ten minutes down the road, the same sensor indicator went off again! I took it to the dealership and they said the sensor was mixed up and it was the back left tire with the slow leak.So if the back left had the leak, why did firestone find a nail in a bad spot on one of the tires that wasn’t losing air. I should have asked to see the nail.
Got a really good deal on tires here. I was surprised. The last time I was there they quoted me a price that was just through the roof on some tires but it was for a different car. I was kind of in a bind and didnt want to spend a lot of money on new tires on this certain car. But they came through and gave me a great set of tires at a great price. I will be checking them out more often on pricing. The work was quick. I really appreciated that..
Took my car in for an inspection, attendant at the counter insisted that I had to have a paper insurance card, which no other car shop in the city requires (even the other Firestone on university). Attendant was rather rude. Will not return.
Service advisor Brad was outstanding getting my auto in and out of the shop in 2 1/2 hrs on a Friday afternoon before a holiday. I got 4 new tires, alignment, oil change and state inspection for a very reasonable / honest price. The technician OITIES did exceptional work.
I just wanted in there lobby. Until my ride could pick me up. It was really nice to be out of the heat. ( My car was over heating, they were 8 people ahead of me, so I called for a ride home. P.s they help me with my car so I could get it home)

2014 is a NEW GREAT YEAR for this Firestone location!! The two front-end Managers were quick to greet me and assist. The mechanic Chris is EXTREMELY knowledgable about FORDS, LINCOLNS, and Mustangs. He was able to diagnose my issue with my 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII. He worked on the car immediately and had me out in 30 minutes. CHRIS is an amazing mechanic. I will DEFINITELY go back and have him work on my car. The PRICE for the job was extremely reasonable and much better than I could get anywhere else. Stop by and have them give you an estimate. I am sold on this place - honestly!

This place is just a bunch of dishonest, sleazy liars. My story is fairly long, but it was just a series of events that just soured my experience.I went in for a simple oil change and one of their seasonal check ups (their promo for tire pressure check, windshield wiper fluid check, etc). They did the oil change fine but after the check, they came back saying that my cabin air filter is really dirty and needs to be changed. I was skeptical, but I knew that its been a while so I wasnt confident in saying otherwise. Well, thats when the guy went into the garage and came back with a super dirty air filter in his hand, telling me it was mine. I had them change it cause I took their word for it.So after that was done, they came back out again and said that my shocks and struts also need to be replaced because theyre about to go out at any time. At this point, Im seriously getting bad vibes from this particular store. So I told them Ill put it off because I didnt have the money.When I got back to my car after paying, there were a handful of screws on top of the dashboard. Seriously? I went back in and asked the mechanic, he said he wasnt sure because the dashboard wasnt loose and everything seemed in order. I was so exasperated by then that I just wanted to leave. So I left.A week later, I was a bit worried that maybe there was a semblance of truth that the shocks and struts in my car could be dangerous and about to go out and cause an accident randomly. I went to another Firestone just because I wanted to see if they would say the same thing. Well, they didnt. They said nothing was wrong with my shocks and struts. Imagine what I felt.In all, the other Firestone was redeemed but I will never go to this particular location ever again.

Took in a week ago for a ticking sound which turned to be a lose/old water pump, plus I new it needed a new timing belt. I had already gotten an estimate where I used to live and now here Firestone gave me the same estimate included in the diagnosis fee. They where opened before and after work, and they knocked it out in one day! Car was running great, really big difference but last night car just would not start even though everything seemed ok. Got it towed here wondering if it was the previous repair job. Left my keys with the mechanic, then realized I left my house keys with him so I came back to get them. He showed me some of the work he was doing and was very transparent while I got my house keys, and in that moment found out the issue was with an electrical relay (like a fuse). I felt they were really honest and transparent and that means everything.
Tom is amazing! He spoke with my grandmother from east tx and set up a time for me to come in, he came in on his day off to handle everything since my grandmother was paying for it from out of town. Chris did an awesome job and was really fast! Quite literally mine and my childrens lives were saved because of the work yall did! Ill definitely be coming back!!
Craig is the ONLY reason that I will return to this Firestone location. Ive had a few bad experiences at this location and the one off University, but the level of customer service I received from Craig has made up for all of it. From seeing the price gouging reputation this Firestone has on this site I guess I shouldnt be surprised. Went to see about getting my brake pads and rotors replaced. They say I need that and wiper blades which is true. I have a cracked tail light however that functions perfectly and they wanted to charge me to repair the assembly, and acted surprised when I told them it passed inspection just fine. I noticed that they also added something about an oil gasket needing replaced or something like that and Ive seen a few people on this site mention a similar charge (they didnt tell me about it just snuck it onto the itemized receipt). All in all they tell me its gonna run me $2000 and immediately push their credit cards. Im no mechanic but Im fairly certain you can get all new pads, rotors, etc for $1000 or less even. When I decided they were shady and said I would like my car back I heard the technician say Really??? Okayyy., in a very rude and sarcastic manner. No respect whatsoever. I work for Enterprise rent a car and we have contracts with them but I am disgusted we do business with them after this experience.

In for a oil change with my daughters car she has always used Firestone. The shop was not very busy took 2.5 hrs not much urgency. Staff was courteous but again no urgency, I would hate to be here if they were busy.
We were traveling from out of town and pulled into this repair shop on Sunday 4/23 at 3:30 pm with a weird problem. About 30 minutes earlier I had filled up my gas tank and also added a small amount of power steering fluid since it was a little low. As soon as I restarted my car, the engine was revving to almost 3000 rpms while in Park! What the heck!!! Never had this happen before. I managed to drive it roughly 5 miles to their shop. Initially they couldnt get it out of Park when they started it. Once they were able to get it inside, they were able to quickly diagnose it as a failed power steering pump pressure switch. I guess adding the small amount of power steering fluid was enough such that the engine thought the fluid pressure was low and since the pump is driven by the engine, the engine was revving up to increase the pump speed and therefore increase the pressure. They got me fixed up and out the door by 4:45 pm which was fantastic since we had to drive back to Houston. Even put on a couple of new tires that were badly needed. Kudos to Renee and the rest of the repair shop team!! Thanks for being open on a Sunday afternoon and sacrificing your time to be there when we needed you most. We made it back to Houston without issue. Ill be sure to send my daughter your way if she ever needs car service while attending UNT. Thanks again!!!Mark in Houston.
Before I start keep in mind I have no clue about cars but how to put gas in them. I took my car for coolant flush got it back and the next day my a.c. starts blowing hot air took it back the young lady talks to me as if Im completely stupid and schedule for me to get my a.c. checked (I didnt go bc I just felt like it was something else and I know my car like I know my body) then a couple days later my car runs hot well after consulting outside help come to find out the line needed to be burp, I address the issue with the manager and you think he cared that I had to do their job I paid them for, nope, I was just told it wont happen again VERY bad business sir the only reason I went to firestone bc they were cheaper then the dealership(of course) but lesson learned Ill just stick to what/who I know
They are always super nice and helpful. They keep you informed of the wait time and do what they can to keep your vehicle in the best shape!
Asked girlfriend to go get spark plugs, wires, and fluids done while changing my oil.Changed my oil.They told her: dont go off getting a bunch of work done when you dont even know what the problem is.Come back after theyre finished and say, change your spark plugs, wires, and fluids.Wasted my time and failed to listen to the customer - just assumed they were stupid.On top of that, they told me my valve cover and oil pan gaskets were bad. Upset with them after their failure to do what Id asked, I went and did most of the other work myself. After removing the spark plugs, there was absolutely NO oil on any of them, which means my valve cover gasket was fine. Ive also not seen a single drop out of my oil pan gasket, which means my oil pan gasket is fine, too. Idiots do not know what theyre talking about, and are only interested in screwing and insulting their customer.
Very honest and open about the work that needed to be done. Honored their warranty without hassle. I do my own car repairs and take my vehicle here when I have work that requires special tools I dont have (air conditioning gauges, wheel alignments, ect...)

Came in to have one tire done cause it had a nail in it. First he quoted me $189 for one brand new tire!?! I looked at him crazy and said no you can just leave the other tire on there then and Ill go some where else.He then said he could reduce it. So it went from 189 to 110..I still said no...so he reduced it again to $86.87. Now then it sure the hell sounds like this guy just wanted to sell me a brand new tire at a ridiculous mark up!!Go some where else for tires! You can hit up dealerships during sales to save you hundreds on all 4 tires when you need them.
The prices here are just crazy. They try to sell you on things that you don;t need done. They just want your money, not much integrity here.
Id say zero stars, mostly negative infinity. My sister got a full car check paid 500 dollars for basically nothing to be done. Because she came to another mechanic and found out she had an ERRODED BATTERY. So she had to pay to get that fixed somewhere else. My dad paid 70 bucks to fix a front light on his car when he could have paid 13 bucks at walmart for the same job! Dont go here, their prices are outrageous and they do an awful job
I guess they don’t know how to change spark plugs and ignition coils,had to come back twice cause they couldn’t do it right and finally I did it myself got it right first time,don’t know why it’s so hard for yall

Clean office, complimentary coffee & professional service, $25 car inspection... 3 STARS: changed my engine oil by mistake (premiere synthetic Mobile1 with a premier mobile1 filter with Penzoile oil and generic filter). Quoted to charge $65 to change the 3rd break light bulb ($5 part from nearby walmart and 1 min of labor time).

I am hesitant about leaving one star review. My daughter goes to UNT and works in Denton. She took her car to Firestone to get the inspection done.They told her it would not pass inspection because of a small crack in the rear taillight and wiper blades and tires (decided to go to Discount Tire). The cost of these repairs was:Rear Taillight =$121.96 (by the way it works perfectly Crack?)Wiper Blades = $ 25.98/They had to order the rear taillight. When it came in today my daughter took the car. Instead of 121.96 they charged her .175.99. I should add that we talked to Firestone a number of times. Each Time they confirmed the price. I might add I talked to Pepboy who would do the repair it for 133. I should have told my daughter to get there.I did not approved of her taking the car to Firestone because of a number of bad experiences I have had. I suggest people think twice before staring this adventure with them,. Also a lot of wasted time by my family.

This workshop is located near 35 Highway @ Denton . Mechanics and representatives are not friendly . Always they are trying to avoid you and for my case, that did some false statement .Otherwise workshop is good with medium size .Around 8-10 counters are there and avg wait time is 2-3 hrs
Twice now this particular Firestone has taken advantage of my wife, I assume because she’s a female. They stated the brake rotors couldn’t be turned and needed rotors and pads all the way around and it would cost over $600. I authorized over the phone to do the front pads and one rotor I knew was bad and picked up the car. I took it to an actual brake shop and I paid $240 out the door for the brake rotors turned, pads, new hardware, AND an alignment. If you’re a female, stay away from this place. They have a bunch of guys that will try to pull one over on you. I use Firestones all over the country and this has been the worst one...by FAR. Buyer beware.

I got stuck outside of this Firestone with an overheated engine. They did a block test and told me that it was the head gasket. Then immediately told me that it would be cheaper to replace the entire engine for $2500. They gave me a quote for the engine replacement but NOT one for the work that would supposedly be more expensive. Something felt off so I got out of there immediately. After I leave, the inspection sheet doesnt state that the head gasket is the problem at all, moreover Kwik Kar denies a few of the problems Firestone claims that I have.Took the vehicle to Kwik Kar and they told me that I needed a new water pump and belt, THAT IT WAS NOT THE HEAD GASKET, and that my engine did not need to be replaced. They took much better care of me and 100% confirmed that I needed no such major work.If you do choose to go to this Firestone, Id recommend that you get a second opinion.
Went to get my truck inspected and they said it failed because my window tint was to dark, everything else passed. They got my $25.50, but that will be the first and last time I use them. My windows arent that dark, that only 15% of light can come through!
